#the primal urge to practice norse paganism (as a direct descendant of vikings/Scandinavian) as someone#interested in witchcraft/paganism who doesn't want to appropriate other cultures so the natural inclination#is to gravitate towards my OWN ancestry/practices#DIRECTLY CONTRASTED against the deep fear of being confused for a white suprematist/racist/homophobe/transphobe/all around terrible person#is strikingly strong in me this week lol#like. i WANT to study and practice norse paganism bc that's Literally My Ancestry and as such I also have a natural interest in that#general history/culture/practices#At the SAME time#I don't wanna be associated with awful people -.-#I know Most people who are norse pagans are not awful and are very accepting it's just the loud hateful minority who are#but still :/#Funky's personal tag
