it was only a matter of time before i ended up doing some inside no 9 fanart huh? anyway this is dedicated to my favourite (atm) episode of the show, 'diddle diddle dumpling'

It's been about 9 and a half months since I had Let's Get Back! put out a new compilation cover album, so for their grand return, they present Class of the 2000s! A love letter to some of my favorite cartoon theme songs from the past decade or so!

For anyone who doesn't know, cartoons and animation is one of my special interests, and I have a playlist that's just some of my all time favorite cartoon theme songs, and this is a selection of a few of those! Also, I think I've mentioned this here before, but Let's Get Back! is my OC cover band! You can read more about them here if you'd like, but in short, they just play covers of whichever songs I want them to lol. It's all just in spirit tho, I can't actually play music to save my life lmao.

In this, Shep, PB, Rye and Pumpernickel (Let's Get Back!'s four main members) are joined by Starburst for the vocals on tracks 1, 8 and 10! I wanted to include Starburst because she's basically made for something like this. She's basically a kinsona of Jenny from Wayside hehe. For this, I also gave each of my characters outfits to match some of the characters from the shows showcased!

From left to right they're: Pumpernickel as Jimmy from Jimmy Two-Shoes PBnJ as Tamama from Sgt. Frog Starburst as Jenny from Wayside [which is just her default design lol] Shep as Abe from Clone High Rye as Jimmy from Jimmy Neutron

But this, like I said, is a showcase of some of my all time favorite theme songs! Two of them in fact (Master and Hey 2 Look 2), introduced me to what would become two of my all time favorite bands in Abandoned Pools and Beat Crusaders respectively hehe. Since I did announce im putting the comic in hiatus,, might as well share few facts or lores about her but wont spoil the comic (unless u visit my old lmk oc competition masterlist)

So uh some boring- definitely fun facts about Jiao Yue:

She got the same hair color as her dad

She killed her first victim at the age of 15, which is also the same time when her senri spirit awakens

She isn’t good at socializing due to her mother making her prioritize studies first. Although she managed to get one friend, aka Syaoran.

Syaoran is her first friend and her first boyfriend, also first ex-

In the comic, she works as a business accountant in the shoe store in megapolis

She left the village because she wants to avoid Syaoran.

When she left, her father disapproved about her choice, but her mother just let her go, but is still somewhat overprotective of her.

Jiao Yue probably has no idea that Syaoran and Hei Yin are also in the city lol

Jiao Yue is very, very careful when hunting people. But she gets distracted when she feels uncomfortable, which is probably why she wasn’t as too secured when cleaning the bodies of the latest victims she killed (she got uncomfortable specially bout that harassment thingy)

She likes siomai lol

She’s more of an introvert, though she enjoys taking walks outside. Just not with people.

Has an alter ego (her senri spirit),, both needs therapy tho

She has moles on her shoulders and neck, but I only drew the mole under her right eye

Redesign of my redesigns from last year !?! I’m obsessed with mh again so I’m redoing my redesigns because I’ve grown attached to the g3 designs lmao. So here’s Frankie first because they’re my fav

Ok so for the “child of Frankensteins creature”, instead of being the child of victor Frankenstein, imagine a universe where victor was actually nice to his creation, gave him a name (Adam Frankenstein), and created a child for him instead of a bride. Also imagine Frankie sees Victor as an uncle more than a grandpa even tho he is technically their grandpa lmao

15 days old = 15 yrs old, they’re a sophomore at monster high

Since Mattel can’t make Frankie green anymore because of copywrite, I made them bluish and greenish yellow, blue for the g3 design and green yellow for the book design of Frankensteins creature (his skin is yellow because of formaldehyde so why not have Frankie’s skin a little yellow too)

Loves doodling on their prothetic leg

I went with an even nerdier design than last time I drew Frankie just because in the reboot movie, they wore sweater vests a lot and I thought it was cute lol

Loves accessorizing and piercings sm like their room is probably filled with diy jewelry kits and different jewelry for piercings (ofc their dad makes them get them professionally done no diy piercings here 😞)

Has a friendship bracelet with all friends possible and probably makes more all the fime

