Ok I love love LOVE the idea that Laudna realized her feelings for Imogen after the gayest conversation in existence™ because Imogen started using her circlet to block out thoughts literally the next morning. So (assuming Laudna didn’t realize this explicitly while they were talking) Imogen wouldn’t have had a reason to think that things had changed and meanwhile Laudna was rethinking EVERYTHING. That’s like romcom-level bad (or maybe good?) timing.

And then they got split up right around that time too so she couldn’t have seen Laudna’s behavior change even if she wasn’t relying on their mental connection. It makes complete sense that she asked to kiss her with the full expectation that she would be rejected.

(also I’m pretty sure I’ve read a fanfic that had Laudna experience this exact moment of realization so congrats to that person for getting a good grade in gay subtext interpretation)

Honestly someone needs to write a Flower Ranchers or a Ranchers fic that’s a Stardew Valley AU. It’s so them coded. Jimmy could work with the animals, Tango could work with the machinery, and Scott could farm and tend to fish ponds. They could take turns going out for resources.

I really like the idea of Jimmy getting tired of the big city life and moving to Stardew Valley, starting a farm, and then realizing he knows nothing about farming. He goes to the museum/library and finds Scott (in my head, Scott is replacing Leah. I know she doesn’t go to the museum but surely, if she were not code, she would go once in a while.) and they hit it off and realize that they’re neighbors. Then, Jimmy heads up to talk to whoever is replacing Robin (I’m thinking Impulse cause he’s mentioned that if he weren’t a streamer he would love to do carpentry) and that’s where he meets Tango, one of Impulse’s roommates, who is replacing Demetrius.

They all show up to the mermaid pendant merchant on different rainy days, probably in the summer since there’s a higher chance of storms during the summer, and he sells them all pendants cause he doesn’t realize that they’re intending to propose to each other.

You can even have all of their pets thanks to the new update!

Scott could also be the traveling merchant because honestly I keep calling the traveling merchant “Scott Smajor” they look so alike.
