My list of Adam ships♡ n my opinion bout them (also fics rec :D)

Adam x Luicfer (Adamsapple/Duitarduck) 10/10

Need i say more:)))??!?! started out as a "haha funny slip-up ship" to "hey they got really good angst potential". The friends/lovers to enemies to lovers is STRONG with this one n i am eating up everything i could found on ao3. Smth bout this macho-ass man finally getting to stay back n not take charge for once feel nice, also princess Adam supermacy wooooo. Whoever came up with the ship name i applaud u cause that's like a 3 layers name(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

It's not an Adamsapple fic without Adam having at least 1 mental breakdown n Lucifer have his guilt eating him alive:)))

Very fucked up torture but i swear it worth the pain:D The dove is so dead it start to rot so plz read the tags properly (plz check out the AngeliaDark other works too they got good shit)

He convince her to chill tf out n not to burst a blood vessel, she keep him on track n make sure Sera dont come on their asses)

Hell the dude was heartbroken after L left , starting the abandonment issues, so he would have cling to Eve, doing everything so that he aint alone again, even if that mean leaving Eden

But after seeing the art side of this ship im chillin with them now, since the art r pretty wholesome, usually having them decked out in punk-rock clothings hanging out. It's a big "Fuck you" to Lucifer n i live for these mf argueing ╰(*°▽°*)╯

So uhhh stay away from the fics if ya want an actual functional couple instead of wtv messed up shit we got there:))) But here's a fic anyway, the only one where it feel bearable n actual trynna go into said messed up relationship i already warn you

A hum escaped the young woman, while she took one finale glance at her doing, “Erm… can I offer you anything while you’re here already? Water? Something else to drink?”.

Just anything, so you don’t immediately go? - were the unspoken words, that would not leave her throat. Whenever they met, it seemed like he would suddenly vanish afterwards for such a long time. Was it because of her? Was she so unbearable? Or was it just coincidence?

He just wanted her to be happy - but Archons help him it was always so difficult to walk away from her side...

The Amazing Digital Circus: Guardian AU

My TADC AU is now up and running! I will be making a poster, character cards, general art, and possibly comics based around the storyline. Here’s the information!:

Description:

Caine is the ringmaster and ruler of The Amazing Digital Circus, but there are some things that even he can’t control. NPCs go rogue all the time, often acting out and trying to genuinely hurt the circus members as they go on adventures. Because of this, Caine has always appointed two circus members he deems the most worthy to protect him and others from danger. They have been different over the years (mainly due to abstractions), but currently Jax and Ragatha are his Guardians. The two of them are more privileged than the regular circus members: they are allowed to wield weapons, swear, indulge in vices, and the like as long as they do so in private, do their jobs well, and don’t disrupt the "family-friendly" atmosphere of the circus. Caine trusts them…or so he says. And to make matters worse, it looks like NPCs are forming an uprising to overthrow Caine, led by none other than a revived Gummigoo! Travel through the colorful world of TADC, but covered in a grimy layer of violence, corruption, and deception.

Can I make fanart?

Yes, fanart is encouraged and always appreciated! Just make sure to credit me as the creator when needed. What are the religious themes?

Christianity. I am a Christian myself, but I also really enjoy religious horror and researching different religions. Does Pomni represent Jesus in this story? Not really. But, I will be using themes/images of Christianity (like angels, for example) to enhance the horror. I also like studying Japanese and Chinese mythological figures, purely out of interest. I will never try to push my beliefs onto the audience in any way. People can believe in whatever they want!

Are there any ships?

Bunnydoll (Jax x Ragatha) is the main ship. It is mostly implied/referenced and nothing overly romantic happens. The story focuses on their emotional bond since they are both Caine’s guardians. If you don’t like the ship, please don’t be rude to people who do. And if you do like the ship, don’t be rude to people who don’t! There’s enough hate on the internet already. Just be mindful that we all like different things, and have fun!

How will the story be told?

Through comics, probably. It’s easier for me to write things in a document (as a script) and then draw, so it will take time. I will also make art on the side that may or may not have canon information or events. It depends.

What inspired you?

The 70s (lots of yellow, orange and brown colors), Skinnamarink, religious horror, vintage Las Vegas, vintage snacks, and other random stuff. I have specific inspirations for different characters. But my inspiration to even start this project is definitely @/burrotello and The Amazing Digital Fight Club AU. It’s awesome!

