⍟~ Hatred and cuddles ~⍟
(tahbks to pokie @peachyponyboyy for hklpyng me with ygis and the anon wgo sugghested it)
𝕊𝕥𝕖𝕧𝕖 𝕩 𝕄𝕒𝕝𝕖 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕖𝕣, 𝕋𝕨𝕚𝕟 𝕓𝕣𝕠𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣’𝕤 𝕓𝕖𝕤𝕥 𝕗𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕕
You were Sodapop’s twin brother. You were just kind of there. You weren’t a greaser, you just didn't like how it made your hair look. I guess you could be considered a hippie? You could never touch a blade or use a bottle, you were all about peace. Steve slightly disliked you because of that, you were just so… calm… it irritated him. You wouldn’t fight with him and never really argued with anyone and it just pissed him off!! He didn’t know what exactly about it pissed him off but it just did.
Right now, he was waiting for someone, just anyone, to get to the Curtis house. It was just the two of you, it was pretty late at night but no one was home. Dally was in the cooler, two-bit was babysitting his sister for once, Darry was still at work, soda was out at who knows where, and he couldn’t care less what Johnny and ponyboy were doing. You were currently in your pajamas, a pair of basketball shorts and a baggy old shirt, a hand me down from Darry. You couldn’t quite get the smell of darry’s cheap ass dollar general cologne out of it, no matter how many washes it went through and no matter how many years you’ve had it.
He sat on one bed of the couch and you sat pretty close next to him. You guys were watching whatever was in the TV, it was kind of boring since you were too poor for cable but it was whatever. You were pretty tired, but you didn’t wanna get up and go to your room. You started to fall asleep on the couch. After a while you felt your body go limp and your eyes shut and succumbing to your tired state.
Steve felt a weight fall onto his side, looking over it was you. Asleep and leaning onto him. He grumbled about you being annoying and stupid but oddly he couldn’t push you off.. with anyone else it wouldn’t be a problem and he would easily shove them off of the couch head first but something was… different… right now. A slight pale pinkish reddish color washed over his cheeks and he wrapped one arm around you. He gently pulled you closer. He was currently just wearing some jeans and socks, he had came home from work and almost immediately gotten kicked out by his dad again so he had just had his DX shirt on when he got there. He took it off almost immediately when he got there and kicked off his shoes. He soon fell asleep shortly after you, his head resting on top of yours (you guys are sharing lice, so coquette >o< <333)
Steve woke up to the flashes of cameras, you still asleep next to him, the rest of the gang giggling as pony took pictures of the two of you sleeping. You started to wake up too. Steve put his arm over his eyes, the bright light that flashed with every picture blinding him. “What the hell is happening” he murmured angrily. The gang scattered and you sat up more. You looked around, drowsy and disoriented. You leaned back against Steve after managing to gain the consciousness to realize where you were and what the fuck is happening.
“Welcome back.” He murmured as he looked at you. He flicked your forehead causing you to flinch, he chuckled at your nose which scrunched up when you were irritated. He started to shove you and tried to get a rise out of you, being the peaceful guy that you were you just politely asked him to stop which pissed him off even more. “God, why are you so fucking annoying!” He basically yelled out at you. You stared at him bewilderedly. “W-wha?-“ you asked in confusion. “You’re just so- so- infuriating!” He put up air quotes as he spoke “ ‘oOh I’m Y/n AnD iM sUpEr SeNsItIvE aNd iM a LiTtLe WuSs WhO wOnT mAn Up AnD fIgHt!!!’ “ he mocked. You had always been more sensitive; kind of like ponyboy. You cried easy and your brother teased you for it a lot. You felt the tingle of tears starting to form in your eyes. He started to go on and on about how annoying you were and how much he hated you. And you just… broke… tears started to sting your face as if they were acid spilt into your face.
Steve just froze, watching as your usually calm face was washed away by your emotions. “I- uhm…” he sputtered out. He didn’t know what to do. He was always bad with crying, hell he couldn’t even get himself to stop crying in the rare occasions he did but this was just too much. He didn’t expect you to cry like that, he didn’t think he had been that harsh on you. He awkwardly wrapped him arms around you. “Uhm… i- ‘m sorry… don’t cry… uhm… please….?” That last word felt weird to say, it just felt unnatural coming off of his tongue. He felt bad for the first time in his life, he had made people cry before but he didn’t really care that much. He usually just said go cry about it and walked away.
He just sat there, with his arms wrapped around you in a hug. Gently patting your back as he tried to get you to stop crying. After a bit you managed to calm down, small hiccups and sniffles being the only sound coming out of you. He let go of you as you wiped your eyes. “Uhm… ‘m sorry…” he murmured out, he just prayed none of your brothers had woken up. You looked up at him through wet lashes. “I’m sorry… i-i-“ he cut you off “what are you sorry for, ‘m the one who yelled at you…” you didn’t know what to say back. You guys just watched TV silently.
After a while you guys started to talk, just normal conversation. You guys basically talked all night. You leaned slightly into him and he wrapped and arm around, you watched tv cuddled up all lovingly like, his hard shell of hate cracked as this was all to try and make you feel better after he made you cry. You guys both had a light hue of pink on your cheeks as you talked, and at the end of your chat before you guys went to sleep you guys shared a gentle kiss. And of course you guys woke up to the gang laughing at you two cuddling and taking embarrassing pictures to tease you guys. And dally calling you two gay ofc 💞💞💞

Hey soapie! I saw your requests were open and decided to ask for some head cannons.
So I would like your hcs on how the boys would react if after the Curtis parents passed y/n, who is a Curtis sibling, started to act like how ponyboy does in the book after johnny and dally's death.
Also for the sibling thing, its really up to you on how old y/n is. You wanna make them the eldest of the siblings, go for it, you wanna make them a middle child whether their older or younger than soda, go for it, you wanna make them the youngest of the siblings, go for it, like I said, its really up to you.
Anyway if you don't want to do this you don't have to, but either way I hope you have a lovely day/night! Also you can call me bones since I'm already called that on @rumble-aint-a-rumble-without-me's page. sorry for the super long request!
OMG HI BONES! Thanks for the request love! I'm thinking for this one, Y/N’s gonna be a middle kid. Whether a year younger or older than Sodapop is gonna be up for interpretation. I'm also gonna borrow Dillo’s format for doing these kinda things <3
Edit : idk how Dillo makes theirs so pretty this is tricky what the heck
Darry Curtis
- He’s trying his best to help
- Don’t expect something really big and fancy, but Darry’s trying to show that he cares and that you aren't alone in the only ways he really knows how
- He’ll let you sleep in a little later than usual, he’ll go out of his way to make your favourite meal if you say you don't have much of an appetite
- Darry isn't the greatest at physical affection and saying he loves you, so he makes sure to show it the best he can
- Sometimes that means letting you fall asleep on his chest at night when the rest of the boys have fallen asleep for the evening, fingers carding through your hair
Sodapop Curtis
- He’s not too different from his eldest brother
- Soda makes sure to give you the time and rest you need (that every one needs, really), but also tries really hard to make sure you know you're not alone
- He’ll invite you to tag along when he goes out with Steve and the rest of the boys
- He’d probably put in some extra effort and maybe tidy your room when you head out to get some fresh air, too
- Unlike you're eldest brother, Sodapop is very comfortable with telling you he loves you and holding you against his chest, your head tucked just beneath his chin
Ponyboy Curtis
- Since he’s only 13 at the time, Ponyboy doesn't really know the best way to help you
- So he usually does what Soda or Darry ask him to do for you
- And, in a way, he finds his own way of getting you up and out of bed and around the people who love you
- Ponyboy will sit on the foot of you or bed and ask for help with homework (Not that he really needs it, but he likes hearing your voice)
- Other times he just likes to sit with you and tell you about his day, what he Johnny did, or any little thing on his mind
Two-Bit Mathews
- Two-Bit is very comfortable with physical affection. One of his favourite things to do is sit next to you on the sofa with one arm tossed around your shoulders
- He’s still quick to come up with a good joke here and there, but he also realizes that you're going through a rough time right now
- He brings you candy and a few other odds and sods, things that used to make you smile before the accident
- Two-Bit tells you all the time he better be the first one you call when you're ready to hit the town again
- He ends up making you laugh without even trying. It's the little things that get you, like when he tries juggling eggs in the kitchen and screams when Darry yells at him to “put those damn eggs back ‘less you wanna lay me another dozen!” from the other side of the house
Dallas Winston
- Your parents’ death hit everyone really hard. Dallas especially.
- Don’t expect any grand gestures of support, but Dallas does try. Just a little.
- He’ll swing by and pick you up a few nights a week, letting you know that it ain't natural for a kid to be spending their youth crying away in their bedroom on a fine Friday night when there are parties to crash
- Darry doesn't really approve, but this is the most he’s seen you out of your room since fur accident, so he figures he can turn a blind eye every now and again
- More often than not, Dallas will bring you around to Buck’s after hours so you can both have a drink in peace. Buck makes sure to lock the door and turn the lights off, giving you two all the time you need to reminisce and grieve
Steve Randle
- He really doesn't know how to help
- It’s not that he ignores you, but he's a lot keener on giving you space than the rest of the boys
- But he still talks to you and asks about your day, how you've been and what plans you have for the weekend
- Steve ends up inviting you to tag along when he goes out with Soda, usually saying they were heading to the DX for some candy. “You didn't havta come, just lemme know what you want.”
