u guys should watch lake mungo btw i havent watched any new horror movies in years but its a really well written one with a very cool concept
#i have a special bias towards horror mockumentaries especia since the poughkeepsie tapes is like my all time favorite#(its so bad at some parts........ its awesome)#but lake mungo had a certain vibe to it i cant really describe very well but it was really cool#it was like........ slow horror. quiet horror. a sort of creeping horror that doesnt really hit until the movie is OVER#and also it was very interesting how it was written like the plot as a whole#the plot itself is very like. twin peaks almmost iirc (havent seen it in a coupla years so take that with a grain of salt)#the style of filming wasnt but the story was twin peaks as far as i remember#like....... supernatural but they dont overdo it. more like focusing on subtle bad omens#it was good you guys should watch it if you like horror
