SuperBowl Sunday feat. The full Villain House
Since today is Superbowl Sunday I thought of this so here is a little treat + Villains just being silly goofy
Valentine smiles running down the stairs from his room, he enters the livingroom looking toward the kitchen where Kira and Pucci enjoy their coffee at the table. Valentine walks over to them beaming Kira glances up towards Valentine but continues to read his paper. “What’s gotten you in a good Valentine?” Pucci looks up at Valentine who is now pouring himself a cup of coffee “Well! Today is a special day for American football called.. Superbowl Sunday football is such a great American sport.” he sighs a proud look on his face. Kira sighs, getting up putting his cup into the sink “My guess you're going to want to go shopping?” Kira again sighs, already grabbing his wallet and car keys. Valentine smiles nodding as he runs out of the door slightly crashing into the frame of the door. Kira turns towards Pucci “Will you be coming?” Pucci sips his coffee “I will pass, When lord Dio gets up I will inform him of today's events.. Could you also grab a bottle of wine for him.” Kira nods, walking towards the door Diego stumbles down the stairs “I WANNA COME!” Kira slightly becomes irritated at the blonde “You can come but I swear you better behave.” Diego nods harshly running towards the car. Kira finally starts to walk towards the car but a hand on his shoulder stops him. He shoves the hand off of him and turns towards the person, it being Doppio. “Can I come?” Kira groans and nods and Doppio smiles while
walking to the car Kira follows behind him. Finally in the car Kira looks back at the three making sure each one of them is buckled up. Valentine plays with the radio stopping at the country music. He hums along as Diego and Doppio chat in the backseats. They arrive at the grocery, entering the store Diego grabs a shopping cart encouraging Doppio to sit in the cart. Kira walks up to them both shoving Diego away from the cart and starting to wheel it away. “Way to be a buzz kill Kira” Diego sticks his tongue out at the other blonde. He rolls his eyes. “Wait where did the other two go-?” he turns toward Diego to see he also ran off somewhere. Kira sighs walking towards the aisles with produce he hums walking along the isles sneaking glances at the hands of some of the women. (Time Skip) Kira finishes off his idea of what a superbowl sunday meal is as he walks over to the register. He sees the three other men walking toward him. Valentine gets to Kira first, dropping some items into the cart, as the other two do as well. Kira picks up the assortment of plastic cups, paper plates, napkins, and random decorations that are american flagged theme. Valentines smiles. Doppio's item was just a bag of Haribo gummy frogs. Diego had a bunch of chips and candy food that Kira considers junk. “You can only get one sweet. I'm not buying you all of this.” Diego grumbles running to put all the stuff back he comes back with only a bag of sour candy and dino nuggets his favorite. (Time skip to when they get home) Kira opens the front door holding most of the bags as Valentine holds one or two. “We're back!” Diego yells. The four walk into the living room, Kira walking toward the kitchen
ignoring the three men in the living room. Dio yawns as he is splayed on the couch, Pucci is sat next to him as Kars is at the far side of the couch. “Welcome back!” Pucci gets up to help Kira put everything away with Pucci's help. Kira glances toward the tv where a show about an office was playing; he paid no mind to it as Diego changed the channel. Kars gets up moving toward the group in the kitchen. Doppio sits next to Diego on the floor as they watch some mindless show eating the candy they got. Kars moves and lets out a questioning noise “Hmm so what is this all for some human holiday?” Dio glances at the man who is slightly taller than him” Dio scoffs “Even I Dio knows that this is some human sport related holiday it revolves around football. Do you know what that is ‘Ultimate being.” He snickers. Kars gives Dio a glare about to reply back Valentines interrupts “Its okay if you don't know what it is Kars I the 23rd American President will help! Today is the end of the Football season with the final game that takes place on a sunday called Superbowl Sunday. If you don't know what football is, its-” Valentines continues to ramble on to Kars while he nods while listening to the man. Kira grunts rubbing his temples at the loud talking and the sounds of the TV, he focuses his attention back on cooking the wings. He finishes seasoning the wings as puts them into an air fryer and starts taking out the cheese platter he bought along with some chips and dip Diego wanted. He hums to himself ignoring the group who are now all sitting on the couch watching the pretalk and adds before the game starts. Kira brings out the platters to the coffee table in front of the
couch with the help of killer queen holding some of the plates. “I swear to god if any of you get food on my couch I will use killer queen to kill all of you.” he glares at the group walking away. The air fryer alarm goes off as Kira walks to it. The Door bell rings as Pucci excuses himself to go answer it. Pucci opens the door to be met by a certain older man. Joseph holds a tin tray covered with tinfoil “Yes?” Pucci stares at him not wanting to inform Dio or Kars of who is at the door. “I made some extra burgers and was wondering if you guys wanted some.” He smiles rubbing the back of his neck. The tension between the jobro home and the villain home was civil at the moment and Pucci was one of the people trying to keep it that way. “Ah- thank you Mr. Joestar.” Joseph hands the tray to Pucci as he takes it, giving him the best smile he can. Pucci closes the door and walks toward the kitchen he puts the tray down on the counter as he looks towards Kira who is putting the wings on a plate for each person. “Is that from whoever was at the door?” Kira looks over at Pucci “Yes it was from the neighbors they were barbecuing and decided to give us some.” Kira tenses up slightly but his face doesn't change. “Hmm how ‘thoughtful’ of them. Please go set them out there.” Pucci nods, placing the burgers at the coffee table. No one questions where the food is from, the first person to take one of the burgers was Diavolo he looks down at the burger taking a bite of it. Some of the others take a burger while the rest snack on chips and cheese. Kira brings out a plate of wings for each person, Dio glances up at him “Hmm this is not enough for me I Dio want more.” Kira irks “Everyone gets the
same amount just stop complaining and eat them.” Kira huffs grabbing the drinks and cups bringing them over to the group. Finally Kira was done serving everyone he could finally sit down and enjoy the game. He wasn't even interested in the game but just the idea of peace to just sit down and eat was enough to make him content.

The House Of Villains Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Game Night
They were all doing their thing- Diavolo and Doppio chatted together, Dio sat on the couch watching an animal documentary with Kars, Santana was still in the attic, Esidisi and Wamuu talked at the table, and Pucci dusted. They didn't do much else until Kira opened the door when coming home from work.