- As much as everyone thinks Steve doesn't care that much about you, he's the first one to notice you smile for the first time since the accident
Johnny Cade
- Johnny isn't great when it comes to helping people with their emotions. If you want to talk it all out, that's great and he’ll help as much as he can, but don't expect Johnny to pry or ask first
- He’s very comfortable with sitting next you in silence, maybe breaking it to ask about your day or share something he’d done in the last few days
- He likes collecting things for you
- Funny comics, cool bottle caps, Johnny will grab any and everything cool thing he can think of if it has the chance to make you smile
- He’s a lot like Ponyboy, doing the little things so you know you're not alone

Igniting Affection || Dallas "Dally" Winston
Summary: Request - could you please do a dallas winston x curtis!sister where she's soda's twin. one night (at like 11pm) after a fight with darry, she sneaks out. while walking on the streets, she gets followed and harassed by a group of guys when dally finds her and saves her. they confess their feelings for each other, and then he takes her home. darry is up stressed about her and when he sees her come in with dal of all people, he loses it (gives him a black eye lol). they end up convincing darry that they truly care for each other and dally promises not to hurt her. thank you so so much!!!
A/N: Soft Dallas is my FAVORITE.
Pairing: Dallas "Dally" Winston x Female Reader (Curtis Sister Reader)
Word Count: 5.5k +
TW: Punching, threats of violence, general Outsiders warnings
In the bustling Curtis household, you've always found a sense of both chaos and completeness. As Soda's twin you share more than just a birthday; his infectious laugh and easy charm are mirrored in you albeit with your own fiery independence. The pair of you are a fixture in the gang, equally loved and protected by your brothers and friends.
Lately though the dynamics at home have subtly shifted, especially your interactions with Dallas Winston. Dalla was always known for his tough exterior and rebellious nature and had been a part of your life for as long as you could remember. He was always there, in the background, his sharp eyes often finding yours across the room. Initially Dallas's attention was just another constant in your life, like the rumbling of motorcycles or the distant sound of rock and roll drifting through the neighborhood. But as you grew older so did the nature of his attention. It transformed, deepened. His glances lingered longer. His usual smirks were replaced with genuine smiles when you entered the room.
Darry and Soda started to notice the subtle changes too. In how Dallas stood a little closer to you than necessary, how he lingered at the Curtis house even after everyone else had left. His demeanor softened when you spoke. A stark contrast to the tough persona he presented to the rest of the world.
The gang teased him when you weren't around. Not cruelly but enough to make any other guy back off. But Dallas didn't care. He shrugged off their comments with a smirk, his usual defiance shining through. It seemed Dallas Winston, who never let anything affect him, was sweet on you and it was becoming more apparent by the day. He always liked you but as you were getting older his feelings seemed to shift from a protective friendship to something far deeper, much more tender. He'd grown to adore you and it showed not just in the way he watched you but in the small acts of kindness that he tried to hide—an extra soda by your side at the diner, his jacket over your shoulders on chilly nights.
The changes were subtle but significant. It set the stage for new tensions and old fears to collide especially with Darry's watchful eyes missing nothing.
Darry's reaction to Dallas's growing fondness for you was as expected—protective, skeptical, and a bit wary. As the eldest Curtis sibling Darry had always taken his responsibilities seriously, perhaps too seriously at times. He saw Dallas's tough reputation and the hard edges of his life, and it worried him. He wasn't blind to the subtle shift in Dallas's behavior around you or his lingering presence in your home. His disapproval was palpable. A silent tension that hung in the air whenever Dallas was around.
However, Soda, ever the peacemaker and your fiercest supporter saw things a bit differently. He noticed how Dallas’s eyes softened when he looked at you. How he always made sure you were laughing in a group. Soda pushed for Darry to give Dallas a chance, arguing that underneath the rough exterior, Dallas cared deeply. And not just about you but about all the people he considered his family. Soda’s arguments were lighthearted but persistent often accompanied by a slap on Darry's back and a grin trying to ease his brother into acceptance.
On a bustling weekday the DX station was a hub of activity. Cars lined up for gas, the air filled with the scent of oil and the sound of chatter. You usually manned the front desk with Sandy, handling the cash register and charming the customers with easy smiles and quick service. It was a routine that brought a sense of normalcy to the otherwise chaotic life of being a Curtis and a part of the gang.
Dallas knew your schedule by heart. A fact that he kept to himself but was evident in the timing of his visits. Today he strode into the DX expecting to find you behind the counter sharing a laugh with Sandy or flipping through a magazine during a rare quiet moment. Instead, he was met with the sight of just Sandy who was busily stacking receipts.
He walked up to her trying to mask his disappointment with a gruff nod. “Y/N’s not here?”
Sandy easily recognized the thinly veiled concern in his voice and shook her head with a smirk. “Nope she took off for a bit. Something about an errand or other.”
Dallas's frown deepened and without another word he turned on his heel and made his way to the garage where Soda and Steve worked with the occasional appearance from Two-Bit. Pushing open the door he found them buried under the hood of a Chevy, tools in hand.
“Where’s Y/N?” Dallas’s voice carried a touch of irritation. His usual cool demeanor slipping slightly.
Soda popped his head out, wiping sweat from his brow. “Hey, Dal. She had to run some errands. Didn’t say much. Why, missing her already?”
Steve didn’t miss a beat, adding with a chuckle, “Yeah, Dallas, you look lost without her. Should we put up missing posters?”
Dallas scowled before crossing his arms as he leaned against a workbench. “Very funny both of you. Just wondering is all.”
Two-Bit who had just walked in with a box of spare parts joined in the fun. “Wondering or pining? There’s a fine line and I think our boy Dallas is dancing right on it!”
The group erupted in laughter, even Dallas couldn’t help but smirk, shaking his head at his friends’ relentless teasing. Despite his tough exterior it was clear to everyone there that his visits were less about the cars and more about the chance to see you. As the laughter died down Soda clapped Dallas on the shoulder, his voice sincere, “Don’t worry Dal, she’ll be back soon. And hey, maybe you should just tell her, huh? Clear the air.”
Dallas shrugged with the corner of his mouth twitching upwards. “Maybe,” he muttered. His mind already planning his next visit, hoping it would coincide with yours.
Steve and Two-Bit exchanged a look. Their teasing smiles softening into something more akin to understanding. They knew where Dallas’s heart was and despite their jokes they were rooting for him—maybe even enough to pull Darry around eventually.
The evening had started off like any other in the Curtis household—dinner was a raucous affair with laughter and the clattering of dishes. But the atmosphere shifted palpably when Darry brought up your recent behavior. It was rare for you and Darry to clash. He was usually the understanding brother, the steady hand. But tonight, his patience seemed worn thin as you were late to dinner for the third time that week.
“Y/N, we need to talk about these late nights,” Darry began. His tone more of concern than anger. His eyes that usually warm held a hint of frustration.
You tensed feeling suddenly on edge. “What about them Dar?” Your voice was calm but underneath you felt a storm brewing.
“It’s not just the late nights. It’s everything. You’re out more, and when you’re home, you seem... distant.” Darry’s words were careful but to you they felt accusatory.
Soda, sensing the tension, tried to smooth things over. “Come on, Darry, Y/N’s just working extra shifts at the DX with Sandy or hanging out with her friends. It’s nothing serious.”
Darry shot Soda a look that silenced him. “It’s different, Soda. And you know it.”
You couldn’t help but feel cornered. “So, it’s okay for Soda to go off and do god knows what but I have to be kept under wraps? Tighter than Ponyboy, even?” The comparison came out harsher than you intended. You saw Ponyboy’s wince from the corner of your eye.
Pony hated this kind of confrontation and stepped forward. “Y/N, Darry’s just worried, you know? We all are. That’s all.”
“But why? Because I’m not just sitting around waiting for things to happen to me? Because I want something more than just this?” Your voice rose as you slapped the dining table with a mix of frustration and desperation. You were seeking an understanding where there seemed to be none.
Darry stood up, his stature imposing. “It’s not about holding you back. It’s about making sure you’re safe, that you’re not heading down a path that—”
You stood up to meet his eye, “A path that what, Darry? That you wouldn’t choose?” You interrupted. Your patience snapping. The room went silent with the weight of your words hanging heavily.
Soda tried again. His voice softer. “Y/N, just talk to us, okay? We’re all on the same team here.”
But the damage was done. You felt smothered, misunderstood, and the need for air, for space, overwhelmed you. “I need to get out of here,” you muttered before heading towards the door.
“Y/N, wait—” Darry’s call was too late. The front door slammed behind you leaving a stunned silence in your wake.
As you walked down the quiet, dark streets your heart pounded with a mix of anger and relief. The cool night air was a calm to your heated emotions. You knew you shouldn’t have left like that, but the walls of the house felt like they were closing in on you. You needed to think, to breathe.
Under the dim streetlights your footsteps echoed on the pavement. The familiar streets offering little comfort tonight. You just needed a moment alone to figure out how to bridge the gap growing between you and Darry. How to make him see you as you were not as he feared you might become.
The night air brushed against your cheeks as you hurried along the dimly lit streets of your neighborhood. The usual buzz of the city felt muted instead replaced by an eerie quiet that made every footstep echo with unusual clarity. Despite the tension at home there was a fleeting sense of freedom in being out here alone, walking where and when you chose. However, this freedom was tinged with apprehension. The shadows around each corner seeming to stretch a little longer in the moonlight.
As you continued to walk you noticed a group of figures leaning against the wall of the local convenience store. They weren’t the usual Socs you had to watch out for; these were greasers, some you recognized from around but never really interacted with. They were the kind who respected your brothers too much to ever say much to you, treating you as something akin to a community sister—off-limits and under the invisible protection of the Curtis household.
