HI!!! call me cervid :3
I LIKE AND FREQUENTLY POST ABOUT VORE AND STUFFING!!!
(not in the gross way i swear hear me out)
i dont like stuffing in a weight gain way (no hate to ppl who do, its just not my thing) and, for vore, i enjoy the g/t, SAFE, SOFT kind (fatal sometimes but not heavily in detail) and nonsexually! i like both of those things in a comfort/show of love thing if that makes sense. i also like g/t just in general. im too lazy to tag any of it unless its for reach purposes (like my writing or other stuff like that) so Watch Out i guess 💀
I do post about normal stuff too!! (i like to draw and write) so ofc i dont mind when "normal" blogs follow but just be aware of what i reblog lol
i dont bite! pls interact 👁️👁️
more info (fandoms, my works, likes/dislikes, dni) under the cut because this is Long...
the kind of vore/stuffing things that i do NOT like (keep in mind if u wanna suggest/send something):
-heavily detailed hard vore/more on the gore side
-death feedism
-feedism specifically for like.. weight gain
-unrealistic stuffing/vore (like. when their tummy is bigger than the rest of their body SORRY ITS JUST NOT MY THING)
-most pregnancy stuff
(ill add to this later)
im into a ton of fandoms but currently 2001: a space odyssey, electric dreams, ultrakill, inscryption, fallout new vegas, and i have no mouth and i must scream are overtaking my brain, if you are one of the rare ppl who like those and like vore/stuffing too PLEASE SEND ME ASKS. PLSSSS IM DESPERATE LITERALLY ANYONE CAN SEND ME VORE OR STUFFING RELATED ASKS PLEEEAAASEEEEEEEEEEEEEE IM BEGGING. I LOVE WRITING ABOUT STUFF PLS
also im otherkin! so ill reblog that stuff too (yes im weird, yes i take pride in that)

coming from someone who doesn’t really have any strong feelings abt alexis, alexis haters are some of the most annoying people in the fandom. you guys come out of the woodworks every other month just to try to argue with alexis fans and it makes the entire redacted tag unenjoyable for the rest of the fandom. no alexis didn’t sexually assault sam, yes she was fucked up for turning him against his will but nobody is denying that?? y’all will love the evil MALE characters on the channel like blake who’s kidnapped and lowkey tortured sunshine, regulus who’s like only purpose is to stalk and violate his listener, and other MEN who just generally do wrong but hate alexis (a woman) to your very cores and it’s weird as hell. if you can’t handle people liking a character you don’t care for, you’re not mature enough to interact with people in your fandom and you need a hobby. alexis haters are weird and annoying and every time you guys open your mouths to say some dumb shit i like her more and more.

Regis for blorbo bleebus?
SO glad u asked<3, he's literally the guy I was hoping someone would ask me abt when I reblogged this lmaoo!!
He tied 1st place in "Most Blorbo" to me along with Geralt. Ur talking to a guy who when he: 1. got shot with the arrow on the barge, 2. temporarily left the hansa, and 3. melted, had to tearfully put the book down and mourn his (perceived) loss for several minutes lmaoo. I got sooo attached so fast.
In terms of justifications for some of the things I marked him as:
- Among everything else in the 1st bar(?) he's most definitely an "aspirational character" for me. I love how he's reflected on his actions in his youth and determined to make up for it/do better for those around him, he realizes he can never undo the things he's done but he still actively chooses to wake up and do good in his life and the lives of those he meets around him. He's the embodiment of humanity. Hes dedicated his immortal life to the benefit of mortals around him, I WISH I had half the drive and kindness he does. He reflected on his life and realized he needed to change. AND THEN HE DID. It's lowkey embarrassing to admit this, but I do legitimately want to be more like him in that regard.
- He IS just some guy, and that's what makes him so great. U look at him (not so much the CDPR design of him lol) and u think "oh that's just some guy" and he is!! but he's also the most complex, fruity guy ull ever meet.
- Everyone is the hansa would argue that he's "awful company" but to ME at least, he's an absolute ray of sunshine. Every time someone in the hansa would tell him to shut up I'd get so offended on his behalf. Who cares if he's annoying or wrong, the shit he's talking abt is genuinely fascinating and fun, u guys r just mean. Like yass king, monolog to me abt ur topic of the week, take as many pages of this book as u need to get ur point across, I don't mind<3 lmao.
