How did Hazelnut die?
During a trip to gather herbs at the border of one of the other clans. A landslide happened and she got crushed by a boulder. Silent blames Starclan for not protecting her and mostly himself for not going with her.
Since she died technically in the other territory, it now belongs to neither clan, so Silent can go visit the grave he made for her.

Professor!Hoshina thoughts.
Like I instinctually think he’d be an English teacher who does higher level courses specializing in Japanese literature and poetry. The kind where the class size is like 20 people or less.
On the other hand, I can also see him teaching gen ed literature for entering freshmen and just being a super chill guy. He’d be all “I get that the majority of you don’t want to be here, but you gotta so let’s get through this together.”
Regardless of type of course, I think Hoshina would know exactly how to motivate (oo la la~ lol) his students. He understands people have lives outside of his classroom. He’s attentive during one-on-one conferences, and has great office hours. General student consensus is that he’s strict, but fair.
Also glasses. Like reading glasses. He doesn’t wear them while teaching, but he does in his office for grading and doing computer work. Idk if this is what you’re looking for l, but yeah
if i could make out with this ask, i would have 🥹 this is a bit long so buckle up.
quick trivia that i am an english major; that's why i mentioned in my post before that i am biased on making vice-captain hoshina an english professor if i am going to write a fic where he is a teacher. it just fits his character, i would agree. it's also canon that he reads poetry so there's that too. personally i agree that he would be someone who teaches something esoteric as this parallels his role in the manga/anime. might be slightly off-tangent but this assumption of mine relates to how hoshina is portrayed as someone who is stubborn and proud. it was clear in the beginning that his own father thought that use of blades is already obsolete, but what did hoshina do? he persevered, earning a spot beside the highest ranking official in the third division. i would say something similar would happen when hoshina decided to go down his own path of being a professor - he comes from a well-off clan, i suppose he can choose any other profession if he wants to, but he stands by his decision to be a part of the academe anyway.
now off to the good stuff. NSFW AFTER THE CUT, MINORS DO NOT INTERACT.
hoshina is strict within the four corners of the classroom because he values his principles and his reputation. he can be friends with a few of his students outside school but during class hours, he carries himself as serious and businesslike. which is why i arrived at two scenarios if we are going to discuss anything nsfw involving professor!hoshina:
professor!hoshina x student!reader has a very slim chance of happening but you will be able to make it happen because hoshina sees himself at you. of course you being hot and attractive also helps out your case, but what takes the cake is that you aren't scared to speak your thoughts and fight for them. i can imagine a classroom setup, a heated argument about a required reading, and you find yourself on the opposite side of the discussion from hoshina. usually a student would be afraid to disagree with a professor's opinion, but not you and that gets his attention. having learned that you are in his class not because you ran out of elective program to enrol to but because you actually like the specialised course, i see hoshina getting impressed at how much you respect his field of expertise. the thing is i don't believe he would proactively initiate a sexual relationship with one of his students, but one after-class consultation leads to another, and the farthest he is willing to go with you is... sexting. he is already gambling with his life here, but he thinks this is the safest the both of you can go where losses will not be much. you don't send him nudes right away because you know him better than that - the pictures you send him are just enough to provoke something inside him: a shot of you wearing a black lace bra that barely covered your nipples, or a skimpy skirt that showcases your ass. his response would be him telling you in explicit detail what he would like to do to you once you are not his student anymore. when you got your clearance to graduate, he celebrated by asking you to sit on his desk, commanding you to show him your pussy and finger yourself for him as he jerks off his cock in front of you, watching. he will most definitely fuck you on top of the desk after, and to hell with the papers and documents atop his table, he won't stop his thrusts until he gets to cum inside you for the first time.
professor!hoshina x colleague!reader where hoshina is rightfully hesitant on starting anything at all because he thinks workplace affairs are tacky and impractical. but you make him laugh, and you are not bad at your job too (he's interested at the fact your students are fond of you despite the fact that your program has such a high rate of failing students). he commiserates with you on the struggle of being an effective class facilitator and he is surprised at how you and him have so much in common - you are both into poetry but hates superficial verbiage, you and him believe that a professor's role is not only to teach, but to make sure that students are learning - sometimes those two can be different things - and that although you prefer less sugar, you and hoshina are into coffee. when the literature department spent a friday night drinking at the local bar, you were stuck in the streets during the late hour, and hoshina being a gentleman, offered to take you home. which he did - take you home, just with the worst intentions. maybe it's the alcohol that made him cockier than usual, or maybe it was him catching a glimpse of you undressing so you can change into a more comfortable blouse, but he took the leap of kissing you first, shoving his tongue in your throat, his palm roaming on your chest. let's just say that you were lucky it was the weekend the morning after, because it would have been embarrassing to be walking funny in campus.
... i feel like i yapped too much, so im gonna stop now lol. if you have more thoughts, my inbox is always open. :)
EDIT: just an addition because i think i missed the last part of your ask - YES, GLASSES ON PROFESSOR!HOSHINA. i already came up with a scene where you took his eyeglasses off because you already wanna eat his face and he's like "you know i can't see you that well without my glasses right", and your response will be "that's fine, i can take the lead". my brain is melting with all the ideas, someone help me 😩😩😩

Okay wow I was not expecting my kittypet fae post to take off overnight like this, but I'm glad you all like it! I've been thinking about kittypet culture so this is what I think is the reasoning behind the beliefs.
Kittypets are often well groomed and well fed no matter the season, while wild cats are often groomed there's a softness to kittypet pelts that you don't find in wild pelts. Along with pretty accessories that a wild cat would have no clue what they are like bows. As such they start to seem a bit uncanny valley because they look like you but not Quite. Especially because of more purebred cats who have brighter pelts or unusual colors or strange muzzles or weird ears. Which helps spread the thought that kittypets aren't fully cats, but something similar, something different but the same. Firestar as a purebred orange cat is just a lot naturally brighter or vivid then the more muted oranges that appear in the wild, and that scares cats.
Kittypets also like to share with their wild friends, they see their friend skinny and cold and want to bring them inside where they can get food and get warm. So they tend to offer it pretty often, however cats that do this start to get used to the ease of food and warmth of the den and find it harder to stay wild or to stay away from twolegs. Some kittypets may even aid twolegs in trapping their friends for the sake of protecting their friends from the harsh outdoors. Which everyone knows once you've bonded with a twoleg whether you want to or not your transformation into one of them is nearly complete.
Kittypet food is also meant to fill a cat as its been fine-tuned to fit the needs of a cat so even if a cat doesn't think it tastes as good as mouse, it still fills them in ways they may struggle to get with hunting. So cats that risk taking a bit start to go back for more, especially in harder hunting series. Sure sparrow may be a bit tastier but if its a sparrow once a week during leafbare or kittypet food every day, cats are going to be tempted.
With kittypets not being in a war culture and often just chilling beyond mild spats means there's more room for other activities like a lot more gossip and stories, news travels fast between cats because kittypets are horrendous gossips which means if you fuck over a kittypet, every other kittypet is going to hear about it and shame you for it. To clan cats it's shocking because kittypet news travels throughout an entire twolegplace and even beyond it thanks to some kittypets that travel in like trucks and stuff, so it can seem like despite being nowhere near the original kittypet, everyone still magically knows how you messed up. This extends to their friends as well, if you beat up a cat that the kittypets consider a friend over a border dispute all the kittypets are going to be like "hey why'd you do that that was mean" and potentially chase you away.
Now for names is something I think is interesting because kittypets are never really like "my names Mouse but the twolegs call me Mittens" so clearly twoleg names have some priority here for kittypets, while the significance of this can very between whatever you want really, its clearly important. So if you get taken in by a twoleg to heal a wound and the twoleg starts calling you Pants, then suddenly all the kittypets call you by that name. No matter how much you insist your name is Twigpounce, you're Pants now. Plus if you're actively stuck with kittypets, you'll start going by Pants as well. Thus the kittypet's steal your name.
Cats that come back from twolegs always come back changed, from how they talk, to how they walk, to what food they eat, to the things they say. They can still shake off the influence and return to the wild, but they'll always be a bit off, a bit different. Everyone knows Tallstar was pet-touched a long time ago from how he acts, but everyone politely doesn't bring it up.
Avoid kittypets! They're tricksters that look like us but they're liars with their fake mice and fake warmth! Do not trust! They aren't true cats! They're something different! Something more dangerous! Do not be tricked!
Also Longtail still throws down with Rusty because he's an idiot and also probably hoping that this will make the scary fae child leave his clan alone.

