you were shivering, teeth practically chattering. the wide doors that led to the back of the luxurious party-mansion were wide open. your dress offered little warmth and neither did the people around you- their arrogance and bright colors offered no heat, no coziness, no reminders of home.

your wearing a corset dress- low cut, your chest on great display, you feel like the short hemmed bottomed makes you out to flash everyone at this party.

your hair has braids scattered about- your original hair texture is long gone with the amount of heat styling they’ve done on it throughout your victory tour and interviews. bows adorn the ends of each small braid that lays on your now, flat- straight hair.

the meaningless conversation, and congratulations throughout this party is enough to drive you mad. you need air- oh-so cold but nonetheless you needed more air. you’re feet are moving past people- people who grab at you, yelling praises, trying to get a passing word with you.

but you’re mind is racing, you need to sit in silence and breath.

you find a garden- you don’t have enough greenery back in your district, more ocean, too much sand, too much heat.

the sand got everywhere. you couldn’t complain about the ocean- oh, how you loved the water. but once the sand got in your hair, your shoes, your towel, your clothes- it couldn’t get out. it seemed sand would never leave you alone- president snow reminded you all too much of sand.

it felt like an infirmary sentencing, a life estimation. once the words ‘capitols doll’ left his mouth, ‘desirable’, ‘young, sweet, and pretty’ you felt sick- you’d live your life in misery until another innocent tribute would come along and take all of the heat. but you’d always be in a hotel room, in the capitol, entertaining the people like a puppet on a string.

you don’t think you’ve been warm since you heard those words, you don’t think there’s been enough air- but now, in this garden, everything seems okay.

you sit on a bench, rose bushes surrounding you, a few flowers you can name but never seen- only in books.

your hands are in your lap now, fingers playing with one another- your deep breathes began to lower your blood pressure.

until you hear footsteps nearing on the cold- crunchy grass that’s been frozen over from the weather.

he’s tall- shirtless. what stylist would do that to someone in this nippy weather? but you think your stylist would send you off to these parties naked if he had no decency, too.

he’s finnick odair. even the wind flirting your eyes can recognize that. how couldnt you? the poster boy of your district, sex symbol of panem, but you don’t comprehend any of it.

“you’ve found my spot.” he’s smirking, you can understand why people in the capitol swoon over him- not even six seconds and your body rushes with warm blood.

then you process his words, slowly scrambling to grab your clutch and rising to your feet. he puts his hand up, signaling for you to halt your movements.

“it’s nice to have company.” and so you move your bag over , allowing him more room to sit on the bench.

you don’t speak, atleast you don’t know what to say- you don’t ask questions or say something stupid. finnicks voice breaks the thick barrier of silence; “nice party they gave you.”

he’s joking, and his slight laugh makes you laugh. you’d won nearly a month ago- many sleepless nights covered with makeup and fake eyelashes. “yeah, i’m so grateful for them all.” you breathily laugh off.

the playfulness of this all is refreshing. it almost makes you long forget about your grim past and even darker impending doom.

he turns his head towards you, scanning your face- then to the rose bushes surrounding the both of you- then back to your face. “too many roses every where, i’m starting to hate the smell of them.”

you pick up on his small talk, and you almost laugh a little- he’s acting like a grade-school boy. “i’m beginning to think it possibly the ugliest thing natures created now.”

“mags told me about how mentoring you went, we were all relieved when you won.” you wince when you think about that, he knows that better then anyone here. the heart sinking feeling when your brain slips up for a second- that you don’t let yourself think to hard about, nor too long.

“thanks.” he doesn’t even know you yet, but he know that even if you don’t speak too much the ones you do vocalize have meaning, no vacancy in them. “are you cold?” you can’t help but voice your curiosity.

he looks down on himself, almost as though his body brings him guilt in a way. like he’s ashamed to own it, you’re sure you’ll understand soon.

but within seconds his guard is back up, back to the capitol darling. he simply places your hand on his shoulder, he’s forcing your body to move but in the most genuine way anyone has ever done so.

you feel your cold finger tips merge with his radiant shoulder, like a hypothermic to a heater.

finnicks aura is simply heat, not a touch of coldness. you wonder if it’s his insides pouring into his physical being. does he not have any cold feelings in his heart? is he genuine? “how are you warm right now?”

he only laughs as you try to remove your hand from him in the least awkward way you can, placing your hands back into your lap. there’s so many things you want to ask him, tell him. his soul is like a confession booth, that you’ve heard before. all the secrets he knows, all of the words only he’s been told.