Dio turned off the TV, bringing Kars back to reality. Everyone turned to Kira when they heard the television shut off. "Kars, could you get Santana?" Dio asked politely. Kars immediately went up to the attic.
.
..
...
"Put me down!" Santana shouted. Kars went down the stairs, holding Santana on his shoulder. Kars put the younger of the four pillar men on the couch, then sat on his bean bag.
"Now that Kira is home, I have an idea to share." Dio began. Kira had an idea about what Dio was going to say. It was going to be something outrageous. "We are not normal, and if we continue our ways, our neighbors are going to see it. What we need to do is act normal, and what better way than a family tradition? We are going to try something called 'Family Game Night'."
Silence... Was it from awe? Or disgust? Or even-
"Okay. It's simple, all you have to do is play board games." Kira stepped towards the stairs before being stopped by Pucci's question.
"Do we even have board games? The closest thing we have to a game is tarot cards but we don't have a full deck." Enrico asked simply.
Kira didn't think about that. He wasn't the type to play games, he was the type to do work, so he sold his board games. "Well, we can always get some. It's not like we're too poor for it. Let's go to the store. Besides, I have things to pick up for me and my girlfriend."
"Ooh, I didn't know you had a girlfriend!" Dio exclaimed.
"Congratulations, you finally got one!" Doppio smiled from ear to ear.
"Don't tell me it's the cat." Wamuu closed his eyes disapprovingly.
Kira scoffed. "You all are so rude." Yoshikage began to put his work stuff back in his room then stopped. "She's human by the way."
- Time Skip brought to you By: Disrespecting Businessmen -
Getting dressed like normal people, which they obviously were not, and a few getting their parasols, led them out the door. Kira began to lead before Dio rushed to the front. "Let me." He smiled. As the leader of this group, Dio just HAD to lead. Dio started to walk in front of the Joestar house before he stopped.
"Why'd you stop?" Kira spoken quietly, partially glaring at the captain.
Dio smirked sweetly, as if he was in front of a lover of his. He appeared bold to the others, but to the cat lover, he looked like his title was "Super Stupid". "Where's the store?" The blonde vampire fluttered his eyelashes, holding the parasol between his jaw and shoulder while his hands held his knees as he crouched to be at eye level.
Kira sighed. "Just follow me." They continued, this time with Kira in the lead and Dio right behind. The villainous cast spoke to each other as they walked behind Kira. Dio started to strike up a conversation with Pucci, but Pucci immediately dismissed him.
They looked around at their neighborhood, several houses and people were around the area. The homes on one side of the street had a bunch of friendly people- like that kid in a baseball player outfit around house number 1506, or the teen with a mostly shaved head and pompadour with the older blonde boy that has the braid.
All that friendliness was enough to make some of the villains question this neighborhood. With those happy faces, it was hard to be in a bad mood. It's like the happiness was rubbing off on them while rubbing them the wrong way. Dio thought about it then shrugged. Kars was glancing around for squirrels that he saw on TV. Kira stayed serious, and continued leading. Doppio and Diavolo spoke back and forth with each other. Pucci strutted as if he wasn't a sucker for God.
It was taking five-ever. Everyone, excluding Kira, wished it was right around the corner. Past the "For Sale!" homes, and past the other blocks, it took at least three minutes. Well, it would've taken three minutes but Kars found a squirrel and a hawk started following Dio. The hawk presumably got the chain holding it broke and flew away, looking for a new owner since it had a collar and purple scarf. What a fancy bird.
But the bird may or may not be important. The hawk followed them all the way to the store, then waited by the door. The villain group stepped inside, Kars and the two older pillar men struggled a bit (especially Kars) Santana fit through perfectly though.
The part of the group that was foreign to this place (that is totally not Wal-Mart) looked around in awe. They put away their parasols and held them by their sides. "Hi welcome to Wal-Mart!" A lady at the front said with a smile.
As if the woman smashed a bottle and yelled "scatter!", they began walking around. Dio read the sign that said "woman's" and just HAD to see the panty section. Pucci joined him, hoping he wasn't doing what he thought he was doing. Diavolo and Doppio went to the technology section. Kars and Wamuu gone to the pet area. Esidisi and Santana went to the toy section. Leaving Kira alone. Yoshikage looked behind him and saw nobody.
"This is just great. Everyone left faster than me saying 'Bite the Dust'." Kira spoke to himself. "Come on darling. Let's find them." He looked in his jacket pocket to speak to his girlfriend.
- Time Skip Brought to you By: Bite Za Dusto
Since Kira was going to the game area and it was right next to the toy section, Kira grabbed a few games and put it in the cart that he grabbed off screen. He heard the angsty teen's voice. "I don't want dolls, I want- wait that one is actually kinda cute... Can I have him?" Santana nearly shouted at first but his voice died down after he found the most handsome doll.
Kira gone to the doll isle and saw the two- Esidisi was explaining how Kira would get it for him as Santana held a doll with blonde hair and blue eyes. The blonde cat lover coughed. "Come on you two, let's find the others." Santana slightly pouted like he REALLY wanted the doll. "Put it in the cart." The redhead thanked Yoshikage and put the doll in there.
The three gone past the technology section but paused when seeing the pink haired boys looking at phones. They seemed to be agreeing on something, when Kira got closer, the men saw a figure of a manga character in Doppio's hands.
"I could always get it for you. But I forgot my wallet." Diavolo explained before Doppio started looking glum.
"How much is it?" Yoshikage's serious voice cut through to their ears. Doppio's face lit up from the darkness of the other's words.
Doppio checked the price on the bottom and read it aloud. "Twenty dollars." Kira nodded to the cart, signaling him to put the figure in the cart. The pink haired boy done as he was "told", and set the manga character in the cart.
"Now, where are those last few?" Kira asked himself. Suddenly, he remembered Kars' love for animals. To the pet section!
The pink haired boys joined the party!
They all moved forward to the pet section. Moving in different walks, past the fabric and sewing area, to that isle with supplies for small animals, reptiles, and fish. To their avail, they saw the long purple hair and short blonde hair of Kars and Wamuu. The isle also had Jolyne and Jotaro, looking at fish.
Wamuu and Kars looked at the group, holding a play pen for small animals. "Put it in." Kira sighed. They done just that. "Now, where's the last two?"
"No! I refuse to wear female underwear!" The group heard none other than Pucci, shouting about panties. "I am clearly a man!"
