──── ★ I WANT YOUR FEELING AND EVERYTHING IN YOUR FIBER ──── hwang inho x front(wo)man!reader
teaser you’re left pleasantly surprised when the love you’ve been trying to forget all this while shows up as a participant in your games. even more so when you discover his reason for joining.
starring player!hwang inho x front(wo)man!reader count 3.75k genre dark themes, psycho!reader, yandere!reader, gn!reader, borderline obsession, jealousy, hinted murder, smut but not too much, masturbation, reader is lowkey a creep but aren’t we all, implied angst, cliffhanger ending
a/n we need more of psycho reader content !! everywhere i look i only find yandere characters, WHERE ARE THE YANDERE READERS???
Your eyes froze on the file you had just opened.
Player 132 Name: Hwang Inho Social Security Number: 760202-1171651 Born: 02/02/1976
That date. That name. That face. You knew it. You remembered it all too well. It was as though time stopped. Every smile, every word, every fight that left you breathless in its aftermath — it was all staring right back at you, etched on this piece of paper in your hands.
What the hell was he doing here?
Occupation: Unemployed.
Unemployed? That didn’t make any sense. He had always dreamed of becoming a police officer, and you’d believed in him more than he believed in himself. You could still hear his voice from years ago: “I’ll wear the badge one day, you’ll see. Then I’ll make everything right—everything for us.”
What had happened? Your eyes slid towards the end of the page. You read the word ‘bribery’. Bribe? The Inho you knew would never have done that without a reason.
Your grip on the folder tightened. Where had all that conviction gone? What had happened to his dream?
Your fist clenched and slammed onto a button. Almost immediately, the door opened to reveal one of the guards. His mask was a Circle.
“More information on 132. Now,” you spoke, though the mask covering your face made your own voice seem foreign to you.
“Yes, ma’am!” the guard stammered. He straightened up as if scared to upset you, took the file from your hands and bolted to the printer in the corner of your office. The printer hummed faintly, spitting out the file you’d just requested at a slow, tantalizing pace, as if mocking the Circle guard for his nervousness around you.
But what could the guard do? You were ruthless. He had heard you had shot one of the Square guards dead for losing track of the Recruiter’s movements the other day. And the next, you had shot a Triangle one for missing a target during practice.
The sound of your foot tapping impatiently on the tiled floor made him second-guess choosing the Red Ddakji. The Circle guard shifted nervously as your pace grew faster. He knew better than to keep you waiting, but what could he do?
The printer finally released the paper, and the guard practically tripped over himself to hand you the file back before flying out of the room. The door hissed shut behind him, leaving you alone with the thick silence of your office. You exhaled sharply, glancing back at the file still sitting on your lap.
Residence: 37-124, Chunghyeon-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.
You stared at the address for a long moment, lost in thought. He had always had big dreams, and an even bigger ounce of determination to achieve it. Why was he stuck behind in the same place he had grown up? The same place he had sworn he’d leave behind?
Your fingers curled tightly around the folder’s edges. No, waiting for answers wasn’t your style. Not at all now that it had come to him. You stood abruptly, dropping the file on the table in front of you. Slowly, you peeled off the suffocating black coat you wore, and tugged off the hideous mask from your face.
No. This wasn’t something you could leave to a guard or a report. You were going to get your answers yourself. Whatever had led Hwang In-ho to this place — to your games — was something you needed to know.
Something you needed to understand.
And for that, you’d need to go where it all began.
── ★
The streets of Chunghyeon-dong hadn’t changed much. The same cracks in the pavement, the same stubborn weeds sprouting through them, the same faint scent of roasted chestnuts wafting from a distant street vendor. Every turn and every landmark whispered his name, and no matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t shake the feeling of longing and loss that you kept feeling ever since you opened that file on your desk.
You slowed your pace as you neared his address. You didn’t even have to ask for directions. Your feet seemed to carry you wherever the right place was. Your fingers absently pointed at the trees lining the street, a faint smile tugging at your lips. “That’s where we used to sit,” you murmured to yourself. You could still picture it — Inho lounging against the trunk, his head tilted just so as he teased you, pretending to be deep in thought. He’d called it “having a chat,” but it was always more than that.
The corner café wasn’t far, and your steps faltered again when you saw it. It looked so much older now. The paint had faded, and the lights were dull, but it was unmistakably real. You could almost hear his laugh echoing through its walls. Oh, how his hand would brush yours under the table during one of those so-called “study dates.” Because heaven forbid he admit he liked you just as much as you liked him.
And then the park came into view when you turned right. The swings swayed gently in the breeze, taking you back to all those years ago. How many times had you sat there next to him, pretending to be as carefree as he did? How many times had you let him pull you closer — let his lips brush yours just for him to do it all over again?
You shook your head, trying to clear it. Those moments felt like a lifetime ago, but standing here now, it was as if no time had passed at all.
You finally reached his house. It was quiet, too quiet — though you wondered what you had been expecting to see. Of course, he wasn’t here. He was in the games now. The curtains were drawn, and the whole place looked abandoned.
You turned to the neighboring house and knocked on the door. After a few moments, an elderly woman appeared, judging your posh outfit silently.
“Excuse me,” you tried being polite. “I’m looking for Hwang Inho. He lives — well, lived — next door. Do you know where he might be?”
The woman’s expression softened with recognition at the name, but her next words sent a jolt through you. “Oh, that man. He’s been missing for a few days now. Poor soul, after what happened with his wife... I’m not surprised.”
You blinked, your stomach feeling like it was being stabbed by a knife. “His wife?”
She nodded solemnly. “Yes, his wife passed away a few years ago. I think it broke him. They were so close, always together. When she died, well... he just wasn’t the same. And now, with him gone, too...” She trailed off, shaking her head.
You could practically hear you heartbeat pound in your ears. Wife? Nowhere in his file was a wife mentioned. Heck, you’d have been okay if you had gotten some sort of wedding invitation — at least it would’ve brought some closure to your love.
The things you were feeling right now. They were ugly. Who was she? What did she mean to him? Was she even half as pretty, as smart as you? Why was she chosen and not you?
“Do you know her name?” you asked, trying to sound casual.
“Oh, I don’t remember now,” the woman admitted. “But I heard they were going to have a baby, and then she passed away. It’s tragic, really. He was broken.”
Your hands clenched at your sides, your mind racing. A baby? He was about to have a baby with someone else? When he had promised you that you would be the only one in his life? He had gone ahead and done that?
A small part of you laughed at the fact that she had died. Because how could she be able to break through those walls in ways you never could? Served her right.
You forced a polite thank-you and turned away before she could notice the storm brewing inside you.
Who was this wife? What had happened to her? And why had he never told you?
You shook your head. It didn’t matter now. What mattered was that he was alive — here, in your games. If you wanted to save him, you’d need to unravel the truth, jealousy and all.
And maybe, just maybe, you’d find out if there was still room for you in his heart.
── ★
You kept your eyes trained on the screen, your gaze unwavering as you watched him protest during the voting round. You cocked your head to the side, smirking under your mask.
In the first game, he had done fairly well, although you had had to pull a few strings to ensure his survival. Extending the duration of the doll’s singing to let him pass had been easy enough, and the subtle redirection of the triangle guards’ focus away from him wasn’t even noticeable — you were quite sure of that.
But it was his decision now that truly intrigued you. His face lit up with blue light after he pressed the button O. He wanted to stay. Perfect. That meant you would get to see him more.
Although, even if he had chosen to leave, you would still find a way, of course. You would stalk him to eternity if you had to. After all, you had missed sight of him for a few years and he had landed right in your palms. You wouldn’t miss this second chance at all.
Your boots clicked softly against the floor as you walked across the floor of illuminated tiles, each displaying a picture and number of a player. You stopped in front of his. Player 132.
His face stared back at you from the glossy surface. He wasn’t smiling, rather the opposite actually. It was as if he understood that the Squid Game sounded too good to be true. Free money for playing games? There had to be a catch. And he was right.
But he also wasn’t. He wouldn’t die if he lost, after all. He had you to keep him safe, even though he didn’t know that. You kept looking vacantly at his picture. Beautiful, beautiful and untouchable. There was something about him that had always drawn people in, even when he didn’t try.
It definitely drew his “wife” in, you thought bitterly.
Behind you, the faint sound of a throat clearing pulled you from your thoughts. You turned sharply to find the Circle guard you had sent earlier bowing, a small stack of files balanced by his hands on top of his head.
“Leave it in my cabin,” you said curtly, barely sparing him a glance. He scurried off without hesitation, and you scowled at his retreating figure. Too slow. You hated waiting.