Tonight, however, with your brothers not around their demeanor shifted. As you passed by, their casual lounging straightened into something more attentive. "Hey, Y/N, out for a midnight stroll?" one of them called out. His tone teasing but carrying an edge you didn’t trust.
You offered a tight smile trying to get them to leave you the hell alone. You quickened your pace hoping to put distance between yourself and the group, but their laughter and footsteps seemed to echo menacingly in the quiet night. They flanked you loosely. Careful not to touch but making sure you felt their presence close and threatening.
"Come on, Y/N, don't be so uptight," one of them sneered. His voice a blend of mockery and veiled threat. "We're just curious why the cute little Curtis girl is all by herself tonight. No big brothers to call?"
Their words were meant to intimidate. They reminded you of the precariousness of your situation. The unspoken rule among the greasers—that you were off-limits because of your brothers' reputation—seemed thinner now. The line between respect and risk blurred by the night and their growing boldness.
Another from the group, a lanky figure with a smirk that didn't reach his eyes, leaned a little too close. "Yeah, where's Dallas tonight sweetheart? Too busy to keep an eye on his favorite girl?" He snickered as you tried walking faster. Their insinuations were clear. They wouldn't dare cross a line that could lead to a direct confrontation with the Curtis brothers or Dallas, but they found amusement in pushing you to the edge of your tolerance. You were an easy target without the usual protection of your family's presence, and they exploited that isolation.
You tried to keep your voice steady. Your fear masked under a veneer of confidence. "Look, I don't want trouble. Just leave me alone."
But their amusement only grew with your discomfort. "Aw, she wants to be left alone," mocked another. His tone dripping with false pity. "What do you say, guys? Should we give the princess her space?" Their laughter filled the air. It was a harsh contrast to the otherwise silent night. You realized then that your attempts at diplomacy were futile. Their respect for your family held them back only so much and without a tangible deterrent they felt free to torment you.
The vulnerability of your situation crystallized in your mind. You were truly alone and the protective bubble that had always surrounded you provided by your brothers and their fearsome reputations had momentarily burst. The reality of the streets, harsh and unforgiving, pressed in on you. The idea of finding a way out of this tightening circle became a desperate need.
As the tension around you escalated the distant rumble of a motorcycle engine suddenly cut through the night. The sound grew louder, more distinct, until it was clear that it was Dallas’s bike. A familiar, comforting noise in the otherwise threatening situation. The group surrounding you turned toward the sound with uncertainty flickering across their faces.
Dallas wasn’t merely out for a ride. He was on a mission. After the heated argument at home and your abrupt departure, Soda had grown increasingly worried. He knew how headstrong you could be and despite his own urge to go after you he recognized that you might not take well to him or Darry showing up. Instead, he’d grabbed the phone and called Dallas before explaining the situation and his concern. “She might listen to you, man. She’s really upset, and who knows what could happen out there tonight,” Soda had said with his voice tense.
Acknowledging the urgency, Dallas had immediately revved up his bike and headed towards your usual haunts. His instincts telling him where you might be. As he spotted the group around you his worry turned into protective fury. He pulled up sharply, the bike’s engine cutting off as he dismounted swiftly. His presence commanding and his expression thunderous.
“What’s going on here?” Dallas demanded. His voice a cold, hard slash through the tension. The greasers hesitated as they were caught off guard by his sudden appearance and the unmistakable threat in his posture.
One of them tried to play it cool, “Just chatting, Dal. No harm meant.” But the nervous glance he shot his friends told a different story.
Dallas stepped closer, his eyes not leaving yours, ensuring you were unharmed. “Doesn’t look like she’s enjoying the chat. I think it’s time you guys find somewhere else to be,” he said. His tone leaving no room for arguments.
As the group dispersed, mumbling, and avoiding his gaze, Dallas’s stern expression softened when he turned back to you. “Soda called me. He said you took off after the fight. He was worried… and honestly, so was I,” he confessed, his concern palpable.
Relief washed over you mingled with a touch of embarrassment. “I just needed some air, that’s all. I didn’t mean for any of this to happen,” you murmured while feeling the weight of the night’s events start to settle on your shoulders.
Dallas shook his head slightly. A ghost of a smile appearing. “No one’s blaming you.”
After ensuring the group had actually left and you were safely away from any immediate danger, Dallas didn't immediately urge you onto the bike. Instead, he leaned against it. His expression contemplative as he watched the night settle back into its usual quiet. The tension that had wired every line of his body seemed to relax slightly as he turned to look at you standing there in the dim streetlight.
“You okay?” he asked. His voice softer this time, filled with genuine concern. The protective anger had faded leaving room for something more tender.
You nodded while trying to muster a convincing smile. “Yeah, I’m fine. It was nothing,” you said, attempting to downplay the incident.
Dallas just shook his head. His gaze intense and knowing. “Don’t say it was nothing. I saw your face, the way they were around you. It’s not nothing,” he insisted, his voice firm, indicating that he saw through your façade. Your eyes even in the dim light told him the true story of your fear.
You sighed. The fight draining out of you. It was useless to pretend with Dallas. He always seemed to know how you really felt. “Alright, maybe it shook me up more than I want to admit,” you conceded with your voice softening.
Dallas's expression softened too. His concern replaced with a tender vulnerability. "I can’t stand the thought of something happening to you," he confessed, his voice low. "Seeing those guys crowd you like that... it made my blood boil."
He continued now with his words tumbling out in a restless stream. "You know, it's just... when I think about you out here, all alone, it drives me crazy. Not just tonight, but always, whenever you're out late or when you're working those long shifts at the DX. I'm always wondering if you're safe or if someone's giving you a hard time."
He paused. His brow furrowed as he tried to organize his thoughts. "And it's like, I know we've both been dancing around this… whatever this is between us. Because, what if it gets weird, right? What if it changes everything and then things with the gang get all... I don't know, messed up because of us?"
His hand gestures grew more animated as he struggled to articulate his feelings. His usual cool demeanor unraveling a bit. "And I keep thinking, maybe I should say something, maybe I shouldn’t... It’s just, you mean a lot to me, more than you should, more than I let on."
As Dallas rambled on, his expression earnest and tinged with anxiety, your initial shock at his sudden outpouring began to melt away into something softer, warmer. With each word, each fumbled attempt to express his fears and feelings, your smile grew. The tension that had wrapped around you both that was fueled by the night's earlier events and the years of unspoken emotions started to unravel.
He looked almost comical. A stark contrast to his usual stoic self, as he struggled to piece together the right words. His hands gesturing wildly before he finally paused and admitted, "Dammit, I'm messing this up." Then, with a deep breath, he laid everything out: "Look, what I’m trying to say is—I like you. A lot. More than a friend. More than just someone I hang around with. I like you a lot Y/N."
Watching the transformation in his face from frustration to bare, honest declaration, your heart swelled. When he finally admitted his feelings so directly your smile blossomed brilliantly. The warmth in your chest sparking into joyous flames.
Without a moment's hesitation you closed the small distance between you, flinging your arms around his neck. "I like you too, idiot!" you exclaimed with laughter bubbling up through the words. Your voice was light, teasing, filled with relief and affection. The moment felt like a release. As if all the pent-up emotions had finally been given permission to breathe.
As you stood wrapped in Dallas's arms, the world seemed to fade into a backdrop for this singular moment between you two. The night air, the distant sounds of the city, all fell away, leaving only the sound of your joined laughter and the warmth of his embrace.
With a tender motion that felt both daring and inevitable Dallas leaned in closer. His eyes searched yours for just a moment, asking for permission, and finding no hesitation, he kissed you. The kiss was intimate. A slow melding of lips that spoke of suppressed longing and newfound freedom to express everything that had been held back for so long.
As he pulled back a mischievous smirk played across his lips. "Did you just call me an idiot?" he teased his voice low and playful.
The absurdity and sweetness of the moment overwhelmed you and laughter spilled from you in a joyful cascade. "Maybe I did," you admitted with a grin. Your happiness bubbling over. "But you kind of deserved it, don't you think?"
Dallas's smirk broadened into a full smile, rare and striking on his usually reserved face. "Yeah, maybe I did," he agreed. His voice warm with affection and amusement.
Standing there with Dallas under the streetlight with his arms still around you, the night took on a different hue. What had started as an angry escape from home had transformed into a pivotal chapter in your story. One filled with unexpected confessions and the thrill of mutual feelings finally acknowledged. The laughter between you two echoed softly in the quiet street. A sound of lightness and promise as you both reveled in how wonderfully the night was turning out.
With a last chuckle shared between the two of you Dallas's expression shifted back to one of concern. The protective streak that had driven him to you tonight reasserting itself. "We gotta get you home," he said with a slight frown creasing his brow as he considered the potential fallout of the evening. "You probably gave Darry a heart attack, running out like that."
He then took a helmet from the back of the bike and carefully placed it on your head, his fingers deftly securing the straps to ensure it was snug. “Gotta keep you safe,” he murmured, almost to himself. With a gentle but firm hand he helped you onto the bike. His protective nature in full display.
Once you were settled he climbed on in front of you. “Hold on tighter,” he instructed with a note of concern in his voice. He had always been reluctant to have you on the bike thinking you were too precious to be exposed to the risks. An ironic sentiment considering the circumstances.
You wrapped your arms around him, holding on tighter as he had asked. The security of his presence enveloped you. The bike roared to life beneath you and as you sped away the cool night air whipped around you carrying away the remnants of fear. Riding with Dallas you felt a profound sense of safety. A stark contrast to the vulnerability of just moments before.