okokokok HEAR ME OUT !… rottmnt brothers x a gn! younger adopted sibling medusa hcs… whose snakes are lowkey protective of them… sometimes they act on their own but if the reader is feeling an emotion strongly they’ll feel that emotion… yeah… (can you also make the reader calm, collected and reserved?)
(Idk if ur reqs are closed or not so u can do this later or delete it if you want)
ROTTMNT X MEDUSA!READER
Tumblr media
ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 .ᐟ fluff, bit of angst, reader is gn!! (Look at how cute they are)
RAPH
As babies he was always so scared of the snakes on your head. Like what do you mean it's supposed to be your hair? How does that even work?
Every now and then when he's passing by your room, he couldn't help but sneak a glance of you pampering to the snakes. It's just so amusing to see you treat them as if they have a mind of their own.
Which they do in some cases.
Growing up together, he has gotten use to the fact that the snakes happen to also feel whatever emotions you feel. Anger. Despair. Joy.
Never in his life would he ever think to see a hundred snakes smiling at him. But oh well, at least you're happy.
He is honestly very astonished with your ability to turn any living or non-living things to stone.
There was this one time where you guys were fighting and a member of the foot clan managed to sneak up behind you, but due to your enhanced reflexes, you were fast enough to turn him into stone. You simply blew at the sculpture and eventually it loses its balance and falls.
Remind him to never mess with you 'cause being turned into stone does not look fun.
Despite your scary appearance, you were the most chill person in the group. You would always be found either in the living room watching tv or in your room doing your thing.
What I'm trying to say is that you're the least expected sibling to create the huge mess of the day for everyone to deal with.
He doesn't find the snakes on your head too much of a deal, he cares and loves you all the more.
LEO
He finds the snakes on your head so cool!!
Since ya'll were kids, he's been constantly storming up with stupid tricks or ideas to do with you.
And you obliged each time because you didn't feel like it was anything dangerous. Most of the time you guys end up having fun.
He has once asked you to turn Donnie to stone. Obviously you said no.
Even though your ability to turn people to stone is irreversible, it still doesn't give you the excuse to just do it to anyone or anything as you liked. Which is the same thing you've said to Leo multiple times and he always let's out an annoyed groan at your reminder.
He 100% picks fight with the snakes on your head. Always sneakily poking one or pulling one (obvs not that hard) when it's not looking, what he doesn't realise is that you can feel it too. He's been bit many times for doing that but he never learns.
He just enjoys messing with you :(
It's the sibling energy in him.
Did I forget to mention how he managed to convince you to turn him to stone in order to escape Raph's lecture? Yeah that happened.
I've said this before and I'll say this again, he definitely makes terrible dad jokes related to snakes towards you. It always entertains him and him only.
"You know, people always say snakes are so venomous but I think they're just slitherin around"
"That was terrible Leo"
He likes to hug you because he just loves the feeling of the snakes on your head rubbing against his face. It's like the same feeling you feel when a cat rubs it's face against your face. So relaxing.
He loves to especially bury his face into them.
It weirds out the others but you don't mind as long as he doesn't hurt you or the snakes.
He just LOVE LOVE LOVESSSSS it.
Also the way your eyes glows red alongside the snakes whenever you turn something to stone? You look ethereal!!
And the tiny traces of scales across your skin??? Badass!!
He'll literally wear a cheerleader fit and swing around pong pongs to cheer you on.
DONNIE
Since you were kids, he was always drawn towards the snakes on your head. He always wondered how did it even get there.
He once accidentally pulled on one of the snakes as a kid and the bite on his hand is now scarred to life.
He doesn't tell you but he thinks the snakes looks great on you, the green matching the green in your eyes is like the cherry on top. Not to mention your fashion sense is amazing!!
He doesn't mind having you stay in his lab, you're not loud and don't disturb his work which he appreciates it.
I like to think that whenever he's bored, he'll probably approach you to examine on the snakes on your head. You don't really mind and just continue on doing whatever it is that you were doing in the first place.
Though, there was this one time you caught him waving at the snakes and smiled when they all greet him back.
He definitely asks questions about stuff.
Some of the questions that still stuck to you was "If you used a mirror and activated your power, will you be able to turn yourself to stone?" And "Do the snakes on your head grow like hair?"
The last one might be true in a way. The snakes only extends when you want it to. You just do it when it's convenient, whether to toss a bad guy away or to grab a cup of coffee on the table.
He would hyperfixate on Greek Mythology when he sees the obvious similarity. However it just made his brain spin even more. Were you also cursed? He never knew how to ask you about that since he's afraid to trigger your emotions.
The last time he did that the snakes on your head all began hissing at him, not to mention seconds away from attacking him.
But it doesn't matter, you'll tell everyone when you want to. All he knows is that you grew up together and care about each other, that's already enough.
MIKEY
Oooh snakes.
I just have a feeling that since babies, the snakes on your head has always been so affectionate towards Mikey.
Like out of all the brothers, he's the only one they let him do things with. Helping you do different hairstyles, feeding them and even giving them accessories. Anything he can do to make you look glamorous.
He also happen to name each of the snakes. He says he doesn't have a favourite but it's way too obvious that you're his favourite.
He hates it however when you're sad, the way the snakes on your head pretty much drops with a frown breaks his heart.
Everytime Leo decides to mess with you, Mikey is 100% already there and simply standing menacingly behind him, waiting for him to finally notice him.
"He's standing behind me isn't he?"
"😡"
A lot of the days where its sunny, he would definitely take you go swimming. He knows how frustrated you get when it's too hot.
Same goes to when it's winter, this boy will go out of his way to make a comfortable beanie for you to use and for the snakes to nestle in.
Also you have a big appetite but do not fear!! He will prepare you the most delicious meal you'll ever eat!!
You're surprisingly good at communicating with animals. You've befriended some of the rats in the sewer and he can't help but call you the "Rat Whisperer"
He loves hanging out with you, whether if it's doing nothing together or having fun, he likes spending every second with you.

༉‧₊˚. not your average ayato arranged marriage trope.
a/n: so you know those ayato fics where you guys get in an arranged marriage but you live him and he doesn't live you back? Yeah... this is one of those but MY way. (My way or the highway)
gn!reader, poc!reader friendly <3 reader has a dendro and electro vision.
_________ ׂׂૢ་༘࿐
So, the story starts with you. This whole thing started because you wanted more money and power and status, because who doesn't? Now, what sets you apart from the other clans is that you care for your workers and pay them well, so naturally, your reputation is very high in Inazuma. However... money is the reason we exist! Everybody knows it, it's a fact - kiss kiss <3 Now, which other clan in Inazuma has a handsome, rich and highly respected leader? I know! The Yashiro Commission, or the Kamisato Clan. After a few talks, papers were signed and arrangements were made for you guys to be wed.
Ayato was only doing this because a lot of other suitors were on his sister's heels, and he cared too much about her to just let her be thrown away. So, he signed the marriage contract with no feelings for you. We all know why you signed, gold digger, so everything is in place.
The first date was... interesting. You both arrived, looking very attractive, and stood there. Awkwardly. Now, don't get me wrong, you are a wise and powerful person, your dendro vision is very strong when used simultaneously with your electro vision, and Ayato is no doubt a dangerous person with a chilling smile, yet you two just plastered your fake smiles on your faces and kissed each other on the cheek. A long day was ahead, discussing how your clans would be linked, a dinner date, more discussing, brunch, even more discussing, and then going home. It seemed more like a school day rather than an outing. Nevertheless, date 1 was completed.
Date 2: a stroll by the docks, hand in hand. You turned out to be very good at being a fake ass bitch/bastard because even Ayato believed that you were truly in love with him for a second or two. Poor him. His poker face remained, though, never cracking.
Along the way, you two had a little run-in, shall we phrase it that way, and a gang of nobushis were surrounding a small girl. Ayato simply... looked the other way. First of all, how dare he? A small, helpless girl was in danger, and he just decides to... ignore it? Rich people sometimes. You hastily stepped in and wielded your weapon with grace yet brutally slayed the nobushi. Oh, how overjoyed the little girl was that you were there to save her! She clung to you and cried, her parents were dead, they were gone forever! You didn't mind Mr Kamisato telling you that this is unprofessional and you should just leave her so that the Tenryou Commission can take care of her, you decided to take her back home with you.
Despite the interruption, you two carried on your... I don't even know what to call it anymore. You just hated him with your whole heart. How do have the audacity to tell someone not to save a child, call it unprofessional to her face, and side-eye you the entire walk back? Honestly. It's for the money, you told yourself - it's for the money.
3rd date: everything just falls apart. There's you and him throwing passive-aggressive comments at each other, you winning the argument and muttering the slyest little insults known to man at him, and there's Ayaka, who accidentally asked if the little girl was yours and Ayato's. She did have your skin tone, and her face did resemble the latter, having pretty, long, blue hair - anyone could've made that mistake! But, here we are. You: disgusted with the man sitting in front of you, and Ayato: quite displeased with you. There was still hope, you got your benefits, a daughter that isn't actually yours but you loved her nonetheless, and a nice house. Amazing.
Fast-forward to the present; you've been married to Ayato for 2 years now and every day he comes home tired and not wanting to talk to anyone. Fair enough, everyone has their bad days, but this was more than that. He just seemed... bored. Your life with him wasn't your favourite thing about being a part of the Clan, but your daughter - Aarya - and all the extra money you got were keeping you sane. So, you smiled to yourself.
Life was okay.