Turning your attention back to the control room, you addressed the guards stationed there. “I need footage of 132,” you said, gesturing at the screen displaying Inho’s face, and your eyes softened when you saw him. “The ddakji with the recruiter, the aftermath, before that — everything. Ten minutes.”
“Yes, ma’am,” came the chorus of responses, and the guards immediately set to work.
You strolled back to your cabin. The recruiter’s approach might offer a clue as to how Inho ended up here. What had driven him to this point? What had changed in his life? Or rather, who had changed his life?
You sighed softly. If it hadn’t been for that woman, he wouldn’t have ended up here at all. Then maybe you’d have been able to reconnect without a mask on your face. But then again, if it weren’t for her, he wouldn’t be here in front of you either.
Whatever had brought him here didn’t matter now. What mattered was that he stayed. That he survived.
And if it took bending every rule in the book, so be it.
── ★
The triangle guard you had politely threatened had done his job fairly well. You had pointed a gun at his head and “requested” that he keep an extra triangle dalgona on hand, just in case Inho broke his. The guard had stammered out a fearful nod. This was obviously against every rule in the book. But you didn’t care. You couldn’t take risks — not when it came to him.
Thankfully, it hadn’t come to that. Inho had passed the round with ease. You had kept your eyes on him the entire time. Watching the way he moved, the way he carried himself — every little detail. The small quirks you remembered so well: the subtle clench of his jaw when he was concentrating, the way he would tap his thumb against his thigh when waiting. It was all still there, unchanged by the years.
He wasn’t much of a talker, though, you noticed. He stayed reserved, observing more than engaging with others. That sharp mind of his was working overtime, you could tell. Even during the chaos of the “special games” at night, he had defended himself so bravely, you were practically cooing at the footage.
Flipping through the file in your hands, you skimmed the details you had demanded from the guard earlier. Something about a liver transplant, unborn child, undead wife, high loans—
Wait.
Your eyes froze on the words. Undead wife?
So she was alive? The old woman had lied to you?
You clenched the edge of the file, the paper crumpling under your grip. You felt a flicker of rage at the thought. Had the neighbor been instructed to lie? Or was she simply misinformed? Either way, you had half a mind to go back and put a bullet through her head for wasting your time.
But if the wife was alive, where was she? A hospital, perhaps? That would make sense. If she was sick, then Inho would have a reason to be here — to pay for the bills, to save her.
Oh, poor, poor In-ho.
Your lips curved into a bitter smile as you leaned back against your couch, staring at his image focussed on the video on the screen. What would happen if he won, only to return home and find his dear wife gone?
The thought lingered heavily in your mind. You allowed the corners of your mouth to curl further upward.
You had no intention of letting her — or anyone — stand in the way.
── ★
The suit you had picked for him was immaculate. A deep charcoal gray with subtle pinstripes, paired with a crisp white shirt and a black tie. You had chosen it yourself, despite the wardrobe team’s protests. No one else would have dared to question you, of course — not when you held absolute authority.
It reminded you of the past. Back when the two of you would dress up in your finest clothes just to spin around your tiny, cluttered room. How he would hold you close, laughing as the two of you stumbled over each other’s feet, tripping over discarded books and materials.
The memory hurt more than you cared to admit.
You had wondered for years why he’d left you without a word. Back then, it was an unbearable wound, an unanswered question. But now, you knew the answer. He hadn’t disappeared because of ambition or fear like you had thought. He had left because of her. His wife. His child. His life that he had built without you.
And now you had taken that away from him. What would he do now that he had nothing? Run back to you, just like you had been waiting for all these years. Yet none of that mattered as you watched him now.
He looked devastatingly beautiful in the suit you had chosen. His face was gaunt, shadows carving hollows under his cheekbones. His gaze was darker than you remembered — haunted, like he had seen too much and survived too little. But his face was still untouched. His sharp jawline, his delicate lips, his deep, expressive eyes — they were all as perfect as you remembered. That was all that mattered to you.
The shrill ring of your telephone shattered your thoughts, dragging you away from the screen. With an irritated sigh, you muted the footage and picked up the receiver.
“Yes?”
“It’s me,” Oh Il-nam’s voice came through, and you let out a groan. “You’re walking a very fine line.”
You didn’t bother replying, letting him ramble on.
“The VIPs aren’t pleased,” he continued. “Your blatant favoritism is starting to show. The adjustments to the games, the extra leniency — it’s too obvious. If you keep this up, it won’t just be your job on the line.”
You held the receiver away from your ear, his words fading into the background as your gaze drifted back to the screen. There he was, sitting quietly at the opulent dinner table with the other finalists. The suit hugged his frame perfectly, accentuating every detail you had memorized so long ago.
Before you could stop yourself, you stood. You weren’t entirely sure what you were going to do next. You placed the receiver on the table next to you, and began stripping off your dress. Piece by piece. Just like he used to.
You discarded the elegant fabric of rose gold, standing bare before the floor-length mirror in your quarters. The reflection staring back at you was a stranger. Scowling lines etched into your face, your eyes cold and calculating, your body tired. You looked older. Harsher. Someone he might not even recognize anymore.
You pressed a hand to the glass, almost surprised when the person in the mirror repeated your actions. You couldn’t even tell yourself anymore. Was all of this worth it?
But then your eyes flicked back to the screen.
He looked so painfully perfect. The sound of Oh Il-nam’s complaints became white noise in the background. You reached for the phone.
“Done yet, old man?” You said in a bored voice. “Don’t try threatening me. You need me.”
His voice quietened on the other end, and you let out a dark chuckle.
“I don’t give a fuck about your VIPs. If this man survives,” you stared at the screen again, keeping one leg on the couch and the other on the floor, “I will not repeat this ever again.”
“You shall either keep your word and your title, or none of those. If you ever—”
You slammed the receiver down, cutting the call abruptly.
Nothing else mattered. Nothing else ever had.
You poured a glass of wine for yourself. Tilting the glass to your body and letting it pour all over you, you lay down on the couch, still keeping an eye on the screen. You ran a hand down your body, from your cheeks to your neck. From your nipples to your legs. From your thighs to your core. Just like he used to.
You hadn’t done this in years. You couldn’t get off to the sight of anyone but him. And now that you had him, plainly and simply in front of you, you couldn’t miss this opportunity at all. You shifted your body so your mouth could be covered by the couch, and began.
You loved him. Even though he had hurt you.
And you could never bring yourself to take those words back.
── ★
The 2015 Squid Game had ended.
Hwang In-ho had stood at the finish line, battered and broken but alive. He had walked away with the bloodstained briefcase in his hands, containing enough money to rebuild a shattered life — or so he had believed.
You had watched every second of his return home through the monitors. He had entered his small apartment, made a few calls only for his smile to fade promptly, then dropped the briefcase on the floor, and sat in silence. The money didn’t seem to matter to him. Not after everything he’d lost.
You had anticipated this moment with a sick, gleeful longing. His wife was gone. You had seen the death records and confirmed it yourself. The woman he had chosen over you was nothing but a memory now. He didn’t even bother visiting her grave. And that made you smile.
But he was grieving. Grieving over something you had had complete control over. His eyes now carried the weight of loss, and though he hadn’t cried, his silence was deafening. But you didn’t care.
You couldn’t see him with anyone else. The thought of him belonging to another woman had always made the invisible knife in your stomach twist and hurt. And now, you had him all to yourself. Even if he didn’t know it.
The idea of him discovering your hand in all of this sent a thrill down your spine. You had touched yourself to the thought more than twice, chanting his name like a prayer. Poor Inho. He’d be so upset if he ever found out.
But none of that mattered. What mattered was that he was still yours.
The next games were fast approaching. Oh Il-nam had entered your office, and while you might’ve bashed the skull of whoever did so, you couldn’t do it to the superior standing in front of you.
“I trust you’ll stay out of it this time,” he said, narrowing his eyes. “Your antics last year nearly cost us everything. No favoritism. No interference. Do you understand?”
You rolled your eyes but nodded anyway, knowing better than to argue.
“I had someone I wanted to introduce you to,” he said when a knock echoed at the door. You frowned, turning toward the sound. “Come in,” Ilnam said, almost amused.
The door opened, and your breath caught in your throat.
It was him.
Hwang Inho stood there, dressed in a sharp black suit, his face calm and unreadable. He looked different. Stronger. Colder.
For the second time in less than a year, you found yourself wondering: What the fuck was he doing here?
“This is Hwang Inho,” Ilnam said, gesturing toward him. “He’s the new Frontman.”
You felt the air leave your lungs. The world tilted on its axis, and for a moment, you couldn’t breathe.
“He’ll be replacing you,” Il-nam continued. Then, with a sly smile, he added to Inho. “Your assistant,” he gestured towards you, and your eyes snapped back to him.
If he wasn’t your superior, you would’ve broken his bones. They looked pretty fragile anyway.
Inho extended a hand toward you. “It’s a pleasure to meet you,” he said smoothly. “What’s your name?”