As you and Dallas pulled up to the Curtis house with the engine's rumble cutting through the quiet of the late night, you could already see Darry pacing on the porch. His silhouette tense against the dimly lit doorway. The moment you stepped off the bike the worry and anger in Darry's eyes were palpable. Seeing you arrive not alone but with Dallas at the helm visibly escalated his anxiety to fury.
"Dallas?!" Darry's voice boomed across the yard. His tone thick with disbelief and rising anger. "Of all people, you had to show up with him?"
As Darry's anger surged forward Dallas's response was remarkably restrained. Despite his usual readiness to fight back or stand his ground, tonight was different. He understood the weight of the moment and the emotions driving Darry's actions. As Darry advanced, Dallas's stance was defensive but not aggressive. He raised his hands, palms outward, in a clear gesture of peace.
"Darry, listen—" Dallas started, his voice calm but firm, attempting to de-escalate the tension. He didn't want to fight, especially not tonight, not over this. And certainly not with you watching, worried and tense.
But Darry was blinded by worry and anger. He wasn't ready to listen. His fist swung out, more a reaction to the overwhelming stress of the night than a genuine intention to harm. Dallas didn't dodge. He took the hit. The impact of the punch landing solidly, the pain sharp but expected. Dallas's head snapped to the side, the force leaving a darkening mark that would soon swell into a black eye.
Even as he reeled from the blow, Dallas's focus remained on trying to settle the situation without further violence. "I'm not here to cause trouble, Darry," he said while steadying himself. His voice still level. "I just wanted to make sure she was safe." As tensions flared between Darry and Dallas you were quick to intervene with your voice rising in the cool night air, laced with shock and frustration. Seeing Dallas willingly take the hit and not fighting back against Darry's sudden burst of anger, ignited your own protective instincts.
"Darry, stop! What are you doing?!" you exclaimed while rushing forward to place yourself between them, your hands pushing against Darry's chest as you faced him squarely. The sight of Dallas, holding his face, clearly in pain yet standing down fueled your words with an urgency and a sharpness.
"He was just trying to help! He didn’t come here to fight," you continued. Your voice breaking slightly under the strain of emotion. "He protected me tonight when I needed it. How can you just hit him like that?"
Your words, impassioned and direct, seemed to pierce through the haze of Darry's anger, reaching him in a way that visibly shook his resolve. He glanced from your upset face to Dallas's subdued expression. The reality of his actions settling in heavily. The tension in his shoulders eased as he took a step back. His fists unclenching as he took in the full scene—his sister defending the very person he had instinctively seen as a threat.
The situation gradually deescalated with your firm intervention reminding everyone involved of the deeper bonds and mutual concern that held your group together. Darry's posture softened, his expression morphing into one of regret and concern. Not just for you but for the unnecessary harm he had caused Dallas. "I... I'm sorry," Darry finally muttered. His voice low, directed at both you and Dallas. "I wasn't thinking straight. I shouldn't have hit you."
This conciliatory moment that was sparked by your emotional plea helped to bridge the gap of misunderstanding and tension, allowing for a more open and honest discussion about the night's events and the feelings involved. It was a raw but necessary confrontation that ultimately strengthened the understanding and trust within your family.
As Soda emerged onto the scene he quickly assessed the tension, noting the standoff and Dallas holding his eye. The atmosphere was charged but already cooling as you stood firmly between Dallas and Darry bridging the gap with your determined presence.
Seeing that the initial fury had subsided, and words were taking the place of fists, Soda's intervention was gentle but firm. "Alright, what’s going on here?" he asked. His tone carrying enough authority to ensure no further escalations.
Darry, still caught in the mix of anger and regret, glanced at Soda, then back at you and Dallas. The anger in his eyes had dimmed instead replaced by a recognition of his overreaction. "I... I overreacted," Darry admitted. His voice low and carrying the weight of his apology. "Sorry, Dallas."
Dallas, still nursing his eye but visibly calmer, gave a slight nod in acknowledgment, accepting the apology without further conflict. His gaze met yours briefly. A silent thank you for your defense and understanding. Soda's eyes moved between the three of you, his expression easing into relief as he realized the worst was over. "Let’s just take a minute here," he suggested, his voice light but carrying an underlying seriousness. "No more surprises tonight, okay?"
His casual demeanor helped to dissipate the remaining tension serving as a reminder that despite the upheaval the bonds within your group remained strong. With a brief clasp on Darry's shoulder, Soda signaled that it was time to move past the conflict.
“Let's head inside. We all need to cool off,” Soda finally said, indicating the porch as a way to leave the incident behind physically and metaphorically. This simple suggestion helped to restore a sense of normalcy, guiding everyone back into the safety and familiarity of the house.
As the tension dissipated and everyone moved inside you led Dallas to the couch. Your focus on his well-being showing clearly through your gentle care. You fetched some ice, wrapping it in a towel, and carefully applied it to his swollen eye. Dallas, tough as always, tried not to wince but the grateful look he shot you didn't go unnoticed.
Soda leaned against the doorframe, a teasing smile playing on his lips. "Looks like Dally's finally found someone who can knock him off his feet," he quipped. His tone light but his eyes twinkling with mischief.
You couldn't help but roll your eyes with a warm flush spreading across your cheeks as you focused on adjusting the ice pack. "Shut up, Soda," you muttered. Unable to suppress a smile. Your blush deepened, giving away more than you intended.
From across the room Darry observed the scene, his expression shifting from concern to curiosity as he noted the interaction. Finally, he cleared his throat, deciding to address the elephant in the room. "So, what's going on with you two?" he asked. His voice direct but not unkind.
You paused, meeting Dallas’s eyes for a brief moment before responding. "I like him. He likes me. We're going to see where it goes," you stated simply, honesty in your tone. Soda's reaction was immediate and enthusiastic. He punched the air lightly, a wide grin spreading across his face.
Dallas who was caught a bit off guard by the straightforward declaration and Soda’s exuberance, chuckled softly, shaking his head in disbelief at how the night had turned out. Then, turning towards Darry, who still seemed to be weighing his feelings about the situation, Dallas spoke earnestly.
"Look, Darry, I know I’m not the kind of guy you pictured for her. But I promise you this, no one's gonna look after her better than me," Dallas said. His voice carrying a sincerity that filled the room. "She means more to me than just... well, anything."
Darry looked at Dallas, then at you, and then back at Dallas again searching for any hint of insincerity. Finding none and moved by Dallas's words, he finally nodded, a reluctant smile breaking through his initial reservations. "Alright," he conceded, "just... make sure you keep that promise."
The room relaxed into a quiet, comfortable silence, filled with new understandings and quiet acknowledgments of the shifts in your relationships. As you continued to hold the ice to Dallas's eye, a soft smile played on your lips, both of you sharing a moment of quiet connection grateful for the night's unexpected revelations and the paths they were paving forward.
In the weeks that followed your night of revelations life settled into a new rhythm with Dallas at your side. The change was subtle but profound, marked not by grand gestures but by quiet moments that spoke volumes about the depth of your connection. Whether hanging out at the Curtis house or spending time together at the DX, you and Dallas found your stride, intertwining your daily lives with ease. The gang's initial teasing faded into a background hum instead replaced by an unspoken acceptance as they witnessed the genuine care between you two.
One evening as you both sat on the hood of his car, parked at a lookout point overlooking the town, Dallas broke the comfortable silence. "I never planned on any of this," he said. His tone reflective. "But now, I can’t imagine it any other way."
You smiled as your hand found his in the dim light. "Life’s funny like that," you replied. "The best things happen when you least expect them."
Dallas gave a half-smile while squeezing your hand gently. "Yeah, they do," he agreed. He looked out at the view, the lights of the town twinkling below, a mirror to the stars above. "With you, it’s different. It’s better. And I want to keep it that way."
"Then we will," you said simply. The promise hanging in the air, easy and assured.
As you both sat there with the night deepening around you, the challenges of the past seemed like distant echoes. The road ahead wasn't clear and life with the gang was never without its ups and downs, but together, you felt ready for whatever might come. In the quiet solidarity of the moment, you knew that as long as you both held on to this shared sense of understanding and respect. You could face the future with confidence.
With the stars overhead as witnesses and the gentle night breeze as your accompaniment the simple yet profound realization that you were exactly where you needed to be cemented itself in your heart.

Hi dear I hope you're doing well and I was hoping if you can do the whole greaser gang with a s/o that's like Fiona Gallagher from the show shameless? Like she's taking care of her six siblings and her dad who's usually at the bar or passed out somewhere. Their mother ran out and is mentally ill so their s/o is left to be her siblings mother/father/ and nurse fill free to ignore if you want to do and I hope you have a good day!
Summary: The Outsider x Fiona Gallagher!Reader Warnings:mentions of absent mother, drinking, very toxic adult behavior, dysfunctional family Author's Note: gonna be busy tmrw and weekend again, ill try and post 1 fic per day but no promises.
PONYBOY CURTIS
Ponyboy doesn’t really live in a dysfunctional family, yes his home life is tough but Darry loves him and tries his best and pony knows that
However, pony cant mentally put himself in Darry’s shoes of having no-one to lean on and having to take care of many siblings
When he first met you, he was absolutely smitten. And when you told him of your problems, he thought you were the toughest chick in town
He often asks Darry what to do to take a couple of burdens off your shoulder. He applies it to you and also at home, you’ve made him a better person.
