#b's ramblings#ive got a job interview on Thursday#for a position that would be fantastic . working with the community archaeology team#outdoor work woth the warden team#surveying and general admin shit that i can probably do in my sleep#and like othrr than the learning curve that comes with a new job on paper i match pretty well#buuuut#the position is a 6month contract with no solid contiuation#and the job im in currently#whilt it is mind numbingly boring#i occasionally get to work with the archaeology team on admin stuff#but i get shouted at daily by the public#however it is a permanent position#and i really dont know if i should go for the short term contract#lose very stable job#and launch myself into the unknown#ir just stay in this position#until i can either figure iut a way to sort my life out and feel something other than ych a fi or end up having to drop out due to ych a fi#ya know#im leaning towards staying in my job#but im gonna go for the interview anyway#panic like hell#screw up my relationship with the Nature Recovery and Archaeology teams and never get to work on the side with them again#or it'll go great. they'll get to know a little more about my background in arch anth#and i can just nicley reject the job and feel shit about waisted opportunities#but feel comfortable knowing i have financial security