STRAWBERRIES & CREAM | JJK
banner by the gorgeous @runariya <3
1/3 teaser for my pick the fic! poll 📊 starting off with the current lead, strawberries & cream...
[pairing] wealthy law student jk x aspiring actress & struggling waitress reader
[teaser content] sfw, 1.1k words, 21 jk | 21 yn, some internal monologue cursing, wrongful workplace treatment (yes, yet another one of my oc's has a shitty boss 😭), a group of rude fucks won’t leave the diner, oc just wants to buss her damn tables and skedaddle, jk is Whipped and oc is Worried.

📍 Seoulful Delight a rundown diner on a somewhat quiet corner of the city.
You were closing alone again.
The night cook had called in sick, leaving you to handle everything yourself. At first, you figured it wouldn’t be a big deal.
It was a slow Monday, after all, and most of the regulars were already gone — the elderly folks who came for their nightly decaf and pie, the high school kids who hung around after school. But then, a group of rowdy guys strolled in, loud and obnoxious, ordering a ridiculous amount of food while making sure to throw in comments about the wait time despite it being painfully obvious you were the only one working.
And now, with their empty plates stacked high on the table and the lights of the diner dimming, they refused to leave no matter how many times you told them the place was closed.
You weren’t that stupid. Their sleazy smirks, the way they eyed you up and down, it was all warning enough not to push any further. And you didn’t.
The last time you had called the police on a group of guys a little worse than this, one of them ended up being the son of the officer on duty, and knowing your luck, one of these jerks would probably end up being the brother.
Your manager, Ahn Chang-min, was livid about the callout fee charged for what was deemed a false report, and he’d been deducting the cost from your paycheck bit by bit. You knew it was wrong — probably unconstitutional too, if you were using that word correctly — but you didn’t have the energy, support, nor the funds to fight it.
So instead of making a scene, you sighed, pursing your lips as you slipped behind the counter and texted Chang-min for advice. Unsurprisingly, your messages were left on read, and the group of dickheads showed no signs of leaving.
Your tired eyes scanned the diner. You had cleaned almost everything, except for their table and one booth in the back.
Jungkook’s booth.
He had become somewhat of a regular over the past few months. Always showing up an hour or two before closing, still dressed in his perfectly tailored suits, his hair tousled like he’d been running his fingers through it all day.
You knew he was a law student — or maybe a graduate, possibly even a lawyer by now. You weren’t sure of his exact age, but you’d often seen him with his nose buried in thick law books late at night. 'Civil Procedure' was the title you recognized the most.
Despite how late he came in, Jungkook always ordered two servings of food, devouring it like he hadn't eaten all day. He seemed to have a thing for the all-day breakfast menu — extra crispy bacon, double helpings of fried eggs, sometimes toast, sometimes pancakes.
When he couldn’t decide between dishes, he’d ask you to pick for him. Last week, you’d chosen the grilled steak sandwich, your personal favorite, which you’d prepared yourself since the cook was on break.
You’d learned to make everything on the menu by now, given how often the night cooks either called in or left early. Some recipes you’d been taught; others, you just winged it. So far, no one had complained about the quality. Though, most of the customers who came to this shitty little diner were either too drunk to notice or too polite to say anything.
Nevertheless, Jungkook had ordered two of that same sandwich every visit since.
You wondered how he managed his schedule. How he stayed so fit with all the food he consumed. He never came in before 10pm, and you found yourself hoping that his days didn’t start too early. That wouldn’t be healthy.
But then again, working almost back-to-back doubles and still barely scraping by after rent and utilities wasn’t exactly healthy either. But somehow, you managed. You just hoped his days weren’t as long as yours.
The moment your soft voice carried across the diner, announcing it was closing time, Jungkook snapped out of his trance, glancing at his phone and realizing how late it was. He began packing up, but his hands stilled when he overheard a group of guys’ crude remarks from the center table of the diner. They weren’t just refusing to leave — they were making inappropriate comments, and the way they talked to you made his grip tighten around his book.
He set it back on the table, his jaw clenching as he watched you back away from them, obviously trying to avoid escalating the situation. You looked like you were about to head toward his booth, maybe tell him it was time to leave as well. But after a moment of hesitation, you turned and disappeared into the kitchen instead, your shoulders slumped in defeat.
Jungkook’s heart clenched.
He hoped you didn’t think he was anything like those assholes. He could never treat you that way. Never refuse you anything. After all, you made the best steak sandwich he’d ever had.
He doesn’t know if it was because he really liked steak, or if it was because he knew you were the one to prepare it for him that made it taste so good. Either way, it was perfect. Sweet. Just like you and just like everything you did.
The way you filled his coffee cup all the way to the top even though the lines on the mug told you to stop three-quarters up. The way you’d add a fried egg to his steak sandwich without charging extra. The care you put into everything for him, even when you were exhausted.
Jungkook always made sure to tip you directly. He never left the money on the table where your grimy little coworkers could pocket it while you were clearing another booth. He’d even downplay the amount when signing the bill because he knew your shitty boss was the type to skim what he could off the top.
Every time without fail, you’d frown at him, shake your head, tell him to stop doing that. But Jungkook never listened. Eventually you’d relent, let him slip the cash into your apron pocket, and the soft, sweet smile you gave him afterward always made it worth every penny.
He looked forward to that moment every night — to the smell of your berry-scented lotion mixed with your perfume when you leaned down to thank him and clear away his plates. He spent a lot of time wondering what kind of berry it was. Raspberry? Strawberry? Boysenberry? He wished he could ask. Maybe he’d buy some for himself just to have something that reminded him of you.
Not that he needed a physical memento.
You were already stuck in his head. All day, every day, for the past three months.