hxh yandere main four x gn reader??:))
YAN! HXH MAIN FOUR X GN! READER HCS
I did a poly, sharing situation. I hope that was what you were looking for.
its pretty shit, so I'm sorry
tws: stalking, murder, gaslighting, manipulation, implications of noncon, abuse, drugging, Stockholm, vague descriptions of injury, noncon somnophilia, forced pregnancy for afab readers, memory loss
MINORS ARE AGED UP!!!
Killua would develop this kind of attraction to someone because of their caring and kind nature. Maybe they're gentle to everyone and love to take care of people.
Maybe you took care of him when he was injured and made him good food, or perhaps he met you in the Hunter Exam. Either way, good fucking luck.
Killua grew up with a family of assassins and did not have the nurture a child needs. Illumi is extremely possessive of Killua and these habits were passed on to Kill himself.
Therefore, Killua thinks these habits are normal and when he confides in Gon about this, finding out that Gon has these same obsessive tendencies, he'll be even more inclined to do what he wants.
Gon grew up without his mother and father so he's obsessed with having a family one day. When he falls in love with you, it feeds into this delusion of keeping you safe from all harm so that one day you two can have the family he so desperately wants.
Gon doesn't have a specific type, but he does like the idea of having someone to protect.
When Gon and Killua are paired as yanderes, they're unstoppable.
Killua is a training, confining, princess love type, obsessive, delusional, possessive, overprotective, manipulative, stalker, monopoly yandere. He's not above hurting you
Gon is a delusional, confining, delusional, monopoly, obsessive, dependent, murder-suicide, self-harm, overprotective, training, manipulative, removal yandere.
Killua's training is vastly different from Gon's. Killua will hurt you, break bones, sever muscles, and then he will build you back up.
Gon is the softer training type. He'll be upset with you, but will whisper ever so softly, 'this is why you should let me protect you.' and proceed to manipulate and gaslight you while he cleans you up.
Gon and Killua, if provoked enough will kidnap you. They'll chain you their bed and monitor you, leave you in the care of Illumi for missions (which is never a good thing because the entire time they're gone, you have no human interaction outside of Illumi feeding you).
Gon and Killua like to drug you when you're 'misbehaving' so that it's easier to punish you. Oftentimes, their punishments consist of looooong 'lovemaking' sessions. They'll overstimulate you so much that you'll promise not to do it again.
If you are afab, Gon and Killua will force a pregnancy upon you, no matter how that may affect you.
Killua wakes up a lot during the night, and sometimes he just can't resist using your body for his pleasure.
Kurapika became a yandere shortly after he fell in love with you. After his clan's massacre, he just couldn't afford to lose you too, so he always has tabs on you.
Kurapika is the chill yandere in this relationship. As long as you're in sight, he doesn't care what you do. That doesn't mean that Gon and Killua won't kill someone if Kurapika gives them the go-ahead, though.
Please, please, please don't make Kurapika angry with you. He will tell Killua and you will not like it.
Kurapika wants you to lean on him more than anyone else, so he does his best to worm his way into your heart and psyche.
Leorio is the insecure one in this relationship. How can he compete with the others? He can't protect you and he can't use nen, so why does he think he has a shot?
Leorio is the only one in this relationship who knows that these feelings of obsession are wrong, but he can't bring himself to stop.
Leorio is the insecure type. He thinks he's inferior to the others and often wonders if he even stands a chance.
If he decides that he doesn't... watch out.
Leorio will kill you and then himself.

sending this as an ask but also putting it in the discord (if you can find a way to put this under a cut so that it doesn't become a scrolling hazard i would love that, but if not possible then this can remain a discord list!)
so considering fallenclan is definitely entering a new era with ravenstar, i decided to make a list of who i think his supporters will be. i believe most of the cats who become his lackeys are going to be those that are young and impressionable. i believe cats like crowflame, evie, willowsplash, etc. who remember life under goldenstar's leadership are actually going to vehemently be in opposition to ravenstar. exiling elders theory is actually pretty legit! (in my clangen files, when i don't want to exile a cat bc i'll lose track of them, i keep them in the clan but add something to their name or desc to note that they're "exiled" or a part of a resistance or something if the leader is evil). these are all just theories and my own ideas about the characters ofc
anyway here's the list:
levi---this one is a given. we don't know much about him other than that he's bloodthirsty and was taken into the clan by ravenstar.
flamefall---ravenstar's first and only (at this point) apprentice. has the nervous trait so i'm assuming he finds ravenstar to be quite intimidating. he was the cat to remind cherrystar about feathersight's omen, which led to her making ravenstar deputy. i don't flamefall is inherently malicious, but i do believe he could be coerced or threatened into doing ravenstar's bidding.
sleepydawn---a cat who's sick of living in his dead father's shadow, wanting to make a name for himself... by being a part of ravenstar's inner circle. has the bloodthirsty trait as well. i think sleepydawn is a very jaded and bitter cat and ravenstar will play into that quite a bit. he had the insecure trait as an apprentice so i feel he desperately wants approval. ravenstar gives him this approval.
patchback---a bit uncertain on this one. she was exiled from her previous clan and probably feels beholden to fallenclan for taking her in. perhaps she will follow ravenstar more closely out of fear of being exiled again. she has the fierce trait which makes me think she can be quite intimidating/fiery when provoked.
frecklefox---i view him as being rowdy and chaotic but not particularly cruel. i think he'd start out more as a lowkey follower who antagonizes cats who "don't support" ravenstar and slowly becomes more devote.
hazelthorn---she's charismatic and an unusually strong fighter. i see her as being someone who listens and observes all amongst the clan and then reports back to ravenstar (warning him about potential "traitors").
toadbelly---a chill guy. or is he?
marshpaw & bearpaw---putting these two together because they're both righteous. ravenstar did promise to "look after" them, after all.
sootstep---her apprentice trait was ambitious and her current trait is loyal. gives the impression of someone who seeks to move up in the clan's ranks and scorns cats she finds disloyal to ravenstar.
i honestly can't see a lot of the characters that have been already well established as being in support of ravenstar but uh. here's my list
-🐉
ohhh dragon i love this !!! especially your analysis of sleepydawn and hazelthorn! and i will say that at least Some of your predictions are true... :3

it’s been a hot minute since ive read warrior cats so i just wanted to ask what the relationship between ferncloud and brightheart is? and in turn the general premise of your coming surrounding them? im really interested!!
It has been a hot minute since i've touched a book too, anybody is free to correct me but. In canon, they really just were apprentices at the same time.
If you wana pepe silvia it up, it should be noted that the books however included that:
Fernpaw and Ashpaw's mother is killed by the dogs
Swiftpaw would invite Fernpaw (and Ashpaw) to find out what's been out there hunting down Thunderclanners (It should be stated that Swiftpaw, I think, did this for his Warrior name and wanted support. I don't know if there was ever any mentioned other noble cause on saving his Clan or specifically his apprentice denmates)
Brightpaw and Swiftpaw leave, that whole tragedy happens.
Fernpaw is the one to confess to Fireheart (and Cloudtail, I think?) about where the missing Swiftpaw and Brightpaw's whereabouts are. Which, theoretically helps Brightpaw be found in time.
The book never really shows them interacting otherwise, as far as I can remember, but Ferncloud and Brightheart also most likely shared time in the nursery together since they have kittens around the same era... which you never see because that's in between The Prophecies Begin and The New Prophecy, and Whitepaw is an apprentice by then.
Basically I'm making mountains over underdeveloped molehills over side characters, but I think with what's given, there's a lot of emotional exploration to be had over it, while still feeling in-line with canon!
I should say as well, I was all particularly inspired by this because a couple of Warriors videos ('Danse Macabre', 'No one, Everyone, Your mama') both included a shot of Fernpaw watching them leave in the night. It's such a simple thing to include, but there's a lot of weight to seeing your friends the very moment they leave to go on a suicide mission and one of them never coming back! What would have happened if you broke their trust and just told on them to not leave! Is it your fault they died!?
Soooo with all that being said, and my absolute hunger for just... more interpersonal relationships between characters in Warriors (which they fail me for even the main characters), there's a lot of strong potential in this.
With my take on Brightheart and Ferncloud, I just see them as really good or bonded friends who grew up together. They go through a lot through shared trauma, and based on the tidbits of personality given for both of them, I think they also would get along. Fernpaw being timid, Brightpaw being caring for others. In my comic I've added a bit to also imply Brightheart agreed to go with Swiftpaw not only to support him but to do it for Fernpaw/Ashpaw as well. I hesitate to put any further label on it since... well, their children get together romantically so it would add to the tangle of bloodlines, but I def can see it as how some childhood friends have sibling bonds.
For the comic... you will have to see exactly what happens! It's short, chill. Mostly conversational, just like the Shrewpaw/Ferncloud one but i hope it still hits emotional beats. I think something just fun to chew on while I make it is... How would it feel to watch your friends try hunt something that killed your mother, and only one survives, coming out of it extremely shaken. What would seeing her again feel like.
Perhaps I have talked to much, but I actually planned to do an extension of this comic where it timeskips further on where all the apprentices, grown up, visit Swiftpaw's grave.... but I decided against this because. 1. This is already a lot of work to do this many pages. 2. It's gonna be pretty long already, and I do not like making extremely long posts on tumblr. 3. I found a different way to end the comic I preferred.
Here's the script. Perhaps maybe I'll touch on it another while but admittedly after this I may be tired of exploring the Dog Incident for a bit.

Thank you for being so kind and inquiring! It's very fun, I enjoyed explaining this.

★ Hello, all you wonderful people. I know it's been a pretty long time since I've posted any kind of story or fic update. The inspiration well has been suffering a terrible drought, and then this idea hit me pretty hard, and I decided just to see where it would take me. Story will get smutty so, no minors or ageless blogs. ★ The world is entirely my own as it is part of another piece of fiction I am writing, however, @twisteddaydreams1135 & @meggsngrits have been helping so much with ideas and plot, it's not even funny. Thank you guys for your continual help. I know I wouldn't even have started this if it wasn't for you two. I also pulled some inspo from the incredible fantasy audio series by Yuzuya. ★ Below I give you a little taste of what is to come. The story will heavily follow the BakuSquad as well as some other beloved characters from the series. I really hope you all enjoy ♡

When you woke up this morning, this wasn't quite how you imagined your day would play out. It started normal, a bit exciting even. You had the opportunity to aid two travelers in locating information regarding some dragon clans, which just so happened to be your area of expertise.
But, you thought when they walked down the library's grand marble staircase and out into the crowded evening streets, it would be the end of the day's excitement. Truth be told, even if you were a senior librarian, nothing too thrilling ever really occurred within the city limits.
All of that changed just a few hours later.

Never in your life had your heart raced quite this fast. Then again, you'd never been running for your life before. Hand in hand with the very loud, and grouchy blonde you'd helped earlier in the day. Footfalls pounding against the cobblestone road in sync with each other, propelling yourselves forward, keeping just ahead of the six hunters that had cornered you not minutes before.
He pulled you through the city you'd always called home, the one you'd never left, making sharp turns down alleyways and cutting across roads without so much as a second thought. Anything he could think of to get them off your trail, he was trying, and yet nothing deterred them.
You were nearing the city limits. And it was only a limit because it was a cliffside. A massive one at that. Standing high above the sea with its unforgiving waves hundreds of feet below.
“When we get to the ledge, don't slow down. Just keep running and jump.”
Just when you thought it would burst, your heart sped up even more. He was insane. He had to be.
“Are you mad? That's a cliff, you know! We'll die!”
“Don't argue! Just do it!”
Before you could blink or hold him back, his free hand flung out behind you both, and magic exploded outward from his palm in a brilliant display of light and sparks that had citizens screaming and debris scattering in every direction. But, it afforded you time. Just precious seconds to create enough space between you and the hunters.
The ledge was a few meters away, there was no going back now. “JUST JUMP!” He screamed, and another blast went off powerful enough to launch the two of you right over the edge, and then you were free-falling through the open air.
Your stomach lurched, and your heart lodged itself in your throat as the wind tore through your hair and stung your skin like a thousand tiny needles. You had a death grip on the blonde's hand and just waited for the icy waters below to swallow you whole, but no chill came.
One moment you were falling, and the next, you were flying. Your body connected with something hard as the man held you in place. “Get up here. Can't have ya fallin' off.” You opened your eyes to see two massive ebony wings, dragon wings, carrying you away from the only home you'd ever known...

