i really only refer to professors by their first name, so emailing them is incredibly weird especially when i don't know them that well cause do i call them by their first name? dr. last name? what if they don't have a doctorate? just say hello?

being an arts student makes things more casual but emails are hard regardless and i will revise one ten times over before i send it

#if i know them well or at least like #actually talk to them and not just have them oversee an online course or massive lecture hall where i don't really talk to them afterwards #then it's easy with first name #shoutout to michael cause you are my favourite professor and i think we're pretty chill with each other #or i've just bugged him after so many lectures he kind of has to be #but also my questions are actually good questions #and it's a 100 level art history course that really all art students are required to take #so the amount of student specifically studying art history is relatively small #and it's probably nice for him to have somebody clearly passionate about the material #the pedro pascal snl fan cam skit?#that's how i feel like with him almost #i just think he's fun #probably should use rate my professor lmao

OH! I remember seeing that sketch! And how the students were making the fancams of their teachers.

You’re absolutely right, Anon: if the kids had access to cellphones and Capcut, they would absolutely make fan cams of Professor Byleth. I can even see some of the fancams being of him going to the fishing pond or eating at the dining hall or even stabbing a bandit. The students would barely pay attention to class.

Okay Miss Paige and friends!!!!! Now idk if you know who Pedro Pascal is (I love the guy I only discovered him cause he is in star wars now but I think he gained prominence for game of thrones (which I have never watched tbh)) but he seems so fun and he’s a really good actor and he hosted SNL the other day and he did really well. But honestly if you (and the rest of you cute little harries) haven’t already I think y’all should watch the Lisa from Temecula skit—especially if you need a good laugh. When I watched it I was nearly in tears I s2g it’s honestly one of the funniest SNL skits I’ve seen in a while 😭 and I think what makes it better is that almost everyone breaks character which makes the whole thing 1000x funnier 😭 it’s hilarious so I’m telling y’all rn if you want a good laugh (even if you don’t know or care about who tf Pedro Pascal is) go watch it asap cause that bit nearly took me out tbh 😭🤭🫶💗