ermmm... yea i may have downplayed just how whipped jk actually is... forgive me 🙇♀️
he is a grump tho, TRUST ME...
but just to like everrrryoneeee but her 😭

Scream for me?
AN: Ghostface is soooooo 🤤 This is a teaser, if you guys would like me to continue this, let me know in the comments! I plan on turning this into nsfw (obvs)
TL: @stygianoir
CW: Swearing, stalking
With inky smudges and a frantic shake all over his body, Danny was desperate. No one had ever even attempted to get close to finding out his little game, no one! His panting got louder and more desperate as he started to rip papers off the corkboard. After his 5th cup of coffee, he seemed to have reached a sense of clarity regarding his…situation… Carefully and calmly as he could, he picked up a small Polaroid and pinned it to the middle of the board.
It was a late morning for you, about 3 pm. Waking up to grab some coffee and get to the office a bit later than usual. You had a new story to report on, the mysterious murders that had been happening over your small town. Running out of the door, you swung by your local coffee shop to grab your sugary frozen espresso granita. While standing in line, you couldn’t help but notice the uniquely handsome stranger staring you down. His demeanor was brooding and sullen, eyes sunken in. Not knowing what to do, you swiftly turned around from the register to take a seat—total weirdo.
“I swear I had the pictures!” Your coworker sputtered. The sigh you let out was enough to alert everyone in the facility to your disappointment. “It’s alright, I get it.” You moaned. Trudging back to your desk, you noticed a small red envelope on your desk. That’s strange– you had sworn that no one had walked by your desk before you had gotten there. Opening it, you found pictures of… Oh fuck… that's your bedroom.
That’s your bed.
That’s your nightstand with the shitty light that helps your read late at night.
Those are your plushies from your mom to keep you from becoming homesick.
That’s
You
In the bed.
Shaking, you grabbed your stuff and left in a frenzy. Obviously, you couldn’t have let anyone know where you were going. You’re making this so easy for him.
After going to the police station, you found no one inside. ‘Damn it…’ You bit your lip. What are you supposed to do? You had to pack at home and go to a hotel. When you got home, you realized that the door was already open. You just had to grab your wallet upstairs so you can get a damn hotel. As the wood on your shitty old stairs started to creak, you heard a thump from behind you. The door had closed.
Pt 2 out now!

Pairing: Attorney! reader × Undercover Police! Jay Cameo: Secretary! Soobin Cameo: Secretary! Soobin Triggered Warning!: None Word count: 1203 words Inspired by: Kdrama "Why Her?" and "Siren" by Taeyeon Song Recommendations: Cold As Hell by Taeyeon
The sound of click-clacking of the shiny, black pearl coloured heels that you wear is heard along the corridors. You walk straight towards your office room while the staff around you give a 90-degree bow as you walk past them. Once you have reached your office room, someone knocks on the door while you settle down on your executive seat.
"Come in!"
Soon enough, a guy in his 20s finally shows up in front of you, wearing a complete set of a dashing gray colored suit with a neatly tied red tie.
"Report."
You did not hesitate nor stuttered, and he didn't waste any time to deliver what he's got. He professionally scrolls down the tablet that he is holding at the moment. Known as Choi Soobin, the guy is your secretary that your father appointed to you almost 3 years ago.
"You have no scheduled meeting this morning until the afternoon. However, there is a new case reported last night, and I am afraid to say that it might involve you and the whole Yang's family."
Your eyebrows frowned upon hearing the report from Soobin. As much as you want to lash out and curse him, you know better not to do that under any circumstances given the fact that your family and the Choi share a long history together and even secrets from the darkest to the dirtiest ones that they keep burried together through the years. But, of course, that's another story for another time.
"What do you mean? What does the case have to do with me?"
Your pupils dilated as the memories of that night that occurred a few years ago suddenly play inside your head like a projector.
'There's no way '
Your heart whispered as your heart beat furiously. It pounds so fast that you lose your composure as someone always has a poker face with little to no expression at all on your face, which is a rare sight to see for your staff and family but not to Soobin as it is the second time for him. The first time he saw your face making that very same expression was a night that he won't be able to forget at all, forever.
"Unfortunately, it is exactly as what Chairman Yang expected back then. The police finally found the major evidence of the incident from 4 years ago last night. It's all over the news right now."
You didn't even notice that your breath has become unstable if it weren't for Soobin who kneels before you as he tries his best to distract you from his report just now. Thankfully, the intercom button is not that far from where he is standing, which made it easier for him to contact one of the staff outside of your office to ask for mineral water for you.
"Mrs. Oh, please bring a glass of mineral water to Director Kim's office and make it as soon as possible!"
Despite the obvious panic and anxiety that filled the whole room, Soobin managed to calm you down as he protectively held you in his arms before Mrs. Oh entered the room to pass the glass of mineral water to him. With closed eyes, you take a deep breath before you drink the mineral water and break free from Soobin's arms that were holding you just now and fix your "image" by glaring at Soobin as if you are blaming and warning him to keep his mouth about what he had seen earlier.
After all, you are THE Serena Yang, the heiress of the Yang conglomerate family from the Young Group that has power over the politics, business, government internal affairs, and even the laws in South Korea. Not to mention, your father is Chairman Yang, who is rumored to step down sooner or later as the current president of the Young Group, since he will be one of the candidates in the upcoming General Election aiming to be the future Prime Minister.
When that happens, you know very well that it's either you or your younger step brother, Yang Jungwon, that would be the heir or successor of the Young Law Firm. Long story short you can't let yourself be seen as a weak, soft-hearted girl to the public and not even Soobin is granted that privilege, to see you in your vulnerable state ever since that night from 4 heard ago happened.
You believe that only when you act cold-hearted, you get to be the bigger person and hold the power to your opponents as most of them have a hard time figuring out your true emotions and feelings. As a result, not even one person, and neither your family, is able to break that wall that you built. It's a mistake that you let your guard down for the second time as the news is quite unexpected and dangerous to you. It traumatized you.
"How much did they find out so far? How did they find the evidence when everything was taken care of?"
You walk closer towards Soobin and take a grip of his red tie that was neatly tied before you ruined it by pulling it.
"Did you lie to me and my family?! Were my family and I being deceived?! Are we that low and easy to fool for you and your men?!!"
Soobin makes eye contact with you as he keeps his calm demeanor while grabbing your hands that are still gripping onto his shirt to take your hands off of it. As soon as your hands are out of contact with his tie and shirt, you turn around and take another sip of the mineral water to cool yourself down from lashing out at Soobin again.
"No, of course not at all, Director Yang. I promised you that every single thing was taken care of that night. Chairman Yang's men also have made sure of that and give your family the evidence. Everything is buried safe and sound until a guy that I believed is the older brother of that girl appeared. The police investigated the case again per the guy's request and when they discovered her body.. The case is reopen officially now."
At this point, you know that you have to brace yourself for the worst-case scenarios that could happen to you or your family if the truth prevails and comes to light.
"Older brother.. you said?"
You immediately reach for the daily newspaper that Soobin put on your table earlier and take a look at it while Soobin continues with his explanation.
"Yes. Unfortunately, it turned out that the girl had an older brother. And he was also the one who insisted the police reopen the case and do an investigation of it again."
Being in distress and feeling like you're trapped, you let out a piercing scream before you tear up the newspaper that you have read a few minutes ago.
"Run a proper background check about the girl and make sure you find out who her brother is and identify his identity with details. By hook or by crook."
You grab your Birkin handbag before you make your way out of the office room, leaving Soobin all alone inside.

