matt sturniolo x singer! reader
warnings: smutttt, p in v, unprotected sex, semi-public sex, grinding
a/n: hope you enjoyyyy <33
“thank you guys so much for all the support and coming out here tonight” i said into the microphone.
the audience members replied with deafening applause and cheers.
i laughed into the microphone, still soaking in this unreal experience.
i had gotten about halfway through my set, and now was just taking a quick breather.
“i also wanted to give a huge thank you to my best friends, for always being there for me and constantly showering me with love and support” i said as i glanced over to the triplets.
best friends. well, two of them were my best friends. matt, however, was more than that to me.
we were dating, but we hadn’t told the fans yet, not wanting to deal with the hate that would most likely come with it.
but the fans aren’t dumb.
due to their insane attention to details, they were easily able to pick up on the feelings that matt and i had for one another. they just didn’t know that we’ve acted on them.
once i put out my first album of songs, titled chemistry, the fans quickly realized i was with someone. they had their suspicions, but i never confirmed that it was about matt.
most of the tracks on the album were love songs that i wrote over the years. they weren’t even necessarily for matt, i just wrote them whenever i was overwhelmed by my feelings for him and needed a way to get them out.
song writing helped me to process my feelings, and it just so happens that matt takes up almost every thought in my brain.
“i wouldn’t have made it this far without you guys and i’ll never truly be able to put into words how grateful i am” i said while looking at the boys in the VIP section.
in response, nick smiled and blew kisses while recording the interaction, like a proud mom at their child’s performace; chris did an awkward happy dance and screamed “we love you!” , and matt sat there with a lovesick look on his face and a shit-eating grin.
after a few more, we got to my favorite song on the setlist.
“this next song, literally just came out and is already doing so well, and i thank you for that” i was met with more applause.
after introducing the song, the first few chords played and then stopped, teasing the audience.
they went wild. after a few seconds, the intro really started to play.
MATT’S POV
i been knowing you for long enough
damn, i need you right now
she looks so good. her outfit was tight, fitting her in all the right places and accentuating her curves.
you can take your time, don’t have to rush
this might take us a while
she sounds incredible live. her voice is smooth as she effortlessly slides through the runs, never missing a note.
i left all the doors unlocked and you said you’re on your way
when you get here don’t you say a word, got no time to play
she might genuinely be a siren, luring me in with her seductive, yet somehow sweet and innocent-sounding voice. her tone is crystal clear and it almost makes me want to cry.
we can go all the time
we can move fast, then rewind
when you put your body on mine
and collide, collide
she starts to sway her hips to the beat, and i genuinely think i might lose it.
wanna see your body on mine
and collide, collide
her skin is coated with a light layer of sweat, making her body glisten under the lights. she looks like a goddess.
baby it’s all yours if you want me,
all yours if you want me
she looked directly at me when she sang this line, and the feeling of the intense eye contact went straight to my dick.
put it down if you want me tonight
she smirked lightly, no doubt enjoying how red my face was turning. she knows what she’s doing.
she made her way through the song, continuing to tease me. she would slowly run a hand down her body or lean forward to sing to the crowd, giving me a perfect view of her breasts.
god, they look like they’re gonna fall out of her top.
when she got to the bridge, i swear the sound of her voice alone almost made my eyes roll back.
i know that this is love when we touch boy
you got my heart
and can’t nobody make me feel like you do
boy like you do
the fact that there was so much tension between us, despite being so far away was driving me crazy.
it could be one of those nights
where we don’t turn off the lights
wanna see your body on mine and collide, collide
i could listen to the sound of her voice for the rest of my life.
i love it when she talks, when she laughs, when she sings, when she moans.
i swear when she hits certain notes, it almost sounds like she’s moaning. but no one else knows that, because i’m the only one who pulls those sounds from her pretty mouth.
those pretty lips, always soft and glossy, perfect for kissing.
by this point, my dick was throbbing as it pressed against my jeans.
said it’s all yours if you want me,
all yours if you want me
put it down if you want me
let’s collide
her head fell back as she finished the last note, basking in the endless amounts of applause she received.
her neck looks so pretty, i need to kiss it.
she looks up at me again, moving her tongue across her teeth.
yeah, she’s definitely doing this on purpose.
the further she got through her setlist, the more turned on i was.
her tits bounced when she jumped around during her upbeat songs.
at one point, she was full-on twerking. she threw her ass in a circle, her skirt riding up the slightest bit. i fully thought i was going to cum in my pants.
after she finished the last song, she began to adjust her skirt while she gave her closing speech. when she moved her hand, i saw the waistband of her panties peek through.
waistband, if you could even call it that. it became evident that she was wearing a g-string under her skirt.
i completely zoned out of what she was saying, too focused on all of the filthy thoughts that began to flood my mind.
before i knew it, there was another round of applause before she walked off of the stage.
suddenly, my phone buzzed in my pocket.