Their bag is a blue star bag with a yellowish white fluffy shoulder pad

Very very very tall, not as tall as their 8ft tall dad tho lmao

Loves platform shoes and bright makeup

Hair is like a side shave (shaved side is purple) with black streaks and a blue underdye

Doesn’t have braces anymore maybe they got them removed Lmao

Very much involved in school and probably has the most school spirit out of everyone

Doesn’t understand certain phrases (ex: bottle up ur feelings-they literally bottle up their feelings, it’s raining cats and dogs-probably will go looking for cats and dogs)

Based on my last redesign, probably still uses mobility aids when needed but they also have a prosthetic leg so idk how much

Can remove and add new limbs whenever

UPDATE: another idea I had and have said here before is that their dads could also be Herbert and Dan from reanimator because I think it's funny lol

DabiHawks as parents headcanons ~

note: requested by anon a while ago, so sorry for being so slow! these are the kids in question, and this is sort of a warm up project for a multichaptered slice of life fic I'm gonna write on the subject, so this will focus on the first few years, and the upcoming fic will be more in depth and on the later years <3

so first of all, idk how the kids came to be exactly, but my go to is a quirk thing, and they were def a bit of a surprise

at first, Dabi was the one who was freaking the f out, while Keigo was keeping his spirits up and trying to stay positive for the both of them

but pretty quick Dabi is reminded that kids are pretty sturdy, and that he does actually remember more about babies and totts than he thought from being an older brother

Kiego, however, gets a bit of a rude awakening the first time he held the twins

He had never seen anything this tiny like how is he supposed to keep it alive?? And happy?? And help make them into good people?? He's not even sure he is a good person!

They come to realize they sorta even each other out tho, so they kinda work great together

The twins are fraternal, a boy and a girl, both have wings like Keigo, but their wings are mismatched, one red and one white, opposite of the other

The girl is name Haya, and the boy is Haruto, Haru for short

Just around when the kids have their second birthday, Keigo and Dabi are finally starting to feel like they're gaining back some sense of control, and then; the children starts goes airborne

Every time they run into someone they don't see as often who asks about the kids they're like "yeah, no, it's great, even tho there are two of them, and they are running now and grabbing things and oh, they can fly, so-"

Even tho things are chaotic they are loving it, they'd honestly probably be bored if things were too calm

Haru happens to have the same type of split hair as Shouto has, only with blonde and white, but he generally looks so much like Shouto did. at that age and sometimes it absolutely shatters Dabi's heart

He'll see Haru do something silly and childlike and be all happy and innocent and then he'd remember Shouto's crying and training and his own misplaced resentment of his brother, and he'll just have to call up his brother and ask him if he's eating enough, sleeping well, being safe of patrol and to make sure his boyfriend is being nice to him

Shouto is always a little confused, but he still appreciates the sentiment lol

Dabi is the type to always carry the kids around, even as they get older, and they often hang around his shoulders, one on his chest and one on his back

He's also the type to play a little rougher with them, throwing them around and holding them upside down and the kids adore it

Keigo is always running after them like a stressed mother bird

Haya gets into all kinds of spooky things really early, and Haru is terrified of it, so since Dabi also loves it, it becomes their little thing

Haru and Keigo will be in the other room watching Disney movies and sobbing lol

Keigo (not so) secretly loves dressing them up when they little, putting together their outfits is one of his favorite things to do

Even when they get older he'll keep a few pairs of shoes etc to look at and get emotional

They're both very much “as long as they know we love and support them no matter what they’ll be fine” kind of parents, and they both love it a lot more than they figured they would have before they had them <3

Their pants have hidden pockets, stuffed with materials and items for their clown acts. Mostly balloons. (Their hats have stuff too)

On birthday parties they always end up covered in cake

Free to roam around where the public is. Need employee permission or escort to go to restricted areas

Often seen in the daycare where there is a lot of kids to play with. Sun doesn’t always enjoy their visit (such troublemakers sometimes)

At night, when the Pizzaplex closes they immediately go to the daycare. To play with Sun and accompany Moon in his patrols (Moon will never admit he appreciates the company)

They can’t be separated. It causes an extreme anxiety for both, especially if it’s forced

Twin telepathy. Normally knowing what the other thinks. Often saying stuff at the same time and finishing each other sentences

They rarely fight with each other

None of them knows personal space

They either help or create chaos (Both? Excellent partners in crime)