DETAILS:
1. The name of female lead
- is chosen because the I wanted the main female character to have the same aura and vibe as Serena Serenity (from manhwa "Serena").
2. The surname and the company name
- Originally to be used as Kim family and Sunoo was supposed to be the little step brother
- But it changed to Young family to give off Crazy Rich Asian family aura. And it's a coincidence that it sounds identical to Yang, thus, the Yang family and Young Group (the company's name). And, yes. Jungwon is officially the little step brother of the household.
3. There are some of the hints (the night incident from 4 years ago) that started n this chapter so you better take noted of it from here and good luck finding each pieces before the siren caught you.

new story teaser?
“Captain, I’ve got something for you.”
“Well, that’s never good coming from you.”
Kate Laswell smirks to herself on the other end of the phone, knowing that Price’s words were spot on. She sighs, opening a manilla folder file on her desk and shifting through its papers.
“New mission for the 141.”
Price huffs. “Fantastic.”
The Captain places the phone on the table, pressing the speaker button so that each soldier present in the room can hear the debrief Laswell was about to give. Sergeants Soap and Gaz lean forward in their seats while Lieutenant Ghost steps closer to the table, his arms stoically crossed. “Lay it on us.” Price sighs.
Laswell looks over the papers on her desk. “The last two months, we’ve gotten reports of some sporadic murders. Normally, this isn’t something the FBI would be concerned with. Leave it up to the state police.”
Price nods. “Right.”
“Well, the victims happen to be some important people. Two senators from the US, one politician from Germany, another from the UK, and seven government officials from Russia. It's threatening national security. We have no idea who is killing these guys or why they are doing it. Shepard is on my ass about this. I need you guys to find this guy and bring him in. Preferably alive for interrogation. I've got a lead; I’ll send it over to you.” Laswell finishes, starting to type away on her computer.
“How d’you know it’s only one guy commitin’ these murders?” Ghost speaks up.
“He leaves a…calling card, of sorts. Pink ribbon, tied to the victims. It’s a bit…” Laswell trails off.
“Odd?” Soap finishes. Price glances at his brothers-in-arms, his gaze lingering on Ghost for a moment, almost as if silently asking his opinion on the matter. Ghost only gives the Captain a blank look. The phone on the table dings, and Price picks it up to see the information on the lead Laswell sent. “All right, we’ll get it done.” Price says, standing from his chair.
“I’ll be in touch. Play this smart, Captain. This guy is dangerous. He escaped three different capture attempts. He knows what he’s doing.” Laswell warns through the phone.
Price grins, glancing at the men in front of him.
“Well, so do we.”

Random Tuesday Preview
Because tomorrow is Valentine's Day which means tomorrow is EXCHANGE DAY so I don't want to give away too much but here's a little teaser just for fun.
Here I am like "oh I can do the exchange it's a short fic I'll just make sure not to go overboard and it'll be fine" but I'm over 11.5k words and counting and only the first chapter will be posted tomorrow 🤣 (I'm hoping there will only be two chapters and that I can get the second posted in the next week or two. I'm really sorry to everyone who's waiting on all my OTHER unfinished long fics.)
I had a hard time picking a section because I didn't want it to be too spoilery or give away enough that the recipient would guess, but since we're only one day out, I guess it's okay to spoil one thing (warning for a slightly dirty joke 😂).
“I really need to talk to Alya now,” she groaned, and then tried to laugh. It wasn’t very convincing, but Luka smiled anyway.
“You need me to give you a minute?” he asked, and she shook her head, picking up her phone. It had enough battery now to power on and sure enough, there were a bunch of messages waiting for her. One was just a check in from her parents, and she sent them back a quick, mostly-true reply. She didn’t bother with the ones from Alya, just hit the button to call her. She held it away from her ear until she heard Alya’s voice screeching her name—her full name, of course, and then brought it back to her ear when Alya’s voice dropped to a more normal volume.
“Where have you been?” Alya demanded. “I almost called the police and reported you missing. Adrien said you never showed up and—”
“Adrien?” Marinette demanded, and Luka glanced at her, one eyebrow raised. “The mystery man you wanted me to meet was Adrien?”
“Yes, and you blew it!”
“There was nothing to blow, Alya!” Marinette exclaimed, and then scowled at Luka when he choked on a laugh next to her. She flailed her hand in his direction, smacking his shoulder a couple of times, while he tried to smother his chortling. “Would you please just let that whole thing go? Why on earth would you think I wanted to meet him?” Dressed like that, she thought, slapping a hand on her face. What a disaster that would have been, she was sure.
“Oh, come on, he said he wanted to see you, and he’d been missing you a lot, and I just knew he’d finally gotten a clue and you were so hot last night I thought for sure—”
“She’s not wrong,” Luka muttered, and Marinette whipped her head around to glare at him. He shrugged. “Sorry, she’s loud.”