READER POV
after a few minutes, i heard a knock on my dressing room door.
i opened the door to reveal matt and i quickly pulled him in before closing and locking the door.
“hi baby” i whispered.
“hi my love” he said before placing a gentle kiss on my lips.
“you did amazing, baby. and you sound better and better every time you sing”
i looked down bashfully, the corner of my lips turning up into a grin. “thanks”
he placed his finger under my chin, pushing it up to look at him.
“ you shy now, baby? didn’t seem like it when you were shaking your ass on that stage”
i glanced at his lips before looking back up at his eyes.
“you liked that, baby?” i asked as i turned around, moving my hair over my shoulder.
i began to grind on him, moving my ass on his hard dick.
“fuck yes, baby. shittt” he groaned as one of his hands wrapped around my waist, the other moving to grab my boob through my top.
the hand that was around my waist moved under my panties, gently rubbing my clit.
“fuckkkk matt” i sighed out, my head pressing against the door.
his breathing got heavy as he rutted his hips against my ass, pushing his face into the crook of my neck.
“talk to me baby, please. gotta here that pretty voice” he choked out as his voice got slightly higher in pitch.
“ yeah baby? like the way my ass feels against your bulge? want me to twerk on you?” before he could answer, i bent over slightly.
my skirt inched up, exposing my ass and making his fully erect cock dig into it.
“fuck! you can’t do that, baby. i’m gonna cum”
“take these off for me” i said, pulling on his jeans.
he quickly complied, unbuckling his belt and pulling them off while i turned around to face him.
he swiftly picked me up, bringing me over to a vanity and placing me down on top of it.
my back was pressed up against the mirror, which was cool against my burning skin.
he brought his lips to mine in a hot, desperate kiss.
his hands crept under my skirt, pulling my panties off without breaking the kiss.
he smoothly pocketed them before collecting my wetness with his finger, using it as a lubricant to push his digit inside of me.
“shit, matt” i moaned out as he fucked me with his finger.
i reached down between us, stroking his length through his boxers.
he added another finger, stretching me out.
“oh my god, matt. so fucking good” my eyebrows furrowed as i leaned my forehead against his.
“gotta make sure my princess is nice and stretched, never wanna hurt you” he spoke between grunts.
i moved my fingers to the waistband of his boxers, tugging them down and watching his dick slap his stomach.
his tip was red and covered in pre-cum.
he removed his fingers from my aching pussy while i pumped him a few times, before guiding him inside of me.
we both groaned at the feeling of my walls squeezing him as i took him inch by inch.
he gave me a minute to adjust before thrusting into me deep and hard.
i screamed his name, probably loud enough for anyone outside of the room to hear.
“yes baby, lemme hear that gorgeous voice. god, i love hearing you say my name”
matt pushed his hips up into mine with full force, his hands on my waist to hold me steady.
“you feel so good wrapped around me like this baby. you’re so good” he whispered.
he pushed me into the mirror with each thrust, producing a loud thud each time it hit the wall.
the vanity shook under me as he kept up his relentless pace.
matt took my legs and hooked them over his shoulder, continuing to ram into me.
i felt my orgasm approaching, and i grabbed onto matt’s biceps, needing something to hold onto.
“matt matt matt, i’m gonna cum!” i yelled frantically.
“me too, give it to me baby. wanna feel you dripping down my cock” his words sent me over the edge.
with a final cry i released all over him, while he filled me up.
he thrusted a few more times, helping us ride out our highs before pulling out.
“god damn” i whispered out as we watched our juices spill out of me.
“you’re so fucking amazing” he said as he cleaned us up.
after we got dressed and made our appearances look somewhat presentable we stepped out of the dressing room.
“where are your brothers?” i asked with furrowed brows.
i pulled out my phone and saw a text from nick.
we’re going outside to wait. we can hear you freaky fucks from across the venue.
matt and i looked at each other and bursted out laughing.