Press their nose, it does honk noises. They also have a feature to make their shoes do funny sounds

Fart jokes (noises) are hilarious for them

They are indeed high intelligent AI’s but they have the knowledge of a child. Teach and treat them like a kid

Can handle a limited amount of water if they get wet. Preferably to avoid it

Their white eyes can turn black with red pupils when turned in security mode. It is only to intimidate intruders and potentially dangerous people. (Can act scary if their target doesn’t normalize)

They have no virus! But that doesn’t mean they can’t obtain it 👁️👁️

Likes the color blue and sharks

Normally the one who makes troubles (nothing serious, just mischievous child behavior)

Loves to make people smile and laugh but also get in their nerves (depending the person and situation)

Likes the color pink and bunnies

The more responsible one of the two but still gets involved in troubles

Loves to make people have fun (specially if it’s done by his clown acts)

In the future I would like to share some ideas of AU’s I have in mind (idk if they are good enough lol) but for now my goal is to finish art projects that are meant for many friends and awesome artists.

Hi, I love your work! I'm trying to start to get into writing myself. I was wondering if you could share any tips on it, because you write so aunthentically. Thank you so much 🥰🥰

omgg ur too sweet!! if you ever post your works pls tag me<3 though tbh i don't know what to say haha. there are no tricks here i think i just black out and a spirit possesses me.

ill list some stuff i do that helps me personally but it all depends on what you like :)

1. have a crippling marijuana dependency🫵🏻🫵🏻 brain doesn’t function without it

2. lol but i like to have something to sip on when write- which is typically in the evening so tea, coffee, mineral water or something heavier like syrah

3. i listen to music that inspires me - i personally don’t always write great when i listen to music that has lyrics even tho i get inspiration from it. im a tchaikovsky truther🫶🏻

4. i usually start by planning out an outline of where i want the fic to go: themes to anchor, plot (esp if it is a request), and just throwing down dialogue that i think would work at any point. my fics never make any sense until i flesh out scenes and rearrange them to fit a narrative at the end of my process.

5. i always ALWAYS try to put myself in character's shoes to get close to authenticity as possible esp with emotions and logic. when i enter a room, what are the smells, sounds, sensations..then visuals. idk that’s just how i like to write.

6. i don’t like writing characters that i don’t like. it makes my writing (me PERSONALLY pls don’t hate me) inauthentic and honestly just bad.

**this doesn’t mean i only write characters that are like me, absolutely not!!! but rather that i prefer to make at least a small backstory in my mind, as many writers do, even when the info isn’t written or established in the story. it makes characters more genuine and authentic - i like to consider things like how were they raised? trauma? what would piss me/someone i love off, how would it differ if their personality was different to mine? how would i/someone i love overreact, if stressed out? split second reactions etc

7. leave things up for interpretation!! i try to let aspects of my writing up for reader’s beautiful minds to come up with. makes reading more enjoyable for them imo

And the model is me :D (Mainly just because I'm always available to take pics of myself lol) For the top tho, I bought it back in 2020 and have attempted to hunt down where I'd gotten it from to get more colors & because other people have asked me where I got it from, but.... Idk where it was from ;__; There's no real identifying info on the top itself either. All I know for sure is that I got it after seeing @/alythuh on twitter wearing one while painting & her reply to someone with a link to it. Sometime last year I tried to hunt down that tweet where she'd linked to it and I can't find that either :[ If ever I somehow come across these tops again I'll be sure to let everyone know. secondly, i agree with you on all the things you had to say !! i was once in your shoes, and if i’m being completely honest, a part of me is still navigating this as well. like some things i still question for example is if there is rlly nothing wrong with this, why do i feel the need to hide that i read/write? but for the most part, rn i am definitely set on there being absolutely nothing wrong with this! i can definitely see where these other ppl are coming from if they had never thought much of fanfiction or reader inserts etc. bc it’s probably similar to how i felt before being more exposed to fanfiction. but imo these are fantasies i just imagine in my head anyway and are almost like dreams to me yk? and so imo, they’re harmless. in fact, writing and reading ffs help grow my creativity, which is smth i value. cuz not only am i doing this for entertainment, i’m also doing it for the art (this is in terms of writing more so than reading but can still apply to both). however, similar to you, i do believe that imagines can be taken too far, as that is what aligns with my beliefs, such as nsfw fics (which is not anything personal at all to nsfw writers!). that imo can be harmful for the mind and spirit etc. (sorry if this is getting too deep and personal 😭)

Four and Twilights friendship is so underrated.