When you and Naoya were walking to the entrance, the silent part was a bit of a lie. He gave you the directions to a bullet train that would take you to the outskirts of the city (since he knows you've never left the estate in your life) where you'd have to walk up a mountain. Someone at the school already knows you're coming. How, you don't know, but you'd have to trust what Naoya told you and go with that person who knows you're coming.
The walk to the bullet train was a bit chilling, and not just from the air. There were a few lingering people who gave you weird stares as you passed by them, though you paid no mind to them. They were probably wondering what some 15 year old girl was doing out on the streets alone at 4 in the morning. During your walk, you were coming up with something to say to the principal for when you get there. It wasn't as hard as you thought it would be. Saying that you're going to Tokyo Jujutsu High School because you want to spend your life as an actual person, not just some servant who works around the estate at their lord's request, to feel an adrenaline rush in the heat of battle, to have other relationships besides a master-servant one would be a good enough reason, right?
No one was on the bullet train when it came to the stop that you were sitting at. You figured no one would be on, as it was 4 in the morning. You sat in silence the entire ride to the outskirts, thinking about what else you might say when you get to the principal while the faint music was playing over the radio.
When you got off, which was after about a 45 minute ride, you didn't bother to look out the window to see if anyone was there. You simply grabbed your bag and got off the train, stepping out onto the narrow sidewalk which led to some dirt trail that went all the way up the mountain.
You shot your eyebrows up, looking up at the giant mountain. The sky was dark blue, which meant the sun would be coming up in a little bit, and you were standing at the foot of some mountain when some guy with white hair came down from the side.
"Are you Y/n?" The man asked, getting your attention as you turned to face him. He had a smirk on his face, one that looked similar to Naoya's, and it pissed you off. That guy's first impression was already ruined and he only said three words.
"I am," You answer bluntly as you watch the man get closer and closer. His smirk turned into a wide grin as he held up his arm, "Nice! I'm Gojo Satoru!"
You crooked your brow as you narrowed your eyes; so this is Gojo Satoru. Tall, lanky, and weird. You didn't shake his hand, but you kept standing there, watching him carefully. After a moment of awkward silence, he let his arm fall and cringed.
"I didn't think we'd be getting anymore students this far into the year," Gojo commented as you and him started up the mountain. When he noticed that you were going a different direction, he stopped, turned to face you and watched you go the longer way, then chuckled to himself. "We're going this way, it's a shortcut." He nudged his head in the other direction as you looked at him. Your eyes shifted from the dirt trail to some stairs that started on the side of the mountain that you apparently didn't notice.
"So, I hear you're from the Zenin clan, huh?" He asks, tilting his head closer to you and starting conversation again, which you thought was too early for it considering it was almost 5. Still, you nod your head in response, "I came from the estate, but I'm from another clan."
"I see, another student of mine is from the Zenin clan," He continued with a grin. Your eyebrows shoot up again as you turn to face him; could he possibly be talking about Maki?
"Though she never mentioned you..." He glanced at you through his sunglasses that you thought were ridiculous since the sun wasn't even out. Your eyes lowered as your mood began to dim, Maki never talked about you? Not even once? Does she even remember you?
"Well, that's from when I've been around her, so I dunno, she might've mentioned you around her other classmates," He corrected with a shrug. You only had the energy to huff, there were so many stairs that you were beginning to think you were stuck in a matrix. "I can't wait to find out what grade you are."
"Me too," You lied, grumbling through your lips as you brought your hand up to hang on to the railing of the stairs. Gojo chuckled, watching you hold on to that railing for dear life as if your legs would fall off at any second. You glared at him as you heard him giggle, then picked yourself back up and marched up those stairs like you weren't trembling a second ago.
"We're already here...?" You looked up at some building in awe, watching it as you and Gojo got closer and closer to it. He nods with a hum as he walks past you and sped towards the building like he's in a race. You frowned a bit then decided not to do anything but keep following him.
"It's not that far of a walk when you take the short cut up the side of the mountain," Gojo says as you turn the corner to find these giant brown doors that are opened up, thanks to him. You figured that's what he was speeding past you for as you gripped the bag slung over your shoulders, walking into some poorly lit room that was only supported with a few candles sitting in the support beams.
"You're late," A loud voice boomed throughout the room as its host sat there, a bunch of dolls sitting behind him as he sat criss-crossed. You lift a brow in confusion before he speaks up again. "6 minutes to be exact. Not enough to chastise you for, though."
"Then don't chastise me," You grumble as you frown, letting your arms fall from the straps of your bag. The man sitting at the end of the room huffed, thinking for a moment. The silence was so loud, and it was equally as uncomfortable as you waited for the man to say something else.
"Why are you here," He finally spoke up. "Why do you want to be a Jujutsu sorcerer?"
This was your moment of truth, the moment you'd finally sound confident in front of the principal of Tokyo Jujutsu High School. You were sure you were going to get in, you'd just have to voice it and make it sound like you're not scared.
"I, uh..." now you're just disappointed in yourself, did you forget what you were gonna say? Did it all slip your mind by some chance? You couldn't let that happen, you recited that speech in your head over and over again until you saw Gojo for the first time. "I wanted to break free from the chain of command and misogyny," now you're confident in what you're going to say. "When I got the opportunity to get the hell out of that Zenin estate, I felt excitement for the first time in my life. Leaving that horrible place meant that I'd finally be living my own life and not being bossed around by some guy who I was leant to as a servant. I'd get to experience my own adrenaline rush, I'd get to have friends, I'd get to be my own person as Hatake Y/n, I'd get to use my abilities on curses and not some guy from the Zenin clan."
The room was silent after that. The man sitting at the end of the room stared at you through his sunglasses which you thought were even more ridiculous than Gojo's- his at least looked like shaders, the principal's just looked ugly. He bruted for a moment, thinking of a response to your speech. He was definitely impressed by it, not everybody comes in as confident as you do.
"Satoru, show this girl to her room," He finally stood up. He was a bit surprised that he didn't have to use his dolls that were not ordinary dolls at all. "Welcome to Jujutsu High."
"Sweet, c'mon kiddo," Gojo grinned as he turned on his heel to the open doors. You twirled around to face him, watching as he was about to stroll out from the building. Sure, you were confident in your speech, but you didn't think you'd get in on the first try, which left you a bit appalled by your immediate acceptance.
Gojo did a quarter turn, glancing at you as you were still standing there, then nudged his head the other way. "C'mon, you're in the girl's hallway." He turned back around to continue walking in the direction of the girl's dormitories. You finally collected yourself and sped after him, walking out the doors that immediately closed after you left them.
"You sure do have a way with words, Y/n," Gojo commented lightly as he turned to face you with a grin. You cringed at his toothy grin, scrunching up your face in clear disgust. "Not everybody gets in based on first impression, I feel like people are gonna like you here." he continues, facing forward as you and him turn a corner that soon leads to the actual campus, just with a 10 minute walk.
Gojo furrowed his eyebrows a bit at your silence, he was confused for a moment, wondering why you're so quiet. The speech you gave the principal was the longest you've ever talked, and that's the most Gojo's ever heard from you in the 20 minutes that he's known you. Even though it's early in the morning, and he's willing to bet you're tired from that train ride then walking up all those stairs, he's still wondering why you're so quiet. Are you always like this? Did you not have any friends back at the Zenin estate? You did, Gojo just didn't know about it.
"You're quiet, something on your mind?" he asks as he shuffles his hands into his pockets. He takes one hand right back out to push open a door to let the both of you in. You stay silent as you shake your head. "I'm always quiet."
"Well, how do you expect to make friends when you're always this quiet?" he pressed, lifting one of his platinum white eyebrows. You momentarily glance at him, watching him stare at you with wonder in his bright blue eyes that you can even see when it's dark, then turn back to face forward. "I'll figure that one out later on, I just got here."
"Fair enough," he added as he shoved his hand back into his pocket. He looked off to his right and saw a door that was cracked open, and a paper was on it that said it was free, so he immediately sped over to rip it off. Gojo turned to face you with a bright grin as he ripped the paper into bits and pieces. "This is gonna be your room now, Y/n!" he chirps loud enough so that a certain someone that was sitting in her room across the hall from him could hear.
Said girl was sitting in her room, getting ready for early morning training when she heard him say your name. Maki, who was just about to put on her glasses, took a pause at the mention of your name. Her eyes are wide with shock, her body is still and unmoving, and she almost forgot how to breathe for a moment before she collected herself by shaking her head quickly. Maki put her glasses on then quietly crept to her door, staying silent as she pressed her ear to it to eavesdrop on you and Gojo.
"It's too early for all that," you grumble as you walk through the door that Gojo opened. Your new room was much larger than your old one back at the Zenin estate; you had an actual bed with blankets and pillows, a closet that you could walk into, and a bathroom that you could use. It was like a dream, one you've never had, but it felt so nice to have a room like this. The smallest smile crept upon your lips as you're walking further into the room; you spot a sliding glass door which opened up to a small backyard that had a small patio on it. This was the lap of luxury, if you've ever seen it. (you haven't)
"Nice, isn't it?" Gojo chirps as he walks into the room, admiring it like you are. You hum as you hastily place your stuff down onto the floor then plop down on your seemingly soft bed. He grins, watching you enjoy yourself as your arms are spread out onto your bed like you're making a snow angel.
Across the hall, Maki huffs as she can't hear you and Gojo anymore, then finally leaves the door, standing in front of it as she sets her hands on her hips. Maki thought that Gojo should've told her that you'd be coming here, it would've saved her the groggy surprise that she got so early in the morning. Maybe that's what she gets for always waking up. Then she wondered how he'd tell the others- Panda, Toge and Yuta. Would they be excited? Would Toge and Panda overgreet you and bombard you with questions? Just the thought of her friends overwhelming you irritated her, she had to keep that from happening, especially since she knows how quiet you are.
"Welp, it's still 5 in the morning, so you can sleep for a bit longer if you'd like," Gojo says as he turns to face the doorway. He shuts the door when he leaves, grinning to himself before walking down the hallway. Right as he starts, another door slides open to reveal Maki standing there with her spear in its red case. Gojo turns to face her with a lifted brow, "Good morning, student of mine." he grins once again as he watches Maki shut her door.
"You didn't tell me they were joining us," she grumbles quietly as she approaches him. Gojo cringes, squaring his shoulders as he continues his stroll down the hall. Maki followed after him as she was going over to the training room for a little bit before classes started.
Gojo shrugged, "I didn't know about it until last night, anyways. I wasn't gonna trek all the way to your room at 11 in the evening just to let you know that Y/n's gonna be here today," he admitted as the both of them turned a corner. Maki narrowed her eyes as she frowned; she shouldn't be so irritated, but she is. She herself doesn't know why, but maybe it's because Gojo seemed so cheeky about keeping that a secret, even if he did find out at 11 in the evening. She just didn't like the idea of having you being kept a secret.
"Are they gonna be in class with us today?" she asks, breaking the silence going on between them. Gojo nods with a hum, "Yup. I should be getting her ID card here in a little bit from principal Yaga," He answers as the two of them turn another corner. Maki lets out a sigh of relief, one that she's been holding in since she first heard Gojo utter your name earlier.
"So I see that you and Y/n used to be friends at the Zenin estate, huh?" Gojo teased, nudging his elbow at her. Maki frowns as she slaps his arm away and distances herself from him as he giggles. The walk down the hall is silent for the rest of the time before Gojo makes the turn to head to the nurse's office.
"I'll see ya later, Maki," he chirps before turning down the hall. Maki doesn't say anything and instead walks up to the vending machine sitting against the wall and taking out her card. Her eyes scan the machine while she looks for what she wants, then ultimately chooses this thing of chocolate, typing in the combination and swiping her card. As her chocolate falls from the bracket, Maki looks to her right and notices the sun is peeking beyond the horizon to say goodmorning to the world.
Maki takes her chocolate that hit the bottom of the vending machine then swiftly leaves the hallway to go to the training room. For some odd reason, her chest feels heavy as she's walking towards the training room. It's irritating her because she can't think why it's happening. She's as healthy as a horse, and her mental health is average, which makes her positive she's not having an anxiety attack, so why does it feel like her heart is sinking?
She simply shakes her head as she slides open the door, revealing a room with a mat on the floor and a bunch of training weapons hung up on the wall, and a punching bag on the other side of the room. She sighs, walking in and setting her red case down before popping her knuckles. Maki walks over to the punching bag after wrapping bandages around her knuckles, pausing for a moment to collect herself.
Eventually she raises her arm to punch it, the impact sending the punching bag swinging back and forth while Maki simply stands in front of it. She's not throwing another punch, she realizes after a moment of the bag that's still swinging. Why's she not punching a punching bag? Normally she's tearing it up by now, but today she's stiff, like she physically can't throw a punch at the moment. Now she's irritated to no end, between Gojo keeping your arrival a secret, the heavy weight on her chest, and now her inability to punch a punching bag, something she does everyday, she's pissed. Now she has to prevent herself from lashing out at her friends today, especially not in front of you.
Speaking of you, you're laying flat on your bed, staring at the ceiling and waiting for the sun to keep rising. Your chest rises and falls with each breath you take, waiting for life to give you permission to see the other students that go here. You were curious, what were they like? Were they nice? Were they spunky? Were they rude, Were they foul-mouthed? All these questions of possible character traits were floating in your head like you're counting sheep, eventually making you a little dizzy, so you shake your head to make the questions disappear.
You sigh deeply, twiddling your thumbs together as you lay there, stiff on your bed and counting the specks on the popcorn ceiling. That was boring, to say the least, which there was a lot to say about it, but you didn't bother to comment since no one would be listening. Popcorn ceilings can contain asbestos, and they could cause mesothelioma cancer. Not a very good ceiling, you would think. The only good thing about them is that they're better at absorbing sound, like if someone's playing loud music in a room.
Though the activity was boring, it did keep you occupied until the sun fully came up. You noticed it when your room was especially bright, which made you squint your eyes at the sunlight entering your room. The door slid open a moment later, revealing a woman with beautiful brown hair walking in and setting your uniform down on your bed.
"Gojo told me about you, he said you needed a uniform," she informed as she left it there, standing up straight and in front of you. She smiled a bit, though that did nothing to hide her dark bags underneath her eyes. "Hope you enjoy your first day," she finishes before turning on her heel to leave the room, shutting the door behind her to let you change.
You stared at the uniform like it's a bug, watching it as if it's about to move. Then, you crept your hand towards it to pull the shirt closer, holding in front of you by the sleeves. It looked pretty cute, there was a little gold button at the collar which was probably a giveaway that you're a Jujutsu Sorcerer. You let go of one sleeve and brought your hand up to unbutton the shirt so you could slip it on later. You removed your own shirt, letting it fall onto the hardwood floor and picked up the undershirt that was sitting next to you on your bed. It took you a while to unbutton that, but you do eventually, pushing your arms through the sleeves and buttoning it back up. Then you looked at the dark blue uniform shirt, picking it up and slipping it on.
After getting dressed, you walked around your room for a moment to adjust to your pants before walking over to your door, sliding it open and stepping out. You huffed, shutting the door and turning to face the opposite direction that you and Gojo came from earlier. The hallway is empty, which surprises you since Gojo also told you that this is usually the time that the others wake up, too. You shrugged it off after a moment, you figured that's because Jujutsu sorcerers are such a minority in the world, and that there's probably only a handful of people here at the school, much less students.
You were a bit lost, so it took you a while to make your way around the school since you were looking for the cafeteria. Gojo was wandering around too, and he immediately took you and stuffed you into one of the classrooms down the hall to make sure nobody saw you walking around. He said that nobody else knows you're here yet, so he wanted it to be a surprise to all the other students. You were confused, but ultimately agreed to hide in here and waited for Gojo to kick the wall in the other room to let you know that the others are ready.
"Gooood morning, everybody!" Gojo chirped as he threw his arms open. Everyone was sitting at their desks with deadpan expressions- even this one anxious looking boy seemed a bit unimpressed at the moment. Gojo bat his eyelashes under the bandages covering his eyes quickly at the silence everyone was giving him, then cleared his throat. "Now, you all must be wondering what you're doing here instead of being in your dumb classes," he started as he let his arms fall to his sides. Nobody said anything or asked anything, everybody simply stayed quiet. Maki crossed her legs, resting her arm on the back of the chair and tapping her knee for a moment while Gojo was looking for something else to say.
"Uhh...y'know how we all randomly get new students in the middle of the year, right?" he grinned while scratching the back of his head. His platinum white hair was standing upright, seeming as excited as he was to introduce you in just a few moments, but that would have to wait for a few more minutes. The four students looked at each other, then back at Gojo.
"So, uhh...everyone, get excited!" Gojo chirped as he was about to raise his leg. When he saw that everyone didn't give him the reaction he wanted, he frowned a bit.
"Get excited, damnit!"
Everyone still remained silent as Gojo kicked the wall with his heel, signaling for you to leave the other classroom and come into the room to introduce yourself.
The bang got your attention as you shot up from the chair, taking a deep breath before stepping out of the classroom and walking right into the next one. When the door opened, everyone turned their heads to face it as you walked through. Each and every one of those four students scowled a bit at your presence; cursed energy wise, Maki didn't have anything to frown at. It was how quiet you are at the moment. The others, Panda, Toge and Yuta, were a bit overwhelmed at your cursed energy presence. The three of them could already tell that you have a lot of cursed energy, which means a lot of baggage needs to be unpacked, but not right now, you just saw them for the first time.
Then, your eyes landed on Maki, who was staring at you intensely as the frown never left her face. You did think it was a bit impolite to walk in quietly and stay like that without saying anything to your old friend, but you were simply out of words at the moment. You were appalled to actually see Maki going here. You thought Naoya made a bad guess and sent you to the wrong school, but no, here she is, Maki Zenin in the flesh.
Gojo looked at you then glanced at everyone else. He knew that Maki knew you, so he decided to keep quiet on that and let the others find that one out for themselves. Gojo eventually cleared his throat to cut through the thick silence in the atmosphere.
"So uh, this is Y/n Hatake!" he chirped, throwing his arms open once again to introduce you. Everyone looked at you with deadpan expressions, and it made you a bit uncomfortable. Did they already not like you? What about Maki? What's her deal?
"Everyone, be nice to Y/n! They came from the Zenin clan literally a few hours ago, so be nice and get along!" Gojo demanded as everyone continued sitting there in silence. The anxious looking boy parted his lips to say something, only for nothing to come out.
Gojo frowned, he was getting a bit irritated at the silent treatment everyone was giving you, even to himself. So, he grabbed you by your shoulders and pulled you over in front of him, his hands still on your shoulders as you scowled at them.
"They're all being rebellious at the moment, so I'll make a quick introduction!" he chirped as he pat your shoulders with his hands.
"That one over there is cursed speech user Inumaki Toge!" Gojo pointed at the small boy with white hair. He waved when your eyes landed on him.
"Over here, we have special grade Okkotsu Yuta!" he pointed at the anxious looking boy with black messy hair.
"That's Panda!" Gojo pointed at the panda standing next to the desk.
"Sup. I'm Panda."
"Then, we have cursed tool user, Zenin Maki!" he eventually pointed at Maki with a much more enthusiastic finger. Your scowl left as you finally looked at Maki. Her arms were now crossed, as well as her legs, and her expression remained mundane as she stared right back at you. You swallowed the lump in your throat, then hesitantly raised your arm to sheepishly wave at her.
"Alright! I hope you all can get along nicely!" Gojo chirped as he pat you on the shoulder one more time before speeding out of the uncomfortable room, leaving you behind. You shuddered under everyone's intense stare, even that boy over there, Yuta, looked a bit intimidating when Gojo announced his grade. Eventually, you swallowed the pit of saliva sitting in your mouth with a loud and nervous gulp.
Maki unclenched her jaw, then rested her forearms on the desk. "So, you're finally coming here, huh?" she questioned while the other three boys turned to look at her. You nodded sheepishly, your silence irritating her a bit. She frowned slightly, then rested her chin on her palm. "Was it boring without me?" she continued, tapping her chin while she sat there. Yuta lifted a brow before glancing at you. "You know Maki-san?"
"We...we talked sometimes while she was still at the Zenin estate," you admitted, eyes flickering to Maki as she stared at you with an indifferent expression. Yuta hummed, then stayed silent after that. Nobody else said anything after that, so Maki decided to step up and talk to you again.
"How was it? Letting Naoya treat you like shit?" she pressed, lifting a brow. The topic made you even more uncomfortable than you already were. You weren't quite sure how to feel about him. He always bossed you around with that annoying smug tone in his voice whenever he requests something of you, yet you didn't quite hate him. You were definitely not fond of him, but when he was being soft for the first time last night, you couldn't shake the feeling of protection that he gave off. No, you're not confusing it for love; he's 25 and you're 15, that could never work, even as a big brother-little sister relationship.
"...It was pretty bad, to say the least," you said sheepishly. Your knees had been locked in for so long that you forgot you could stand properly now. Maki scoffed, not surprised at your response as she was expecting something negative.
"Not gonna lie, I think you should've left earlier, to save you from Naoya being a dick all the time," she said truthfully. You chewed on the bottom of your lip in silence, waiting for her to say something else.
"But, I'm still glad you got out of there," she admitted before the door slid open again, and everyone turned to face Gojo as he rushed in with an ID card in his hand.
"I forgot to give this to you, but here you go!" Gojo chirps as he hands you an ID card that had your name on it. Everyone else got up from their seats to get a look at your card, Maki was the first one to spring up and grab it first.
"You've got a good technique, so you're probably a first grade sorcerer," she said before getting a good look at your card. Her eyes blew open, and so did everyone else's a few seconds later when they saw what grade you were.
"Special grade?!"
"Now Yuta's got a grade buddy!"
"Shake."
You cringed at everyone's reactions, you knew your cursed technique was strong, even Naoya said that it was better than his own, but you didn't think it would land you in such a strong grade like that. "Uhh...well that's unexpected."
"Clearly," Maki grumbles as she hands you back your card. "You're already stronger than me, that's bullshit," she grumbles again with a frown. You clench your jaw and take the card back, shoving it in your pocket. Panda chuckles as he glances at you, "Do ya like the idea of fall practice?"
"What-?"
"No, they don't! They just got here, leave them alone!" Maki scolded the doll with a frown while Panda and Toge snickered at her lashing out. She rolled her eyes before looking back at you as you were staring at her sheepishly. "Don't listen to them- you don't have to take the fall practice today."
"That's so unfair! You're mean to everybody but you're nice to Y/n?!"
"That's because I don't care about you, so suck it!"
"That's so mean!"
"I don't care! You can suck it too, Yuta!"
You cringed as you watched Maki scold the three boys, then a tiny smile crept upon your lips as she finally finished, turning back to face you with a frown. She shook her head briefly, "Those three and Gojo are the reason why I hate boys."
"I can relate," you admit quietly, nodding in agreement. Maki quickly shot her head back at you with a lifted brow, "You swing that way?"
"What?! No?! Well- I don't know?!" you squealed as your face began to heat up. Maki hums, a smile stretching across her face for a moment. "That's ok, I do too."
"I said I don't?!"
"I don't believe that."
"I don't though!"
Maki gave you a knowing look, one that she never gives to any of the boys. Your face heated up once again under her stare as she continued to smirk, then turned on her heel to walk towards the door.
"C'mon, if ya don't wanna do fall practice, then you can train with me."

