Volume 6: The Celebrations!

It’s been one month since The Scout Guide Memphis & Oxford, Volume 6 made its debut, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who came out to celebrate the guide at both launch parties in Memphis & Oxford. The launch party is always a great way to kick of the new scouted year-- the businesses in the guide are able to gather together, collaborate, and share the joy of being a business owner in the community. Elizabeth Looney Photography beautifully captured the details and people of our Memphis celebration that took place at Old Dominick Distillery. Luckily, we had Shindigs by Sheril help coordinate the event— creating a night to remember!

The night began with a picturesque balloon entrance by John Mark Enterprises, giving the party-goers a first glimpse of what the Volume 6 cover color is (Pantone Color Process Blue U to be exact!!)

Not only was the party held at Old Dominick, but the cocktails using their Hot Toddy and Memphis Vodka hit the spot! They also hosted a Bourbon tasting station where party-goers could try the different types of bourbon distilled right there at the distillery. 

The food, provided by Sweet Magnolia Catering, was PHENOMENAL. Shrimp & Grits, a beautiful charcuterie spread, and mini loaded potato bites were among some of the delicious Hors d’oeuvres served.

We especially love how John Mark Enterprises placed the florals with Volume 6 and at the book bar, which is where guests could take home guides from all different cities. It is so fun browsing through other city guides-- inspiring us to plan a trip somewhere new! 

The cookies by The Cookie Canvas Mississippi are beautiful and delicious! They were the perfect party favor to end the night. 

Keeping the party going in Oxford....

A week after the Memphis launch, we headed down south to Oxford to celebrate Volume 6 at Lost Dog Coffee at Plein Air. Taylor Square Photography captured this fun event!

John Mark Enterprises provided the plans for this party as well and went with a more rustic & “outdoorsy” vibe, as compared to the Memphis celebration. The fall plants set the perfect tone! 

The food, provided by A&N Catering of Grit Restaurant, was perfect. We all loved it so much that we hopped next door to try the dinner menu at Grit!
