anyways i think marjolein being trans adds so much depth to the concept of post humans??

like after listening to the ballad of lost hollow, astonishing tales, and the early works, i was just thinking "sure being posthuman sounds like fun but wouldnt it suck after a while? so why do they keep trying to flower people?"

like you can visit all sorts of worlds and experience all sorts of things, but if it were me, i would find myself longing for a normal human life. flowering is something you cant come back from. once you learn youre posthuman, you can never live a normal life again. maybe your new life is more true to yourself, but is it really the best option?

but then i listened to the posthuman war and kaye and marjolein have that conversation about whether this is worth it....

and as someone who sometimes wishes i never realised i was trans, so i could happily live a normal life ..... yeah

i think the posthuman war would make for such a good 4 hour long animated film where everything is exactly the same as the albums, just with animation to go with.

the issue is obviously that animation is time consuming and expensive. and no one would ever want to make a 4 hour long film for something with like 3 fans and that takes hours more albums (+ a podcast) of context to understand 😮‍💨