So that teaser trailer...
Wanted to get together some observations and thoughts, would love to hear what ya’ll are thinking about it too.
-Font choice: questionable
-I’m wondering if the “My name is Nathan Leopold” “Richard Loeb, nice to meet you” talking to the camera bits and the hand clasp are going to be in the movie itself or if they were just filmed for the trailer? If they are going to be included....where would those extreme close up intros even fit? They’re like POV in a hallucination.
-They finally got the title of Leopold’s book correct: it’s 99 not Ninety-Nine.
-When Leopold is typing on the typewriter you can see and hear the original actor hired to be Leopold. The continuity is also all over the place on what he’s typing. First shot: kidnapped Second shot: kill your Third shot: kidnapped Fourth shot: kill your boy These appear to be the only words on the page, as if Leopold is starting his typing there. “Kill your boy” was in none of the ransom notes used, and kidnapped was never the first word on a page.
-The Bobby kidnap scene is all over the place too. The car pulls up and obviously it’s not the same color, make or model as the real car, but for a no budget movie, you take what you can get. But in the background as the car pulls up you can see modern awnings for a florist and a Thai restaurant in the background, along with modern signage, handicapped parking spaces, telephone wires, etc. It might have been easier for them if they filmed it on a residential street-where Bobby was actually picked up-instead of on a street with a bunch of businesses.
-The clothes for all three are inaccurate to what they were wearing on the kidnap day, and everyone is rocking bow ties. Bobby also starts screaming at the top of his lungs in their open windowed car in the middle of a street, Loeb makes no attempt to cover his mouth, not sure how they don’t get caught there.
-We see Judge Caverly, Darrow and Crowe on the stairs, the only actor they tried to get close to looking like the actual person was Darrow, the other two are very far off, Crowe is bald and his suit really doesn’t fit. Nice stairwell they’re filming on though.
-Some time period inaccurate makeup as we get a close up on a flapper and then both the original Leopold and Loeb appear dancing with the film’s choreographer.
-Then some bizarre shots of what looks like a modern fancy dance with teenagers where no actors from the production can be seen. Not sure if this is stock footage or something the production had from some other project?
-Shot of the original Loeb choking the original Leopold in extreme blue lighting.
-Then we get to the see the courtroom crowd. There’s very few of them, they can’t even fill half the courtroom. There’s also no care for period accuracy here: the clothing is off, there’s short sleeves, several extras have a lot of facial hair including thick beards and there are children sitting in. There’s also a female police officer standing guard.
-Loeb throws a peace sign to the crowd, then turns around and looks directly into the camera. His suit is also noticeably too small for him.
-There seems to be a jury? EDIT: Have confirmed from an actor that yup, there’s a jury! A huge change from the actual case!
-The last scene:
Reporter: Alright boys, let’s get some pictures. Reporter: Woah woah woah woah woah. What does it feel like to be celebrities? Are you guys nervous? Loeb: Do I look nervous? (laughs)
This could actually have been taken from actual newspaper coverage, not the celebrities bit, but there were several times where newspapers printed similar responses from Leopold and Loeb about being nervous.
So, if I’m honest, I think it looks like a bit of a mess. This production is also nowhere near done. They’ve only shot one week with the original Leopold-Loeb actors and one week with the current Leopold-Loeb actors. I assume that first week will have to be scrapped and reshot, unless they’re actually planning to just include both sets of actors and hope the audience doesn’t notice?

What occupations do the Fontaine character's have?
THE OVERTURE TEASER DROPPED and I have a lot of thoughts on it, but mostly the thing I have been thinking about are the various jobs and occupations that the characters will have. In Genshin, it's very standard for characters to have their design be themed around their job. Gorou is dressed like a general, Itto has themes of Kabuki theatre in his outfit and often likes to go and perform in the shows, Hutao is dressed like an old funeral director etc.
And I noticed the Fontaine characters all have a theme of red and blue in them with the exception of a few characters. I also noticed that their outfits are noticeably not quite as "costume" like as the other nations, where you can't immediately tell what job they are supposed to have.
Let's start with Fremenet, this blond kid in the water at the beginning of the teaser:
My theory is that based off of the holographic glow to his suit and how sleek it is, that he is some kind of deep sea diver. His outfit is very reminiscent of a diver's outfit minus the whole swim gear that lets you breath. Fontaine is said to have technology that's way more advanced than the other nations so this could be why he doesn't have any kind of helmet.
He also mumbles about "his mission" and that makes me wonder if he is a diver sent on a mission to do something deep underwater.
These two we already knew were performers of some kind, but there's obviously something more going on here with them than meets the eye. The trailer constantly repeats this as well, since it's mostly being narrated Lyney himself. I think they have a much more important role in Fontaine. My theory was always that Fontaine was a nation that has to keep most of what it does under wraps because it's the closest to Celestia. Like Fontaine is LITERALLY underneath Celestia. So perhaps these two are responsible for making sure people don't question things or they don't dig too deeply into learning certain things.
Fontaine seems to be the most politically driven nation so I suspect their job will be to not only entertain people, but to distract the public from the truth around them.
Now she's kind of a mystery and I had no idea what she was even really up to most of the trailer. But I think that's the point because she's always doing something that's kind of strange, and she's always in a place she probably shouldn't be in.
Like here she is on top of a building for some reason and then later on we see she's also in another place she shouldn't be. The character has a theme of being in places she's not allowed to be in, and I think this is on purpose because I believe her "job" will be as either some kind of model/influencer. Another reason i believe she might be some kind of Model/Influencer is because she's paired up with Charlotte the reporter we met in the last patch.
It's almost like they're partnered together, and it would make sense for someone who's whole job is to have pictures taken of them, to be with someone who takes lots of photos.
These two seemed really cool, but one thing I didn't notice on first watch of the trailer was that the red and black guy is BLIND. I thought he was just reaching over by mistake, but looking at his eyes and how he kinda felt the top of the first glass, it's clear that he is hard of vision/totally blind. My guess for them is that they're involved with the more official parts of Fontaine, possible law enforcement or whatever (he seems super edgy lol) and the little girl is like idk...his assistant I guess.
I think these two are obviously like idk the guards of the city, she seems like a police officer and even has a gun at the end.
Now I already know what some of their official jobs are because of leaks but I won't repeat them here. These are my guesses for what they're going to do as their occupation in the game.