"Why is a man shouting about underwear, dad?" Jolyne tried to contain her laughter.
Jotaro smirked. "Good grief."
Oh no. The villains thought and rushed to the feminine area. Once they got there, Esidisi covered Santana's eyes so that he couldn't see the- um- interesting area. But everyone else there could see, clear as day, Dio grinning while holding a thong and bra and Enrico blushing with wide eyes.
"It would look great on you..." Dio spoke in a sing-song voice.
"No it would not! Besides, that kind of underwear is so sinful!"
"Would you prefer cheeky?" Pucci's blush darkened at the words that spilled from the blonde's mouth.
Kira groaned. "Shut it. If he doesn't want it, leave it be. We have to buy this stuff, so let's go to check out."
"Alright~" Dio sang. Enrico moved towards the check out. "Let's get it anyway." He whispered.
"Fine but if I wake up to screams of terror, I'm throwing you out." Yoshikage threatened. Dio shrugged and followed Enrico after putting the underwear in the cart. Esidisi removed his hand from over Santana's eyes, and walked with the group.
- Time Skip brought to you By: I can see your panties... (SICK JOJO REFERENCE) -
As the cashier scanned items, Kira couldn't keep his eyes off of her hands. The lady tried handing the bags to him, but he was too focused on her lovely, dainty hands. "Sir?" She asked, snapping him back to the real world. "Your bags."
"Oh, thanks." He felt awkward but took the bags and paid up. "Have a nice day, Adrian." He took back his card then speed-walked to the door.
"Ugh, Kira wait up!" Dio nearly stood for to long until realizing Kira was nearly out the door. The cashier giggled and smiled.
Kars and the other pillar men followed. Enrico was close behind. "Thank you so much!" Doppio blushed.
"Here's our number." Diavolo held out a piece of paper with numbers written on it for the lady to take. Before she could take it, Doppio snatched it away, then ran away. "Doppio, don't try to leave me!" He shouted and ran to the exit.
The cashier sighed. "Cute, aren't they?" A Burger King worker spoke to the cashier.
"Yeah, Aimi. They sure are." She responded.
"Miss? Do you know where this address is? I'm not from around here."
- Time skip Brought to you by: An Unnamed Man asking a cashier for directions! -
Once they got home, they immediately looked at the games Yoshikage got. Monopoly, Uno, The Game Of Life, etc. But one definitely caught their eyes. A game called Villainous. But (to avoid copyright) they played Uno.
"Ok. We are not allowed to use our stands to cheat. That's the only rule I have." Kira set up the game by handing out seven cards to those who were playing. Santana played video games in the attic, Esidisi watched Santana play those games, Wamuu and Doppio cheered on their leaders, as the other five played Uno. "And to make sure we aren't cheating, they will be watching us play."
Dio already knew what he would do. "The World!" The World came out of the card and stopped time. "Will you help me? All you have to do is stop time when I give you a signal."
The World stared, then shook his head. "I refuse."
"What?! No! I have to win!" The World resumes time after Dio exclaims.
Kira put the collar on the pink housecat and Killer Queen appears. "Let's win this Kira!"
Diavolo rubbed the gem and King Crimson stands behind him. "We got this." Diavolo and King Crimson both say in unison.
Pucci puts the disc in the portable DVD player and crawling out of the screen was Whitesnake. Once he gets out, he sighs. "It sure was cramped in there..."
Everyone looked at the cards that were handed out and the game was decided. A green nine. Dio was first, and he played a green seven. "Easy as that." He said cockily.
"So, we have to match colors?" Kars asked.
"You can match colors, or numbers. If you don't have a cards that match the number or color, then you draw from the deck until you get something to play or until you reach four cards." Kira explained.
Kars nodded. "What does this card do?" He pulled out a plus four. Kira's eyes widened, knowing he was next.
Dio burst out laughing. "If you play that card then the next person gets four cards and you change the color." He tried to stop the laughter by talking but he nearly coughed when doing so. "So, what are you going to do?"
Kars hummed in thought, then he took a card. Before placing it down, or even where the others could see, he looked at Wamuu. "Of course, sir." Dio felt he knew what card he was going to place, so he smirked and crossed his arms. He would have the upper hand against the ever-so-lucky Yoshikage Kira.
Kars soon placed the card after Wamuu gave the signal of approval. Or what I, the Narrator, like to call "The F*ck Yes Do it!" signal. Only be- oh sh*t.
Dio, I'm sorry, but your prediction was incorrect.
A blue seven.
Dio looked at the card Kars placed, then at Kars, then back at the card, Kars, card- this could go on.
But before you continue...
Try saying "Kars Card" ten times fast.
Ready? Cool.
Dio saw what was going on. Kars was trying to get the turns reversed so he could play the plus four on Dio. But Kars didn't understand much about human culture, right? He only really understood animals. Dio thought to himself about how HE'S the ultimate being and how Kars shouldn't be called that.
When he smirked, Kira knew what was going through the vampire's mind. I don't need to repeat.
Kira's turn was a simple blue three. Killer Queen pouted. I know. I could've done worse. Kira thought to him and the Queen.
"Oh! That one!" The younger pink haired boy pointed at a card and the older of the two placed it. The game continued and rage ensued until a winner was decided. The winner was Kira. Who wouldn't have guessed that the ever-so-lucky Yoshikage Kira would win?

A Rose In Harlem
OC x Erik Story
Based on Teyana Taylor’s VII & KTSE

Chapter IX: Rize
February 6, 2014
22 HOURS BEFORE SHOWTIME.REHEARSAL, NINE PM.
"Ladies, Gents! Find Seats! Sit in them!" All twenty-four models followed Yani's request. We just wrapped our rehearsal, everyone did phenomenal. I can only pray that we get it like this at 583 Park Ave. Yani and I have been thee dynamic duo for the past seventy-two hours. I've been steaming outfits, she's been bagging accessories. I've been designing roll-away walls, she's been contacting every contractor in her contacts to design the black and gold glitter floors.
Honestly, in the past month, Yani and I have been on our hustle. I finished my last shoot and have been on go since. Erik and I have basically been like two ships passing in the night. I usually would leave before him, and come home after he arrived. We never talked about my father's birthday, our kiss..well..kisses. None of it. I've been too busy. Yasin and I have been texting here and there, but I haven't seen him either. He's been understanding about it though. The only person I've been spending my time with is Yani.
