So basically, A TikToker was doing an angel tree gift kid and ordered online and I was, in a nicer way, like thank fuck someone used the internet to get all the kid wanted instead of just going 'I couldn't find it so they don't get that item that they specifically needed like a coat' and she replied with basically 'Oh at least they tried, we should just be encouraging ppl to care, its the thought that counts blah blah' NOT ITS NOT, Its fucking not! and I can tell you cos I know! I hated pink as a kid but because I was a girl, I always got the girls stockings when I needed them (I'm from the UK/we never got enough help to get onto custom lists like that) and it was all pink glittery shit and skin care stuff. The year I got a box from my school, ppl that knew me? Still pink girly shit and products I can't use, It ruined my Christmas each fucking year because I hated all that shit and thought about the other girls who didn't get one but would have loved it! Making me more sad and I'd just have to donate almost all my stocking fillers to a different place. We eventually stopped using services like that because we decided it wasn't working at all for us so just went to the food places when we needed help. I just wanted the cheap plastic cars and maybe some glue sticks and my teachers and classmates knew that, even a pink car would have been nice! My favourite child toys were a purple Barbie car and a pink thunderbirds car, you can combo girly with my interests as a kid but no one ever did, I was more excited about having the canned foods and trying new brands I'd never seen before. Also I never got a jumper in a single one? All these American kids getting coats, It was only last year that i had a stocking with a hat and gloves like damm. Anyway-

It's like when ppl said we as a society need to stop getting art kids the cheap shitty art sets that will dry out and snap in a week, that's not a thought that counts, they're gonna have ONE good day then have a break down over how they think they did something wrong to the kit when actually it was just a shitty gift. Like yes, if this is a 4 year old maybe get them that horrible thing to test the waters so you can find out what they like but art kids still get them into their 20s! If your kid is older than 4, they will have a preference in art medium. Get the kid that paints some nice paints, better if you know what type they like but even paint they don't like is still better than that shit. Get the drawing kid, wait for it, pencils! Whoa! So new! Care about your fucking kid. They can always tell.

Edit: Actually, I'm not done. Angel trees this year have been pissing me off because, okay so this one TikToker picked a little boy asked for Bluey stuff and she got him really cool bluey stuff because it was very clear that he'd like that because the note said that. Her girl? They girl card she picked up? Just said anime. Just fuckin anime! No show, no genre, no manga NOTHING! Just anime! Imagine if Bluey boy just said Dogs or cartoons. Someone could get a fuckin Monster high doll for him, that's what it'd be like for these anime kids! This girl liked unicorns and make up so I'd assume maybe she's into magical girls but i understand why the TikToker chose this nice BNHA book because BNHA is popular and, ngl it was probably the only thing available in store but again thats why online is a thing. No shade to this lady tho, she didn't a good job. But another person got another girl who just said anime and FNAF. So y'all can write FNAF, but not a single anime name? Because she had FNAF, they got her a demon slayer color book, they did check the pages for age appropriate stuff before tho. But like we are just assuming these kids are into the popular, boy fighting stuff when they might not be and it sucks cos imagine getting a gift of an anime you actually hate, like I hate Demon slayer but love FNAF, it is a safe choice and a good one like sge replied to be about and i was like 100% the best guess... But why are we having to guess on these personalized fuckin hand made lists! Bluey kid didn't have that! The gamer kids don't get that! fuck these poor girls I guess, girls never need shit apparently! Take what you get you piss poor kids and be grateful it's something 🤪 fuck off

FOOD

Eddie doesn't care too much about food, to be honest. Food has always been about fuel in the tank to him since he was a kid. Less so with Wayne because Wayne always made sure Eddie had food, unlike Eddie's parents. Like, Eddie never went to places like McDonald's or BK or Pizza Hut as a kid. Not once. And not even necessarily because it was expensive; McDonald's is dirt cheap even in the UK. (BK and PH are considerably more) But because his parents didn't care to take him. So he starts exploring those sorts of places as a teenager. And in typical teenage style, he decides that fast food is the shit, announcing that he might well kill for a triple bacon cheeseburger. It's a favourite that's stuck with him. It doesn't have to be one from a certain brand or place. As long as it has the components, Eddie is happy as can be. If there happens to be fries and a chocolate shake to go with it. A happy place has truly been found.

COLOUR

Black. It's pretty straightforward lmao. Most of his wardrobe is black, and he's fascinated by all things dark and creepy, right down to the black night sky itself, the darkest depths of the ocean, and the endless reaches of space. Things beyond his complete understanding tend to be black, and he's very curious about those sorts of things. And well, ya know, black is the colour of metal culture lmao. Black is his colour. It always will be. Though that being said, Eddie does have a fondness for red too. He's got a few red shirts and tees that look exceptionally good against his eyes, skin tone and hair. And whenever there's a red sky in Hawkins, he tells his friends that the vampires are out tonight. Let him believe! Red is also the colour of his beloved Betty aka his guitar. He considered getting her coloured black---but the red was more representative of his passion in that sense, and he thought the bloody connotations were pretty damn metal of him. Eddie also likes purple, but I'm not going into that! Black is definitely his go to colour.