🍇 🍋 🥝 my evil questions
🍇Share the “villain” or main antagonist of your clan and talk about them!
honestly that's a tough one..i definitely have some morally dubious dragons here and there, but they're generally either staying out of other's ways so as to avoid trouble, or they just have very specific rivalries. (looking at you, Warglobe.) for dragons that could be said to antagonize the community as a whole though...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Paragon's probably the strongest contender, he's a pompous tundra and a con artist lying about his fortune telling abilities, but he's also Tarragon's younger brother and he's more than happy to use Tarragon's innate protectiveness over him to his advantage, pushing around other dragons and facing relatively few consequences. I think he has somewhat chilled out since his earlier years in Florabrisa though. Like, other dragons definitely got sick of his shit and usually he'd just flee when things start to go south, but he already sort of came to Florabrisa as a last resort specifically for Tarragon's protection so dfgsdf with few other options he's mostly laying low now and is just a regular at the clan tavern. Other dragons at the tavern probably have lots of opinions on him though fdgsfd
i also just wanna give an honorable mention to my Pearlcacther Millisievert! She considers herself a pillar of the community, and in many ways she really is, but she's also a busybody and overly concerned with appearances, so bascially she tries to act like a self-appointed HoA for Florabrisa dfgsfd if you're doing something she disapproves of, she is going to let you know and has lots of words to say about it. dfgfd still, she's hardly evil. she's just not fun to rub shoulders with.
🍋What’s the most dramatic/emotional moment in your lore? Explain it, or write one short paragraph of prose set during that moment
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ooohh..the most dramatic has gotta be Tamarind and Zaffre's divorce, which i 'summarized' here. Not great when two of your clan's four leaders have a serious falling out and one of their kids go missing dfsfdgfd Zaffre left the clan for half a year after that, before returning to her duties as leader.
Tumblr media
and i don't talk about this all that much, but honestly i should and it is related to the above..Florabrisa's biggest victim (and really the only one thankfully) is Clash and I feel so bad for her fdgsfd She's Zaffre's eldest daughter, from her relationship with Kyurem years before meeting the other future Florabrisa leaders. Zaffre was a hardcore survivalist plague dragon who liked living on her own in the wilderness, far away from society, and Kyurem thought that was exciting and loved the adventure and the two fell in love. But then once they had Clash, Kyurem realized they didn't want their daughter to be isolated from everything and grow up with no friends or outside resources. Zaffre vehemently disagreed, believing Clash would have everything she needed in the Wilderness..so due to these different beliefs they split up (no divorce because they never married) and took turns raising Clash. The arrangement seemed to go well at first, young Clash learning lots of useful survival skills with Zaffre and getting more social benefits with Kyurem, but as Clash started getting older (like..6 or 7 at this point) it was becoming clear she wasn't really enjoying her time in isolated wilderness with Zaffre, and even in town with Kyurem where she enjoyed her favorite luxuries like candy, musicals, and indoor plumbing, she wasn't fitting in well with dragons her own age. Zaffre begrudgingly started letting Clash stay with Kyurem for longer periods, and then Zaffre herself decided she would start slowly reconnecting with society, starting by getting in touch with an old coworker/friend named Moraine, who introduced her to Tarragon and Tamarind too.
Honestly Tarragon tends to get the credit since he picked out the location and name, but in many ways, Florabrisa was actually Zaffre's baby. She had been burned by civilization and other dragons many times, but she always saw herself as a leader and she secretly wished she could start her own community. And she was really missing spending time with Clash too...basically after giving tons of pep talks to her friends who were all struggling with Dragon Capitalism in their own ways, she convinced them to start Florabrisa, in large part because she hoped this would finally be the right environment to raise Clash, and of course enjoy her new marriage with Tamarind and have a family with him too.
But then, once they all started getting Florabrisa set up and having to deal with leaderly duties and actually managing a community, Zaffre really didn't have all that much time to raise Clash, and in having a nest of eggs with Tamarind, then Moraine and Tarragon having their own kids too (including taking in Keiji when his parents suddenly died), they kind of ended up shouldering Clash with babysitting duties when she was barely a preteen fdsdgf Clash loves hatchlings, and wanted to be a responsible older sister, but it really wasn't fair to her. I like to think Tarragon, Moraine, and Kyurem did their best to make sure Clash wasn't having too many responsibilities put on her, but Clash tends to be very closed off and great at hiding her feelings, so they still missed a lot of things dfgsfd and there was still the problem of Clash not fitting in with her peers, given her odd fashion sense, stilted speech, and apparent lack of emotions, all of which other kids would mock her for. This unfortunately did not go away in Florabrisa. In fact, Millie up there in the first question is only two years older than Clash and for most of their teenage years was her biggest bully, since Millie (who of course cares so much about Florabrisa's well-being) saw the marital problems between Zaffre and Tamarind, and as a concerned citizen she loved throwing fuel into the rumor mill that Zaffre was cheating on Tamarind with her old flame Kyurem, with Clash right at the center at that,,, Clash had it very very rough growing up fgfdh
So yeah. Florabrisa's cruelest irony is that it was founded in part to be the ideal place to raise Clash, but then they all just. completely flubbed that part. i am so sorry Clash :(
sometimes i have to wonder if she should have even stayed in Florabrisa, but I think as an adult she's found peace and she's much better supported now. She has her wife Antikyra and they have a child who is going to get the dream childhood that Clash deserved!
omg. well, so much for one short paragraph dfgsfdg it's been years and i just finally needed to talk about Clash i guess xD;
🥝If you were to start over on your lore and remake it entirely, what would you change?
Kiwi time dfgsfdgfds. ummm lets see. give Clash a better childhood for starters sfdgsfd
For years I thought to myself if i restarted my lair, I would make it a swamp instead. but then i made my swamp tab and pretty much gave myself everything i wanted so dfgsfd i really don't know! I have thought before that if i had a chance to do something new with my progens, I would make them an M snapper and f bogsneak who are just friends instead of the typical married-progens-thing, but honestly i would never change Moraine and Tarragon and married progens are still fun regardless dsfgsfd having a snapper progen would rule though.
thank you!! and i am sorry for the length of this dfgsdfgdfg