JOHNNY CADE
Has a dysfunctional family and can understand, to an extent..he still gets fed sometimes and doesn’t have to work to stay in his home
But he doesn’t have a hard time adjusting to you.
He’s very open and loves your siblings, so he tries to take them out as many times as possible to give you some rest.
He genuinely doesnt understand how your parents could have left you doing all this by yourself when you’re such a perfect girl.
SODAPOP CURTIS
Soda admires you like you’re a work of art.
He takes everything into consideration, for example, if he wants to take you on a date he’ll invite some of the gang members to hang out with your siblings and keep them away
Never asks you for anything, not to rant, vent or anything. He feels as if his problems could never measure up to yours so his whole world revolves around you.
Tries to spend as much of his money as possible to get you nice things and spoil you.
STEVE RANDLE
Steve understands how tough it is for you mentally. He’ll often stop by your place with something for you, like a box of chocolates or something.
Whenever he’s over, he makes an effort to get to know and play with your siblings, he even was going to introduce himself to your dad. You convinced him it was a bad idea so he didnt.
He makes it known that you can tell him anything, literally anything, and he’d listen. He also wants you to know that you can call him anytime and he’d come for you.
Reassures you that he won’t ever leave you, that you’re special and he’s madly in love with you.
TWO-BIT MATHEWS
Two-Bit has some kid experience so he tries his hardest to keep your siblings company and even brings his sisters for ‘playdates’
Really enjoys spending time with you and would even do the chores around the house with you to keep talking with you.
He’s not very good at comforting people and he tries to make up for it by using his humor. You get where he’s coming from and it often helps a lot actually.
Tries his best to look nice for you when he comes over, he wants you to know he’s not a washed up nobody like your parents and wants to be a rolemodel to your siblings.
DARRY CURTIS
Often tells you that you’re perfect and that your siblings will grow so much better with you as their ‘parent’. He once made you cry because of what he said and he just held you in his arms while you sobbed.
He can sort of relate to what you’re going through but his is not as extreme as yours.
Whenever he can he drops by to help you. Date night consists of making dinner for your siblings, washing the dishes and having a late night dinner together after you put your siblings to bed.
He knows you'd make a perfect wife since he’s old enough to marry, just waiting on the right time to pop the question.
DALLAS WINSTON
Dallas is insensitive and rude to you. He knows what you’re going through, he just doesn’t care.
However, once you caught him putting on a bandaid for your younger brother. He wasn’t kind about it, saying things like “can’t you do this yourself?” but he still did it.
He knows you saw it and thinks that hanging around your house and helping you with chores and siblings will keep you quiet about it
He doesn’t like kids, but he tolerates them for his reputation, and because you’re growing on him.

curtis sister!reader hcs?
(idk dude, with the gang or just with the curtis')
The Outsiders x Curtis Sister!Reader
Authors Note - I don't know exactly what you meant, so I'm just winging it. Enjoy! Ps: I did the whole gang, so some of these are platonic (because their you're siblings, duh) P.P.S: You're Sodas twin, it's just easier and you're in a better age range. Yeah.
Darry Curtis -
Since Darry is more laid back on Soda, I think he'd be laid back with you, too. Only difference is he's way more protective of you. Only thing is he has no idea what to do with you since you're female. He tries, though. Like if some guy broke your he'd beat their ass. Anytime a new partner comes he gives them the dad-style lecture. Pretty much the ideal big brother.
Sodapop Curtis -
Well you are twins, so it's only logical you're close. If I'm being honest people have probably thought you two were dating. Like you're both hot as hell. So everything someone asks you both are like 'Ew, we're literally siblings.' You two are basically joined at the hip. Not like matching outfits close, you two have different lives, but you and Soda tell each other everything. Since you both have middle child problems, it makes sense. Basically you 2 are besties.
Ponyboy Curtis -
Literally talks to you about everything. Girls? He comes to you. School? He comes to you. You're like the one big sibling he can open up to. Somethings he tells Soda, others he tells you. He finds comfort in you since you kind of remind him of mom. No one else sees it, but he does. You two argue, he's your little brother, it's only logical. Mostly about really stupid shit like he ate the last piece of chocolate cake pr something. But despite that you two are really close. Yahoo.
Dallas Winston-
Since he comes to the Curtis house a lot, he sees you a lot. And since your Sodapop's twin, you're hot as hell. You can see where this is going. The gang caught on whenever Dal would start inviting you to hang out with them. Or if you'd leave and he coincidentally had to go meet Buck at the same time. Anyways you're dating, he treats you as nice as Dallas Winston can. Darry hates it. Of all the nice boys you could've dated you picked the one most likely to break your heart. He's caught Dal sneaking in at least 5 times. Anyways Dal treats you pretty well, so eventually Darry treats him like he used to. It takes a while, though. A lot of glares.
Johnny Cade -
He met you whenever you wandered into the kitchen for something. The whole gang waved like you were a normal occurrence, so Johnny went with the crowd and waved back. He almost fell off the arm of the couch when you smiled and waved back at him. Honestly, your siblings were all for this. Johnny's the sweetest thing alive, he's your best option. Heck, Soda probably set you two up. Once you two started dating Darry didn't really care. It's Johnny, he had no reason to threaten him with a loaded shotgun. Johnny still gets nervous around Darry, though. Plus one time Pony walked in on you two kissing and it was awkward for them for like 4 weeks. Other then that it's like you aren't even a Curtis sibling.
Two-Bit Mathews -
He met you whenever you came out to hang out with the gang since you got bored of studying. He cracked some jokes like he usually does, but once he realized you thought he was funny, he made a scary amount of jokes, even for him. The gang noticed it, Darry was already like 'fuck no'. He's practically an alcoholic, you're too good for him. Somehow he pulled you, and Darry isn't as protective, but he still glares. Like if Two-Bit invites you to a party, somehow Darry pops out of thin air and glares. It's scary. But eventually it just becomes normally and everyone's okay with it. Anytime Two makes a dirty joke Darry silently threatens him with his life, though.
Steve Randle -
You came over to DX one time to ask Soda what he wanted for dinner. Instead you were met with Steve, who had no idea you were Soda's twin sister, and started hitting on you. Eventually Soda, you two talk, Steve connects the dots. He doesn't care though, he keeps flirting with you everything he sees you. Eventually you two start dating. Soda thinks it's weird, like his best friend is literally dating his female self. Steve didn't see it, though. Darry isn't too strict, I mean sure Steve's a dumbass but he doubts he'd hurt you. So no one really cares except Soda. He'll never see you or Steve the same.

Sodapop x Male Reader - Falling In Love, part 2
Sodapop Curtis x Soc!Male Reader - Can’t Help Falling In Love [Part 2]
Part 1 , Part 2
I’m so sorry this took so long, but I’m working on a Part 3 cause I randomly got motivation-
Tags: @saaiimaakii , I forgot who else is on my tag list Um sorry bout that
x
The crisp, afternoon Tulsa air surrounded him, his hair occasionally being pushed back and forth in front of his eyes. A sandwich in one hand, plaid sleeves rolled up to his elbows, the middle Curtis sibling sits on the steps at one of the various doors entering into the local high school.
In front of him was a big, empty field, as well as a road; separating him from the rest of the town just across the way. Most kids played soccer, or football in that field, though since no one really took much care of it the yellowed-grass began growing too tall for it to be easy.
The boy takes another bite of his sandwich, impatiently sighing as he ducks his head down a bit to wipe his forehead.
“What’s taking you so long, Pony…” he mumbles, having been waiting for him outside for nearly a half hour. The sky around him has began turning orange already.
“Yeah no, I’ll see you later man.” A muffled voice says from behind the doors, making Sodapop curiously turn around to look.
There were footsteps coming from inside, some shuffling, before the door could be heard getting pushed open.
Not recognizing the voice as Ponyboy’s, it’s was much too deep, Sodapop turns back around and takes another bite of his sandwich.
‘Probably just some Soc.’
“Curtis?”
‘..oh fuck’
While it was, in fact, a Soc, Sodapop spins his head around in surprise and looks at one he wasn’t expecting- Y/n L/n. There he stood- gorgeous eyes reflecting off the orange light and staring straight into Sodapop’s own.
“Oh, well hey there.” He says smoothly, a heat spreading up to his face and covering his skin.
In front of the door, Y/n stands tall with one hand in his pocket, and the other holding the singular backpack-strap that had been slung over his shoulder. He looked confused, aside from the small smile, with his eyebrows furrowed down and his head tilted to the side, hair falling into his eyes.
Sodapop can’t stop himself, eyes moving across his entire body subtly before forcing himself to turn back around.
Y/n’s scuffed shoes scrape against the pavement, and Sodapop could hear his bag meeting the floor as the soc sat beside him on the steps.
“You mind if I sit?” He asks anyways, the Curtis boy glancing over at him; mouth going dry as his mind begins swirling, past night-time scenarios coming alive again at the possibility of being fulfilled.
“No, course not.”
He smiles, looking out across the field and the changing sky happily.
“The sky’s real pretty” he murmurs under his breath, Sodapop nodding in agreement. With a big grin etched into his features, Soda taps his fingernails against each other as he fought the urge to let his eyes wander back to Y/n’s pretty, e/c colored eyes.
“Seems winter’s finally starting to come to an end” Y/n continues, yet to look back to the boy next to him like Soda so desperately wanted.
“Yeah, finally starting to warm up a bit huh?” Soda tries.
The air around them was warm, further proving his point, and after a small pause Y/n continues talking until the greaser beside him got the courage to add anything more.