We've collectively gotten maybe eight hours of sleep in three days. So now, we're just exhausted and over it. We're trying to get this rehearsal over and done with. The theater's silence is my queue to step on the stage, I do so, scanning my models faces. They're looking like kids on Christmas Eve. So excited for what the next day has to bring. Their faces make me grateful, my smile spreads and everyone breaks out in applause. I decipher a few, "Yeah Syd!" "You did it girl!" and "Woos" in the crowd, I yield my hands up and down, they lower their yells. "Hey everybody, We're down to the wire here. We're less than a day away. We've been working our asses off for a month and a half. I couldn't have ever gotten this done without any of you. I'm excited for everyone to see our hard work. I'm even more excited for you to see your hard work pay off."
I point to Iyo in the control center, He dims the lights and lower the projector screen. "I now present to you.. UPTXWN." Applause rings out as the projector displays a drone clip of High Bridge among the sunrise and Syd's voiceover, "Uptown, Home of the greats. From The Bronx, to Harlem. The place I know, the place I love." The six models she started with appear on the screen, daringly sitting on the railing, laughing with one another in their high end garments. "Our hustles.. It always had this special..thing about it. We always went a little harder. Thought a little smarter. Emerged to the top a bit faster." Photos of me and all of Uptown's finest begins scrolling through from right to left. From a photo of me and Dapper Dan when I was fresh out of college. Diddy and I when I was an intern at Chanel. With Kerry Washington a bit after Save the Last Dance came out when I was twelve. Sistah Souljah, Kid Capri, Bianca (aka Young B), Cam'ron, Juelz, and Jim Jones back when Rock-a-fella were still together, Kalis, and finally, A$AP Mob & me when they were fresh in the game back in 2011.
"And when we're on top, we set trends. We define eras. Their stamps will forever be evident in our culture. Here's mine. Here's UPTXWN." All of the photos scroll backwards and the screen goes black for a few seconds. Images of the Big L tribute wall outside of the Harlem Up Deli Market, in black and white appear, then the same original six models; Sam, Levi, Von, Jade, Deanna, and Cass kneeling at different levels, crowded around the wall. Making sure not to block his face or name. Then Pretty Flako instrumental bangs through the theater's speakers. The TV flake transition changes to the Bailey house shoot. The drone shot pans around the corner of the property, all twenty four models posing looking like royalty draped in over $80,000 worth of clothes collectively. The visual pans over to a slowed down visual of Nina flashing her bottom grill, her thick frame vibing out to the up tempo beat. Then to Xierra kneeling beside her, giving face in her side profile. The screen shortly displays a wide pan of the property and models again, then switches to Levi. Iyo's suggested scene of displaying the details of his tattoos on his shirtless body-- while simultaneously showing the VVS necklace, the embroidery on the custom one of a kind jean jacket; came out perfectly.
The photos of each model in each of their looks scroll through at the right speed so each detail is fully displayed. Every model stands up, showing off as their photos went across the screen. As Gina's photoset emerges, I turn to the screen so I can roll my eyes. I instantly become reminded of how flirty she was with Erik before Yani had to snatch her up to take these. Yani stands beside me, peeping the entire scene, "Girl, suck it up. She in it now. Let's get it over with." I shake it off, turning back to the models.
The park Marcus Garvey Amphitheater scene pops up, it was a gloomy overcast. Which was perfect for the theme. As the looping instrumental repeats, each model was either sitting at the top of the folding seats, or crouched on the seat of the folding seats. The collective total of every look? $110,878. I'm lucky I got such great relationships with these clients and these models didn't fuck up any of they shit. The first visual was Von, on the center stage. His long hair hanging over his entire face. He rocked this black long open hooded jacket, shirtless. Displaying his massive musical themed chest piece. It gave me a grim reaper vibe that I was definitely looking for. The jacket was a piece I asked Chris Brown's people to create for their Black Pyramid line. They fucked with the vision and agreed to do it. Von flipped the bottom of the jacket back with force, the rest of the models appeared on stage, smoke filled the stage floor as the all black visual came to life. Gina and Cass rocked matching contrast dresses, Cass was the only model not in black that day. I put her in a white intricate lace Erdem Dress. Gina wore the matching Black dress.
Jade and Deanna were back to back. Jade was wearing a black deep v neck, with a leather ribbed comme des garcons jacket. With a cascading gold necklace reaching her stomach. Accompanied with black and gold aviator Louis Vuitton shades, Black ripped Levis I thrifted on the East side, and Jefferey Campbell's Legion booties. Deanna was wearing my favorite outfit of that day. A black long sleeved Oscar De La Renta ruffled shirt with cut out shoulders, a Burberry black ruffled skirt, and black Averil Doc Martin boots. Her bamboos and three finger ring spelling out her name put a street edge on her look that was near and dear to my Harlem bred heart. GG beat every woman's face and gave them the same cohesive smokey eye with the black, In The Spirit MAC lipstick. The only difference makeup wise was Cass' white undereye liner.
Once again the photos of every model starts cascading slideshow style. Johan was my second favorite look for that shoot, He rocked a black high low long sleeved Alexander Wang shirt, black distressed Givenchy jeans, and his personal black on black Ralph Lauren Hi Boots. I was going to put him in some other shoes, but I saw the ones he had on and they looked way better with the fit. We accompanied that look with a black Cuban link necklace, the matching bracelet, and Dolce & Gabana retro flip up round glasses.
Everyone's rave reactions trigger my tears of joy, it's all of our first times seeing the visual's final product and I couldn't be any more proud. This has really been my baby. I've nurtured it, I've put in the work for it. This moment was like its graduation. Everyone looks at me, "Awwwwww!" Yani gives me a big hug, "I'm proud of you, kid." I squeeze her, "I'm proud of us, kid." I push out a laugh.
The final shoot displayed the brownstones on Mount Morris Park, the street right outside of Marcus Garvey Park. Where my parents' old brownstone was. I only needed my original six for this one, since all twenty-four wouldn't fit on the stoop. That day, it was sunny. Not one cloud in sight. Perfect lighting for the intimate shoot. The theme was spring, specifically, pastel colors.