Look at this tiny guy just holding his friends shield because he can’t be with him right now. He’s not moving it or anything he’s just holding it as a way to feel closer to Twi and that just makes me so sad for these two. And he only puts it down when Wind and everyone else gets back. This is just like when he went out to hang out with Epona.

I know everyone is always focused on Time and Wild when it comes to Twilight but real talk I think Four is just as close to Twi. These two hang out often, they share secrets, and they have a very mutual respect for each other.

Four and Twilight are best friends and this is hill I’m going to die on

Did someone say Minish Cap

Things about the Minish Cap that more people should talk about because it’s adorable and hilarious

The Power Braceletes. Makes Minish Four strong enough that he can move things regular sized Four can move. That means Four can canonically throw people around when he's two inches tall. Time's Golden Gauntlets can get dunked on (Only when Four is tiny tho. He doesn't have enhanced strength when he's big. The bracelets were made for Minish so I guess they don't work when he's big lol).

His Gust Jar sucked up a ghost. Just slurped it right up. And Four can see spirits too, apparently, because not everyone saw that ghost.

Kinstones are fucking weird - they make doorways open, repair fallen trees, create chests, summon ladders, AND OPEN PORTALS? They can also create Golden enemies.

Golden enemies are extra hard to kill like in BOTW and they also drop a lot of extra loot. I guess all those Golden enemies in BOTW were spawned from Kinstones too???

He has a Grip Ring which helps him climb and his cap can be used like a paraglider. Why does no one ever address this?

Four also has Remote Bombs - a Minish inventor living in a mushroom gave them to him.

Can use his ocarnia to summon a tiny bird named Zeffa to carry him around. Normal-Sized Four can be carried by a little bird.

Din, Nayru and Farore exist in his time. Din is from Holodrum and is a dancer while Nayru is an oracle who comes from Labryanna. Are these the same from Legend's time? Who knows - certainly not the timeline

Vaati was a minish. He was Ezlos apprentice.

Ezlo is a super talented Minish. He made a cap that grants the wishes of those who wear it. He literally made his own triforce.

Hilariously, Zelda is a shoe lover. She is the shoemakers main source of income. That's canon. This princess has a closet full of shoes.

Four has fused Kinstones with mysterious walls. Yes, I said walls. Don't ask me how that works.

He also fuses kinstones with clouds. Literal clouds. This kid is crazy.

Town Picori apparently live in town because they really, really like humans. They used to be Forest Minish but they moved to be closer to the humans 🥺

Mountain Minish are not native to the mountain. There are only eight Minish on Mt. Crenel and seven of them are students who chose to follow their master, Melari, when he moved.

Apparently Gorons are in short supply during Four's era. They used to live on Mt. Crenel but now they live in a cave because there are so few of them. What happened to them?

Clouds are solid? Four walks on them. They aren't floating platforms or anything - it's just straight cloud. Idk man.

All kids in Hyrule go to the school in Hyrule Town, including Zelda and Link. Yes, Zelda actually attended a public school. Elementary school fic anyone?

Acrobandits. There's not much to them I just like to mention them whenever I can. They're little bandit ducks who stack on top of eachother, what's not to love?

Grandpa Smith and King Daltus (Zeldas Father) have a history. Both of them were talented swordsmen back in the day. They were friends and rivals. They even faced each other in the Picori Festival Swordfighting Tournament me year and eventually fought to a draw.

Zelda and Four are confirmed to have met through their father and grandfather. They are second generation friends.

Zelda is kind of a badass. In the beginning of the game Vaati wins the swordfighting tournament and the thus the right to approach a magically sealed chest with all of Hyrule's evil trapped inside. When he announces his evil intentions to open it the guards try to stop him. He attacks, blowing back the King and all of the Guards. Then he tries to approach the chest. But Dot, instead of fleeing, summons her magic ability and actually squares up like she's going to fight him. In the cutscene she actually approaches him like she and Vaati are in that Jojo Walking Meme. It's great and I love her.