- He's straight up universally beloved by all, characters and fans (barring vilgefortz but he doesn't get an opinion).
- I was tempted to mark him as more "untouched by history" than "traumatized" bc after that one excerpt in, I think LotL, where the robbers in the future burn Dandelions manuscripts of the hansa I figured not too many people would know abt him traveling with Geralt (as he'd prolly prefer seeing how he'd most likely still be around, what with being immortal and having regenerated from Styyga by that time) but his trauma and youth plays a bigger part in who he is.
-in terms of feelings he evokes,, as we can see, I've literally spent the entire post gushing abt him<3 lmaoo. Any chance to talk abt him and how great he is, I'll take.
- If twn even looks at him I'm going to act on those "powerful violent urges"
- He deserves FAR better treatment from both canon and fanon (I'll never get over how dirty cdpr did him with his character design and character choices. Plus a lot of the fandom has this really weird take on him being extremely sexual and domineering, esp in fanfic, which I'm not the biggest fan of)
- Not so much anymore, but back when the witcher really had a grip on me I had pages worth of crappy doodles on him and Geralt lmaoo. He's fun to draw and thinking back on it I should prolly start drawing him more again.
- I think everything in the "you want them to have" section kind of speaks for itself. I would like to see him deal with a bit more trauma in regards to Styyga and feelings for Geralt, but I'm just a sucker for gay angst lmaoo
- He found a family with the hansa, I just wish they could've stayed a family </3
- A "satisfying ending" for me would be taking the CDPR canon and having him come back to Geralt at corvo bianco after fucking of with Detlaff for a bit. I have sadly made my peace with the books melancholy ending, so mine and his happiness rests on the shoulders of headcanons I make abt the game (tho I do wish they had him show up again at the end of BaW after the main ending </3)
#deacf talks#ask game#thank u for asking!!#sorry if this is too messy i did this on my phone lol#this is sooo long and rambly lmaoo. uve unleashed the floodgate if love i hold for this dude😭😭#emiel regis

Why does the fandom speak abt Ashara being "dishonored"? Don't the Dornish have free relationships in the book? Isn't it the Dornish women's right to choose their partner? Or is a rape implied here? Arianne certainly has relationships since she was 14 y.o.
Hi anon!
I think you are mistaking Dorne for the Summer Islands.
I would argue that a very limited number of highly privileged individuals, mostly in the vicinity of the currently royal family, particularly those closely connected to the extremely flamboyant Oberyn Martell, are enjoying a less inhibited lifestyle. But Arianne is hardly flaunting it. What is happening behind closed doors is different from what is advertised in public, much like in the rest of Westeros. (See also Barbrey Dustin and Brandon Stark or Littlefinger claiming years later to have been with both Tully sisters. Or Myranda Royce!)
The relative freedom of Arianne and the Sand Snakes is neither the norm for all of Dorne nor does it influence what a Stormlander like Barristan Selmy would consider appropriate for an unmarried noblewoman. He is the one who considers Ashara “dishonored”, which may imply coercion but certainly a besmirching of her good name, especially since a (stillborn) bastard child was supposedly the result. (See also Lysa Arryn.)
Women in Dorne have a more equal status when it comes to inheritance, and paramours are more accepted - for men anyway - but that doesn't translate to widespread sexual liberation or lack of inhibition. That seems to be a prejudice against Dorne by outsiders. (See also Arys Oakheart.)
Ashara's nephew Edric Dayne is careful to describe the events in an apologetic language to Arya ("Where's the harm in that?") and I would venture to guess that a woman like Ashara would have been considered along the lines of Amerei Frey or Edric Storm's mother or other noble girls who had the misfortune of getting caught or getting pregnant. Life goes on but their marital prospects likely suffered a bit as a result.

Yeah the whole coloniser thing is just one of the reasons I do NOT want to see Anthony in parliament or even doing his viscount duties. Whenever the books would go on about how much the men cared about their tenants or even when they tried to make Simon some duke who gave a shit about his tenants I rolled my eyes. let’s be real every action these characters took they only really cared about themselves and their inner circle. Same goes for Anthony, he cared deeply about his family but it was clear he does not care too much about anyone outside his inner circle. I mean he roughly shoved on off the servants aside during S1. I get this is all escapism but books need to atleast put in a bit of effort for me to believe it.