Can I ask questions about characters, the story, etc?

Yes, but if it’s an answer I don’t want to reveal yet…well, we’ll see what happens. Sometimes, I will make drawings where a character reacts or responds!

sooo i decided to TRY and participate in objectober 2024, because these are. good motivators and stuff i guess and good ideas so i dont have to keep cramming ideas in,, thiugh. i do have a lot my heads gonna explode probably…its long so, cut! DAY 1: OBJECTSONA grenade counts, right? i think people would just do whatever oc. anyway, angel grenade!!! i love grenade with religious imagery/themes/whatever!! (again, despite my very love/hate relationship with religion,, eapecially catholicism.) did you know that yesterday, when i drew this, waa guardian angel day?? I DIDNT KNOW THAT?? pretty ironic if you ask me!! can you guys imagine grenade as a guardian angel? whom would they guard? okay ill stop rambling now ALSO NO LINEART!!! all my homies HATE LINEART!!! (really only rei and milly but…)

DAY 2: FAVORITE SHIP okay, i dont really have a favorite ship, but i love these two dearly. theyre shoer underrated. the coloring made it feel like i used crayons,, which. i like drawing with crayons btw bcuz im a loser. mop really loves his boyfriend…hes a bit obvious about it i liked the circle btw. it was a good cricle i wanted to keep it ☹️

So, I've seen a lot of these floating around over the years and they all seem to have the same dozen fics on them, so I want to try and highlight some of the lesser known fics in this fandom I love alongside some of the more well-known ones. (Note: I have done my best to avoid reccing more than three/four fics by the same person to make sure plenty of authors make it onto the list, not just the popular ones)

Rating: T Ships: Magluck, YamiFin Length: 14k An AU where Magna, Vanessa, and Finral are all petty criminals in Clover City, and the rest of the Black Bulls are police. They're pretty harmless and more irritating than anything else. Still, the law is the law. But until Clover City Police Department manage to get hard evidence of their crimes, they're off the hook - at least as far as Police Captain Yami Sukehiro is concerned. Though, this is the first time Magna has actually had to use Plan C.

The Dragon and the Mage by CloversDreams

Rating: T Ships: MagLuck Length: 7k Every few days like clockwork the hotheaded mage showed up and challenged him to a fight. Luck hadn’t turned him down once. No matter how many times he lost, or Luck broke those silly glasses he wore, the guy always declared he’d return. And he did. Luck had started to anticipate his arrival. Their battles were a surprising amount of fun. The mage learned from all their previous scuffles and tried to trip him up, but Luck’s battle instinct was on a level all its own. He wouldn’t lose. It was probably around the six or seventh time that Luck actually greeted the mage with a ‘hello, human’. He was immediately attacked with a fireball and told not to call the guy that. Luck smiled from ear to ear as he easily dodged the flames. He moved lightning fast until he was nose to nose with the mage. He had a wild look in his wide eyes when he asked what he should call the human then. A grin spread across his face when he actually received an answer. Then he sent the guy flying backwards with one punch. This ordeal continued for weeks and Luck hadn’t tired of it yet. Humans were boring. Except for one. Luck rather liked the tenacious fire mage called Magna.

Of Course It's You by CloversDreams

Rating: T Ships: MagLuck Length: 4k Soulmates. The idea was a whisper which traveled along a breeze that stopped every now and again to tell its tale to random passersby. The concept was so obscure these days that it was nearly forgotten to history. Those that did recall never spoke of it. Most brushed it off without a second thought. The idea wasn’t widely recognized since society deemed it ridiculous. And for good reason, too. According to the whispers upon the wind, soulmarks didn’t activate until the pair fell in love. Ridiculous. Absolute nonsense. Whose brilliant idea was that?

(A while back on tumblr I posted a YamiFin headcanon about Finral secretly being a little shit, and this is the fic-child of that headcanon. Basically, the Keeping Score ficverse is a bunch of oneshots wherein Yami and Finral start out as friends who mess with each other as a running joke, and eventually become lovers who mess with each other as a running joke.)

Summary: Yayyy first Eric fic!! Gil keeps encountering a mysterious but well-meaning stranger. Tonight, they spend significant time together. CWs for food mentions, brief death mention, brief implied suggestiveness.

Gil was in the usual place he could be expected on a Friday evening— the cramped, smoky lobby of the Bronze Inn. It was an apartment complex before the rent got too high, then it ironically became a budget hotel. He looked at the digital clock beside the register. 7:34pm shone solidly back at him. Above his head, two tenants slept. A third, whose exit date was rapidly approaching, hadn’t been seen since they entered.