Hola Ailo!!!! The recap that you did ask for is here(a little bit late sorry but still counts), Louis show at the Victorious Festival:
Festival poster.
As you saw but still will link some pics because he look gorgeous, Louis wore full black with a cap 🫠 and the barricade photo I show you that deserves to be link again haha.
🚨Highlight of the recap shirtless Steve is back!!! Thank you Steve 🚨 (no idea if that is a highlight for you but it wouldn't be a recap of me without that important info).
His family was there, here is a cute video of Lottie, other with Olive and other with Lucky.
Seems like the weather was cold, because Mr. Weather Man comment about it and also was doing some arms and hands gestures a few times to said that he was cold, poor Louis, but hey we thank him for showing a tank top.
He said this sweet quote and mention that it was his first festival in the UK.
Here he was interacting with a fan but I wonder what the sign said.
Louis instagram story.
Some observations about the live:-Hands up and down during kill my mind instead of kmm lights (like this other time that they did it in other festival), seems like is a tradition now and I love it.
-You can see his family on the side of the stage moving to the rhythm.
-Fans were yelling I love you Louis and he was smiling.
-He was interacting with a lot of fans, was very smiley and so confident. It was lovely seeing him like this.
He also sign a doncaster bear of a fan I guess maybe after the show I don't know.
For your Nouis' heart, Louis give a like to a video of Niall and Ed Sheeran singing Little Things (here is the full video) on today's show of Niall, they also sing Lego House (there was no live 😑, we just have to listen after it was sad but still beautiful).
Louis took a shot backstage with Phoebe and Daisy.
I already share it but still, the short setlist 11 songs rip 7 😭.
The crowd look huge, I'm so proud of him.
Here is the live in case you want to watch it.
And that is it for the baby recap. I'm probably missing some things but is what I could do, I was very busy with Niall's updates so I didn't pay much attention to everything that was shared yet.
Let me know what you think, I love reading reactions of the recaps :)
I hope you have a lovely day. Here is a spanish phrase for you: Te mando un abrazo.
Oh wow CC 🤩🤩🤩 this is amazing!! Thank you so much!! 😘 Even though I did request it (as I’m in the alps, no wifi, and quite some fandom fomo), the feeling of getting a recap is… so unexpectedly heartwarming! 🥰 It made me sing We Made It “sayin’ goodbye, wavin’ to the hard times” to the mountains this morning, as you really make me feel so included!!
I love the outfit as a whole: it works!! I’m glad you sent a photo of the cap, I would’ve missed the “mauled by a dragon” aspect of it otherwise. 🤪
Weatherman Louis 🥶 lives in an entirely different climate than Steve 🥵! And the shivering pic… is gonna be a favourite of mine!! It’s convincing me that it must’ve been freezing 😎
Aww… the mini Tomlinsons!! 🥹 They do bring a cuteness factor that we don’t often see. And I can’t believe how big Olive is! Can that really be?!?🤔🤔
I love that the kmm hands are back: you know the Louies are in the crowd when…!!
I’m guessing the sign was one of those “please write me a tattoo” or something requests… and Louis didn’t wanna explain that he’s working, day job etc again… so he just says “how?” in THAT voice… wow! 🫠 Good of you to include that!! 🤭
Mini but fun setlist! Face the Music surviving every cut is a surprise to me, but hey… not my day job 🫢
And thanks for the bigger picture: Niall singing Little Things with Ed! Yeah! And Louis liking it!! Now c’mon boys…!! Just a little click, babe!
So much more to say but the kids & mountains are calling. Schöne Grüße aus den Bergen!
Und herzlichen Dank für die tolle Zusammenfassung!! 🫶🫶🫶

That timeline makes me wonder where HS fit into it all or if he even did during those years outside of writing songs about each other.
I don't think they seemed that close in the 2021 and 2023 grammys. To me, the interaction looked like they hadn't talked in a long time but that's just the feeling I got from it.
I also remember when he wore the midnights coded outfit I think the same night she wore the midnights dress during the 2022 VMA's afterparty. Not sure if that was a coincidence or if they had gotten in contact around that time.
The most confusing thing was what happened once her breakup became public. He was single then and instead she got with MH? With them both being available for the first time in years, you would've thought they would've jumped at the opportunity based on all the songs written throughout the years.
Hi Anon
That timeline is about her break up with Joe, Harry stuff is in this timeline. I don't think she left Joe for Harry, or that they even dated in 2021.
My pure speculation is that 'The 1' and 'Late Night Talking' did happen while they were both in LA in the pandemic. She didn't want to break up with Joe, so H went back to Europe. In California Harry refers to a 'Summer's death left to breath'. Love of my Life is about letting her go, it was written early 2021.
He approached her, in public, at the 2021 Grammys, (which is unlike him) it was maybe an olive branch and it was the first time they spoke in public since 2012 - who could blame them for being tense.
In May 2021 they were both at the Brits, no photos together, Joe was in Belfast. Seems like nothing - were it not for for Glitch.
By October 2021 he made heart eyes high in the crowd in Nashville, changed that setlist to include TBSL. It was the day after one of their anniversaries. She was in Nashville. While there, he wrote Satellite at Cave Studio - the song says 'I can see you're lonely, don't you know that I am right here'. Then matching outfits for re-records started.
Then 'You're losing me' written in December. HH came out in March 2022, Joe interacts stopped. I also assume she was at the NY ONO show, she was in NY. H touring and dating OW until October 2022. Midnights has songs on it that imply they had spent time together.
The 2023 Grammys was even more public because it was a full audience, she came over to him, knowing it would be on the internet. They touched, fist bumped, hugged, held eye contact. He touched the bare skin on her back. Which.... he 'should think about the consequence of touching her hand in a darkened room'.
That timeline has Matt Healy on it too. .... Taylor and Tree would have had the Joever announcement well planned, Invisible String on the setlist and all, and considered who she publicly dates first after. People were really invested in Joe, that announcement was for the fans, not Taylor.
Again speculation, but I think they think of each other as End Game and maybe aren't ready for that. But if they were, she wouldn't go public with a very famous, very divisive relationship lightly, quickly or as the first after Joe. Although I do think think in 1989 vaults and media have given them an updated fan temperature on it.

— and the members talked for a while just among themselves again
— seohyun: the people here that aren’t sones probably don’t know who we are
— you can always trust seohyun to be practical
— harin: then they can search you😐
— you can always trust harin to be blunt
— but they did end up introducing themselves bcs duh!
— and then they started walking off stage to let harin continue her concert but she stopped them
— harin: sit there *points at a little section of the stage where there are cushions to sit on*
— sooyoung, teasing: why? do you miss us already?
— harin: i want you there🙄 ur presence is comforting🙄🙄🙄
— seohyun, dragging everyone to sit down: unnie, i’m blushing🤭🤭
— and harin is just rolling her eyes but whats new?
— back to scheduled programming
— the encore continued like it normally does
— and her ending ment had people crying
— harin: this brings us near the end of the concert, just two more songs. thank you for coming and spending time with me tonight. i hope this was a good experience for you, see you tomorrow if you’ll be here tomorrow. and thank you to my angels over here, of course. i already told you when you arrived, but just having you on stage with me gives me a lot of strength, comfort, and peace of mind. let’s share many more stages together in the future
— and miss girl didn’t give the translator any time to translate it bcs she wasn’t saying it to the crowd, she was saying it to the members and they all knew what she was saying
— she fully went to the members’ little nook when singing my only love bcs who else is her only love🤨🤨🤨
— and then goodnight everyone!

Recap: Tomorrow X Together makes its mark on DC during 'Act: Sweet Mirage' world tour
It may have been Tomorrow X Together's first time performing in Washington D.C., but it's safe to say the group left a lasting impact on the nation's capital after their concert on May 16, leaving fans eagerly waiting for their return. The five-member K-pop boy group made its fourth stop on the U.S. leg of the "Act: Sweet Mirage" world tour at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. on Tuesday.
Before Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai even made their way on stage, the fans – lovingly referred to as "MOA" – were already full of high energy and spirit. Lightsticks, pickets and signs adorned the practically full arena, and cheers and chants immediately broke out when the boys finally hit the stage.
Tomorrow X Together is no stranger to lively and passionate performances, having countless since the group's debut in 2019. And the "Act: Sweet Mirage" tour furthers cements Tomorrow X Together's spot as leaders in South Korea's music scene.
From energetic and dazzling sets to entertaining interactions between Tomorrow X Together and MOA, here are some highlights from the group's first show in Washington D.C.
A journey through TXT's discography
The "Act: Sweet Mirage" tour setlist showcases the vastness of Tomorrow X Together's musical concepts. Youthfulness remains at the group's core with each of its songs showcasing the nuances of what it means to grow up.
"Blue Hour" served as the perfect start. Dressed in princely attire, it felt like the members were inviting MOA into their kingdom (a castle in the background included). Once the boys took on the fan-favorite dance break and confetti rung throughout the arena, the night's journey truly had begun.
Each section of songs had its own feel – a different atmosphere and tone, but still quintessentially Tomorrow X Together. "Drama" and "No Rules" brought a youthful energy with the members changing into jerseys and playfully tossing around a basketball.
From the whimsy and fun of "Magic" to the angsty, rock-style of "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)" and "LO$ER=LO♡ER," Tomorrow X Together transitioned from song to song with different emotions and new outfits.
The group fit 25 songs into the night and never slowed the momentum. Even during the performances without choreography, like "Anti-Romantic," the members' voices carried to emotional heights, highlighting their seemingly unshakable talents.
And no Tomorrow X Together show would be complete without the fan- and group-favorite "Cat & Dog," which had the arena erupt in barks with the outro: "Let's play forever, I just wanna be your dog."
An outpour of love from TXT to MOA and back
The connection between Tomorrow X Together and MOA (which stands for "moments of alwaysness") was so palpable that anyone in the arena's vicinity could just feel the love and support in the air.
"We are finally together," said Soobin during the show. "Thank you so much for making our dream a reality." Yeonjun echoed those sentiments, "I think MOA is the whole reason we keep going."
At one point, the group brought out lightsticks, and each member took a section and showed off different movements, all which exemplified the respective member's personalities.
Yeonjun got the crowd moving even more by teaching the "Happy Fools" dance. The members then went to different sections to watch MOA perform, highlighting some audience members on a big screen.
“I will cherish every moment I spent together with MOA in my heart,” said Hueningkai toward the concert's end.
“As always, our MOAs did not disappoint from start to finish,” said Beomgyu. “You’re the best.”

se me olvida q nos podemos hablar en español... IGUAL, COMO ESTUVO EL CONCIERTO !!! Detalles... fotos .. videos POR FAVOR 😭😭😭 review
AHHH SI ES CIERTO! wowww que hermoso poder hablar en español también amo <3 but i'll just post this in english so everyone can understand it. honestly? it was hands down the best kpop concert i've been to hfksjdkkf (others i've seen were blackpink, nct 127 and loona) so it might not be a lot but holy shit. the crowd went APESHIT it was by far the best crowd for me and i think the best they have seen cause they said it too hfkdjfkg 😭 they sold out the venue and you could tell it was packed cause the energy was OFF THE WALLS....
so first the good things
in terms of their performance: man aespa have surely worked hard to beat the no stage presence allegations. i think you could really tell they've been on tour since the beginning of this year cause they have improved SOOO MUCH. they have developed a lot of crowd control skills and they truly interacted with us in there. giselle specially is a MASTER at interaction and i think the group benefits a lot from her
the vocals were great cause the backing track wasn't too loud and they did handheld mics for most of the setlist. ningning was working OVERTIME with the adlibs. winter did extended high notes for everything. they were so confident in their vocals it was amazing to see. there were no in-ear or sound issues as far as i could tell and the venue while not being the best acoustic wise it didn't mess with the experience. i do wanna say i'm sad there was no live band :( everything was just a recorded track
lastly PRODUCTION. oh man. OHHH MAN. this tour has a BUDGET cause the visuals were fucking lit 🔥 the whole stage setup was so good and the props were there, winter with the electric guitar is a HIGH point in this. in my experience there arent a lot of kpop groups that put so much thought into their design like this and aespa were milking tf out of the cybercore and kwangya concept cause the vcrs and screens were giving blade runner. i was mesmerized by the visuals in the screens
for the not so great things... I think their costume design was lacking so much 😭 there weren't a lot of costume changes and the outfits were pretty basic. they lacked cohesiveness and even for their solos it did feel like they just threw on whatever. SM insists on putting them in ugly ass school uniforms for like the entire last part of the set. and they use the shortest fucking skirt for ningning it makes me nauseous.
another weak point was the dancing. it simply didn't stand out as much as the rest of the stuff i mentioned but tbh the girls still put on a good show. they did full choreo for their biggest songs and the backup dancers helped elevate it a lot but a lot of the bsides didn't have or needed choreo you know? like im content with seeing them sing a great song rather than have them jump around the stage trying to do a bunch of choreo we don't even know. the moves were kinda meh and i get it cause they're bsides but yeah just stick to the full choreo for the title tracks.
but speaking of dancing, karina was SOOO good her solo was insane and she has truly improved so much as a main dancer! ningning blew us all out with her stuff too ngl that girl is the best dancer in the group after karina. bonus points for giselle as well cause she has definitely put in the work to become a better dancer and i appreciate how much she has improved her stage presence.
ok this got too long already hkdjdkkfg so i'll just leave some pics i took here! and ill go through my camera roll to see what's good enough to post later <3

My unpopular opinion might be controversial but it's that they are all perfect angels. Who’s with me girls! 😀
For real tho, I have a lot lol. Here’s a list of just some:
They should have ended the TDOPOM era. It feels like it’s unnecessarily being dragged out. Fells like it’s just happening because they had promised a deluxe edition early on. With the amount of time that has been since the release, they should have closed that chapter and focused on something completely new.
In line with the what I just said, their live shows have gone stale. Much like The Drain, it’s incredibly repetitive now. Same visuals, same outfits, same setlist give or take 2 songs, and same boring vibe. Like go off kings, go on and give us nothing!
Again, adding one to my previous opinion, their stage presence isn’t the best. I’ll give props where it’s due tho… Noah and Folio seem to be the most into it during their shows. We have seen a few but rare instances from Ruffilo but very rare. They are kind of just standing there and don’t really engage with the crowd in the way some other bands do regardless if they are the singer or not.
Speaking of the singer, Noah's lack of crowd work is painful to witness at times. Like interact a bit more. We get it, you want to remain cool and mysterious but for some people this may be the first or only time their seeing your band and wouldn’t you them to feel included or like wow that was a totally different experience than just sitting at home and listening to the album and not just omg the lead singer is so hot on stage. IMO, that is why the crowd is sometimes a bit dead kinda just starring cause they give back the same energy that the band gives out.

Falling In Reverse at Zoo Amphitheatre, OKC, 7/18/2023
Falling In Reverse's next Popular MonsTour venue, after festivals RockFest and Upheavals were Little Rock/AR and OKC/OK, on 7/17-18/2023.
Due to the heat in OKC, Ronnie and FIR band dropped their glitter suits for an evening and changed to a much comfortable stage outfit.
Via Instagram
They performed the usual setlist. Ronnie was very talkative that evening, lots of videos were made about him joking and interacting with the crowd.
youtube
Thanks to the hot weather and the boyish outfit Ronnie could present his latest beautiful leg tattoos live to the audience.
Via Instagram
One popular video is when he gives out water to the crowd. There were many people passing out in the audience, the venue was outdoor, the heat over 100°F, the whole show had a kind of camaraderie feeling, people in the need.
Via Twitter
Another popular video is when Ronnie receives a bracelet from a little girl in the crowd. Of course the usual jokes were not left behind.
youtube
After the OKC show they were about to have a 2 days break before the double concert to be held in Las Vegas, NV. Those will be 2 sold out shows and FIR are waiting for them with gratitude in advance.

The Moment I Saw IU: A Concert Diary
Date: August 2, 2024
Location: The Kia Forum
It was a regular Friday morning — except it wasn’t. The day I had been eagerly waiting for had finally arrived: the IU concert! I’ve been a fan of IU since I was 11 years old. Her music has meant so much to me over the years — comforting me during my darkest times, soothing me when I was sad, and encouraging me to keep moving forward. That morning, I could barely contain my excitement. To prepare for the concert, I even spent months making bracelets and keychains to trade with other fans.
The ticketing experience, however, was a nightmare. IU is known for selling out stadiums across Asia, and I don’t think she anticipated such a huge turnout for her North American tour. She chose smaller venues for the tour, but when I entered the queue, there were already 60,000 people waiting. The ticketing process felt like a battleground — blood, sweat, and tears were shed just to get my ticket. My friends and I, along with our parents, tried our best to secure tickets for all of us. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we didn’t succeed. I was heartbroken and disappointed. In the end, we had to purchase resale tickets, but thankfully, we didn’t pay an unreasonable price.
For the concert, purple and florals were the theme. I struggled a bit when picking my outfit because I tend to overthink clothing choices. In the end, I decided on a purple floral dress paired with a white tee and jeans. I wanted to stay comfortable but still dressed up, knowing it would be hot — August heat is no joke.
