I just deejayed my ass off at the karaoke bar. I had those bitches jumping
#karaoke#this was such a bizarre karaoke bar#everyone was rude#their drinks appeared to be neither good nor cheap#i was chugging water#bc im three years sober baby!#and the staff was rude#but there was maybe one other party there#everything was in chinese#which is fine that neighborhood has a lot chinese speakers.#but when you clicked on english on the menu#you still had mandarin#now i understand a tiny bit of chinese#but im def not at american karaoke translating songs level#im home and so im high#this is getting rough#but ill talk through it you know#like i can order a hamburger in chinese#my name#what i like to do#which train whay platform#fluent i am not but im learning#im losing the plot#the more i think about it#the more bizarre it becomes#there was literally no one else there besides that one party and us#there were zero people at the bar#or at any of the high tops#the security guard yoinked a friends shooter (rip fallen soldier)#the one lady yelling at us 'whose the host' and were yelling back '
