Top 3 Broadway Actors or Actresses? 

So I decided to just do my top 3 of each because I simply cannot pick only 3. 

Top 3 Actors: 1) Raul Esparza, actual ray of sunshine that illuminates my world. He’s so obscenely talented I have never heard him not give his 100% in a performance. And he’s so open with his heritage and how being “white passing” has influenced his identity as a performer. As a performer I have similar issues, plus hes such a dork I love him so much.. 2) Nathan Lane, The Producers was (and still is) one of my first broadway obsessions and I’d still kill to see it live. No other man could play Max other than Lane. He’s so diverse and magnetic on the stage I’d openly sob if I got to meet him. 3) Aaron Tveit, my original broadway crush...I still dream of doing Next To Normal with him and I cannot wait to see him in Company as Robert Darling. He’s been in a handful of my favorite shows, how can I not include him? (let it be known Alan Cumming is a very close tie)

Top 3 Actresses: 1) Phillipa Soo, yes she was incredible in Hamilton but she really earned my love with her role in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. She hasn’t been in much but from those 2 shows alone I am in love. 2) Lea Salonga, as a fellow Filipino she’s kinda obligatory lol. But my personal biases aside she has been in so many incredible shows (Les Mis, Into the Woods, Miss Saigon, Fun Home, Cinderella, Allegiance, and soon Once on this Island!) I’m geeking out just thinking about it. You gotta love Asian Diva’s and I hope to one day be half the actress she is. 3) Kristin Chenoweth, I know that answer is super basic but her energy is just so large. And she has such a diverse vocal range which surprises you when you just look at her. She just seems so fun and engaging lol

What would you say if you met your Broadway fave?

 Jesus...I can dream that I would tell Mr. Esparza how inspired I am by his passion and how wonderful it is to see fellow POC performers struggle with their identity. But knowing how much of a dork I am I would probably keep muttering “Yes counselor” or some awful cannibal pun to myself...and I’d pray he’d forgive me. 

What non-Broadway singer/actor would you love to see in a Broadway show, and which role would you like them to play?

If you would have asked me this a few months ago I would have answered Brendon Urie without hesitation but that beautiful man is now in Kinky Boots...so fuck me. Florence Welch...I’m unsure which show to put her in but I’d kill to see her in an actual production. So if anyone has any ideas let me know!
