Internal Nyah Survey Results

In Late-2017, some of Team Nyah were surveyed about what they thought about the current direction of the Nyah Has an Adventure project and various things surrounding it. Below is a summary of their responses.

On how much the team really know about Project Nyah itself:

Most respondents acknowledge that:

Nyah was originally a creation of @the-f0x​,

@neonwabbit​ (me) tried to start some weird comics and videos about the character

An animated series involving the character is currently in production.

One respondent’s only answer to this question was the supplied thought that “Nyah is just a character that says ‘Nyah’ a lot, and that’s supposed to be hilarious for some reason”.

Other answers that were written in by the surveyed team members to this question included:

“F I S H   V O R T E X”,

“It should be a 3D animation, not 2D”,

and “Nyah is sexy.”

On the weird Nyah comics / joke videos having a completely different story / plot to the animated series:

Half of the respondents claim they know the upcoming animated series will be completely different to the earlier comics and joke videos, while the other half did not.

One respondent wrote in to say that they don’t know why they’re still being tagged with this “Nyah shit”.

On the fact that Nyah hatched from an egg in the comics VS. Nyah having a natural birth as a tadpole in the animated series being enough to help separate the comic universe from the animated universe:

There was again a even split between “yes” and “no”, but one team member wrote in to say “I have absolutely no idea what this question is talking about.”

On Nyah’s character actually being an illegal parasite using a human host body:

Half the team members were okay with this idea, while the other half said “WTF”.

On if Nyah should be able to ever speak English instead of just saying her own name all the time:

Most team members were not OK with Nyah speaking English.

On the amount of gore in the final episode of the series where Nyah dies due to being thrown in front of a train:

Most team members responded: “As many blood and guts should fly everywhere as possible, covering everyone and everything.”

On how Nyah survives her impact with the train in Nyah Has a Movie, which takes place after the final episode of the animated series:

Most team members correctly guessed that Nyah survives this way: “Her tadpole parasite form is separated from her human host body, and she has to quickly find another host before she dries up and dies for real.”

On whether the Nyah franchise should include references to sex and other mature themes:

Most team members responded positively, while one team member said that any character that has sex should slowly die due to a disease.

On whether Nyah is smart or not:

The majority of team members responded: “She is only very smart in some things, but not in others”. Other responses included:

“She has zero I.Q. and she is on drugs 24/7″

“Nyah should be as dumb as a blonde girl”

On whether characters can swear in the Nyah franchise:

Responses included:

“Yes I fucking love swearing”

“Fuckin' Oath Mate 100%”

“Nyah should be considered a swear word”

“Yes, but only extremely rarely, like once or twice every 10 episodes.”

and “tbh any of these would be great XD”

On what Nyah’s last English words should be in the “abridged” version of the Nyah animated series:

Responses included:

On whether the Nyah team members would actually help me make the Nyah animated series a reality: 

Mostly disinterest for now, with the exception of some people wanting to make additional characters for the show.

On whether the abandoned Nyah comics and/or joke videos were any good:

They were.

On whether the Nyah team members had any additional ideas for the Nyah franchise:
