Hnnngg KH3 part 2.

The last text post got really long so I’m making a second one. This time it’s more how I would have written the storyline of KH3 then anything else.... with a little complaining here and there lol. 

SO HERE’S ANOTHER. 

You know how I would have gone about this game? Like this [more or less];

First and foremost I’d start it with training montages - playable ones I mean - where Riku, Sora, Lea, and Kairi are all fighting together. Or at least with Sora - go ahead and let Riku start his duties as a master to go find Aqua. Probably you’d play as Sora as you play as him 99.5% of the game but there would be a lot of training and them working together before Sora is sent on his own mission to find....fuck I don’t know literally anything but the “power of waking”. That whole power was useless to me and ended up being there the entire time and conveniently used at the perfect time. So no - he’d be looking for Vexen. 

Why Vexen? Well I’d still have Ienzo contact him only this time we’d GO to Radiant Garden and talk to all the ex-members and learn that Vexen could be the one to help get Roxas and Namine their bodies - Roxas being important for the war. Then it becomes a searching mission but more important to me. I’d also make it so Vexen is hiding - NOT ““““working”““““ with the Organization. Sure he can talk to them and try to win them over but I’d want it more clear that he’s tricking them just to get to his old research and steal it. There Sora can show up, want to fight him and him go “NO WAIT PLEASE DON’T ACK” and they work with him to steal the information. Doesn’t mean Sora has to trust Vexen - there is no reason for him too, but they can work together to get important information. Then Vexen can go back to Radiant Garden and work with Ienzo.

Which would mean the 13 need some kind of base they could break into - idk what given that I’m assuming the Town That Never Was would be gone so if that doesn’t work they could just go on to hunt down the other members to find who has the info.AND FIGHT THEM WHEN THEY FIND THEM. None of that taunting shit and then wham - the baddies vanish. The only one we actually fought before the Keyblade Graveyard was Vanitas. Lets fight them all. Doesn’t mean we defeat them - but we at least fight them. I don’t get why Sora just stood around half the game doing nothing until something serious, like some DYING, happened first.

I’d change worlds too - excluding actually both Corona and Arendelle as Princesses of Heart are useless and pointless in this game. That whole thing of “we’re making a back up plan” was stupid. The Princesses of Heart were saved and that’s over with. Move on.

Whatever the worlds would be they’d have more to do with the Organization members and the overall plan/war - so they’d be places more like Toy Box where they [the Org.] were researching how puppet [i.e. toys] can have hearts and stuff like that. Even Big Hero Six I’d keep cuz of that. I’d probably throw in another version of Lilo and Stitch so they could talk to Jumba about creating life. 

Wouldn’t include the box. Especially since iT WENT FUCKING NO WHERE IN THE GAME. Woop-dee-do we saw it at the end. And literally nothing else happened. 

I’d give Maleficent a bigger role - she’s been so important until now. I’d also make her more of a weird, backstabby, ally cuz after KH2 it was a clear split between Heartless vs Nobodies. That vanished in this and the Org. was now controlling the Heartless. Why? In fact [on that ally note] I’d make it a race to see which side could get her on theirs - the Org to use her as one of the 13 and Sora n co cuz she has proven before to not be ENTIRELY evil and has her own ideas. In the end she could just be her own third force and just help here and there for Sora n co cuz again - she has her own ideas and if the Org wins she can’t continue with hers. 

Thus I’d probably has less heartless and more Nobodies and Unversed as the baddies cuz of that given that Maleficent has been in control of them since day one. None of this Ansem [Xehanort version] takes them back and the Org has control crap. Just Maleficent. 

That would be a great thing in the game - showing that both sides are still putting together their teams. AND NOT ANSEM/XEMNAS ugh I mean that would have to be changed in DreamDrop but that was so annoying. They’re gone. Use others instead!! 

I’d focus more on the members of Org. 13 who we don’t have backgrounds on and give them one - thus again I wouldn’t tie it so damn closely to Union Cross. Give them real reasons for still working with Xehanort and even have scenes where Sora n co work on trying to get them on their side - like Demyx. He already ended up there but he was also “Norted”??? So I’m confused as to what happened to him??? Are he and Vexen still full of darkness and need to be destroyed to return to their original bodies???? Otherwise I’d have liked even basic reasoning as to where they came from and why they’re still working with him - if not why they did in the first place!

Cuz I mean the real fight is just Xehanort vs. Sora, lets get real. Fighting everyone else alongside the other heroes was a blast but it should have been more us fighting them and then the other heroes taking control and continuing it/beating them while Sora kept moving on to finding Xehanort. 

I’d also have Lea and Kairi looking for Terra or Ven instead of Sora. So it’d be more like this:

Riku/Mickey: Looking for Aqua in the realm of darkness

Sora/Donald/Goofy: Looking for ways to bring Roxas/Namine back and throwing wrenches into the Org’s plans over and over

Kairi/Lea: Looking for Ven and/or Terra by going back to Castle Oblivion

Literally they’re perfect for that - Axel has gone through it before and Namine as well who could subconsciously help Kairi. It was such an important place and has just been forgotten. Yeah it doesn’t go anywhere for them but maybe the two could have learned more by being able to talk to a memory version of Namine left behind and maybe from there be given a clue as to where Aqua is. [Where did Xemnas have Aqua’s armor btw? Was that in the town that never was or the castle? Cuz if it was the castle we could have had a neato scenario in which is fights Kairi/Lea - possessed by memories as well and help give them a clue as to what happened that they could give Riku/the King]

I don’t really have much else past that except I’d change Remy’s cooking from those dumb meals to just making special actual items - not really like the Moogle’s Synthesis but just making more powerful elixirs or stuff we’d actually care about using. I never used a single food item once.
