tbh. being the lookalike crew. and from someone who is not deep in the hypmic trench's perspective like us... bbs come off really basic. they get the hello kitty treatment. they're the "default guys" of hypmic and everyone else seems a lot more interesting

I don't think there's anything wrong with engaging with a show/project/game like this, but a lot, a LOT of people will make that judgement very quickly and then go for the more colorful funky guys when it comes to joseimuke. like even if they're not interested in them for girly target demo reasons, it just happens 😭 once you think that way it's eaay to think everything that they do is samey and not as flashy as the rest

mtr posse and bat are my favorites but bbs has my favorite kind of sound, I think they have a good variety! 🥰🩷

i actually don’t disagree with that assessment about why bb isn’t a fandom fave division like i may have gotten into hypmic in the first place bc i thought ichiro was cute lmao but beyond being gurl i’m not the target demographic lmao. it’s when people speak on their music that i start getting annoyed since i’ve only ever seen one respectable opinion i disagreed with (and it was an ask sent to me lol)

like bb are a very interesting team!!!! they’re plot relevant, peak brotherhood and their history and hang ups are fun to analyse lol but then you look at other divisions. not only is posse the most plot relevant division, they even have life and death stakes in their relevancy lol. you have their bonds as brothers but bat is a far flashier team who also touts bonds as family, even if they aren’t related by blood. shipping tends to be very important within fandoms and fp and mtr, western fandom’s most popular teams, are also the most shipped poly divisions. you aren’t really turning towards bb for shipping unless you’re a very specific part of the fandom lol

the story itself took a minute to wrap bb in the fold since rei was that gateway and he and his real issues that involved the bb were introduced late i get why people might consider bb more lacklustre compared to others lol