“does it get better? even if you’ve been told something that doesn’t make you think it will?” he can only imagine what your last words mean, and now his heart drops. no- not someone like you? so young so unsuspecting, but weren’t they all?

“if you have someone to lean on, you’ll be okay.”

you frown at this, despite your fear of making yourself seem like a complete and utter loser to the golden boy of panem- you say; “and if i don’t?” you can’t help but think about your overworked tired parents, never home, never cared too much. your friends who you don’t see all too much.

“if you don’t,” he looks up from his lap now, eyes locked onto yours, only your eyes ever- not your exposed chest or the dress that rides up your thighs. “you have me if you’re willing, i think we’ve gotten on well.”

this makes you smile to yourself, you can’t look into his eyes any longer you think you’ll get lost. you feel like a school girl, unable to breathe around the presence of your crush. “i don’t know you all that well, finnick odair.”

he shakes his head, “haven’t you read the news, y/n l/n?” he’s mimicking your words, almost in a sing-song way.

“i don’t tend to make premeditated decisions on who someone is based on what the capitol news says. i prefer to get to know them instead.”

“well, let’s get to know eachother then.” his body turns toward you. flattening his hands onto his lap. “favorite color?”

you look at the grass before you, the stems of the flowers around you, the feeble, poor excuses of barely full bushes that line the sand before the water in district four. “green, not a dark green. something in the middle.” your eyes flick back to his, almost the perfect green you were talking about. “and you?”

“blue.” his two fingers pick up the bows at the end of your hair, you almost roll your eyes at this. too charming you could laugh.

“what are you scared of?”

he thinks about this one, taking a moment to relay his thoughts. it wasn’t death, no. he wouldn’t be scared when his time came, he would just hope the people he loves would be okay, that they’d get through it without him.

“becoming one of them.” he nods his head back to the people scuffling about in frilly dresses and skirts around the main party center. “so moral-less, so demanding. so many things i don’t want to be.”

you shake your head now, “i don’t think you could ever be one of them.” to anyone else this would be an insult, being apart of the capitol was little girls and boys dreams. to live so lavishly and carefree. but once you’ve seen it all, you just want to be by the ocean- at peace, unbothered with those who meant the most to you. “you’re much too good for that.”

finnick believes you, it’s like all he’s needed his whole life was your words that had no hint of second meaning. only pure, true, clean. “if it means anything, i know you couldn’t be anyways. no matter how many bows they put in your hair.” he laughs again, that charming chuckle that sends a butterfly to your stomach. “you have a good heart, i hope that it stays that way.”

it’s all so honest , the whole interaction. but you’ve been away from your own party far too long and you’re almost scared to upset people. “i have to go. i’ll see you around, finnick.” his name is foreign to your tongue almost, but its welcome.

finnick then stands quickly, “when will i see you again?” he almost looks worried.

“soon. we live in the same village after all.”

So another of my tin foil hat theories is, it's not just Omega who can take midichlorian donation--it's all of the Batch. Grab the Reynold's Wrap and some Thin Mints!

At the end of S1 when Nala Se arrives at Tantiss she says to Hemlock 'what the Emperor wants isn't possible'. So, she already knows what Hemlock is up to.

In Season 2, Lama Su suggests grabbing Omega as leverage, because Nala Se has been rotting in a cell, refusing to cooperate. Hemlock snags Crosshair, uses him to bait the Batch, gets Omega. As we know from S3, Nala Se instantly starts blackholing Omega's test results. We find out why in episode 3 when Omega and Crosshair are spared death because due to a series of unfortunate events, one of Omega's samples gets through and is positive for the ability to accept a donation of midichlorians. I.e., Omega can get More Stronger at wielding the Force, which the Emperor naturally would want for himself, for cloned bodies for him to jump into (Rise of Skywalker), etc.

