My unfiltered thoughts on Jurassic World: Dominion.

**(spoilers!!!)**

DOMINION HAS A LOT OF BUGS. LIKE A LOT OF THEM. I WONT BE DISCUSSING THEM HERE, BUT IF YOU ARE GOING TO WATCH THE FILM, KEEP IT IN MIND.

I feel like saying that I went into this film expecting a pile of dogshit and some dinosaurs, my expectations were VERY low, and that may have swayed my opinion. As probably did my favourite dinosaurs and co being in it. I left the cinema like 2 hours ago and did not plan this. this has been your disclaimer.

First of all, Chris Pratt is never a positive to this series. The first two Jurassic World movies were... a little disappointing to say the least. The first one was ok, introduced some interesting concepts, but was mostly ruined by the writing, cast, and general attempt to make dinosaurs equate to pets? The second follows through with this, making Blue a softie (which thankfully they seem to have reversed in Dominion), and being insufferably boring in my opinion. And though I dont particularly like Owen or Claire in any of the films, the (very welcome) addition of Ian Malcolm adds a lot to their dynamic. Having Owen outrun 3 Atrociraptors on a motorbike for like, 10 minutes, catch up to a plane, and get in while the plane is taking off is stupid, and ridiculous, but I couldnt bring myself to be upset about it. Every stretch of the imagination being accompanied by Malcolm's almost deadpan assessment of each scene is refreshing. Ian Malcolm as usual is the highlight of the film, but he really made me laugh a lot in this one. Thanks Goldblum.

A couple more negatives: It feels at points as if they're REALLY trying to stuff you with as much unfo as they can instead of showing it; the kid is annoying - nothing wrong with her personally, her british accent is just very offputting and pronounced. it makes some of her lines stiff at times (see "Eyes on me"). It was also more apparent in this film than any other that the characters had plot armour made of reinforced steel, but its quite fun to laugh at at times. Think Claire outrunning Rexie while IN HEELS in Jurassic World. This film is Nostalgia bait, its not hard to tell- its fairly similar in plot points and shots such as:

- Characters such as Grant, Sattler and Wu

- Brachiosaur (even tho its not the same one from the first film bc shes dead)

- Rexie, but shes in every one

- villain is killed by Dilos

- Throwback to the Malcolm Flare scene

Onto the dinosaurs (+Quetza)

The designs aren't all that accurate, but thats not what I'm really judging them on here. I was pleasantly surprised with the Dinosaurs in this film. To name a few, this film features: Atrociraptor, Pyroraptor, Compsognathus (background), Giganotosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Ankylosaurus (background), Dryosaur (i THINK?), Carnotaurus, Quetzalcoatlus (a pterasaur but Im including it), Therazinosaurus (my beloved <3) even if for a short amount of time, it was so nice to see these dinosaurs in the film. I feel as if Giga was underused, and it was also introduced as the "Biggest terrestrial carnovaur ever" which it wasn't, Spino's bigger, but the design was cool and different enough from Rexie that it was easy to tell who was who. Thera being a part of the main fight was not expected but i loved it :D

The supporting cast are mostly likeable, even though Blue's baby is clapped and has a terrible name. The humour was fairly good, the dinosaurs looked pretty good (except for the babies), no complaints there.

A lot of scenes were dramatised in ways that were really entertaining. I found myself laughing at Chris Pratt a lot (which i enjoy doing), especially when he does the raptor hand thing? they also talk a lot to dinosaurs in this movie and they seem to understand pretty well but its funny so who cares i guess. The plane scene was so stupid and dramatic i couldnt help but love it. The raptors conveniently taking like 10 minutes to get up after falling over. Chris Pratt carrying Beta on his shoulser like a pomeranian in a handbag, him somehow being able to singlehandedly wrestle a fully grown and abled Para with only a piece of rope and then touching its nose How To Train Your Dragon style-ing it into compliance. The Giganotosaurus LITERALLY BREATHING FIRE THAT ONE TIME. Although, for how cliché this film is, I have to give it credit for having Ian Malcolm in a large portion and not ONCE uttering the "Life finds a way" line. impressive.

I think the way they dealt with the dinosaurs being in the wild now was realistic enough, although sticking every land dinosaur in a nature reserve was lazy, considering the status quo of "Dinos deserve to coexist with us in the wild!!!" but Jurassic World: Dominion comes from a long line of films that are Lazy Cashgrabs about Lazy cashgrabs, and i don't know what else they could have done without feeling as if they hadn't accomplished anything.