I need something to post cos I really don't feel like drawing, so here take my head canons about the personality of each of the Henry paths.
I am also not a shipper (personally shipping people is heckin weird)
Triple Threat- Mr Cheerful, goes along with Charles's plan, likes to chill, best buds with Ellie and Charles, but has a serious side you really shouldn't touch.
Valiant Hero- Mostly depressed since Charles was really his only friend, and is very sensitive about him. Breathe one bad word about Charles and TT may give you a glare, but VH will knuckle punch you in the face and demand you apologise.
Cleaned 'em Out- Friendly and laidback, he doesn't worry much at all, and a master tech Wizz because he was bored one day, doesn't flaunt his riches much, but clear signs of wealth.
Special Brovert Ops- The cheerfullest guy, can do some crazy stunts with Charles, enthusiastic as hell, everyone else mildly dislikes him as he can be really annoying. Surprisingly(or not) VH likes him.
Toppat King- Smug Rich Guy™ No.1, likes annoying R and T4L, but is really good with guns (aimbot on?). Is surprisingly good at negotiating when not actively being annoying.
Toppat 4 Life- Smug Rich Guy™ No.2, is very neutral, can come up with killer comebacks. Secretly very smug that he runs the clan by himself. Don't bring it up because he can drone on and on and on.
Revenged- Severe anger problems, is no stranger to threats, cold and stoic. Had a mental breakdown when he was revived, but otherwise shows little emotions other than anger. Secretly a sarcasm master, but doesn't show it much. He is very aggressive towards the Toppats.
Toppat Civil Warfare- Is the mediator because no-one else is. Calms down R when he has his bouts of anger. Is the definition of 'when a therapist needs therapy'. Also is a little terrified that Ellie may be brought up.
Stickmin Space Resort- Smug Rich Guy™ No.3, is cocky, but is a master at pleasing others. Lives in his uniform. He often deals with Karens and so hides his anger very well. He has a strict bar, that which you cross, say bye-bye.
Jewel Baron- Smug Rich Guy™ No. 4. He loves to party and is the most obnoxious and annoying out of all of them. But really, he's just depressed, and uses 'party!' to hide it. No-one truly gets him. Can be mature once in a blue moon.
Pardoned Pals- Has a comfortable life much like CeO, just minus the riches. Best friends with Ellie and is overall very calm. He's the local friend as he is quite neutral and is very friendly.
Toppat Recruits- Mostly friendly but can come off a bit cold, a bit snarky, and very fixated on stealing the ruby and emerald. Respects JB (doesn't know that JB abandoned Ellie).
Master Bounty Hunter- The scariest of them all(R is actually stronger but a machete carried around by a guy whose stare can petrify a criminal is really scary). Has taken up smoking but isn't addicted. Skilled in apprehending people.
Little Nest Egg- The most quiet of the bunch. Despite his riches, he doesn't show it at all. Good at quick decision making and often the most forgotten Henry as he tends to stay back. Also good at surviving in jungles.
Capital Gains- Smug Rich Guy™ No.5. Often provides snide remarks, but doesn't speak up much. He makes his connection to Ellie obvious, so TCW avoids him the most. He is also laidback, to a lesser extent.
Free Man- The most 'average' of the Henries. He is extremely good at escaping tough situations. A surprisingly smooth talker once you force him to share his thoughts. He's able to stay calm, even through the weirdest situations.

Okay so, given Mercury Black's and Cassandra Cain's backstories, what do you think both characters would feel after an encounter with each other where neither dies?
Sorry I've been neglecting asks recently, been kind of down and so just doing low effort reblogs with the occasional burst of energy.
Anyway!
This is a fun and interesting question I actually sought help in answering from but a humble good, who always has good Cass takes and loves RWBY!
Off the cuff and for anyone confused, the characters being asked about are:
Cassandra Cain - who was raised by master assassin David Cain to be the perfect killer. She was never taught to speak and only learned through physical action. Because of this she can essentially predict what a person will do before they act and she is functionally the best martial artist in the DC Universe, or always in the top 3. Said body language reading ability though also means she can experience her targets deaths by proxy which... Yeah basically led to her adopting a 100% no kill policy after her first mission. Thus leading her to running away, living homeless for several years before joining the Bat Clan and becoming Batgirl.
Mercury Black - Like Cassandra his father Marcus Black raised him to be an assassin like himself. Marcus may not have denied his son words but he instead stole the manifestation of his soul (His Semblance) claiming it was a "Crutch" and he would get it back eventually. He never got it back & instead had his lower legs mutilated to be replaced with robotic prosthetics which he then used to kill Marcus. Unlike Cass he's not the best of the best, but is definitely skilled & unlike her he's doggedly committed to the role of playing the villain with a veneer of jocularity he uses to hide that he can't imagine any other life.
Conclusion:
So we have two teens/young adults coming from very similar places as far as what they were trained and otherwise horrifically abused to be, but who ended up on seemingly opposite ends of the spectrum.
Cassandra's reaction when encountering most killers tends to be one of two things. A very stern "You need to grasp the enormity of what you are doing and stop or be stopped painfully." Or "Oh, you actually think this is in someway necessary, please do not do this, there is a way out, there has to be."
She's also very chill with people who did kill but choose not too, she's not... Preachy or judgmental in that sense, doing so would be hypocritical in her eyes.
So she'd likely emphasize a lot with Mercury, being able to see him as something of a "Therefore but for the grace of empathic body language go I." So she'd very much want to both stop him from killing but also show him that he can go down another path.
This doesn't mean she'd be inclined to be a doormat, quite the opposite but she'd definitely be working to communicate with him as much as fight him if she had to.
Mercury meanwhile would hate this. He is deep in denial about himself and hates being read for what he is, as local serial killer Tyrian Callows did in Volume 6:
Tyrian: (mocking) Oh yes, the world is mean, and I'm a big, bad man now just like the others. (laughs)
Mercury: (growls as he angrily walk over to Tyrian) How long have you been standing there?!
Tyrian: All you ever learned was pain and violence, and now you're too afraid to leave it. Such a tragedy.
Mercury: You don't know me!
So while he would see the connection the moment he had any details he'd throw up an aloof façade and claim Cass was weak and lacked the stomach for what he does or something to that effect.
Internally he'd be seething with resentment, or more, a blooming sense of inferiority about how someone who proves his beliefs wrong seems to so casually exists and wants to help him of all things.
He'd not welcome or trust her, not a first at least.