Now, Nala Se immediately began deleting Omega's samples, and per S1, she already knew what this project was about--so she knew that she had accomplished what the Emperor wanted, she was just gaslighting gatekeeping girlbossing her way through 'WOW SCIENCE IS HARD' and while Hemlock suspects her he can't do this without her so he's kinda stuck.

Where the rest of the Batch come into this is part meta and part S1.

In Season 1, Lama Su indicates he doesn't care who out of the Batch they can get back as long as they can get one. This is highly relevant because we're initially lead to believe it's only Omega they want, because Omega is a pure copy of Jango, and thus a source of DNA for them to keep using since Boba is long gone, as is Jango. (This doesn't make sense scientifically but, you know, whatever.)

As we find out, though, she's not. Furthermore, Omega isn't just an experimental clone, she's the first experimental clone. She was made before the Batch, suggesting they might even be derived from her, or, at a minimum share numerous of her traits. For example, the ability to accept midichlorians.

Nala Se's comment to Hemlock implies she knows about the desire for this process which in turn suggests the Kaminoans themselves were already trying to do it (maybe even in conjunction with Hemlock, who later left; he and Nala Se clearly know one another quite well). But the Kaminoans may have undertaken it as a selling point to the Republic. Hey, Jedi numbers low? No problem! Force sensitive clones WITH inhibitor chips so they do anything you want!

But the Emperor doesn't want that, he wants to make himself a new fresh body to live in forever. So they blow Tipoca City to pieces and kidnap Nala Se, wanting her to finish the project. Except she already has, and the results are in the wind. Except...for Crosshair.

Now, Hemlock says Crosshair was ruled out long ago. As we saw, Nala Se was destroying Omega's samples. ...was she also destroying Crosshair's? She might have been; we have no way of knowing, having never seen him be tested. Nala Se may have bided her time, deleting Cross' samples until Hemlock gives up on him and chucks him in with the others to be made into a Clone X. Whew! Bullet dodged. Except then Omega is captured. Fuck! Back at it again.

Meta-reason: when asked about the new seasonal posters, someone noted that there's a red underlight glow on Omega and the original Batch members, i.e. not on Echo. And on no one else. If this is danger, what danger are they all equally in which Echo isn't? Well...Echo isn't derived from Omega...

Final fold for this particular hat: since Cross and Omega have escaped we've been given no insight into what's happening in Tantiss. This isn't, IMO, on accident; it's likely Hemlock got all this information out of Nala Se one way or another. And that could be why CX-1 said 'they're coming for all of you'. He may have meant all of the Batch, since he was talking to Crosshair.

Did Rex and Howzer look at the rest of those targets on the list? Omega is the primary one, obviously, because she can be leveraged against Nala Se, who tbh couldn't give a shit about the rest of the Batch. But as Lama Su said: any one will do.

This works much, much better than Omega being the most specialist girl protected by her younger brothers. That's tired. Instead it becomes 'family created for one purpose decide to do literally anything else with their lives, against all odds'. Vastly more interesting.

And one last thing which is less tinfoil-hat-making and more pondering: those medical records on Nala Se's datapad. They're going to be relevant. Perhaps there's locked or hidden information in there which, once Tech re-surfaces, they can get into. We'll see.

If there was any one thing that would get Din to join the Rebellion it was this pretty boy who had shown up on the holo-net out of nowhere. He was an X-Wing pilot, judging by the uniform - a tight orange jumpsuit, tousled hair, and a face too pretty for war, in Din’s opinion. Din spends years looking at and fantasizing about the Rebellion pin-up boy, only to find out nearly a decade later that his flyboy fantasy is the last Jedi and his son's new teacher.

The Clone Wars Venator names and the meaning behind Ahsoka’s Tribunal

So I know The Clone Wars show has been over for nearly 3 years now (wow) but I came to this daunting realization recently and had to share. I’m not even sure if this has been discussed already.

