I really love your fallout drawings! I was in the NV fandom when the game first came out, and one thing I really love about your art is how youthful you make boone look. I can't remember if there's a canon age for him, but the fan consensus at the time was that he was like, 22-24 but your art is the first I've seen where he looks that age. bravo!

watching a documentary on finnish american rag rug weaving GOD i love you fiber arts. one woman interviewed could trace a detailed oral history of six generations of women in her family by the time they spent weaving together on the same hand made loom. she showed a rug her great grandmother started but was completed by her mother after she died and you could see the weaving transition between them. and then she showed a rug her own mother died while weaving that she had finished herself and pointed out a similar transition. she teaches her granddaughter to weave now. god i’m crying that’s so beautiful

the latest trashgate is i keep drawing guides on petri dish lids (you draw a guide in sharpie on one lid, then you can set all your plates INSIDE the lid and see the guide-- meaning you can put things on the plate in the same place across every plate, or keep track of space while using the microscope, etc). it's one of those things where you COULD spend more money on a plate with a grid printed directly on it, or you can make one customized to your needs for free

i keep having to make them because people THROW THEM AWAY. i was keeping them in a communal space where the lab manager told me they're supposed to be, but people threw them away anyway. i started keeping them in a basket ON MY DESK labeled "mixel's stuff" and people still threw them away

now the basket says DO NOT TOUCH -- YOU WILL BE CURSED!

hi!! i make plushies, and more recently ive been taking plushie comms. do you store your patterns physically? if so, whats your method? ive been resorting to plastic baggies LOL

i keep them in clear sheets in folders

usually i take a thicker piece of paper (120-150g/m²) and write on the front what pattern it is and than slot the pieces of pattern behind it so they are easy to flip through in the folder!

Shockingly, theyre almost perfect!! Not, like, usable, but none of them have giant warped sides where the numbers should be ^_^ I assume the big problems came from when I flipped it with the wonky mold lid, so assuming I fix my mold (or get a better one) I might be able to make my Dream Dice!! :D
