okay so I know I need to lock in and finish my fic(s) like a responsible adult™… but I want to write Rujinu so badly it physically hurts. so many ideas, so little actual writing time 😭

Does anyone know of any good K-pop demon hunter fics where Jinu comes back through Rumi’s new blade and just… haunts her?? And then they team up to recruit the stray demons still stuck on this side after the honmoon, organize a little supernatural support group so they can integrate without eating people, and dramatically slay the nasty ones? Bonus points if the other boys somehow come back too.

I know this is criminally specific, but this has been living rent-free in my brain for a month. I am manifesting, praying, sacrificing my last three brain cells in the hope that some benevolent writer will pick this up so I don’t have to… because I have SEVEN WIPs already ☠️

i just started re reading divine ruination, and it made me wish i could read it for the first time ever again😫 separately, i love the fluffy / layed back tone the story currently has now, but i was wondering if you have a rough estimate of how many chapters there are until things start going downhill for spices again, because the way you've written that in the past was tewww good.

Thank you!! I’m so glad you’re still hanging on 😭 When I said “we’re almost there,” I meant it. Only about 4–5 chapters left before we wrap this up. The original plan was 50 chapters total, but I haven’t put that number on AO3 yet since it’s still not fully set.

At the risk of sounding completely unhinged, for the first draft, I write everything in one endless Google Doc and then chop it into chapters wherever it feels right during edits. So instead of planning like a normal person, I just… vibe. That’s why some chapters end up at 5k words and others balloon to 10k ☠️

Anyway, we’re on the last leg of the journey, and the finish line’s in sight. Buckle up! Sukuna’s on his way.

Have you ever wondered what Spices with Teen Gojo would be like, not sure how it happen but maybe through some sort of time travel shenanigans

Oooh, that AU is dangerously tempting 👀 But no, I have sworn not to create any new fics until I’ve finished my ongoing ones. (The WIPs have eyes.)

That said, I’ve definitely been daydreaming about it. If Spices landed in the previous-gen era, I imagine Geto would be the first to step in and look out for her (assuming they were in the same year).

Back then, Gojo wasn’t really into protecting “weak” people. That’s something Geto taught him, and the lesson stuck even after everything fell apart between them. At first, Gojo would find it so annoying to babysit her on training and missions... until he realized she was basically an all-access pass to the most ridiculous, high-risk fun of his life. This is Spices we’re talking about. She’d win him over with her harebrained schemes in no time.

Think Spices and Yuuta in the main timeline, but instead of damage control, Gojo’s the one holding the matches and gasoline, making bad decisions with her. They’d be unstoppable. Yaga wouldn’t stand a chance. Somewhere down the line, as Gojo matured and learned empathy, he’d realize strength comes in all shapes and sizes… and that Spices might just be stronger than anyone when she sets her mind to it.

It’s entirely possible Spices could change the whole trajectory of Geto’s villain arc. Maybe she’d catch him during his spiral and keep him from tipping over the edge. Maybe he wouldn’t abandon her at all, choosing instead to stay and try to fix the system with her.

Or… maybe he’d just take her with him.

Now, Spices wouldn’t be on board with his genocide plan, but she’d also know he’d be too dangerous to run wild alone, and she’d remember he had her back first. So she’d stick with him through his crisis. Let’s be honest, she’d crush the cult game. With her flair for branding, Geto’s cult might veer completely off-course from the whole mass-murder agenda and into something wildly absurd.

And then, picture this: Gojo comes back from a mission only to hear from Yaga that Geto’s gone rogue, committed mass murder… and kidnapped Spices.

The way Gojo, absolutely feral now, would teleport out of there to track him down... 👀

I love love love the way you write Yuta and Spices together I think they're so cute, Yuta's little (fat) crush on Spices and the way he cares for Spices along with their relationship/dynamic is always so nice to read!

Ahhh thank you!! I'm thrilled I finally get to dump my Spices & Yuta lore here even in the middle of angst because in the prequel, they barely had any space.

Buckle up, extra lore incoming 🎉

Once Spices had Yuta to haul her out of trouble, she started poking around with really, really dangerous stuff.

She convinced Yuta to follow her into supposedly haunted sites for research, except she's actually baiting cursed spirits to study them up close. Yuta ended up exorcising them while she took frantic notes.

There's still a crater in one training field from when Spices tested a cursed artifact with Yuta's help. Gojo calls it a "swimming pool in progress."

Yuta developed a sixth sense for when Spices was up to something, but he still got dragged along anyway.

Yuta got lowkey offended if someone else tried to bodyguard Spices. That's his job.

They had a bail each other out system: she handled people trouble, he handled physical danger.

Yaga had a special "Spices & Yuta" section in the school repair budget. It's the largest line item.

The school staff had a running "DO NOT LET THESE TWO" list of restricted areas, with their photos pinned next to it.

Yuta always tries to take the blame, Spices always pretends she has absolutely no idea what that was about, and Gojo always waves them both off while pulling out his black card.

Every time Gojo pays a bill, Spices promises to "behave" and Yuta promises "it won't happen again." Neither of them meant it.

"Put It On Gojo's Tab" - Local repair crews knew Gojo's name by heart. The moment they heard who caused the damage, the price mysteriously doubled.

"If I'm paying for it, you're at least signing the card." – Gojo, handing Spices a bill for 3 million yen in repairs.

He bribed a Kyoto sorcerer to "admit" to starting a fight so Yuta & Spices wouldn't get in trouble.

Whenever the higher-ups got heated and demanded answers, Gojo said, "Yep, that was me!" even if he had nothing to do with it. His logic: They can't execute him. He is the executioner.

Some lessons had to be taught the hard way. Again and again and again, until you finally learned to stay. Because no one else would ever love you the way he could. His monstrous heart was the only one that would beat for you without conditions or limits.

And really, what kind of love didn’t leave scars?

“Mine,” he growled against your skin, the word more threat than endearment, a claim staked in flesh and breath. “You’re mine, understand? Mine to fuck, mine to protect, mine to kill if I so choose.”

One moment, you wanted to ride him. The next, you imagined the satisfying slide of a blade across his throat, wondering if the King of Curses could bleed like mere mortals. Sometimes, disturbingly, you wanted to do both at once.

Recently read Peace was never an option and it’s so good you’re an absolute genius. Will Foxie ever meet Gojos students at any point because I already have a mental image of his students just following her around like ducklings when they learn she can put Gojo on his butt. Also I totally see Foxie doting on Yuji the most due to who he’s related to. As well as Yuta because he’s the goodest of boys and the least annoying of the Sugawara descendants. Am also lowkey, but also high key want Foxie to also have a crush on Nanami, so we get jealous Gojo hehe!

And yes! Foxie would spoil Yuji rotten, even if it hurts every time she looks at him because of how much he resembles a certain someone. Yuta? Finally, a Sugawara she doesn't want to punch through a wall. A miracle, really.
