two random fanfic thoughts:

the reason I try to finish works before an episode airs isn't because I'm afraid the episode will contradict me, or rather, it kind of is, but it's specifically because I'm afraid the episode or further information will be way better than what I've written and I'll have to figure out how to retcon.

I am sympathetic to britpicking conceptually but I've seen British people write US Southern accents so excruciatingly badly that I can't feel that bad.

#the first is about how my charlotte/howard fic has been on ice bc i need to figure out how to incorporate howard's canon backstory #the second is uh. have you ever read imogen as written by a brit. it's like when bake off did s'mores #what's also funny is like. i was thinking about this in the silt verses which is written by a brit but has actors from all over #they just are like hello american actor you will say the word Lorry and you will Like It. And it's fine.