Given the hand that they were dealt, they did well. Jurassic World: Dominion is definitely worth watching in my opinion, going into it expecting it to be more so dramatic that its funny and not a masterpiece. I am however upset Owen didnt try the crouchy-Raptor-hand-thing on the Giga </3

I'd like to ask some questions. do your bitties have any ranking system? would they do well with Alphatale bitties? how are bitty babies made from your shop? can your bitties get along well with bitties from other shops? I saw mod wolf answered an ask on how they headcanon 'nornal' bitties, Idk about Mod Tem but do you two plan to make 'normal' bitties for your shop? if not I vote for more Dinos!

1: Do our bitties have a ranking system? Honestly depends, they mainly rank themselves the way a human or monster would, and with respect, owner is the highest, and then either who is the oldest(or has been there the longest), who their owner puts in charge, or who is the most respected,

2: how do they get along with Alphatale bitties? It works the same as Alphatale bitties do with every other bitty that isnt Alphatale, they are ranked based on sent and mannerisms, which vary,

(No.3 and below will be under a read more as you my friend, asked yourself a very short question with a very long answer)

3: How are babies born? If you are asking how new bitties of the same type are made it is with ambient magic, we dont know where it came from or when it showed up, but whenever we are 'getting low' on a bitty type more eggs/lambs/kids(whatever the youngest version in for the bitty type that isnt in the womb or somthing) materialize in the nursry, Its why it was build there, why else would the nursry be in the basment?

But if you are talking about how 'hybrid'(for lack of a better term) bitties are made, then there are three ways, the way humans prefer, and the way monsters prefer(some can only do one or the other but so far, Lamias, Satyrs, and Spinos can all three), and a way where magic is inserted, 

We are let to assume you know how humans procreate so we will talk about how Monsters have children:

Monsters create kids with magic(surprising, right?), all they need is another monster(or more then one) to do so if they choose too(some can do so with more human souls, but not all), genders, type, nor age(After the age of sexual maturity aka age of consent) does not matter, once the small soul/s if formed it stays within then carriers soul until it can sustain itself and is moved into the abdomen where then it can form its body(for live birth) or for a magical shell where it can stay within the incubate longer(for hatchlings)  

And the last way for baby bitties to be formed is through insertion, there are two ways/reasons this may be done:

With way/reason one, if a bitty cannot form enough magic to do way 2 and way 1 isnt an option or isnt strong enough(as with Monsters the carrier has to sustain the small soul/s by themselves with way one)They may do insertion, through the act of ejaculation the sire will insert their magic into the carrier,

And with way/reason two, is very similar(but may require a tool for bitties that lack a phallus) in the way that magic is inserted into one of the bitties, but typically the Sire if they have more/stronger magic, it can be done to help with stress(being low on magic isnt healthy) and/or to save their life(get to low on magic and they can dust/die), the small soul/s will be passed from carrier to sire(or to another carrier) and they will continue to hold the small soul/s until they can be born/layed

And the uncommon 3rd way of insertion is when a Monster type bitty(that cannot preform way one) and a Human type bitty, will use their magic and what they can form from the human type bitty(they still have some magic after all) and will form the soul themselves, they can choose to insert the soul into the human bitty type(if they both choose to have the human bitty type be the carrier) or they can choose to carry the small soul/s themselves, this can work with two monster type bitties as well but that is even more rare, but not unheard of.

4: Do out bitties get along with bitties from other shops? Yep, as long as their personalities go well together then they will get along

5: D we plan to add a ‘normal’ bitty type to out blog? Not at the moment, we might in the future but that is not one of the bitty types we are working on, but for the time being the answer is no.

What do I post: this blog is exclusively SWTOR (and KOTOR) related stuff, anything from awesome art, writing and headcanons from mutuals, to my own art, screencaps from my and mutuals’ gameplay, to my own fics, headcanons and stuff. My other blog is for “canon” Star Wars, general fandom/gaming stuff etc. Very occasionally I might post non-swtor posts like this one here if I feel it “belongs” in the “get to know elven” tag

Dream job: I would’ve loved to have done either Riding Groom/Jockey (which I might have managed 6 or so years back but uhhh, I can’t handle the physical strain anymore, thanks granny joints!) or Animal Assisted Therapy, but there’s no way I can cope with managing my own business, it’s too much for me qwq A lot of things are Too Much For Me, unfortunately. I will take working checkout at a grocery store at the rate I’m going now tbh.

Dream trip: 1) to visit the gf in Germany and see the Christmas Markets there, and also 2) to go to New Zealand and visit the Hobbit/LotR sets and see all the wildlife :’D

The Baryonyx!