Kardeşlerim Ep 79
The girls managed to trick Zehra's brother and fiance and got out of the house. They ran into Omer on their way home. Omer apologized to Asiye and told her that he found out the truth about how Seval locked up Sevgi. He told her that he did the same to Seval so Asiye dragged him to the yalmaz house so they can free Seval but Ahmet and the kids were there. Omer told them everything and Yasmin ended up confirming what he said. After that, Omer reported both Yasmin and Seval to the police. They went to give their statements at the police station but they denied everything.
Aybike and the rest of the boys went to city hall with Tolga and Zehra. Look at how Oglucan was holding Doruk and Berk 😂
Aybike said that Tolga and Zehra don’t look like they are about to get get married because they are wearing normal clothes and the officiant might get suspicious so Berk gave Tolga his shirt (my sweet boy 🥺) and Aybike and Zehra’s sister got flowers and a veil from a bride that just got married.
Tolga and Zehra got married. Berk's facial expression throughout this whole scene was so funny 😂 Istg his face screams “I wish we were the ones up there”
Berk:”So, when will we also do this (getting married)?”
Aybike:”I told you a thousand times, we have to graduate from high school, then graduate from university, then we have to start working and make our own money and after that, after that (we’ll get married)”
Berk just nodded but I can tell he wasn’t satisfied with that answer.
When the officiant told Tolga that he can kiss the bride:
Berk: 😏
Doruk, Oglucan, Aybike and Berk went back with Tolga and Zehra to Tolga’s house. Berk then told Tolga that he was leaving but Zehra told him to stay. She wanted to thank everyone for their help so she will make them tee or coffee. Berk looked at Doruk and Oglucan told Doruk:”He is looking at you”. DorBer’s scenes were so cute in this ep 🥰
In the evening, Zehra's brother and her ex-fiance came to Tolga's house. They brought some men with them. The boys fought with them and DorBer protected each other 🥺 After the fight was over, Doruk was helping Berk whipe the blood from his nose. Ppl were saying that they had newlyweds energy in this scene 😂
Berk told Doruk that he was so mad about his dad's death that he took it out on him. Oglucan suggested that they should hug each other so they did.
The next day, Berk told Doruk that he had a goodnight sleep (bc they made up). Berk suggested that they should celebrate. Doruk said that he didn’t receive his salary yet so Berk said that he will pay this time. They went to a restaurant with the girls and had dinner there. When it was time to pay, the server told Berk that his credit card had hit the limit. Berk called his mom and it turns out that she decreased his cards limit so he won’t spend “their money” on Aybike. I really don’t understand how Berk doesn’t have “ownership” of his bank account and cards even though he’s an adult and has his share of his dad’s inheritance. To pay for their meal, Berk Doruk and the girls had to clean the restaurant. The cleaning scene was adorable and we have Ayla to thank for that.
Ayla planned something else to get back at Sengul. She sent someone to make her believe that she can make money easily if she bought some olive trees bc she will gain so much money after the olive oil is sold. Sengul borrowed some money from her friend and invested it like the guy told her. The guy called her the next day and told her that she made a good amount of money but Sengul thought that it wasn’t enough to pay back her debt to Ayla so she went to the bank and took out a loan. She put up her house as a guarantee. She was going to use the money from the loan to invest more. Ayla managed to trick her because she tricked her friend Helmeya first and that’s how Sengul didn’t get suspicious. In the teaser, we can see that Ayla managed to buy Sengul’s house which means Sengul wasn’t able to pay back the loan and the bank took her house and sold it. I hope Berk will show the right reaction to this because Ayla has to be stopped.
Seval was getting drunk at the restaurant so Suzan told her to get out. Suzan told her that she knows what she did to Sevgi. Seval showed her the picture of Akif kissing Nebehat. Suzan went back home and kicked Akif out of the house. Akif went to the restaurant and saw Seval there. He told her that since she told Suzan everything he will also tell the police about what she did to Sevgi. Seval ended up confessing and Akif recorded their conversation. He rode a motorcycle to go to the police but Seval went after him and hit him with her car. I don’t think he’s dead and he’ll probably end up in the hospital in the next ep.
Overall, I think today’s ep was great. We got so many cute Ayber moments ❤️ I hope they keep this up in the upcoming episodes.

The Unexpected Climb On a typical Saturday afternoon, Los Angeles witnessed an unusual and daring spectacle involving the iconic Hollywood sign. An individual climbed the landmark, capturing attention not with their ascent, but with a flag promoting a cryptocurrency called Vigilante Token. This unexpected act led to the arrest of the daring promoter by the Los Angeles police. Details of the Incident The incident unfolded around 2:54 p.m. when authorities were notified about someone standing atop the legendary sign. The impatient crowd below saw not a mere daredevil stunt but a promotional move that blended risk with marketing. The flag boldly displayed the name “Vigilante,” a website, an X (formerly Twitter) handle, and a logo believed to represent the cryptocurrency. Concealed Identity The individual, shrouded in mystery, wore dark clothing, a ski mask, and a camouflage vest, effectively masking their identity from onlookers and law enforcement alike. This dramatic reveal of the fitnessed figure added a layer of intrigue to the already buzzing atmosphere. The Pre-Stunt Teaser The day before this audacious event, Vigilante Token's social media account on X hinted at an impending stunt, promising "the most viral way" of launching their token on February 15, 2025. Intriguingly, just minutes before the police were alerted, the company shared a photo of the Hollywood sign on their X page, captioned ominously as “Currently…” Response and Arrest Park rangers and emergency services acted promptly, attempting to engage with the individual in conversation while an ambulance stood ready for potential injuries. By around 4 p.m., the climber was safely taken into custody by LAPD officers, concluding the incident with effective law enforcement intervention and no injuries reported. A Mixed Reception The bold, if not reckless, exhibition undoubtedly captured widespread attention, drawing significant publicity to Vigilante Token. While the stunt succeeded in going viral, it raises questions about the lengths to which companies may go to gain visibility in the competitive crypto market. Both inspirational and controversial, the event leaves much to ponder about creative marketing strategies in the digital age. The incident not only highlights the unpredictable nature of cryptocurrency promotions but also reinforces the need for balancing creativity with safety and legality. It remains to be seen how Vigilante Token's campaign will progress after such a high-stakes introduction. Read the full article

A SOUL IN THE DARK (I)
(this is my first story or whatever, pleaaaaase don’t hate on me. i’ve read so much fanfic, so i hope i can make something out if it lmao.)
————
O N E. Y E A R. A G O
“I love you sweetie!” My mom says to me as she gives me a bear squeeze.
“I love you, Mom.” I say, giving her a kiss on the cheek. Her and Dad are leaving to go on a trip for their anniversary. Saying I’m not jealous would be the biggest lie in the world, because I get to stay home. With the Dogs. Yay. “You guys will take me on a trip sometime soon, right?” I turn to my dad, as he walks out of the house with the last suitcase.
“Yes, you know this. We’ve just been wanting alone time. Are you sure you’re going to be okay by yourself? You can always go to Nana Celia’s.” My mom asks with a tone soaked with “please go”.
My parents were only supposed to be gone for a week. 7 days. Seven days. Seven days turned to 14 days. Then 28. Nana and I began to worry, No answer to texts, calls. Nothing. It’s like they just. Vanished. Almost a month after my parents were reported missing, the police arrived on our doorstep. The moment I saw a badge, My worst fear was about to come true. What solidified it, was them finally giving me the Pendant my mom always wears.
—
This is just a little teaser, i’m still figuring this story out as you are lol. Testing the Waters, as my first story.