I dressed Jade in a pastel yellow Ted Baker maxi dress, I accessorized her outfit with vintage canary yellow teardrop earrings with a matching tennis bracelet. She wore some nude Christian Louboutin spiked peep toed heels. She stands up when she finds her face and yells while twerking, "Long Hair! Red Bottoms! Long Hair! Red Bottoms!" Everyone, including me burst out in laughter. She kept saying it so much during the shoot, I let her keep them. Paid the $1,500 tab too. Deanna was draped in a Monroe and Main white two piece suit with black accents on the collar and cuffs. We accompanied that with my personal pearls I got from my mom before she passed, some white Manolo Blahnic pumps, and some VVS diamond earrings while her hair popped in the sunlight. She wore her low cut with a rose gold tint. I put Cass in a pair of nude Emilio Pucci wide legged trousers, a White Alexander McQueen peplum top, and a matching nude blazer was draping over her shoulders. Her accessories was a silver double C Chanel choker, charm rings from Tiffany Co., and a vintage Chanel crossbody, gifted from Karl Lagerfeld himself. He said I needed something old for my collection.
The guys were matching my girls' fly. Von parallels Deanna with a Tom Ford cotton two piece suit, I laced him with some white Versace loafers with the gold Medusa emblem on the center, with the Cuban link chain Johan wore at the Marcus Garvey shoot, and golden Panthere De Cartier rounded sunglasses. Levi's parallel was for Jade's look. He wore a pastel yellow Calvin Klein. Accompanied with a large size canary ring on his index finger, and the Burberry vintage loafers. Sam paralleled Cass, in a nude ASOS suit with the matching vest. I kept it simple and just accessorized it with my dad's gold pocket watch and black Stacy Adams dress shoes.
I thought the presentation was over, but then the screen transitioned to me working behind the scenes. Me pointing and directing at the Bailey house, with the wind blowing like crazy, me filming on Highbridge at the crack of dawn, Iyo even snuck some footage of the meeting we had in Morningside Park. It looks like Yani snuck some footage of me putting the image board for the fashion show stage together as well. I'm just admiring the scene of watching the hard nights and amazing days I shared with an incredible team. The last shot was me sitting on my old stoop. I was just reminiscing, thinking of how my mom, dad, and I would eat ice cream in the spring in the same spot. I looked up, as I normally do when thinking of them, put my hands together and mumbled, 'allah , shkraan lak.' The camera was too far to catch my phrase. Afterward I bowed between my legs so I could have my emotional moment to myself.
Everyone hops on the stage to crowd around me and initiated a group hug. Once everyone slightly disbursed, I see Gina still sitting in the audience with Erik, I guess he just got here. I hear the doors open again and see Yasin, smiling at me.
--
By half past 10, everyone had gone home except for Yani, Nina, Gina, Erik, and Yasin. Nina is waiting on Rashad to pick her up, and I guess Gina is looking to Erik to take her home. She's literally been all up under him since his arrival.
"Tomorrow's gonna go great, babe. You got a great team behind you, you've been super focused. It can't go any other way." Yasin lands a kiss on my temple as I blush at his encouragement. I blink in Erik's direction, he's giving the same look he gave us at Rashad's party. He then grips Gina, pulling her closer to him, "Yeah. You got it Syd. We gon head out. See ya later." with that, Erik and Gina strut to the exit. Nina's phone dings, "Oh, bae is here! See ya tomorrow Syd! We gon kill it, boo!" She hugs me and Yani then jogs out the double doors, "Nice seeing you again Yasin!" he nods, "You too!"
--
"So tell me something about you, Sin! I've only talked about me when I see you. What was lil Yasin like?" We are strolling down Saint Nick Avenue after getting grilled jerk chicken from King Barka. We decide to sit on a park bench right outside Saint Nick Park to chat since I wasn't quite ready to go home. "Well, I was born and raised in Brooklyn. Flatbush. My moms is from Brooklyn as well. My dad's side of the family is from Harlem, the eastside, but they love uptown just as much." I grin as he continues, "I was a bad ass kid growing up. Always fighting, getting into trouble at school, I even got expelled in middle school." "Well damn! How did you go from that to--" I wave my hands around his silhouette, "This?" He takes a bite out of his chicken and flashes a sexy smile, "My mom sent me to live with my Uncle. The one that retired and gave me the maintenance business."
"Ahhhh, I see. He whipped you into shape?" He snorts, "Oh, he whipped me alright. A lot. He taught me what it is to be a man." "Where was your father?" He continues eating, pausing his story for a spell, "Uh.. He was in prison. He pushed weight for about ten years, he got caught up. He didn't snitch, so he got twenty. He got out after eight years for good behavior." "How's your relationship with him now?" He shugs, "We're cool. We had a little spat when he first got out. I had to be the man of the house for a while for my moms and sisters. I resented him for it." I take a hold of his free hand, "We patched things up recently." "So him and your mom still married?" He nods, "Yeah. Moms held him down. That lady.. She deserves the world." He finishes his dish as he glows at the mention of his mother.
"She had to get two jobs before I turned sixteen and worked with my Uncle. She held down our household for three years, alone, before I was able to step in and help her. After that, she went back to school. She finished the year before my pops got out, now she's a nurse. Doing what she loves to do." "That's great. That's what life is about, doing what you love." "Definitely." He throws away our empty plates and we keep walking down the avenue, "So what do you love to do Yasin?" "I love music." I stop in my tracks.
"Let me guess, you rap?" he sucks his teeth, "Nah, girl. I play instruments. Three; Acoustic guitar, piano, and snare drum." "Ah, okay! When did you discover your talent?" "I was... ten, I think?" "You make songs?" He pulls a slick move behind me, grabbing me by my waist. I roll my eyes as we continue to walk, "I haven't made a song in five years." "Why not?" I feel him shrug behind me, "I've been busy." I turn around to grab his hands, "You're never too busy to do what you love." He smiles at me, I sense the same glow about him that he had when he spoke of his mom. "Especially when it makes you this happy...just talking about it." Yasin closes the gap between us, "Maybe, you're right. Look at you. Doing what you love. You're inspiring Syeda. Beautiful, too." He strokes my left cheek with his palm. I freeze, much like I did a couple weeks back in my apartment with Erik.
Speaking of Erik, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do about what happened since my dad's birthday. I guess Erik knows what he wants, and that's Gina. So why am I freezing? What's stopping me? All of a sudden my inner thoughts are silenced when Yasin seals our distance, gently kissing me. My knees buckle and he hoists me up by my butt, cuffing the bottom of my cheeks. That makes me even weaker, he breaks off from me, "Damn girl. You good?" My eyes flutter as I respond, "Yeah. Yeah. I'm good." I pull him by his shirt to kiss him again.