“My dad took me to see the drag race, last weekend.” Soda’s face lights up- this topic being one he excelled in.
“Really?”
The excited tone threaded into his voice caught Y/n’s attention quickly, raising an eyebrow as a sly smile formed.
“Yeah, he likes naming all the cars he sees there,” the Soc speaks fondly, “these things always get him excited.”
Sodapop clung to his every word, memorizing the sound of his voice as to never forget it. He didn’t even realize whenever Y/n had finally turned his head the full way around, only to see the blue eyed boy looking at him with so much admiration and interest that Y/n blinked once, twice out of surprise.
Realizing this, Soda quickly turns his head out of embarrassment, leaning forward to readjust himself shyly. Y/n’s eyes followed his every movement, intruiged.
His eyes still set onto the greaser’s figure, he spoke again.
“You also like cars, don’t you?”
Sodapop felt his shoulders tensing, butterflies attacking his ribs.
Albeit him working at the DX was common knowledge, his heart swelled at the thought of Y/n knowing at all. Did he notice? Did that mean he’s been paying attention to Soda?
“-You and Steve, working down at the gas station. I thought I saw you two down at the track during the last show.”
Soda lets himself look at the boy again.
“Yeah, no- we go to those shows anytime we can.” He chuckles, y/n following in suit.
‘His laugh…’
His lips curl upwards in a soft, excited smile. He loved his laugh- their proximity giving it such a clear sound compared to whenever he normally got the chance to hear it from a couple stools down at the Dingo’s crowded bar. They were so close, Soda’s fidgeting fingers almost reaching out to hold his s/c hand.
His heart was thumping in his body, as if it was trying to reach out for the soc as well.
“Man,” the breathy sigh snaps Sodapop out of his heartsick thoughts, “it’s almost 5, I’m sorry Soda I’ve gotta start walkin’.”
Y/n moves his eyes away from the fancy-looking watch in his wrist, meeting the bold blues of the other teen. Sodapop physically feels himself deflating, though doesn’t try to stop the other boy from getting up off the steps.
“That’s fine- I guess it is getting dark.” Soda shrugs.
Y/n grabs his bag again, throwing it over his shoulder before turning to give Sodapop one last look.
“I was wondering,” he shifts in his spot, “would you or Steve ever wanna join me? Y’know, go to the races together?”
Soda’s cheeks darken, y/n almost looked hopeful.
“Yeah, no no that’d be great!” The greaser accepts graciously, nearly jumping out of his spot. Y/n smiles at him excitedly.
“Alright then, great. Just let me know if you’re free for the next one alright?”
Sodapop nods, the soc finally turning around to begin his walk to the parking lot. As soon as his figure turns the corner, out of Soda’s sight, the boy jumps up and pumps a fist in the air.
“Yes!” He whispers victoriously, letting out a breathy laugh.
No Soc had ever invited him anywhere- none the less Y/n L/n. And he looked so excited when he had said yes, meaning-
“Soda!!”
Snapping his head toward the voice, his celebration coming to a quick stop, he sees Ponyboy running at him with books in his arms.
“Ponyboy?”
The boy in question stops when he makes it to his brother, rolling his eyes.
“You were supposed to pick me up out front.” He replies bluntly, glaring. He couldn’t stay mad at Soda long, but he still held the look strong.
Sodapop comes to a quick realization, running a hand down his face.
“Oh.”
With another eye roll from the teen, the two begin their walk away from the schools doors, Sodapop falling behind.
Wrong door or not, look where it led him, right?

Hii!!
I love your work, and was just wondering if you could do headcannons for Dallas Winston dating the really happy-go-lucky Curtis sister. Her and soda are twins so she’s pretty much soda but a girl. She’s very affectionate and always needs hugs and cuddles! She is really happy and excited, but also sometimes feels like she can’t be sad or angry around people she loves.

-> a/n: wait i loved this request sm!! i hope i did it justice <3
{💖}
JSKSJWIDJ
the curtis's were very very very VERY hesitant for you to start dating dally
what if you broke up? would the gang have to pick sides? dally or the curtis's sister?
9no its too risky
it was only when the guys could list all the times they caught dally staring at you with a fond smile and dazed eyes did they realize his feelings for you were legit
as the oldest, darry of course had to give the 'you break her heart i'll f you up, no hesitation pal'
dally sat through it all while soda watched him intently
when you were official and shit, dear god the shit you'd do
it was like
humorously atrocious
to put it into words, two-bit's shenanigans times 5
I DISRESPECTFULLY RESPECTFULLY BELIEVE
a.) soda takes it upon himself to stay up and get all the details when you come home late from a date
b.) soda gags everytime you and dally are in an embrace for a little too long
as the 'Curtis Cuddlebug', you like to hug and be touchy because you didn't have that for some time or whatever BUT soda 13929292093929381% feels weird watching you hug dally instead of him
like,
you and soda (as twins) had the closest bond of anyone in the gang
so anytime shit hit the fan, you'd find yourself going to soda and him to you
youd gossip and shit talk and fight and do all the fun sibling tingz
but then
his heart kinda sinks when he realized he hasn't cuddled w you for a couple days
but its not like he can really say anything if youre happy
MOVING ON
shotgunning. with dallas.
MEOWMEOWPURRAWOOOOGAAA
thats when you really hash out some feelz
you'll pass the blunt back and forth, staring up at the stars (youre in dall's car bc he knows ur a sucker for watching the stars and cuddling and blah blah blah)
if you had like brought a blanket or two, dallas would a hundred percent pull you into him so he could get some lovin'
dally only likes affection coming from you and you alone argue with the fucking WALL.
some days you'll just sigh and bury your head into his chest. dally'll rub your back and smiling when you squirm to get closer to him cuz bros a little touch starved
"dally?"
"yeah?"
you sigh again. "i feel like shit sometimes. a lot actually"
this makes dally a lil worried "what?"
"soda 'n i are... happy-go-lucky, y'know? we gotta be smiling all the time, always... strong; confident," you tell him
dally's absorbing your words, wondering where tf ur going with this
"but then i realize i dont wanna be strong all the time. i know soda feels the same way i just," you sniffle lightly
dally's eyebrows? through the roof. is he uncomfortable? undoubtedly.
he isnt too comfortable with the way anyone expresses emotions tbh
but will always attempt to comfort you in any way he can
"whatchu mean, doll?"
his heart flips around when he hears you choke back a sob
"means i don' wanna always be smilin' and jokin' and not be taken seriously. i fuckin'- i need a break dall. a break from everything"
dally snuffs out his joint in an ashtray he set on the car and wraps both arms around you as you cry in his arms
he didnt know any of you felt like that
wow okay
if you stayed at his place at 'his' room he's literally heart eyes at you weari g his boxers and his a t shirt
he'd just "c'mere sweetheart lemme show you how loved you are" and pull you onto him
thats about as far as you get with him and the "L'' word
dally???talks????in?????his??????sleep???????
it's so adorable i think it was one of Dillo's works but he'd be a mumbly and clingy and HOLY FU
where can i get one?
back to sussy soda
he's happy for you. he really is
but dallas is snatching up his best friend, sibling, and cuddle bug from right under his nose
soda's pretty protective idgaf
you'd still have ur gossip sessions, but soda still feels bizarre when you're with him
something changed when you and dally started dating
if (IF) dally proposed
it'd be casual
like im talking
dq date, in the middle of drinking a shake he'd pull up with
"marry me doll?"
YESS MA'AM
dally is highkey afraid of rejection, now that he's so involved with you
but you smother him in kisses to prove otherwise
i cant
i
sorry but i cant get the visual of tired!dally out of my head
specially tired!hammered!clingy!dally
he'd attatch himself to your waist when he's 🤏🏼 that close to passing out because even absolutely hammered, he knows youll take care of him
absolutely refuses to let yoy pay bail for him when he gets arrested
but dont expect him to pay bail for you either bc bro kinda poor
he'd prolly just do smth to be in the slammer with you
#couplegoals
but you will 110 percent be getting the Disappointed Look™️ from darry
soda would point and laugh
pony would just shake his head with a knowing smile
once again:
where can i get one???

Curtis Brother Hcs
Requested by Outsiders Anon: "Ted. Teddy. Theodore. I see all these writings and requests of Y/N Curtis sister dating one of the gang. I love them, they're great. But to be honest I think we need some Y/N Curtis sibling and Y/N Curtis brother to balance out the playing field for those who don't really relate to being a sister *cough me included but yk*. Big love and big spaghet - outsiders anon"
{The actual euphoria I got from opening my inbox and find you calling me Theodore-}
{much love and much spageht to you as well}
Platonic!Curtis brothers x brother!reader as well as implied Dallas Winston x male!Curtisbrother!reader
trigger warnings: some swears, my lack of knowing how to actually interact with a brother bc mine doesn't talk to me, and guys being dudes ^tm
premise: hcs for the ask
{If you want more of your asks to be outright Male!reader go ahead and ask!}
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
okay, so your sodapops twin
you both swear you don't look alike, and considering your twins, you don't very much, but the similarities are still there
I feel like before the car wreck, you joined in horsing around with the gang a lot
I'm talking wrestling, fighting, compettions for everything
but then your parents die and things get a lot more serious
Darry won't let you drop out of school like Soda, bcause your grades are real good,
he's just trying to look out for you, becuase scholarships could certainly get you somewhere he couldn't
So you spend most of your time at school, and if your not their your working
it makes Ponyboy sad, not getting to see his big brother as much, but he tries to go visit you when he can
every time he gets Two-bit to take him down to the grocery where you work two ends up generally making fun of your awkward apron/uniform
on the very rare occurrence where Pony gets Dallas to come with him, he normally stands up for you, or makes comments I feel like 'you know I love a working guy, doll' or something that doesn't even make full sense.
hes doing his best
everytime you laugh and shake your head and just sort of go back to stocking a shelf or something as you start blushing.