This game has a bad ending. In the leadup to the final battle against Vaati, Four has to fight his way up the castle before a bell chimes three times. There is no visible counter or timer but you can actually take too long. If you do, then the bell chimes a final time and you get a small cutscene of Vaati taking Dot's lightforce. So there is actually a way to lose this game without dying.

The Lightforce. There is no triforce in this game. The Lightforce is a magical energy that was gifted to the Royal Family by Minish. There is no real description of what it is other than pure magical energy.

Two out of the five dungeons Four goes through are Minish sized. The Temple of Droplets and the Forest Temple. The Bosses are a single octorok and one (1) Chu, respectively. Do what you will with that information.

For the first part of the game Four uses Smith's Sword, the sword made by his grandfather, until he exchanges it for the White Sword, which he eventually forges into the Four Sword.

The Four Sword can break curses. Everyone in the castle gets turned into stone and Four saves them all by charging up his sword and hitting them with a sword beam.

Anyone in Four's Era can just buy a pair of Pegasus boot. They aren't dungeon items. (Zelda definitely has a pair)

Alright let's just get one thing clear here-

Four is 100% right here. Wild absolutely needs to be stopped. By force, if necessary (and it looks like it will be necessary).

Twilight is hanging on by a thread. Last we saw him the guy was barely conscious, unable to even keep his eyes open. He's making death speeches that may or may not be because he's delirious. He's drifting in and out of consciousness. He has no strength to waste on anything but breathing.

He most certainly doesn't need Wild bursting in and stressing him out. Let's not forget; Twilight is Wild's emotional support wolf. He's there when the champion has nightmares and stays with him through his memories. He's been there for Wild all through Wild's known life. He feels responsible for Wild's emotional state, even stating that he wished he could do more.

You really think seeing Wild so distraught is going to be good for him? Because it won't. The only one who'll benefit is Wild, and even that is questionable at best.

Because Wild is living in denial. He's insisting that no one can die, refusing to even hear Four name it as a possibility. He's volatile to the point of manhandling Four out of the way and shouting at anyone who doesn't give him the answers he wants to hear. Can you imagine the damage he could do just by being in the room? Yelling at Twilight to get up, yelling at Hyrule to heal him, yelling at Time for getting in the way?

Any extra stress could tip the scales when Twilight's on the razor's edge.

Four sees the writing on the wall.

"I can't let you go through like this"

Wild is in no state to be around someone so weak. If he were calmer then there might be an argument here but as it is Wild is just too wound up.

And what Wild wants right now is, frankly, selfish. He isn't listening to Four and choosing the best course of action for Twilight; he's thinking about himself. He's worried for Twilight, sure, but it's a selfish worry. Instead of wondering "what can I do to maximize the chance Twilight survives" he's instead thinking "I need to see him no matter what". No matter who he has to abandon, walk away from or fight through. Even though he's told, in no uncertain terms, that it wouldn't be helpful unless he knew a way to help Twilight heal (and he's given no such indication).

He is straight up told that Twilight "doesn't need this right now" but still insists on seeing him anyway.

Because he wants what he always wants from Twilight: comfort. He wants to be told that it's all going to be fine and the longer he's denied the crutch he's been counting on the more hot headed he gets. Because he's freaking out, in a full blown PTSD meltdown and of course he's searching for support in the once person he’s always counted on.

Which is understandable, but not excusable. Trauma explains shitty behavior but it doesn't vindicate it; You can't endanger other people just because you're triggered - it doesn't work like that.

And let's not forget he's not the only one suffering right now. He might have the strongest bond with Twilight but he doesn't have the only one. Every Link is Twilight's friend. Each and everyone of them would miss him if he were gone. Wild does not hold the monopoly on grief and it's not fair to forgive Wild's actions while damning everyone else.

Four himself is pretty close to Twilight and he had enough sense to tell Twilight not to worry about them. If Four can look past his own wants for Twilight's sake then why is it too much to ask Wild to do it too?

So I'm not hoping Four kicks his ass because I want Wild to be hurt, okay? I want Four to kick his ass so that he's forced to confront his own selfishness. Because no matter how sad or distraught Wild is it does not matter more than Twilight's life. Even if seeing Twilight will help Wild a lot and only hurt Twi a little, that little is still much more important in this scenario.