[ad_1] By now we’ve all come to terms with the fact that scrunchies are back. And “bigger” than ever. Although not all hair ties are created equal. Some are just sartorially flat and purely functional. So we decided to hunt down some truly stylish scrunchies that enhance, not detract from, any ensemble.Normally we would place hair accessories under the beauty category. Not this time. Why? Because these pieces are so fashion-forward they up the ante on every single outfit. They’re must-have accents, like an It bag or platform sandals. They can even tie a simple low ponytail into your look of the day. Read: These babies aren’t meant for holding back your locks while you wash your face. No, they’re meant to be seen and appreciated.Thankfully, there are plenty of options out there. Especially when it comes to the major fashion houses. Prada, Saint Laurent, Versace, Emilio Pucci, Miu Miu, Burberry and Etro are just a handful of examples. The designer versions are a great way to show your logo love. Scandals. i can not help but bring it up while casually scanning his eyes for a glimmer of guilt, trying to find a particular reddening round the collar, trying to catch the whiff of women's perfume when he leans in to hug me and promises he'd never, ever forsake me for anyone else.
Despite continued vigilance, I've yet to seek out any clues that my husband is joking . The deepest recesses of his closet hold only lint balls. The messages on his voice mail at work are dull and mundane. The mastercard statement contains no mysterious charges, besides the revelation that Hubs eats much more barbeque for lunch than he admits to. Okay, okay, I are often a snoop- but only after I've watched an episode of Cheaters and gotten tears in my eyes as Two-Toned Tammy screams "We got a baby together! We got a baby together! How could you are doing this to me!" at her philandering boyfriend-of-six-years after catching him within the Popeye's parking zone together with her roommate/sister/best friend. I'm not alone in my snooping, either. Hubs likes to point out up within the middle of the day sometimes, unannounced, just to "see what I'm up to." once I went out of town with the youngsters a couple of months ago, I returned home to get that he'd skilled my entire bathroom cabinet, checking out God-knows-what. He's also admitted to Googling my ex-boyfriends. I find this type of thing flattering. I've told Hubs i do not ever need a boyfriend. But I've admitted that i might adore a lover . My admirer would be quite handsome, enough to offer my husband pause, but he'd even be an advocate of code of conduct and would have a "look-but-don't-touch-EVER-not-even-when-you're-both-a-little-drunk-and-there's-no-one-around" quite sensibility. Instead, my admirer would content himself with sending me flowers (Casablanca lilies) and boxes of candy (Godiva) and books of poems (Neruda), with notes that say things like, "When I saw you in carpool this morning with the sun in your hair, i noticed I had never seen anyone or anything more beautiful." Or "You fold a contour sheet with a grace and perfection that others can only dream of. many thanks for being you." or maybe "You are the most well liked soccer mom this side of the Mississippi. Ah-OOO-gah!" I'm not particular. it is the thought that counts.

Playsuits & Jumpsuits - The New Vintage Must Have!
Let's haughtiness it, the jumpsuit is probably one fashion garment which was not in your wardrobe end year, so credit crunch or not, it may type sense to buy at least one version to claim your shape. A airplane has to erosion something right? So why not make it vintage and uber fashionable?
Cute, versatile and utterly gorgeous, anyone who's anyone is either talking closely or wearing on of the turning coolest way bearing in the example of the jumpsuit or playsuit. This fabulous new bearing started when top designers such as Alexander McQueen showed jumpsuits on the cosmos finest catwalks. McQueen presented both these glamour bird body-con jumpsuits designed with crystallised web - the jumpsuit material has been embedded with luxury crystal pieces that glimmer in a funds that only vertex niche Austrian crystal can. The backwash took the jumpsuit into the realm of exotic, sexy and stylish sunset wear. Us mere mortals may favour something more down to earth, but each one of us can admire the figure-defining cut of these jumpsuits which are bulk reminiscent of knitted lace jumpsuits of the seventies.
Following this massive seal of approval, there is now a wide array of playsuits and jumpsuits available on the high avenue but each and every one income it's inspiration, shape, colour or print from the vintage manner of the past. So this is our plea to all you modes conscious women out there - don't buy sub-standard remakes from high avenue stores, buy the original, well made and long persisting vintage bandage that preceded it!
Somewhere between the sophisticated 1970's wide leg instability jumpsuit and the1980s glitter filled retro jumpsuit, is the softer fashion playsuit. What we see here is a more fun version and which is cropped or designed as a pants playsuit. Vintage playsuits are huge this summer. In a variety of colours, styles and prints, looking great with gladiator sandals and lacework up pumps for the cute yet edgy indie look. Going through into autumn/winter we expect to see the very same beautiful and popular vintage playsuit teamed with luscious chunky opaque tights, brogues and long line cardigans. A more mainstream selection creature the never tiresome and ultra cosy combination of playsuit, leggings and Ugg boots.
Fashion students have always learnt how styles of a previous production are recreated and resurrected in a new paradigm or style. We see this occurrence in dozens lines of modern day fashion, and has prompted the renaissance in the sales of classic vintage dresses, vintage coats, vintage tops, vintage jeans, vintage skirts and vintage accessories. What we are seeing in now is a major way mode for trousers to join up with tops, the aftereffect is the super retro jumpsuit, flying argument or playsuit.
But the all-in-one is certainly no new invention, we have seen this character in key fashion departing back to 1950's swimwear. Most of us pondering of the eighties when we see jumpsuits but the birth of the jumpsuit was actually in the late sixties. In art houses and chic rich haunts worldwide, the shorter playsuit and longer jumpsuit was structure waves. It was classic and simple, think Coco Chanel black and white monochrome beneath a Studio 54 backdrop. In the seventies we saw more loose and fluidity trousers with more fitted tops and halternecks. Perfect with the long wavy flicked hair of the era. In the eighties the jumpsuit was so much more dramatic with big shoulder padding, bare backs, tapered trousers, candy colours, sequins, glitter and feathers. And of encircling as way progressed through the years, so did the array of prints and colours, vivid Pucci and jazzy op-art configuration the biggest impact of all. And of course we cannot forget the instructions resurgence of the all-in-one in the warehouse filled nineties with boiler claim rave chic, all neon, zips and whistles. Perhaps one mode that won't be formations a reappearance! For now, narrow and tapered trouser legs have risen above the ankle. High blouse bands and peg-top carrot shaping condition what was missing at the ankle has been taken relation of above waist.

