gentle? him?

fox is not foreign to want; he's wanted many things. but giving in to those wants has never been for him. ─ but it was different with you. he wanted you and he kept you. you were his; his to smell, his to hold, his to feel, his to keep. he wouldn't let you be taken away from him. for once he gave into that want, went against what his viewers said.

he wanted all of you ─ but he hadn't expected for you to give him all of you.

he hasn't felt want so strong like this in a long time, he realizes when your arms are around his neck and your chest is pressed against his, gasping against his lips in a way that makes his ears stand alert, as if trying to hear every sound you make because of him. (he hates it, it makes him feel like a him that he thinks he's forgotten.) he can feel the bandages that cover your eye rubbing against his cheek, and he can feel your breathing change when his hands wander along the bandages on your abdomen. it's the type of breathing he recognizes as fear, and yet you only deepen the kiss, pull him closer as much as you can in your weaker state.

you say his name, quiet, soft; or at least, the only one you know. ─ and he thinks he should keep it that way. if you knew his real name, it would be too real, it would be too much; he wouldn't know what to do then. ─ to want too much, to give in and have you more than physical. he couldn't.

you yelp, and he's pulled from his thoughts and staring at you as you flinch away from the claws he'd almost curled into your skin. you're looking up at him now, your eye no longer squeezed shut, and glossed over in what he realizes is both tears and lust, want.

your voice is quiet when you speak through your panting, "gentle, please."

his grip on you tightens, and yet, he seems to listen to your plea, his claws running against your skin in a way that wouldn't scar, that wouldn't harm. as if you notice this, you pull him closer again, your hand in his hair, threatening to massage where his ears meet his scalp. and then you're tugging at his shirt and bucking your hips up to meet his.

there's want in your actions that makes him seethe; but he gives in, because he wants it too.