The only thing missing was the lightstick. For those unfamiliar with K-pop culture, most artists have their own lightsticks, which are a way for fans to show their support and feel united. The artist often coordinates the lightstick’s color with the setlist. IU’s lightstick, shaped like a microphone, is one of my favorites. My friend, who was flying in from San Francisco, attended the San Francisco stop of the tour and brought me a lightstick from that concert. We hadn’t been sure whether we’d be able to buy one at the LA stop, so I was grateful to have it in hand.
Hearing IU live was an experience beyond words. Her live vocals are unmatched, and her concert felt so intimate. She truly cares about her fans and makes sure they’re included in every aspect of the show. Since most of her set was in Korean, and the audience was largely English-speaking, she had the phonetics of the lyrics displayed on the screen so fans could follow along.
The concert lasted almost three hours and included multiple costume changes and an encore. During the encore, there was a more interactive segment where fans could suggest songs for IU to sing. One of the most memorable moments was when she performed a small snippet of her iconic song “Good Day,” despite having retired it during her Golden Hour concert. I never thought I’d hear it live again, so it was truly special. I thought I would cry at the end of the concert, but surprisingly, I managed to keep my composure. Still, my inner child felt completely healed that day.
Final Thoughts:
Attending IU’s concert was a dream come true. Although I had watched countless clips of her performances online, nothing compares to the magic of being there in person — feeling the energy of the crowd and hearing her incredible voice live. It was an adventure I’ll cherish forever, and I cant wait for the next one.
Until Next Time,
Helena

Finally watched LSF's first Coachella performance.
Overall, they did pretty great. I think it was their first time performing in that kind of setting, and expectations were high. They kept up the energy throughout the whole performance and you could see they gave it their all. I congratulate them for that.
The setlist was good, the band was good, the outfits were good, the dancers were good, but the performance was pretty simplistic. There were no big dance breaks, props, or anything out of the ordinary.
They tried their best singing, but the biggest issue with their set was obviously the vocals. They sang Antifragile as if they'd already been performing for 4 hours. Vocally that was their worst song - maybe because it was their first, I felt like they tried too hard to go for that rock sound. It was really obvious they were shouting half their lines because they didn't have the vocal stamina or technique to sing properly, and also because it fit the cool girl rock aesthetics they were trying so hard to go for. There was so much shouting. Chaewon was the biggest culprit. I heard people say she was the best of the night, but Yunjin's singing was considerably better - more natural, less shouty. Kazuha has way too many lines for someone who is such a weak vocalist, and Sakura should get more because her voice is so mild and light that it's much better to hear her vocals than Eunchae's (who tbh sounds "tone deaf"). Sakura did pretty well. She tried to project her voice and shout a little, but her voice is so light and quiet that this technique actually worked in her favor. Sakura sounded confident and stable, and she only yelled sometimes - and in those times she actually sounded hype rather than like she was yelling. But since she has few lines and they're all easy, it's not fair to compare her to the other members. She looked really pretty too though! Her shiny, long blond hair complemented the dancing really well.
To me, Eunchae was the weakest - shouted a lot, her voice is really flat, and she always looks like a deer caught in the headlights... (she's young, I know, hopefully she will improve). Sakura did well, but she didn't exactly shine with so little lines and center parts - she stood out a lot all that considered. Kazuha's vocals weren't great, but she stood out positively to me. I liked her dancing and charisma, and she was probably my favorite performer. Yunjin sang relatively well, but she was also shouty - she has the most, and hardest, lines, so imo she held up pretty well, but her constant shouting of "Coachella, are you ready?" were so annoying. Overall, I can't say I love her stage presence. It's the same for Chaewon - so much yelling, too much forced interaction with the crowd.
LSF's entire performance was super staged. Every single yell, shout out to the audience, interaction between the members, moment of walking around the stage, was planned. None of it looked natural. They were going for cool and effortless, but they do not make anything look "easy". On the contrary, it always looks meticulously planned out and rehearsed.
Final comments: their new song doesn't sound amazing and I hate it when companies debut songs for the first time on stage - it's the worst possible way to listen to a song for the first time; their Perfect Night skit about drinking was so cringe. I skipped all the talking ments for two reasons: lack of time, and their lowkey cringeness (mostly Yunjin).
Anyway, I'd say overall they did pretty great, but maybe only in comparison to normal kpop performances.