In the Bridgerton books atleast there tends to be some musings abt places like India & Africa (by the men) and they tend to echo the colonial mindset of the time. But the rest of the books mostly ignore historical accuracy. HR as a genre doesn’t really care about historical accuracy. I mean I once read an HR where the heroine talked abt the need to wash hands to get rid of germs in a book set decades before germ theory. If they can do all these things then why do these books only care about historical accuracy when it comes to things like racism and consent.
I think accuracy with regards to historical romance is such a big can of worms that the genre just isn't fully ready to deal with. Because the reality is, imo, that these books don't exist in a historical world. They exist in something of a fantasy world that is influenced by history, but should not be held by its restrictions. I mean, a lot of authors are fairly upfront these days about how they may research history, but it's not (and can't be) their highest priority because they know that the MAJORITY of readers do not give a fuck about accuracy and just want a good story--a story that adheres, in terms of how things like gender, sexuality, and race are concerned, more to modern mores than Regency-era ones. But they'll still get the hate mail from the small but vocal minority of people that care about accuracy to the nth degree.
People who read historical romance? Imo, don't even know what historical accuracy is. If you go onto r/romancebooks, you'll see comments every few months ago from people that sniff that if it's not Georgette Heyer, it's not accurate, and they don't want it if it's not accurate. Usually, they're referring to the way sex and vulgarity is depicted in historical romance--and usually, they're pretty off in terms of their perception of historical accuracy. People were fucking, in and out of wedlock, and people could be preeeeeeetty fucking vulgar. It reminds me a bit of the Bridgerton fandom acting like Granville must be the one gay person on the show, because didn't you know, gay people didn't exist in the Regency. Sure, Jan!
These same people are willing to bury their heads in the hand about colonialism and exploitation and how that benefited the upper classes in the Regency, because that's just not fun, is it? I would actually argue, though, that for all that the Bridgerton books might mention colonialism every now and then, they're actually some of the worst I've read in terms of owning up to the problematic nature of the upper classes. Julia Quinn went on the record saying that she wasn't comfortable writing outside of the upper classes (or.... outside of white people, ironically enough considering the show's notoriety for its diverse cast) because she didn't want to break "the fantasy". She actually got into pretty hot water for that. It's actually interesting to see historical romance authors discuss Bridgerton online, because there's a much more mixed reaction to JQ's books being adapted because they are so insularly focused on this frothy "unproblematic" upper class--and I think a lot of people are still not sure of how to handle JQ because of those comments.
Obviously, I don't want to imply that she's some horrible person for making a gaffe or perhaps not thinking super critically in the moment, but it's just an interesting issue to consider against the backdrop of the show.
The reality is that there are a lot of historical romance novels that exist to serve a kind of fantasy--and it's an extremely white, straight, cis, extremely privileged fantasy. It's a world in which people can shut their eyes and pretend that nothing bad is happening to the people the dukes and viscounts etc. are relying on for an income. And we have to ask ourselves, why is THAT the fantasy?
#bridgerton#i mean again this is my favorite subgenre of romance so it's a question i'm dealing with a lot#but i think that's also why you see a lot of self-made men these days or aristocrats who've lost their fortunes#and are being forced to work#i mean two of the most popular books in the genre are dreaming of you (self made man) and devil in winter (aristo forced to work)#romance novel blogging

On tianshan relationship and their fandom, i guess ?
hello there @nightfayre !! Im the 5asks anon lol (the one abt the last chapter of tianshan). I wanted to thank you for your answer and continue to rant in your askbox but i figured it was so long that mb it would crash ur box lmao, so I... kind of created a blog..... hm. well theres no bad reasons to create an account is there lol ?? (also is there no way to send a long ask ?? why is it so limited :(( )
So once again thank you for anwser, and what an answer ! You raised many points i didnt think about and that was very interesting. I knew i would be glad to hear your thoughts ! the rest under a read more coz i think its going to be looong lol
(( To do a sort of disclaimer : I despise fandom discourse and im more of the mentality “let ppl enjoy what they want as long as it dont hurt real life ppl”, and “dont like dont interact”. So everything im going to say is not an attack against anyone, but just a way of prolonging a manhwa that i like. Most of all, i want to emphasize that at the end of the day, its just a manhwa : it doesnt justify being mean or aggressive towards other real life ppl. If you find yourself raging while reading fandom wank, just stop reading, block, and go outside a little. My way of enjoying the manhwa is to be analytical, to criticize (positively and negatively) and to look at the material source as well as the fandom in itself ; if its (understandably lol) not your definition of fun, this post may not be for you !))