I don’t really know why but something about this Theropod (Two-legged, meat eater) fascinates me! And if you didn’t notice, he looks a little similar to a certain dino that we all know and love, that’s right. The Spinosaurus!! That is because they both belong to the Spinosauridae (Spined reptile) family along with many other similar lads.

(In order from left to right - Spinosaurus, Suchomimus, Baryonyx, Ichthyovenator and Irritator) Fun fact! the “Irritator” was named that way because the first fossil that was discovered for it - the skull - had been purchased from some people who reshaped the fossil with plaster and because of it, a Paleontologist had to carefully go in and restore the skull to it’s original form. I think you can imagine why he named it that PFFT Here’s some facts about the Bary!: - Baryonyx means “heavy claw” and it was named this because of the large claws it used to catch it’s prey, plus the first found fossil for the Baryonyx was a claw! - Despite there being a few missing pieces from the fossil’s skull, the Baryonyx has the most complete holotype specimen out of all the Spinosauridae. - Like most Spinosauridae, Baryonyx’s diet mostly consisted of fish but it was also an opportunistic scavenger! In fact, a discovery of fish scales found in a Baryonyx’s stomach is what gave Paleontologist’s the idea that Spinosauridae ate fish. - Lastly, due to an earlier discovery of an unknown Spinosauridae tooth known as the “Suchosaurus” Paleontologist’s believe that it could be that of a Baryonyx’s and if this is proven, the Baryonyx would be renamed since Suchosaurus was the first chosen name. (This is why the Brontosaurus is no longer considered a dinosaur, because it is now called the Apatosaurus!) And here’s one last fun fact! The Spinosaurus is the largest theropod, it is indeed much larger than a T-Rex. However, it would still most likely lose to one as their jaws weren’t built to bite down on such large prey. But, thankfully (for the Spino) they would’ve never fought each other as they both lived during different eras anyways!

(Hi, I'm a bit shy so is it okay if I ask for a bitty matchup on anon?)

I'm 20 and a female I have never had a bitty before so this will be my first one!

I'm a bit of an anxious person and don't like being around crowds of people so I mainly stay home unless I'm at work. I really love cooking for people and watching them eat my food! Music is constantly playing in my house or movies as a background sound because I don't like pure silence.

Ummm, I'm learning how to knit so that I can make a blanket. I don't really know what else to say?

And Lamias or Spinos seem to be the best? I'm going to do 3 of each(6 in total) to cover my bases ^^

These are in no particular order btw, but they all are beginner difficulty levels, as this is your first,

Lamias: noodle bois, not many type requirements, but tend to prefer to stay home,

Red viper: they are a good match just from how diverse they are, they have so many different hobbies and like to learn/do them with their owners!(even if their sometimes ornery about it) they prefer to be cooked for and would love to eat whatever you made, (underfell sans)

Mangrove pit viper: these cheeky noodles would love if you cooked for them, and are very laid back, they also would love to learn how to knit with you, almost always prefering a hobby you can sit down and enjoy, they can help fill the silence with jokes and just plain enjoyable conversations when needed/wanted,(swapfell gaster)

Tree python: they are a good match as well as they are very laid back and love jokes, they also would love to be cooked for, they do need time to get used to you, and your house, and do need to be wared about new bitties, and the new bitties might need to be told that they need to give him space(depends on the bitty), and they also need space to himself, it doesn’t have to be big as long as he knows that no one will mess with his stuff there, but they also don’t like large crowds and will know where your coming from and enjoys hobbies that you can sit in one place and do,(underswap papyrus)

Spinos: Spinosaurus bitties, they all need water, some more then others, mini and fullsized recommended unless you have a very large body of water nearby, tends to enjoy seafood more then other kinds,

Tide: they are more laidback and tolerant then other Spinos, they don’t need as much area to swim and prefer to float, but do enjoy a larger area to swim, they do enjoy learning and would love to learn how to knit with you, and also enjoy being cooked for,(undertale gaster)

Puddle: these are the most social of the Spinos, and enjoys other bitties to play with but isnt a requirement, they do need to play/exercise a lot and need many different toys to choose from, they love to help cook and be cooked for, and would love to eat what you cool, only problem with kniting is he might see the yarn ball as a toy ^^(undersswap sans)

Brackish: they are very laidback, and don’t like crowds, they also would love to be cooked for, they would love to help you wherever they can, they do enjoy watching you do what you enjoy, and might try to pick it up as a hobby of their own, they don’t need to swim as often as other Spinos and can be content with lazing in a puddle after in rains(even if their to big for it),(horrorswap papyrus)

Notes: horror Satyrs might work, but without you or another bitty with them they can get very upset, they just cant be completely alone,