TOUGH. t o u g h. tough. Eddie has many favourite movies. Among his favourites are Heavy Metal, Aliens, Labyrinth, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, The Dark Crystal, Krull, Friday The 13th Part II, The Beastmaster, Red Sonja, Hellraiser, Fright Night, The Lost Boys, Evil Dead, Star Wars Trilogy, Poltergeist, The Fly, Pink Flamingos & Female Trouble. Yeah, it's mostly horror with some fantasy, a smidge of sci-fi, and a dash of queerness. But he can't really just pick one?? Heavy Metal is very at the top, though.

PLACE

Not many of those, sadly. But he does have one or two. The woods out by Forest Hills are generally his own little hideout. And he has an actual hideout in there that he built with Gareth when they were kids. [Abilities/ Powers]: Jazali is a good at close-combat and is very feral when it comes to fist fights (but it can also backfire on her). She’s also skilled at using dual-blades, but prefers to use her kicks and punches.

[Restrictions]: Relies too heavily on her feral state due to her lack of knowledge on proper fighting techniques. She’s survived good so far, but her shorter stature does leave her at a disadvantage too.

I like where I’m at right now. My feet are freezing. I hate feeling awkward. I love driving on country roads. I love driving fast, too. I currently have a cold. I have a crush. No, it’s more than a crush. I always wondered what it’d be like to start over, where no one knew me. I go on Yahoo Answers. I get nostalgic every once in awhile. I really don’t like my father. My GPA is between 2.0 and 3.0. I took Algebra 1 in 8th grade, and again in 9th. I’ve passed a class with a D-. I don’t do my homework at home. I prefer mechanical pencils. I always do projects the night before they’re due. I’m really smart but don’t always apply myself. I text in school. I’ve gotten my phone taken away in school.

I straighten my hair often. On lazy days, I scrunch my hair to go out. My only make-up necessity is mascara. I like to wing my eyeliner. I’d rather take a shower than a bath. I’d rather use body wash than a bar of soap. I’d rather use a bath scrunchie than a washcloth. My solution for make-up on lazy days: sunglasses. I use the same routine every day in the shower.

I smoke cigarettes. I’ve gotten drunk within the past month. I’ve smoked weed when by myself. The first time I got high was on a holiday. Marijuana should be legalized. You get irritable when you’re tired or over tired. You wake up grumpy all the time. You bottle your anger up inside. If someone pisses you off, you don’t care who they are, you’ll let them know, in some way, that they made you angry.

Happiness/Excitement :

Sometimes you’re happy for no reason at all. You are generally a happy, optimistic person. The small things in life make you happy. There are many people in your life that make you happy. You know exactly how to make yourself happy. You can turn (almost) any negative situation into a positive one. You get complimented on your smile a lot. You laugh very, very often. When you’re happy, it doesn’t take a lot to make you mad/upset/sad again. Sometimes you get so happy that that you actually feel lighter (physically.) You try your hardest to be happy, no matter what life throws at you. Out of every bad thing in life comes something good. You cry “tears of joy” fairly often. It doesn’t take a lot to get you excited. People have told you your entire face lightens up when you smile.

Sadness/Depression/Loneliness :

You’ve been diagnosed with depression (this includes in the past). When you get depressed, you often feel drained and exhausted. You like to be alone when you’re sad. You cry a lot when you’re sad. When you are down, you like others to cheer you up. Thinking of the future gives you a sort of depressing feeling at times. When you’re sad, you like to cheer yourself up. You want to help other people going through depression, because you know how it feels. When you’re depressed, you have trouble looking forward to/enjoying anything. You went through depression in the past, but you still have those days. You know how to control your depression now. You hate when others act like they’re depressed and hurting just for the attention. You know someone who intentionally hurt themselves just for attention. You have anxiety. You don’t have anxiety, but you know what it is. You have more than one legitimate phobia. You’ve had more than one severe panic attack before. You are sort of afraid to develop an anxiety disorder. You have actually physically hurt yourself (by accident) somehow, while you were having a panic attack. Anxiety sometimes disrupts your sleeping habits. You have social anxiety. You know more than five people (personally) that have anxiety. Someone you know has tried to say they have anxiety when you knew for a fact they didn’t. Even though you don’t have panic attacks, you feel the beginning effects of them daily, or almost daily. Sometimes your anxiety makes you feel like you’re slightly “crazy”, so you have trouble talking about it/explaining it to people.

I can’t stand people who are extremely selfish. A Change Of Pace is a good band. I have gotten a new phone within the past month. I want to go to Florida soon. Peach Snapple iced tea is the best. I’m constantly told I’m beautiful, but I still sometimes don’t believe it. One of my friends came out as gay this year. I feel like I’m the only one who doesn’t have someone. Lee. It’s my Dads middle name, and my brother and I have my Mum’s surname seeing as they were never married (now separated) so she gave us our Dads middle name as our own. So me my brother and my Dad all have the same middle name. Oh and and my oldest brother (different Dad) has Lee hyphenated into his first name so there ya go hahah.