All through the show, we are introduced to a handful of Ventator-class Star Destroyers. Each Jedi and their respective Admiral belongs to one. For example:

Anakin → the Resolute

Obi-Wan → the Negotiator

Mace Windu → the Endurance

Plo Koon → the Triumphant

…and Ahsoka → the Tribunal

Now, I’ll get to Ahsoka’s venator in a minute.

As for the rest of the ones we’ve been introduced to, they are mostly named after a defining characteristic of the Jedi in which they belong (if Kenobi’s is any indication, I mean c’mon I don’t even have to explain that one). The only exception is Plo Koon’s ship, which I’ll cover towards the end.

With the Resolute, however, we can begin to draw some lines and connect the dots. Anakin continuously proves in the movies and in the show alike how determined and resilient he is during the war. In Ahsoka’s own words from Rebels:

“He rarely lost a battle”

Anakin is unwavering, strong, and the poster-boy of the Jedi/the Republic’s leading defenses for a reason. He’s the Chosen One and if he’s firm about anything it’s taking down the Separatists. I feel like this one pretty much speaks for itself.

Where Mace and the Endurance are concerned, it creates a perfect parallel to Anakin. The literal definition of endurance is the ability to withstand and overcome hardship without giving way. Mace isn’t Yoda’s number two without reason. Mace Windu is the exemplary Jedi in every way and what the Order wants their Jedi to strive to embody. Whether you like him or not, he follows the rules as he should. If Tales of the Jedi showed us anything, it’s that he rises in rank because he’s the cookie-cutter version of what a Jedi should be. He’s everything that Anakin, as the Chosen One, should try to manifest. But he doesn’t, and thus enters in the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker. This is just one small detail among many that allude to his eventual deviation from the path of the Jedi. Anakin ends up unable to endure the ultimate hardship he’s been faced with in Revenge of the Sith. He’s forced to endure the rest of his life without Padmé and in service to an evil he can’t overcome.

Then we arrive at Plo Koon, whose venator is the Triumphant. It gets destroyed early on in season one, but still plays a large part in the episodes it’s in. It acts as an element of foreshadow in the struggle against Grievous and the Malevolence. Despite losing the ship itself, Master Plo, and the Wolfpack survive.

While this doesn’t necessarily fall in line with our established pattern, it does highlight a key point in his character’s story in the whole of TCW. It simply acts as foreshadow for a very memorable moment in season 1 of the show.

Now, this brings me back to Ahsoka and the venator she is given in season 7. Tribunal is not a word than describe any one person. The definition of the word is a court of justice. In war, tribunals are established to try individuals who are accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

With that out of the way, let us backtrack to her arc at the end of season 5. Ahsoka was wrongfully accused of both bombing the Jedi Temple and for murder, finding herself kicked out of the Order for crimes she never committed. The tribunal, in this scenario, was both the Council and the official trial that Padmé and Tarkin were present for. She is prevented from continuing on as a Padawan. And when asked to return, Ahsoka willingly chooses to instead walk away from everything she’s ever known. She turns her back on them, just as they did to her.

In the final two episodes of season 7, a similar event unfolds. Despite having walked away, despite not being a Jedi, Ahsoka comes back and is still grouped in with those who are to be executed when Order 66 is given. She’s accused of treason against the Republic by Sidious’s words alone. Once again, Ahsoka is wrongfully charged with something she did not do, looped into a category in which she no longer fits. This time, it’s not the Council or the Republic that handles her trial. A trial isn’t going to be held at all. She’s indicted with the crime and offered no possibility of proving her innocence. She has no opportunity of choice here. A choice has been made for her. She’s sentenced to a death by execution at the hands of her own men. Men who, like the Jedi, no longer have control of the situation. Men who are sentenced just the same, stripped of the ability to do something about what the government says is so. Therefore, making the Tribunal exactly what it is — an unjust “hearing” that deems the Jedi responsible of war crimes they never had a hand in. The Tribunal declares Ahsoka to die, taking the 332nd, the Jedi, and the remains of the Republic down with it.

(TL;DR) Naming her venator this is ironic, as it foreshadows what we already know to be true — that a war tribunal that will not be held, that this will not end justly for anyone involved.