And now some kind of teaser for the Halloween dlc.
Said dlc also has new adults!
The teaser is just normal (also cause I wanna be different the Bad end is canon) Caren is using markers to color the decorations (wonder why she wouldn't use scissors?) And the kids are having fun. Nearby the camera does a panning to a hallway with a large TV playing an ad for a toy store that is cut off by a news story about the toy store burning down and the only thing found is a puppet. The ad for the puppet makes sure to play her up as the mascot and beloved companion. Meanwhile, there's a radio of two people talking. One scientist talking about a 'non-human freak he accidentally sired' and then a police report about a dead child. Then, the children's names are said. 'INTRODUCING AMELIA!! AMES HER NAME IS AMES!' and the police goes 'One child was an unfortunate casualty being a young man Lazarus Fredrick Audrey.' The camera then goes to Halloween Ames and freddy. They both look human, but ames has tear marks on her face as her eyes sparkle and change from blueish pink to purple. Meanwhile, freddy looks much more human while he's also got red streaks going down his eyes, which look like they're gone his mouth and forehead are also coated in red. The duo then moves their heads. And with a layered voice, they say. 'Want to play?'*
*Meanwhile, the other adults are shown.*
Dolly:a large windup doll dressed up like a house wife from the 50s. Her face is cracked and she's clearly Burnt. The ad ends with her writing on a blackboard 'good children listen to mommy and daddy good mommies and daddies love their little babies.'
Barachi Sensei:(I think I spelt her name long.) Meanwhile our loving clown teacher is way more jester looking she in the ad is playing with a large trampoline she has.
And finally the music teacher! (I can't spell his name.) He is dressed like he's trying to cosplay bethoven while he's conducting chibi. Who's not paying attention playing with a drumstick. When he turns he shows his mouth is a large microphone.
*the costumes are as follow.*
Puppypile:*Is dressed like cats. Cause irony.*
Hikari:trying to be sailor moon but she's got the colors wrong.
Toddelilah:Todd is Lucifer cause he thinks he can pull of a white suit. Delilah meanwhile is trying to prove she can look good dressed like Lilith. She somehow got Todd's feet into heels. Somehow it doesn't slow him down.
The adults don't have Halloween costumes due to them not wanting to be dressed up. (Also, you find a Halloween costume for them.)
Alex:Is dressed like Saint Peter (the guy at the gate.)
The mangled duo:ames looks like a fnaf crying soul. Freddy looks like himself after his 'incident.'' (He used his powers to escape a lab that was bad to him, and it...Blew up in his face in more than one way.)
And the adults have jumpscares.
Dolly:*She grips the player who is in fact EK this time around and scolds them. Like baldi's principal she catches you she locks you in her classroom for an increasing amount of time.*
Music teacher:*You just get increasing louder Radio static as he gets close making a emergency radio sound test.* *All his Pic is sheet music for the song 'Tederoe march' his ads are for various bookstores music festivals and the school's Halloween party.*
Barachi Sensei:*She just swings a inflatable hammer at you.* *her picture is a drawing of a rabbit being knocked out with birds and stars she meanwhile is making a peace sign the ads for her a makeup store.*
Also Lines for the taulpas.
Toddelilah:"Todd! There they are! GET HER!" 'Easy easy I was never a track star!'
'I Miss being able to have two arms...' "and I miss having paws."
"Vox tech quality trust us with your sports" 'Todd.' "Yes?" 'Never copy my father's catchphrases ever again.'
The mangled:*their voice is layered* "WE SEE YOU"
"DONT PLAY HIDE AND SEEK WE ALWAYS WIN."
"WHERE THE *Loud as heck beep* ARE YOU?"
Godfather Sensei:*His is glitchy and jarbled* "Back away from the children right now!"
"If I am a cheap copy then what are you? I know. AM INVADER!"
"Why am I an owl?"
Puppypile:"food?" 'Bug!' "Treat?" 'Friend!'
*various barking sounds*
"I'm hungry" 'we all are.' "Chicken?" 'Ham!' "Candy!" 'I like Burgers!'
Alex:*Humming hell is forever*
"I miss mommy.."
"What would Daddy say here? Hmm...take no..shi..what was that last word?"
Hikari:*Giggles*
"Cwloser closer! Pway!"
"These toys are sticky. Ew..."
Dolly:'ah ah ah! Naughty naughty!'
"Does anyone smell smoke?"
*Blinded by flashlight* "mean children get punishment!"
Music teacher:"By the Bachs!"
"Did I brush my teeth this morning?"
"Chibi and matcha are on fantasy baby angel in the play...Ames Is the princess Hikiari is the Fairy uh...wait. why isn't Freddy on this list?"
Barachi Sensei:*Making bad knock knock jokes the punchline is always a variation of opening*
"Who ate my milk duds?"
*Snaping fingers to her humming the Addms family tune*
The patterns are simple.
All the adults will be way more persistent then the kids. You can slow them down with the flashlight but all this does is make them faster. They also will check hiding spots. They do stick to their spots. (Dolly walks the halls. The music teacher walks around the music room but he's also in the library sometimes. And barachi sensei is in the supply room and art classroom)
Yea! More horror game school! Let’s go!

re-processing the processing
when my dad took his life, we took all the paperwork that accumulated over months of phone calls and office visits and filed it away in a box that's sat in my closet in my childhood home for the last decade-plus. on a recent visit home, I went through the box in hopes of finding a copy of his passport for my application for dual citizenship (more on that in a future post). I didn't actually find it, but unfortunately uncovered artifacts from that time, the most painful time of my entire life, dredging suppressed memories to the surface.
I read the police report for the first time since I was a teenager - they listed out the possessions found with my father's body, including a suicide note, which they noted had a translation attached. I flipped the page and there it was - a handwritten note, in my own handwriting, translating my father's suicide note. in the pile of shards of memories of that fateful day, this was only a small fragment - it likely took me less than a few minutes to write down the translation, evidenced by the way I chose to write it out in abbreviated bullet points. but something in me broke, thinking about how, as a teenager, I was suddenly stripped of the last remnants of childhood. learning what a 401k was because I had to figure out how to log into my dad's account and transfer ownership to my mom. figuring out how to pay off all his credit cards and close the accounts. and translating the suicide note for the police, the most painful instance of the child-of-immigrants experience.
my sister was our family's rock during this time - her anger fueled her to try and get everything done quickly, and she doled out responsibilities to keep ourselves occupied, and her church arranged meal trains so we didn't have to lift a finger to nourish ourselves - the only thing we needed to do was check on her and make sure she was eating and drinking water. but even in the darkness, there was still light - nights where we finally got our mom to sleep and we snuck around the house for late night snacks, giggling just like when we were kids. my sister reminded me of the values our parents instilled in us, making sure I brewed and served tea in the teaser we saved for company, as she picked and sliced the ripest oranges and neatly arranged them in a spiral.
it's not her fault that my mom clung so tightly to her, and cast me to the side. before my sister left to go home, my mom planned a big family dinner to thank everyone for their support during that difficult time - everyone except me. I was commanded around like a child, condescended and belittled, as she lauded praise on my sister in front of our relatives. I have to remind myself constantly that as an emotionally immature parent, she didn't (and doesn't) understand the impact of her words and actions. and as it has been my entire life, I have to tell myself that my own mother loves me - just less than she loves the idea of being a mother, dreaming of having obedient children to reflect her adeptness at child-rearing.
I'm still processing what happens when a notoriously "sensitive" and "gifted" kid goes through this trauma - the abandonment issues, the guilt of being blamed for not stopping his father's suicide, the guilt of being angry and fighting with him when he died, the fear of losing everything I had worked for, and above it all, the fear that I am inherently incapable and undeserving of love. all I can say right now is that it involves constant emotional processing, and hoping that one day I will heal enough to open myself up to love - for myself and from myself.