Pony gets so mad but he can't do anything really
'you making moves on my brother winston?'
'what are you gonna do about it ponybitch?'
D:<
sodapop likes to make jokes that becuase twins are supposed to be divided from one set of sells or whatever you got the brains and he got the looks
everytime it's just eyerolls
so many eye rolls
You know how Darry calls Pony 'little buddy'?
Well Pony's 'little buddy' Sodas 'little pal' and your 'little man'
the rest of the gang are pretty much any other variation of 'friend' with little slapped on the front
I'm not saying that Saturdays are for the boys, but Saturdays are for the curtis brothers and you know damn well that means Darry getting the day off and the four of you piling into the truck and driving to some random place to spend the day
Saturday Curtis Brother day is the best day of the week :D
(Darry can and will give Dallas the sternest lecture about not hurting you once he realizes the ish going on between you bc that is universe and the one thing that that man wants in the world is for his brothers to be safe)

I Almost Do (Darry Curtis x Reader)
Warnings: angst, sadness.
Summary: Things Just haven’t been the same for Darry since the night that you left.
(a/n: It’s been a while since I wrote anything for the Outsiders. I’ve been very busy recently and haven’t had as much time as I would’ve liked for writing. I’m not going to promise to be better because knowing me, I probably won’t haha. However, feel free to request something. It’ll help me be more motivated.)
—-
Darry sat in his chair in the living room of the Curtis house. It was nearing 1am and his brothers were long in bed. However, no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn’t fall asleep. Every time he closed his eyes, all he saw was you. Your happy face, shining eyes and wide smile that he felt so in love with.
It was times like this, times when the stress of his life caught up with him that he missed you most. You always had a way of making him feel better. Even if it was something as simple as cooking dinner for him and the family or giving him a back rub. It was like you possessed some kind of magic that always had him weak at the knees. Something that made him cling to you as if you were a life raft when he felt like he was drifting further and further away from the shore.
He stared out the window across from where he sat, his eyes gazing over the dimly lit street. It was silent at this time of night, a ghostly mood hanging in the air and lingering in the lonely alleyways of Tulsa. Darry felt the emptiness of the night and the town more then ever now. He felt as if there was a gaping hole in his chest that would not close. A hole that only you could fill.
He let out a hefty sigh. It’s not as though he could talk to anyone about it either. His friends wouldn’t understand and he didn’t want to place this burden on his siblings. However, as the night went on, he imagined you were there, sitting on the couch across from him or on his lap, head resting in the nape of his neck. He imagined you whispering words of reassurance to him, telling him that he was a good brother and a good man and that everything would work out alright in the end.
Of course, I’m that moment, nothing seemed alright. Everything felt confusing. He felt like time had been moving in slow motion ever since you’d left.
His mind wandered back to the last night he saw you. He remembered the way you’d fought, how you’d pleaded with him to open up more, not to carry the burdens of his life on his own. He remembered how he hardened, not liking to express his vulnerability, even to someone he cared so much for. He remember how he’d exploded, yelling at you and eventually telling you to leave. He remembered the tears in your eyes as you packed your things, walking out of his house and his life and slamming the door behind you.
He could tell that all of the boys missed you. You were the most kind and caring person any of them had met and they’d grown to think of you as an older sister. You were always taking care of them in a way that they couldn’t themselves. The house felt empty to all of them now, without your smile and your laughter. They were all mad at Darry, he could see it on their faces. However, none of them were brave enough to bring it up to him, rather resolving to sulking alone and missing you internally.
Of course, Darry missed you the most. And as he sat in the chair, staring out into the dark Tulsa night, he wondered what you were doing now.
—
You sat alone on the musty motel bed. It was late but you couldn’t sleep. You kept having nightmares, or regrets rather, about the life you’d left behind in Tulsa.
Darry had been the love of your life. You were completely perfect for each other. You’d given up everything you had to be with him and on the night he told you to leave, you realised how much you really needed him.
Once you left the Curtis house, you didn’t have anywhere to go. You debated asking Dallas if he could get you a room at Buck’s, however, the idea of potentially running into Darry in the near future seemed far too painful.
Instead, you decided to leave. You decided to escape the town and all reminders of the man you’d once loved. You wanted to start a new life, although it seemed that whenever you found yourself alone, your thoughts would drift back towards him.
You wanted more than anything to let him go and to move on but you just couldn’t find the strength to.
So you sat there, on the uncomfortable motel bed, eyeing the phone that sat on the table across the room.
Your brain jumped back and forth, trying to decide whether not it was a good idea to call him. You’d wanted to call him ever since the night you left almost two weeks ago now. You’d spent hours pacing back and forth, biting your nails and eyeing the phone as if it was a dangerous animal that was preparing to pounce. You’d almost called him so many times but every time you were about to, the fear got in the way. What if he was still mad at you? What if he didn’t want you back?
You looked at the clock. It was late but knowing Darry, he probably wouldn’t be asleep yet.
You found yourself getting up against your will, your feet making their way towards the back of the room. The phone sat there, as if it was tormenting you. You knew his number by heart.
Your hands gently brushed the receiver, yet didn’t take the phone of the hook. You stood there for a moment in the silent room, your mind and heart racing at the sound of hearing his voice once again.
Before you knew it, you felt your fingers punching the numbers into the phone. The waiting was like torture, long and drawn out moments of pain that reminded you of all you were missing. You waited and waited and waited.
The longer you stood there with the phone to your ear, the more that the hopes of him picking up seemed like a distant fantasy. You were just about to give up, about to hang up the phone and go back to sleep, turning on your heel and escaping your old life for good. Then suddenly, deep voice filtered in through the object in your hands.
“Hello? This is Darryl Curtis Speaking.”

“You almost died in that fire!” “Someone had to help!” + Sodapop Curtis
Oooh, an Outsiders request, nice!! Thanks for requesting, enjoy! 🤗
Sodapop Curtis x Gender Neutral Reader
_
Being in the hospital wasn’t pleasant, but at least you were all alive and well. Johnny would recover, and Pony and Dally didn’t get badly hurt. You had no regrets, not having thought twice about chasing after Ponyboy into the church to help save those children. However, you knew the Curtis siblings were on their way and expected a huge lecture from them for putting yourself in danger like that. Dallas had already scolded you to his heart’s content.
“Y/N!” Just as you thought about it, a familiar voice called you in anguish.
You turned to see Sodapop standing there, watching you with tears in his eyes. Although you had been convinced he would be angry, he had only been scared.
“Where’s Pony?” Darry claimed your attention, anxiously asking about his younger brother. Unable to tear your gaze away from Soda, you only pointed to where your friend sat.
Darry hurried in that direction, and he too seemed to restless to be truly angry with any of you. However, Sodapop had always more sensitive, and he sobbed at the sight of you. While his older brother ran to reunite with Ponyboy, your boyfriend stared at you. You had never seen him look so sad and vulnerable.
For the first time, you had regrets for what you did. You wouldn’t change a thing, except for the fact that you had worried them so much. They must have been terrified.
“I’m sorry, Soda” You muttered, running to him and colliding in an urgent embrace. “I’m sorry...”
As he desperately held you tight against him, you continued to apologize. Your voice was shaky and your eyes well up with tears of their own. Meanwhile, Sodapop was sobbing in your shoulder and clinging to you.
“You almost died in that fire!” He uttered, and despite his reprimanding tone his voice was too weak to hold true anger.
“Someone had to help!” You replied in the same tone just as he broke away.
You gazed into each others eyes, and much to your surprise he chuckled a little as he lovingly cupped your cheek. You smiled in relief, knowing that the gesture meant he was proud of you.
“I’m so glad you’re okay...” Soda sighed, exhausted, as he engulfed you in a hug again. And you let him, because you needed his comfort as much as he did.

Word Count: 1206 // Rating: Teen
Summary: Baby tell me what you think about this
Tags/ Warnings: Established Relationship, Heartache, Dead Parents, Canon Character Death, Dreams, Lost Dreams, New Relationships, Wishing, Parenting, Song Fic [x]
Notes: I’m doing 12 days of Songfic’s for Halloween. Not halloween related just a challenge to write everyday [updated 9/22]
12 Days of Songfic Spooktober (Oct 19th - Oct 31st)
Runnin round in this new truck Bank lets me borrow from month to month I’m runnin out of credit, find a little Cash on the radio Standing still they’re blowing past, numbers on cars goin NASCAR fast What I wouldn’t give for a slow down, don’t ya know? Cause where I come from, only the horses run When the day is done, we take it easy
Darry Curtis used to hate living at home. Growing up he had been the eldest and therefore the tester child for all their parent’s rules and regulations that seemed to melt away when his younger siblings came along. He was expected to be the best in school, do the most to help out at home and still keep his job at the gas station to help keep the family afloat. He was allowed to date though he hated bringing girls back home as he had to share a room with his two younger brothers which gave him no privacy.
Though he loved his brothers and his parents he couldn’t wait to escape. He’d worked hard for four years to keep his grades up and maintain his football career to earn him a scholarship. It wasn’t an ivy league college or anything but it was still respectable. He couldn’t wait to move out. His job at the gas station provided enough income that he could give some money to his folks and have some stashed away for moving into his dorm.