Gil ruled that they were, realistically, dead, but he wasn’t about to go up there and find out. They were just about to call it a night when the door creaked open, letting in a gust of freezing rain.

“How many nights?” It asked without looking up from their magazine.

“Just the one, I think.”

Their gaze flicked up. Past their spotty glasses, they caught a familiar glimpse. He straightened up and cleared his throat. “Have you been following me?”

The man who had entered smiled behind his pale facepaint. “Ever heard of coincidence?”

Gil hummed. “Too much coincidence and I think they call it intentional. Who are you?”

The man half-bowed. “Simply a travelling showman, my good sir.”

“Yeah, right.” His stomach growled and he sighed, rubbing his face underneath his glasses.

“Why don’t we ditch this place and fill up the fuel tank?”

They looked around. “Well… alright.” They bent down and retrieved a folded sign from under the desk, placing it on top. Gone on Smoke Break- Clerk Will Return Shortly. He then grabbed his coat and came up beside the stranger. “Beats sleeping on an empty stomach.”

The stranger gave him a sympathetic look as they set out into the dreary night. Gil pulled up his hood, following the dark-haired man to what was essentially a shack on a corner. It had a large window open to the street and a counter where customers could sit. Inside, it was as if someone had carved a kitchen out of a more traditional restaurant and plopped it on the side of the road. The sign on top of the shack read Maxi-Dogs. Gil ordered a cheeseburger and a cherry cola, happy to fill his ornery stomach.

“You’re not going to get anything?” He asked of the stranger, who put his hand up dismissively.

“I already ate. And don’t worry about paying, it’s on me.”

Gil couldn’t help but still feel cynical. He sighed and set down his sandwich. “Alright, what is it that you want?”

“What do you mean?”

“You’re being awfully cordial to me… trust me, I’m just a bellhop. I don’t do any of that backdoor stuff…”

The stranger frowned, putting a firm but comforting hand on Gil’s arm. “Hey. I’m not that kind of guy. I promise.” His tone was soft and insistent, his gaze painfully sincere. Quietly, they went back to eating. “Do they still show movies in this dump?” The stranger continued when they were finished.

“Theater’s been closed for years, stranger,” Gil almost chuckled. “Do you live under a rock?”

He smiled. “Something like that. Well, come on.”

Before Gil could ask what he was up to, they were being led away from the food stall. As the rain grew heavier, Gil let the man rush him to the old abandoned theater.

“I told you, it’s closed!” Gil shouted over the downpour. He watched the man climb a ladder on the side of the building before forcing open a nearby window. He waved them inside and they sighed, following him and landing in a dark projector room. As their eyes adjusted to the lack of light, they saw the stranger digging through a box of film. “You know, I’ve got to get back to work at some point… I’m the only one there tonight, and I only get a few hours of sleep as it is.”

“I’ll pick a short one. It’ll be good for you.”

Gil gave him a questioning look he couldn’t have seen in the shadows. “I’ll find us some seats,” it sighed, blindly leaving the room. As it felt around, it tried to wrack its brain on if it knew the man it’d spent the evening with. Other than seeing him around before and having the briefest of interactions, it knew nothing about him. He seemed strangely kind for the world Gil lived in. It was hard to believe it was at all genuine. The screen suddenly flickered to life as the stranger wiped dust and cobwebs away from the projector’s lens. He joined them shortly in a back row as a Pop-Eye film began to play. Gil pushed back his hood.

“Can’t believe this all still works… too bad the speakers aren’t hooked up,” they commented after a beat. They then looked to the stranger. “Can’t you at least tell me your name, if you aren’t going to tell me why you’re so interested in me?”

The stranger hesitated, eyes locked on the screen, his jaw slightly slanted. Finally, he looked at them, again with those purely dutiful eyes. “It’s Eric. And I’m interested in you because you’re… special.”

“Eric,” Gil repeated. They both redirected their attention to the silent animation. As it went on, Gil felt exhaustion settling in their body, their vision blurring as they struggled to keep their eyes open. Giving in, they found themself leaning against Eric’s shoulder.

“You can close your eyes, Starchild… I’ve got you.” Eric spoke softly, then looked up as his raven friend flew in through the open window. “Let’s make sure he gets home safe.”