3 Vintage Sleuths on How to Find Band Tees, Fringe Jackets, and Wacky Wall Art
Exciting news! We’ve launched MR Think Tank, a digital braintrust we want *you* to be part of. We’re kicking it off with a survey that will help us get to know you better, so we can keep making stuff you love. In exchange, you’ll receive exclusive content and other fun things. Interested? Sign up by taking the survey!
Sometimes I lay restless in the night, wondering about other peoples’ hyper-specific search terms, guarded like sapphires at the Smithsonian. What first editions of books do my contemporaries find worthy of rooting around the Internet for? Whose bedroom will finally feel tied together if they have a Valentine Olivetti typewriter perched on their desk? Who will swear off all other vessels if they can carry their wallet and keys in a Christopher Kane jelly clutch? What else do they find on their journeys down these rabbit holes? My curiosity became so overwhelming, so egregious, so probing, that I caved and just asked.
And aren’t I glad that I did: I heard stories that were the 21st century equivalent of Jack Kerouac’s On The Road—the road, in this case, is the information superhighway—and so we’ll be publishing these ditties as a series over the course of this week. The table of contents is like so: first, Ruby Redstone on tracking down a 2013 pair of Acne Studios glitter boots, followed by Tatiana Hambro in her ongoing quest for the Boyy Wonton bag in Olive, Lea Carey who trails flight attendant uniforms by Emilio Pucci, Lauren Chan who struck gold after searching for a shearling aviator coat in plus-sizes and Tafarii McKenzie on the chic makeup bag that eludes her. Read on for today’s installment in the series, below.

Your shopping rabbit hole: I’m always on the lookout for the perfect vintage suede fringe jacket. Has to be cognac or cognac-adjacent in color. Has to be button-front. And has to have fringe included at the back seam on the sleeve!
Can you walk me through what going down this rabbit hole entails? This shopping rabbit hole means perusing Etsy, Poshmark, and eBay predominantly, as I know current suede jackets I like will be out of my price range (and the pursuit of good vintage is fun). I start my search with something like “suede fringe jacket” and narrow by color and size, and get to scrolling. I save to wishlist/”likes” lists like a maniac so I can review my picks after I’m done browsing. I know the fit will be key, so I make sure to gather/request any measurements from sellers that may be missing some garment specs for items I’m seriously considering. I’d say I search this item a few times a week through the aforementioned sites, and not by Google search.
What ultimately satiates the quest? The quest has yet to be satiated… seems like I’ll be able to find my dream suede fringe jacket—the right color with the right fit in a high-quality material (no thin suede!)—when pigs fly.

Your shopping rabbit hole: Vintage band tees, specifically from the fall in the 1980s or Spacemen 3 in the ’90s. Such items, if they surface, are usually in the $1000-range, a.k.a. out of my (and most people’s) budget, but their designs inspire and excite.
Can you walk me through what going down this rabbit hole entails? I probably search monthly. Look out for unworthy reproductions printed on contemporary tees, which inevitably have the wrong fit and none of the years of blood, sweat, and tears that charge these rags with the energy of a thousand fans.
What ultimately satiates the quest? I’ve never actually bought a vintage rock tee online. Hunting for something unaffordable is a great way to keep yourself from spending money!

I have a long-term goal of creating a meaningful wall full of art, which I guess I’m supposed to call a gallery wall. I already have some handmade cards from friends, some paintings by an ex-boyfriend (), some etchings from Picture Room that “spoke to me,” and am now working on collecting found, vintage pieces. This search was sparked while roaming estate sales on Long Island for my business. Lately, it’s just been via Etsy and eBay. I’ve been gravitating toward oddball etchings, prints, and paintings that are also mildly aesthetically pleasing and half the time involve a cute animal.
I start with a simple search term such as “vintage etching,” and I allow that to spiral naturally as I find specific things within that search. The other night, it led me to buying an unrelated turtle-shaped wicker basket, which was the result of a “turtle wearing flower crown” sub-search term. I tend to scroll ‘til my dried-out contacts literally fall off of my eyes and onto my keyboard, and I do not suggest any other way to psychotically rabbit hole. Typically this is a once- or twice-a-week endeavor, but I am particularly deep into it right now, as there’s not much else to do and because I am moving into a new apartment in a month… maybe.
What ultimately satiates the quest?
The winner is generally something that is pre-1985 where my initial reaction is “LOL” and where that reaction doesn’t fade over the time I give it to cool down in my cart. Bonus points if it’s in its original frame. I find myself browsing half-asleep in bed on my phone at night, or lately, hunched over while watching Gilmore Girls midday. I add a bajillion things to my cart as if I had no budget, and many times I do not remember putting it there. I let the options sit in my cart for what feels like a week and slowly filter things out as I get over the initial laugh of it all. I just pulled the plug on what was left of my Etsy cart, which included a thumbprint watercolor painting of three mice, a quilted serigraph of five cats sleeping in a donut shape, and a screenprint of a red jalapeño with a perfectly tied blue bow on its stem. I’m still letting an etching titled “3 Horny Men” stew.
Intrigued? Start your own rabbit hole here.

ofinkandeyre:
Wesley smiled at her suggestion that they do a picnic. “I love that,” he said. “It’s perfect weather for that, too.” It was still cool, but not too cold that being outside for too long would be unbearable as long as they had sweaters and jackets.
He could feel Vivian reaching out to Danny and smiled as she described the fact that his eyes were getting darker. “Bet you he’ll still have your cheeks, though,” he smiled. And more importantly, all of his family would be hers. Danny still had plenty from Vivian to cling to, even if his looks were strongly influenced by himself. “And, you know what, he’s going to have your softness of personality, I bet. He’s going to have your energy for life and your strength. Those things are all much. more important to pass on than just looks.” He rocked Danny again gently. “Right? You’re going to learn a lot from mom, aren’t you? You’re definitely still more than half her.”
He smiled at the image of Danny holding onto her hand, looking at Vivian as if to reassure her. Danny was definitely going to have all of that compassion. “Yeah, let’s get ready. You take him, and I’ll get Poe,” he said as he then held Danny out for Vivian to take hold of now.
.