When hearing “the Tribunal” now, it just holds such a heavy, formidable, devastating weight unlike it did before.

So yeah, share my pain.

As fillers for my days when I don't read the current fic I'm still into right now entitled Between Dreams & Temptations by tasogareban (because I have been busy with studying and school shit that I think of reading fanfic a distraction, + my anxiety won't let me read because reading fanfics is a ME time), I watched video essays about Reylo, and about the last episode of thr sequel I have yet to watch (because I have not finished the aforementioned fanfic, and this fic is set after between TFA and TLJ so I don't want to cloud my mind with TROS, knowing how it ends already).

The first Reylo video essay I watched was entitled Reylo Theory Explained to the Haters | Why Rey and Kylo Ren Together Makes Sense by The Den of Nerds. It was an OK take, and he said he took his content inspiration from a 3 part series by Vincent Vendetta, so I went ahead and watched those as well. I liked Vincent Vendetta's videos more, and these videos were released after the first movie, episode 8, The Force Awakens. When I read the comments I think people were just speculating / predicting about Reylo happening in the next movie. It was a really good watch. I can't believe Star Wars official posters/merch hinted so much Reylo 😭

Last night, I watched what I thought was a video talking about Reylo in TROS, but she talked about TROS in general.

This was hilarious 😂 And I recently just contemplated about whether watching TROS would be even worth my time. The way she talked about it the story felt like it's going to be just a wild goose chase (with the map and Palpatine). It sounds like the movie's premise is really bad.

Return For The 40th

My favorite time is here and once again to contribute to my favorite movie of the franchise: Return of the Jedi among it's 40 anniversary!

And what better way of doing so then with another Sponge Wars poster!

Of course I've come a long way to make this to even try improving the skill (In fact it's not the first time I made a picture of it) And just like before Less Star Wars and more SpongeBob!

The Title was (Of course) originally called "Return of the Sponge" but ever since the concept changed, so does the title, (That and it was too 'On the Nose' if it were a parody)

It went through several changes like "Requite of the Sponge", "Comeback of the Sponge" or "The Sponge Returns" To me None of them work. It wasn't until by accident I looked for definition of Sponge and consider as a cleaning tool "Rinse" seem like a funny idea that it actually works

The story for this After SparkBob defeat in the second story, He goes out to battle in His Way, with only his friends trust, and beliefs is the real source of defeating the empire

What also given is a twist where everything in the end is not what it suppose to be.

Another twist to the story of by the major concept to be like almost a remake crossover in a sense. Yes it's mainly "Star Wars made like a SpongeBob cartoon" But what I give additional concept from other movies like the Force Awakens and Rise of Skywalker

What even also give the idea of making SparkBob special is to fight in peaceful and (yet Goofy) way (Think like Anakin if he were to go rouge but in a good way) it's even hinted with the Lightsaber now turn to a spatula (Inspired by the episode: All that Glitters)

Dark Scuba get another upgraded armor as he's now crowned in command by the evil Emperor Planktine (and yes it really Plankton)

Pat and Sandia Still don't have a romance but instead is to trust one another ideas even if they are good or bad.

The Battle of Endor is taken place in the Kelp Forest and all the Ewoks are cloaked Sea Bears, now called "Seawoks"

Ms Puff also takes more the 3 roles, mainly as Boba Fett, but also Mon Mothma (in the style of Finn from the Force Awakens) and a bit of Nien Nunb as the weapon expert to fight the empire.

The "Full" role of Nien Numb is actually given to Pearl, who was originally was suppose to be Mon, But her teenage personality seem more suited as the copilot in the Millennium Patty

Unlike the 2nd Death Star which is the same weapon but unfinished, This weapon is now the "Dented Bucket" which is like the Chum Bucket with a laser coming out of the glove (Along with a rusted exterior to give it the similarity)

For Jabba the Hutt territory was given to more of a comical turnover

Bubble bass is Playing the role, but also Lazy as to not even change his name. All the other member are played out as "Comic Book geeks at a major hangout" house party Including familiar faces like Flats the Flounder, and Johnny Shark. The palace itself is taken place in his basement of his Mother's house, and The Rancor is Literally his Mother!