Ur totally right in saying that the hardest thing is separate morality, reality and fiction. I hope my asks didn't come across as a 'u shouldnt like tianshan bc its not morally good'. There is a lot of puritan push back on tumblr lately, and im totally against it. Everyone is free to like/ship what they want ; reading only ‘morally good’ literature wont prevent you to become a nasty person - i would argue itd be the exact opposite, as your spirit wont be trained to think critically or to evaluate a situation (and every situations is always grey) by your own means. Also, its important to separate fantasies/what you like to read and who you are/what you do. To be embarrassingly honest, and like many people, one of my sexual fantasy is rape ; but in my real life, im in a queer anarchist collective that actively fights against rape culture and defends rape victims. That is why i dont have a problem with SheLI/Mo shippers (or even HeCheng/SheLi shippers) even if its not my cup of tea, but i would have a problem if in real life (irl) ppl would say to irl Mo that irl SL is good for him (or if they wouldnt find it wrong that a irl 30yo Cheng is involved wt an irl 15yo Li). I digress.
But then again this confusion about fiction/reality/morality is at the core of the tianshan fandom -and many fandoms. I dont know about you, but i grossly see 3 types of ‘trends’ depending on how ppl interact with the source material :
1.The ones who think you cant like something while being critical of it. I love 19 days but I think there are flaws in it, beyond tianshan dynamic (like how OX handles the transition between funny and dramatic moments –I think its badly done). It doesn’t mean I personally hate OX and wish harm to their family oc. Worse than this, the ones who, because they dont like certain things in 19 days, feel free to harass OX on their social media. Here its a confusion between fiction and reality and a lack of critical thinking.
2. the ones that loves Tianshan because they think it fits the trope “Dark, handsome, tortured violent boy who is violent towards fragile, sweet, pure cute boy because he loves him” and the typically associated trope “the pure boy will change the violent boy by the pureness of his heart”. Aka the most common yaoi trope. Again, if it pleases people to see Tianshan like this, good for them and i hope they have a nice time reading 19 days. Lets face it, I love really bad yaoi and books. Its just not how i see tianshan at all, but to each their own. I just have a problem when these ppl insist that its an ok behavior to have in real life and say things like “possessiveness is a proof of love” uncritically (hint : it isnt). For me, its the difference between enjoying fast food (thats okay), and wanting to force everyone to eat fast food and to find it pleasurable (not okay).
3. the ones that think what you like in literature defines who you are, and so in order to be a “good person” you have to only like “morally good litterature” -there are the ones I personally find the more interesting bc they can ask good questions. But alas, in most cases its just puritanism badly disguised and currently they are in all fandoms. Lets not delve into the issue of this statement : what is ‘morally good’ ? who are in the authority to proclaim what is good ? how can you recognize what is ‘morally good’ if you dont see what is ‘morally not good’ ? is it literature’s responsibility to educate its audience ? do literature have to point out “watch out audience what just happened is not okay” as if we were brainless children ? whats more important : what you like reading or what you do irl ? .... Okay i totally delve into this lmao. Here its a confusion between fiction and morality and a rejection of critical thinking : we could say its like when the Catholics prohibited women from reading bc it would pervert them and think of the children).
