the reason i asked if you’ve seen l&c is cause you take a particular interest in lois as a character, and this series is one of the few times she’s really the star (with a female show runner for s1 to boot)! i watched it after my mom said maws remjnded her of it 😭 and found it to be the much better show. lois especially was huge whiplash. mean, angry, and confident, yet honest, thoughtful, and a bit lonely? i love herrrr. this was before all the superstans had social media checklists of stuff they wanted to see superman to do, so even those moments feel a lot more organically incorporated. the romcom angle, the focus on journalism, all good stuff. dare i say, my fav adaptation of lois? also, the clois chemistry is INSANEEEEE (too bad #he sucks)

Oh yes, Lois being the center of L&C is one of the main reasons I really want to watch it!! And a mean, angry, confident, honest, thoughtful, lonely Lois?? Pls,,, we've been so robbed I miss it when exceptional women characters were allowed to be jaded! The adorkable-disney-princessification of mean accomplished girlies is a CRIME. And if L&C Lois is that good to be a favorite of yours, I should bump this show up on my priorities (I'd like another Lois to stan outside of her Girl Taking Over and Girl Reporter era versions)!