🗝️ favorite antagonist?
I'm assuming from AA since we share the fandom :)
I love Dahlia. In a series where most villains are people in power, and we escalated from legendary prosecutors to chiefs of police to TV celebrities that hire assassins to international spies to straight up queens... Dahlia is just a normal woman. A woman so consumed by bitterness against everyone in her life that she spreads misery wherever she goes. A woman so determined to get her way that she cheated death out of spite. A woman who, in her sloppiness to cover up after herself, killed her step-sister, manipulated her "boyfriend" to kill himself on the stand, poisoned another man into a coma, traumatized her cousin, killed her ex to make him shut up, nearly poisoned her new boyfriend out of annoyance, and nearly killed her other cousin in the body of her mother/her own aunt. It's not like Von Karma or Ga'ran whose actions got the biggest consequences due to their reach: Dahlia simply would not stop. And this is not accounting for all the emotional cruelty she displays, like reveling in the idea that Maya might have killed herself because it makes Phoenix suffer. She's not a magnificent bastard the likes of von Karma and Kristoph Gavin, but her sheer hatred makes her a memorable foe.
AA uses the "sweet woman is secretly a bitch" trope a lot, ever since April May. But Dahlia goes above and beyond because she is genuinely scary. Yeah her spirit form is one of the creepiest moments in the OG trilogy, but this sprite alone
Tumblr media
gives me chills. You know she is seething, but you don't see a thing, she's standing there, unmoving. It's worse than her white death glare, or her sneer.
And she has some badass lines too, like "And my profession? Permanently retired". (she apparently died a painful death, too...) Or man, how her first testimony in 3-5 after she revealed herself has her theme! And speaking of which, Distant Traces of Beauty is a beautiful piece that conveys so many emotions depending on the context! It sounds both sweet and empty. How do you do that?
Tumblr media
Her design is 10/10 too. Her giant moe eyes look almost uncanny with how big and black they are (going by her original sprite, not the HD one). She's so pink and frilly, but her sash is floating, which is both unnatural and makes her look like a butterfly (I think they used this concept again for Nahyuta, but they could make it flutter for him lol). The red hair is... admittedly a bit of a tired trope to indicate an evil character lol, but considering that her entire family is made of black-haired people and some brunettes, it makes you wonder if she deliberately dyed her hair to distance herself from her mother's clan, that person who deemed her worthless...
Tumblr media
also I just love this animation. it's neat. T&T has some great spritework.
Ah, I could go on. I love her. Fucked up evil woman with a tragic past that doesn't even begin to excuse all the awful things she has done 🥰 she deserved being roasted into oblivion 🥰
oh yeah simon keyes is also a fave of mine for similar reasons as to dahlia, except he didn't even personally hurt anyone. a king

kakashi or tobirama?
send me two characters
Who would win in a fight?
Oh my......... I'm going to go with Tobirama on this, with the disclaimer that I think there are circumstances under which late-series Kakashi could win. But Tobirama is one character who probably knows more jutsu than Kakashi and knows them better, because he invented like 30% of all OP moves in the series. Plus he probably has more combat experience and is used to countering a sharingan.
Who would be a better roommate?
Kakashi. Tobirama lives with a stick up his ass and while I don't think he'd be the WORST option out of all the character sent in, he would be. Pretty bad. Meanwhile Kakashi might tease me about some annoying or weird habits I have, but he's not going to be too much of an asshole about it.
Who’s better in bed?
Lol. I think Kakashi fucks and Tobirama doesn't. There you go.
Who I’d pick to be my presidential running mate?
Tobirama. SO MUCH would get done. I think Kakashi is a better pick than some other characters sent in, but he's a troll and under these circumstances I would be in a constant state of wanting to set him on fire. I would also want to set Tobirama on fire but this would be for separate, not presidential reasons. Tobirama would be so good at this job I wouldn't even complain about his personality.
Whose shoulder I’d cry on?
Kakashi. Kakashi might freak out over someone crying on him, but also he might pat your back and go "there, there" very awkwardly. Tobirama is..... bad at feelings. Don't cry on him.
Who would make a better parent?
I think they would.... both be okay. I do headcanon Tobirama as enjoying mentoring young ninja and being good at it, but I don't think he'd do well with kids under the age of 10, and he'd go into it with a lot of very high expectations and probably push his kids pretty hard. I think Kakashi is.... his outward personality is much more chill, which is better for raising a kid in some ways, but I can see him inwardly freaking out multiple times a day. Younger Kakashi is unlikely to be good at dealing with his feelings over a small helpless baby and then he'd make weird/bad choices. I think I'll go with late series Kakashi for this one, but I think Tobirama would be a better parent than early series Kakashi.
For a lot of these, my real answer is, "They'd be a fine parent, but oh my GOD do they need a co-parent or other support network." Like, Tobirama would make a great dad in the context of also having an entire clan to help out with the things he's bad at lmao.
Who I’d rather date?
(steeples fingers)
As much as I love Kakashi/OC fics, I have to pick Tobirama. First of all, who else is going to look ay my pictures of petri dishes. Second of all, Tobirama would show up ON TIME and I really hate habitual lateness. Third, I don't like dogs.

megumiiiiiiiii from jjk !!!!!!
<3333333333333333333333
I had no idea what this was for! 😆
My first impression: Megumi actually was the first character to get me to laugh. His introduction scene of him frantically checking that shed and then calling Gojo and telling him he was gonna punch him, yeah. That had me. I knew I was gonna like him.
My impression now: Again, I didn't hate Megumi during the first season. He may not be my number 1, but he is damn sure a favorite character.
Favorite thing about that character: To me, Megumi is a good balance of a character who's aloof but not too aloof. He's a shadow type, but he's not all about being dark and gloomy. He's transparent about his morals, but he doesn't go as far as to trying to oppose someone like Yuji every single time. Gege could have easily made him like the "bitter rival", but I'm glad he's not.
Least favorite thing: I hate how the fandom treats him sometimes, I really do. Like, most says he's too grumpy (even though at most, he's actually just real chill and not frowning, he had smiled, folks). There's the jokes with how quick he is to end it all, which makes me uncomfortable, it does. (Spoiler coming) Calling him a "bitch" and "bum" because he lost the will to fight. Hello, he literally witnessed the deaths of people who has been in his life since forever? He spent his birthday possessed by Sukuna. I would be like him, too! Honestly, a lot of people in fandoms takes thing at face value. They don't just open their eyes and mind and really take in the story and characters.
Favorite line/scene: Gonna be a spoiler here! But I love how later Megumi gets scenes where he travels in the shadows. Like, when he ambushed those guys during the time he and Yuji went to go talk to Kinji. And his fight with Reggie. Also, funniest Megumi like for me is the delivery of "Oh, it's like that?!" when he realizes what Nobara was talking about referring to Yuko. Like, what was up with that, Megumi?
Favorite interaction that character has with another: It's gonna be unfair to say the interactions he has with Yuji, wouldn't it? But those are my favorite interactions, but I also am going to say with Nobara, too. Like, they have grown to be my favorite anime trio because they just vibe so well with each other. I JUST WANT THEM HAPPY!!
A character that I wish that character would interact with more: Maki and Mai. He has scenes with Maki, but I would like more and I wished there had been scenes with Mai. Those three have been through it with the Zenin clan.
Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character: ... okay, Megumi actually doesn't remind me of anybody. Like, no one comes to mind at this moment for me. I know someone is probably reading this and going "Sasuke" but uh... we'll get to that later.
A headcanon about that character: I headcanon that Megumi likes light colors. Sometimes, he just likes a little color in his life, so he does wear other colors that aren't black. Hence his blue track suit. I feel like pink would grow to be his favorite color because of Yuji's hair color, who is like, sunshine personified. (Warm and inviting, but also dangerous.) He sees the color and is reminded how good of a person his friend is and how there's still some bit of good in the world.
A song that reminds of that character: Maybe it's the vibes, but Fujii Kaze's Shinunoga E-Wa gives me Megumi. Like, I feel like that would be a song on his playlist.
An unpopular opinion about that character: Just like with Nobara and Sakura, I very much have came to dislike the "Megumi is JJK's Sasuke". He's just not to me, I'm sorry. I think Megumi and I don't see Sasuke. The only similarities they have is being black haired boys. Like, I don't see Megumi trying to kill his older siblings. Trying to save her actually. He ain't trying to kill Itadori and he's not angry all the time, he's capable of being showing other emotions. Like... I just really came to hate the Naruto-JJK similarities. Like the series don't even feel the same story wise! Acting like Naruto is the only series that can have trio teams... like stoooop.
Favorite picture: Honestly, love it when it just goes "fuck it" and let's loose. He deserves it. Also, them lashes!!