"Picnic it is, then!" It had been so long since they spent any quality time outside and enjoyed the city. It would be great to finally be able to go out and enjoy each other as a family. "Oh yeah, the cheeks are all there still." Viv smiled widely, leaning in to kiss those chubby cheeks while Danny laughed. Vivian stopped as Wesley spoke and she looked at him, her smile growing at each word of his. "Pucci..." She scrunched her nose and leaned closer to him, stealing a lingering kiss from his lips. She loved that man so, so much. She teased but she wouldn't mind at all if Danny was all his dad because then he'd be absolutely perfect. "Ti amo." She whispered before pulling back and taking Danny in her arms. "Let's go, mini Wes, let's get dressed as ready to go out with mom and dad." She hugged him and he hugged her back happily, babbling all the way back to his room and while Vivian had him on the changing counter. Soon enough she was back in the living room, Danny looking adorable with a sweater and a denim jumpsuit on, and baby Converses, his bag on her arm and stroller ready as well. "We are ready here, Mr. Kulina-Eyre."

New Post has been published on http://vintagedesignerhandbagsonline.com/fashions-unlikely-looks-of-2017-triple-shirting-corbyn-tees-and-a-150-paperclip-fashion/
Fashion’s unlikely looks of 2017 – triple-shirting, Corbyn tees and a $150 paperclip | Fashion
The bath towel v the bathrobe
It was a terrible year for famous men and bathrobes, but a great year for women and towels. Bathwear – or bath-leisure as one magazine called it – became a gendered battleground. With Rihanna in an Emilio Pucci head-towel on Paris Vogue’s cover and Rita Ora in Palomo Spain bathwear at the MTV Europe Music awards, women and towels tipped it away from the alleged bathrobed misdeeds of Harvey Weinstein, Dustin Hoffman and others.
A Doncaster fencing company
When the Heras T-shirt, designed and sold by London bootleg streetwear company Sports Banger, appeared online, it took a fair amount of Googling to reveal that it was the logo of a Doncaster-based company that makes the temporary fences seen at festivals. Sports Banger’s Jon Wright designed it because he was feeling nostalgic for his youth.
Ugly, expensive trainers
It is testament to the creativity of fashion that, in 2017, few could resist the expensive, ugly trainer. The best – and ugliest – were the Balenciaga Triple S trainers. Their appeal proved that fashion likes irony; by wearing them, you got the joke. Plus, in a sickly economy, there’s a certain visual diplomacy that comes with wearing a pair of £595 trainers that look cheap and crap.
Theresa May’s necklace
Our PM took her look in a new direction, with the almost permanent appearance of her “strong and stable necklace”. Essentially a massive silver chain designed to offset a boring outfit, it appeared whenever she was due to discuss the EU, quickly becoming as stale as the catchphrase.
Ivanka Trump’s mismatched earrings
Ivanka’s attempt to reclaim feminism hit a low point when she wore mismatched Marni earrings to a state dinner. This could have been stellar optics, were the fashion industry her target rather than the world. The result was simply to prove that she had read Vogue closely enough to heed its advice on how to wear earrings, but not closely enough to read its unanimously negative coverage of her father’s politics.
Corbyn T-shirts
If Jeremy Corbyn’s silver shell suit caused hysteria in 2016, there was little hope that the fashions of 2017 could resist him. And so it proved as he ended up as the face of the British bootleg industry, appearing on all sorts of DIY T-shirts. The best was probably the Corbyn Nike one (now in the V&A), a mashup that replaced the “Just do it” slogan with the Labour leader’s name. And also worked as a pun on “Corbynite/Nike”. Sort of. Not.
A £145 paperclip
Prada usually takes a backseat when it comes to self-referential irony. This year, its £145 paperclip changed all that. It was a money-clip that looked like a paperclip. Pointless, weird and geared towards the 1%, it was also symptomatic of fashion finding joy, and profit, in the mundane. As we career towards a cashless economy, a money clip will become positively nostalgic.

Spiked Manolos
Melania Trump’s wardrobe for the inauguration provided rich pickings for critics. But few pieces raised eyebrows like the Manolo Blahniks she wore to board the plane for Texas following Hurricane Harvey. The look came to symbolise the disconnect between the first lady and the rest of the world. By the time the plane landed, she was in trainers, but by then it was too late.
Steve Bannon’s triple-shirting
Breitbart may have its own fashion critic, but it was Bannon’s millefeuille of shirts (usually three, according to his spokesperson) that taught us most about far-right style. Theories abounded over the former White House strategist’s look: were they the layers of his nationalist ideology, his winter beach house look, or a cry for help? In the end, it turned out, no one cared.
Brand Bernie
The year’s biggest curveball came in the form of Bernie Sanders’ 2016 campaign logo, which appeared on Balenciaga’s scarves and padded coats. The Vermont senator wasn’t keen, describing the collection as looking “very ‘wealthiest one-10th of the 1% to me’,” but no matter. Sanders keeping you warm in the impending nuclear winter is an enticing prospect.
The Love Island water bottle
In the fight against plastic pollution, it is satisfying to think that newly minted ecowarrior Michael Gove will cite Love Island as his ecospiration. Thanks to the show, luxe water bottles (chiefly, S’well bottles – affordable and slick) have gone from stealth symbols of wellness to environmental must-haves.

The top 5 Milan Fashion Week trends are actually wearable
Milan Fashion Week had many memorable moments. From Donatella Versace‘s ode to her brother Gianni in an epic supermodel salute to Alessandro Michele’s convoluted yet hypnotizing world of Gucci — the fashion collections at Milan were at times beautiful, strange, and incredibly exciting.
And most surprisingly, the hottest trends were wearable, starting with leather — in the form of jumpsuits, skirts, dresses, trousers, and accessories, all spotted throughout MFW, from Fendi to Gucci.
Pop graphics, like those popularized by Andy Warhol and used by Gianni Versace in 1993, were reimagined in Donatella’s tribute collection to her late brother. Miuccia Prada’s show embraced womanhood and featured comic-book illustrations that were screen-printed onto her clothes, displayed within a venue surrounded by the work of established female comic book artists.
But one trend that you can actually try today is pajamas as ready-to-wear. PJ sets in bright, colorful prints were on various runways, from Emilio Pucci to Etro, and Blumarine. In fact, a few fashion editors forecasted the trend by stepping out to shows in their own pajama sets.
Click ahead to see five of the biggest trends to come out of Milan Fashion Week.