Meanwhile back at Mama’s The porch light’s on, come on in if you wanna Supper’s on the stove and beer’s in the fridge Red sun sinkin’ out low on the ridge Games on the tube and Daddy smokes cigarettes Whiskey keeps his whistle wet Funny the things you thought you’d never miss In a world gone crazy as this
Then it happened. His parents went out one night and never came home. They were killed in a car accident by a drunk driver sending the boys into a tailspin. Overnight Darry found himself stuck with a dilemma, leave his family and go to college which would mean the boys became wards of the state or quit his dreams and keep his family together. He would like to say it was a hard decision but it wasn’t really. He’d lost his parents and he loved his brothers too much to leave them. So with a heavy heart, he took over everything.
For the first few months, they survived on some of their parent’s savings whilst Darry ran around to see to odds and ends that he hadn’t fathomed would be a problem. Getting a lawyer to oversee the transference of the house to be legally his was more of a hassle than he had anticipated. After that, he had to search around town for a job. Though his job at the gas station was good he couldn’t get any more hours and his parent’s savings wouldn’t last forever so he was forced to leave and get a job as a roofer. Though he could bring in enough money it meant he was home less. This meant that life became work and sleep and his eye was off the ball ‘parenting’ wise. Sodapop dropped out of school and took up his old gas station job against his wishes.
He struggled. He was trying to keep Ponyboy on the straight and narrow whilst pinning down a job and corralling Sodapop into some sort of line. This was also a challenge because with Sodapop came a raft of waifs and strays who seemed to adopt their house as their own. Even with fewer people living there it was still jammed packed every day meaning that the only solace Darry got usually was in his own room, formally that of his parents. And bringing girls back was also a no-go. He didn’t want to promote a promiscuous lifestyle to the boys but he also didn’t want girls to think he was trying to make a new family.
Well I found a girl and we don’t fit in here Talk about how hard it is to breathe here Even with the windows down can’t catch a southern breeze here One of these days gonna pack it up and leave here
Then along came Y/N. She was a whirlwind who came into his life without warning. She was a cousin of Dally’s in town for the summer. She was a year or two younger than him but she seemed to be the maturest of the bunch and took to him like a duck to water. Whilst the boys played games in the living room she seemed to favour hanging out in the dining area/kitchen with him. She started coming over at night. Then earlier to have dinner. Then she ended up cooking dinner for the whole troop much to Darry’s delight as he hated having to cook each night. She had dropped out of school, not having much interest in it, and had been sent to stay with her aunt who was trying to convince her to go to college. Whilst in town she got a job as a waitress and when Darry had a day off the two of them would head into town to a bar or to a movie giving them both a rest from the boys. Over the course of the summer they had come to realise how much they meant to one another and when the time was approaching for her to head home Darry knew he couldn’t let her go. Without thinking he blurted out at dinner one night how she could stay with them until she found a place in town if she didn’t want to go home.
Oh I miss yeah a little dirt on the road, I miss corn growing in a row I miss being somebody everybody knows, there everybody knows everybody I miss those small-town routes, walkin around in muddy boots The sound of rain on an old tin roof It’s time we head on back
She never left. The two fell into a comfortable relationship which turned intimate just after that Christmas and Darry felt a little more comfortable with his decision not to go into the big wide world. They still had the occasional itch. When Sodapop moved out and Ponyboy went to college Darry became wistful for the things he could have done if tragedy hadn’t struck him so young. But then he’d look at Y/N. Sitting in the cab of his truck singing to the radio or sitting on the front porch drinking sweet tea and he’d rethink it.
They were happy. Though their routines were going to work, having dinner and sleeping they didn’t mind. It was mundane but it was enough.
Cause meanwhile back at Mama’s The for-sale signs goin up and I’m gonna Dump this truck and the little I got On a loan to own and a three-acre lot Put supper on the stove and beer in the fridge Goin’ for broke and we’re gonna be rich Watch the sun setting on the ridge
Baby tell me what you think about this Me and you back at Mama’s Yeah me and you back at Mama’s

Sweet! Can I request a kinda angsty darry x reader imagine where they were high school sweethearts, but broke up when she went away for school, and they’ve just run into each other and reminisce about the past & what could’ve been
sorry this took so long!
this is going to be written from Darry’s point of view and as if the reader is female for the sake of pronouns, but feel free to change the pronouns if you are not female.
***
The rest of the guys on my roofing team were finishing up for the day and packing things up on the ground. I was on the roof hammering in the last few nails and collecting the straggling tools that the guys forgot. As i picked up the last hammer I turned around I saw the sunset. It took me aback for a second. Everybody thought that Pony was the only one who loved the pretty things in life, but I did too, or at least I did at one point. I rarely had time to stop and admire things such as this. When you have the weight of the world on your shoulders, you have to be practical in your dealing with that weight. Sunsets and pretty things were not practical. I took one last look at the sunset and one last deep breath of the golden air and climbed down the ladder, putting it … and her out of my mind.
I managed to keep her out of my mind for a little bit, until I got into my truck and started to drive off. I got another glimpse of the sunset as I started my commute from the rich part of town home. Seeing the sunset reminded me of my high school sweetheart. It reminded me of the glow within her soul, the way her warm glowing soul oozes out of her eyes and her warm smile. It reminded me of how she used to force me to sit and watch sunsets on the beech when we first started dating and how, although I grumbled about it in order to protect my image of being a tuff football jock, I secretly loved it. I didn’t quite understand why she and Pony loved sunsets so much, but I loved her and the way she brightened up a room, so I suppose she loved sunsets for the same reason. I also loved the way she could connect with Pony over these things. He was still a kid at the time, but she had a way with him. As my brothers were everything to me, it was great that she was so good with them, that she could connect with Pony in a way I couldn’t. If only she was still part of my life… but she went to University and I had to take care of my brothers and I wasn’t going to burden her with that.
I noticed a pizzeria as I was driving down the road and decided to pull in and get a coupleof pizza for the guys. I normally couldn’t afford treats like this all the time, but I had worked on a couple of nice houses for rich people the past couple of weeks and they had all paid top price. I decided to surprise them and try and make them a little happy with something small. I ordered 4 pizzas because I knew that the guys would be over and devour the food. They told me it would be a little bit of a wait for so many pizzas and told me to wait. I went to sit outside to see the last little bit of the sunset and try and see a few stars before the pizzas were ready.
I hadn’t been sitting there long when a familiar voice “Darry? … Darry Curtis is that you?”
I turned around and there she was, the light of my life glowing just as she always had brightening up the area even at twilight. “Y/N … is that really you? What are you doing here? I thought you were at school?”
Y/N “I’m home for the summer, staying with my parents. I came to get a pizza for dinner for us”
“Oh” I said smartly “so how are you liking it?”
“Its good. I enjoy learning everything I can, but you already knew that” she said with a sweet little smile as she came to sit on the bench next to me. “How have you been doing? How are Pony and Soda? Is Pony still dreaming?”
“Oh ya.” I said with a little eye roll “Pony never stops dreaming. I wish I could get his head out of the clouds and on more practical things. I’ve been working hard to keep the three of us together but Soda has dropped out of high school and started working at the DX. Pony is the only one with potential to complete what Soda and I could not. But Pony won’t stop dreaming and reading and watching movies and he gets along with Soda so much better than me lately and he tries a little less since Soda has dropped out. I don’t want the government thinking that I can’t get my brothers through school or offer them a future… But for the most part the three of us have been as well as I could” I said trailing out at the end. I had forgotten how easy it was to talk to her. We had always connected so easily. “I’m sorry for talking so much. You probably didn’t want to know all that”
“No, but I do” she said sweetly, touching my arm, “I have always loved your family. I want to know everything about your family. Your parents were always so good to me and I used to love talking and playing with your brothers.”
“You were always so good with them” I said with a little laugh, “I remember you managed to convince Pony for a long time that fairies were real and that they’d only come out if he stayed absolutely still at dusk. For the longest time he thought lightning bugs were fairies.”
“Oh I remember that!” She said with her bubbly laugh, “I had so much fun telling him those stories. He had such great imagination and you shouldn’t stop his dreaming. He could go far with it. Just because you don’t understand it doesn’t mean that its wrong or bad. He’ll do find in school. He’s 14. Everyone goes through funny phases at that age. If I remember correctly you were quite cocky at 14, pretending you were the best football player in the USA.”
“Well I was and still am!” I said with a cocky little smile and wiggling my eyebrows, with her gigging as I did. “Oh I’ve missed making you laugh. It’s been so long since I’ve heard something so beautiful” I couldn’t help myself. Words just started bubbling out of me as memories filled my mind of all the wonderful times we spent together. “You know I wish we hadn’t had to break up. I didn’t want to pull you into my troubles or hold you back from what you could have been…but you were so much better with Pony than I am and I will ever be. I don’t know how to get him through this stage in life. But I know you would have known.”
“Darry its hard to parent your siblings. You’re doing your best, and I know your best is better than many other men’s. To be honest that’s why I feel in love with you. You are so much better than other men and I’ve missed being part of your life. Although I am glad to get a chance to learn, I want to help you with your burdens… many hands make light work… and to be honest I always imagined I’d be part of your family one day…” she said trailing off and looking down and blushing.
We sat in silence for a few seconds as I absorbed what she said. I couldn’t imagine what she was saying. That she still wanted to be part of my family despite what I had been through. Then I decided to be selfish and unpractical and enjoy the sunset, “Would you and your parents like to come over tonight for some pizza. I got lots”
“We would be delighted.” She said sweetly.