Returning to the specifics of what we've been talking about : so in this last case, you (generic ‘you’) think that you are a good person ; so you have to read morally good literature. So in this case, fandom isnt just a harmless hobby, but a proof of how you are morally good, imagine the stakes ! But alas, you happen to like 19 days and most specifically tianshan. You said (@nightfayre ) that you judge Tianshan unhealthy as they are now, and i wholeheartedly agree with you, so im not going to discuss why since you already explained it so well. So, what happens when you like a morally not good ship, but you think liking morally dubious things makes you a bad person ? You bent over backwards to explain that, in fact, this ship is morally good, to protect your integrity. And thats why, in 19days fandom since the last chapter (and its the same thing with every chapter where flaws of HT are revealed!), there are many posts going around “hm, in fact, what He Tian did is good ! i know it can seems like hes a violent asshole who dont respect MGS because he punches him, threatens him, and dont listen to him, but hm.... in fact its because he’s nice...” and then they do mental gymnastics to justify what is, obviously, not morally justifiable. And i find its a pity because, my guy, my buddy, nobody is going to throw you tomatoes if you like a morally dubious character, and also bc nothin is morally good ! everybody does what they think is the best in ‘problematic situations’ ! and thats what make life interesting ! and so, 19 days interesting ! The flaws of HT (and MGS) are what drawn ppl to his character, bc it makes him real, its makes him contradictory, we can project ourselves in him, and we can see a complicated character with awesome latent potential. And yes, treating someone like a territory bc you care about them is a flaw lol. (on this subject : i saw ppl saying that its protectiveness and not possession : if you protect someone like you would protect a territory, then its not a healthy protection. you deal with a human whose agency you must respect, contrary to a territory).
MGS and HT are the product of what happen to them in their early childhood and then their adolescence. Like you said, they grow up in a violent, twisted world, where being emotionally distant is the norm. I would even say that they are expected to conform to the standards of (toxic) masculinity : channel all your emotions into anger, caring is being weak and feminine, prove your worth by your physical strength, be in control in all ur relationship, etc. I would say thats why Mo is so hostile towards HT : HT challenges his masculinity, by seducing him (everyone know that the biggest fear of macho men like HT and Mo is being considered gay -_-) and being stronger than him. Lets face it, Mo has kind of a homophobic issue, like all the boys. Between JY who tells HT its disgusting being told hes handsome by a man (at the beginning of the manhwa, i hope by now he had grown out of it), or Mo who tells HT he isnt happy that a guy is on his bed or who desperately wants to prove his heterosexuality by saying he likes all cute girls to his baldy friend... HT is more nuanced, but at the end, when he ‘seduces’ Mo, its always predatory. He doesnt let himself being vulnerable and he aggressively touches Mo even without his consent. For me, its a way of proving his domination, not his interest (and when i say that, i dont mean that HT is not genuinely interested in Mo -just that his actions dont translate this). ZZX is the only one who seems to have a healthy relationship with his masculinity lol, but then hes the healthy one in all aspects (thats why i dont like his character and am not invested in zhanyi, even if irl i would love to be his friend).
With all that being said, oc HT wont know how to adequately express genuine concern and interest in Mo ! This sort of social interactions is not something you just know, its smth you learn. And in HT and Mo’s cases, nobody was there to teach them -we could even say that ppl in their life made them unlearn caring behaviors. So HT does what he does best : he fights and forces, and is surprised when Mo thinks (obviously) HT is evil. And also, like you said, Mo will never be (at least how he is now) a driving force in their relationships bc he will always run away from bonding with ppl. So here we are, HT being the only driving force in their relationship, the same HT who only knows violence. No wonder that their relationship is like this...
As it is, i feel like tianshan is kind of in an impasse right now. One or the other is going to have to evolve if we want to see their relationships changing. Either HT learns how to care without being violent (seems complicated if Mo doesnt challenges him, bc HT isnt going to realize this without feedback since its how he has always functioned), or, more likely, Mo is going to be honest with him and tell him that his behavior is hurting him. Though more probable, I dont see it happening anytime soon : for one, Mo isnt capable of seeing when he is hurting emotionally and what is hurting him ; and also, bc Mo doesnt know any other language than violence, not unlike HT. I think its smth most of the fandom ignore, how violence is smth that HT and MGS both have in common, and how if HT wasnt violent, MGS certainly wouldnt consider him at all.
Anw im excited to see where OX is going with all this ! Like you said, the forced kiss was pivotal to their relationship, so im kind of hoping it would be the same here ! I just hope they wont... do like usual and just put a funny chapter and ignore this latest development.....
OMG i wrote soo much and there is so much i still want to say.... i think im going to do a second post... sorry about the spam lmao
( @nightfayre : i dont know how this site works yet, is @ you alright ? will it show you my post in your notif or should i send an ask ? bc i want you to see my answer, but i dont want you to feel pressurized to respond or interact or anything !! above all dont feel pressurized, i was sad last night when you wrote ‘im sorry to not answer more quicly’ bc you should answer at your own rhythm or not answer ! your blog is a hobby, not an obligation, so dont feel bad to not do more when yo already do much !! )