Because feelings can be fixed later. Death is permanent.

(To be very clear I'm happy Wild is being selfish here from a narrative standpoint. I love my characters flawed and I think it's good for Wild in the long run. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a character making a bad choice in the heat of the moment. Even on my personal favorites I welcome character flaws because overcoming those flaws make for stronger characters. I just typed this up because I don't like that some people are acting like Wild is a victim here when he is very clearly the aggressor. Because that's not a bad thing to be! It just means there's character development in the works!)

The Great Warriors Misconception

It’s been noted that there’s been a steady uptick in Warriors content in the fandom recently. Although not all of it has been flattering. Fanonization of a character is pretty normal; once a characteristic has been identified it tends to get thrown around the fandom echo chamber until it’s permeated through most of the fandom. So there’s nothing unusual there. It’s happened with Sky’s sleepiness, Time’s mystique, and Wild’s angst. But in the case of Warriors it gets a little strange. See, his canon character didn’t really translate over to fandom so cleanly.

In fact, I found that many of his supposedly “well-known” traits don’t actually have any canon basis. Even the ones you think are rooted in canon are actually fandom constructed on some small misconceptions.

First, let's get the basics out of the way: Warriors is not a flirty pretty boy. In fact, I’d go so far as to say he’s not flirty at all. I can see where this idea started but upon closer inspection it's actually way more complicated than you’d expect. In ‘Doodles 6’ on the archive we’re treated to this:

Where we see Wars hiding from a few women. Now, we’ve all been kinda taking this to mean that he was flirting with all the women in the tavern. But when you look at it objectively it actually appears to be the opposite; women are approaching him. And not only are they flirting with him but he doesn’t seem to be enjoying it. Jojo’s notes below actual lend this this idea too:

“Hero of warriors has so many ladies after him… you know, for his heart…and soul…and his head 💀”

There’s nothing there about Warriors being a flirt. The whole pretty boy thing is a reference to his game where the main conflict started when Cia fell in love with the hero's spirit, thus causing the whole war. So him being desirable has nothing to do with a playboy personality and everything to do with his appearance.

And speaking of his appearance, he’s not all that concerned about his. Again, another misconception. In ‘mirror shield’ he’s examining his black eye, yes, but it’s nothing egregious. It’s only natural to check on your injury. And in ‘Regroup’ he doesn’t seem to have a problem with a scratched up face; he’s smirking and joking as usual. So he’s clearly not that bothered.

Moving on, his core personality. I don’t know where anyone got the idea that he was a jokey/comical character but he’s not. When it comes down to it he’s right up there with Twilight in seriousness during battles. He’s usually the one helping Time to come up with plans (‘the shadow pt1’ & ‘new time new place’) and in situations where Time isn’t there Warriors steps up and takes charge (‘Divine Dark Reflections pt8’ and ‘Sunset pt4-5’). In Sunset in particular we see him displaying a huge range of his leadership abilities; he stays with Twilight when Time and Sky are speaking, convinces Twilight to leave the battlefield, fills in the group upon return and send Four and Hyrule ahead once he learns about Life, takes control of the battlefield and comes up with a plan. Even when Wild deviates from the plan, Warriors again demonstrates his leadership abilities by putting aside the lecture and focusing on solving the problem of the leftover monsters.

And even when he’s not in battle he’s able to take things seriously and read the room. In ‘Memories pt1’ Twilight and Time subtly try to move the group along to spare Wild when the champion gets stuck in his head. Warriors picks up on it immediately, even without knowing the specifics, and helps herd Wind away. And in ‘Heroes Legacy’ he notices Time being quieter than normal and asks about it. He’s so much more emotionally intelligent than he gets credit for.

There’s also this thing in the fandom about him thinking titles are important? Like, respecting someone more if they are a knight or something. And that’s baloney, actually, because Wars canonically does not give a shit. He doesn’t care about formalities (‘Doodles 6’) nor that Hyrule isn’t officially a knight (‘Divine Dark Reflection pt8’). He doesn’t seem to care about any titles, actually, based on his discussion with Legend in ‘The Bet’:
