I often end up feeling alone when I start to speak about such things. Because people either ship the opposite of what I think is right ( sn is more popular for some bizarre reason) or claim to don't mind the dynamic ( while in fact preferring the most popular one). Sometimes they even imply that it's wrong to prefer a specific dynamic "because real people are not like that". While in real life most gay people just like hetero people have the preferred position.

I, personally, have a pairings where I tolerate switch dynamic but still have a preferred one. But in those pairings the thing that makes it possible for me is the fact that the characters are both on the somewhat equal footing. There's no psychological or social imbalance between them.

But things like ns or hsmd? No. Clear top/bottom positions to me.

There's even sun/moon symbolism there...

Also, even if irl it's was they say, we're talking about fictional characters...specifically, fictional characters with supernatural powers, in a fantasy universe. If they can summon magic animals and direct black flames with their eyes, can't they be only bottoms as well? Just sayin'.

And ofc there are the fake switch shippers, who claim they like both but you can clearly see they prefer one, which suspiciously is always the wrong one. They all ship SN but they claim they're open and woke and cool so they like SNS. F*ck them tbh.

To think that sun/moon yin/yang should have closed all sort of discussion about top/bottom right? NS and HSMD (which I assume it's hashimada) are pretty clear...and there are many others who are pretty clear, after all if a character like Sas has clearly a passive/yang personality and one like NAr has an assertive/yin personality it's almost impossible to see them in a different 'role'. For me, thinking about top Sas is really OOC. Others can switch, like Kakaobi where I too switch preference for one or the other lol, not being a big fan of the pairing anyway so I go with the mood of the fanart I'm looking at. Or, say, rare pairings as Tobirama/Madara who both give me bottom vibes so who knows. Like you said, when the pairing is really equal I get the switching (even in Shiita I kinda get it) but NS, Hashimada, and all pairings with a power inbalance are clear. And those ppl are wrong.

Whatever the final result of this poll gonna be, I read so many arguments against SNS using the fact they are married but nobody talking about how bad those mariages how. Also, people love to act like thats not a common thing for queer people to marry the opposite gender to avoid discrimination. tbh I haven't delved into the arguments used in this poll but you are so right. leaving aside the people that are just in denial or just homophobic, I also think ppl not in the naruto fandom, or just casual watchers, consume media passively. they see an official artwork of the nh or ss family together and they're like 'yup that checks out'. otherwise, how can anyone read gaiden/boruto and then conclude that sns are happily married? I mean sasuke dipped for 12 years. naruto is always working and even avoids important family events, sleeps on the couch, and has a bad relationship with his son cuz of it. sasuke ignores cherry blossom girl. nh don't display any meaningful interactions on screen. is this what people think constitutes a good marriage?

Connections with each-other

1) boruto is actually sasuke's son. The make up crew tries their best to make sure boruto looks more like naruto instead of sasuke. Boruto actually looks strikingly like his father only with blonde hair. He was given the role because during the prologue of the naruto series and beginning of the sequal. He was the only blond haired child actor they could fit in and also they liked his name to much.

This is the soul reason why they wrote sasuke as boruto's sensei. And why their dialogue's comes out more as fatherly and sonly.

Fun fact boruto was named after naruto's the anime. As the show made a huge impact on sasuke's life. His son getting the main role in the sequel was a sweet treat.

2) himawari is hinata's neice. Considering she has blue eyes, hinata recomented her to the director. After an audition she was casted as her daughter.

3) inojin and houki are actually Rin's sons. Inojin looked like ino. Thus was named after her. Ino and rin are best friends irl. During auditions for the sequel, both the brothers tried to get role and both got it.

4) shikadai is shikamaru's actual son.

5) code is karin's cousin brother.

6) sarada is actually itachi's daughter.

7) sakura and ino are married irl.

8) rock Lee and Metal Lee are brothers actually. Metal is the oldest in the boruto cast. He is just really short.

9) neji and tenten are also married irl. Rented couldn't have children. So the first adopted a boy.

10) mitsuki is their adopted boy.

Personalities of the new team 7

1) boruto is pretty sweet and shy. He does what he is being told. Gets really red if someone teases him. After shoot it done, mostly is found with his father or kawaki.

2) kawaki is the opposite of his character. He jokes around a lot. Most of the times breaking character on set and making others laugh. He flirts with boruto alot. Just to make him red. Then immediately gets glared by sasuke because of that.

3) sarada is really calm and collected. After shoots she is mostly found hanging with the staff. Or with her father who is behind the scenes talking with his friends.

4) mitsuki is the closest to his character, always smiling. Only talks if you start talking but he is genuinely nice to talk to.

Thank you it always annoys me that people shit on Deku for wanting to save shiggy after he saw him being control but don’t give the same criticism to shouto or uraraka if dabi wasn’t his brother he wouldn’t even think of saving him and uraraka saw toga cry (hero don’t kill but they have no qualm putting people in jail it realistic in a sense people are willing to help out if it affects them in real life can be hori writing but call a spade a spade here if Deku get criticized so should the others

Yeah, it's one of my biggest complaints about, not the manga, but the fandom. When chapter 305 came out, the complaints was "Deku should struggle more!" Which is valid! Then, as time went on and on, that same exact crowd started saying "The kids aren't sympathetic enough and they HAD to see them suffering in order to care 🙄." Which...would have been valid if the complete opposite critique wasn't being screamed by the same crowd a year earlier.

Midoriya needed to see that Shigaraki was hurting. He still doesn't know the reasons behind Shigaraki's actions (but he will, I'm sure), but he knows it's not "just for fun". Which is what he told Shigaraki he thought about him when they spoke to each other at the mall. (personally I hope he remembers that conversation pretty soon and realizes those words may have stung lol)

Ochacko made Toga cry and began to wonder WHY she would cry in that situation. Because that's not a usual reaction in a war when you're attacking someone for what on the surface is seemingly no reason.

Touya showed that Endeavor's abuse led to something as extreme as Dabi. It didn't go that way for Shouto, so Shouto had to start wondering where and how it could have gone so horribly wrong for his brother.

They needed wake up calls. Something to open their eyes so they COULD learn.

This is the one time I'm going to back up the argument people like to use "This isn't Naruto!" Because for this comparison, it is not.

These kids started off the manga with the old-timer mindset. Catching and punishing villains, because they're hurting innocent people and they need to be stopped, and locked away. Simple!

But there is more behind that, and that is where the learning curve comes. They didn't start off like Naruto who was always ready to save Sasuke, literally no matter how much worse Sasuke got. These kids had to have a catalyst that shook their perspective and made them think "Wait, we're missing something. Maybe we should try something different." Which is generally how people open their minds up to new issues irl too.

The endgame idea for the manga is that heroes save no matter what, that people should be saved no matter what. In order for this idea to be delivered, each of the kids and villains were given personalized circumstances to create the change in mindsets in the characters necessary to bring this idea to fruition in-manga.

Kids--->bad minset

Villains--->show kids that not everything is what it seems

Kids--->start to shift to good mindset

Villains--->get what they need as a result

BUT--I do agree that this "struggle to decide what to do" mindset is not being portrayed particularly well. Or like, it is sometimes, and then other times it's not. I agree it's wishy washy at times. But I think shitting on the hero kids, specifically Midoriya! is a bullshit "critique" lol.

The critique that the kids aren't learning or acting quick enough is dumb as it is, but specifically as said here by @/helga-grinduil, in comparison to someone like All Might who literally HAD that eye opener the earliest out of everyone in the story, who still continued to do nothing with the information he got, I'd say they're um, doing a pretty good job.

Naruto couldn’t help himself — the hokages personal assistant. The minute he laid eyes on you he knew this was a mistake, and yet he couldn’t bring himself to release you from the position. Shikamaru was down his throat enough as it is — he wasn’t getting through the paper work fast enough so help was needed. If he knew Shikamaru would recruit you, his old fling that no know was aware of, he would’ve denied the need for help immediately.

He remembers the day you walked into his office, smile bright as always and alluring. You were well liked among the village; it was hard for people to dislike you, you were just one of those people. The air left his throat when you walked through the door, there was no hostility between you two — it was more like things were left unfinished.

Throughout the years you two spent part, Naruto built a beautiful family with a wife he loved; Hinata Hyuga. The ever dotting housewife, although he couldn’t help but feel like something was missing. Their relationship lacked passion. As time past he felt that their marriage was just a duty they were fulfilling. The last time they were intimate was years ago when conceiving Himawari.

Naruto was reluctant on having you as his assistant. Seeing you again brought up old feelings, that he needed to bury once again. He thought about how much earlier he would able to return home, how much more time he would be able to spend with his family; increasing the strength of their bond. He agreed solely for these reasons. Things were running smoothly up until the three month mark of you working for him.

The sun had already set, yawns fleeing Naruto every other minute. His shoulders were tense and his back ached from sitting in his chair all day. You were seated on the opposite side of him, zooming through your pile of paper work. Taking a break, Naruto watched you — you were more beautiful than he could remember. Adulthood treated you right in all the right ways, aging you like fine wine; he couldn’t help but appreciate it.

Realizing what he was doing Naruto shook away the thoughts — you have a wife and two children at home what are you doing, he thought to himself. Noticing his discomfort you averted your eyes from your paperwork his agitated figure. “Is something wrong?” He took note of the concern in your tone and gave you awkward smile. “I’m fine it’s nothing really” Not believing him for a second you raised your eyebrow at him.

Lifting his arm up, Naruto reached it behind his head, scratching his neck . “Seriously I’m fine my back just hurts” At this you raised from your seat, circling around him. Naruto choked up realizing you were approaching him. “What - What are you doing?”

Giving him an reassuring smile you placed your hands on his shoulders. “Relax I’m just helping relive some tension” Nodding Naruto turned forward, slumping his shoulders. Although you two barely kept in contact Naruto still saw you as a friend, so there was no harm in you giving him a back rub. After 15 minutes of silence you spoke up. “You know Naruto I really missed you, I forgot how nice it was to be in your company” your tone was nothing but light, but it felt heavy.

Turning around Naruto stood up and faced you, placing on hand on your shoulder, a bashful look took over his features. “I want to apologize for not keeping in contact. It’s just...” You didn’t need him to continue, you understood what he meant. You and Naruto used to be — what you could call friends with benefits. From your knowledge no one knew about the situation between the two of you.

When Naruto wanted to take it to the next level, you refused; you didn’t want to be in a relationship. You were scared, thoughts of him eventually leaving you for someone better shook you to the core.

After arguing about it for hours you came to a mutual understanding. Never voicing your true reason, Naruto accepted the fact you didn’t want to further your relationship, it crushed him — he wasn’t the only one. The two of you remained friends for a short time before slowly drifting apart, once he started dating his now wife.

So yes, you understood why it was difficult for him to keep in touch with you. After realizing his hand had been on your shoulder for too long Naruto went to remove it. Going against his brain and following his heart he instead slid it down your arm taking hold of your hand and pulling you into. Catching you off guard you stumbled into his chest. The air in your lungs was knocked out the moment you met his gaze.

“Naruto, we - we shouldn’t do this” Pushing a misplaced strand of your hair back behind your ear he nodded. “Yeah you’re right”

Instead of removing yourself, you found comfort in arms; oh how you missed this. Cupping your cheek Naruto pulled you into a longing kiss. His lips were slightly chapped, yet so soft. Pulling back to gawk at your reaction, Naruto was quckily pulled back in to a needy kiss; tongues overlapping and teeth clashing.

Pushing you against his desk, you blindly reached behind you swatting the piles of paper away; scattering them across the floor. Without breaking the kiss Naruto lifted you on his desk. Heavy panting filled the room as both of you shedded articles of clothing off of each other.

Top 5 Characters I HATE That Everyone Else LOVES

There are characters that you find that really just pop for you. You see their designs, hear their voices, become enchanted with their stories. You want to follow them and see where it all leads. You just love spending time with these characters.

This is the opposite.

These are the least favorite ingredients in your favorite dish. Every time they come on the screen, you groan. You whine, piss, and moan. Or more specifically, I do. I’d love to change the channel and do anything else than watch stories with these characters. Problem is they’re usually in some of my favorite shows. 

And the worse part is, I’m the only one who thinks so. Everyone else can’t seem to get enough of these guys. Because of their popularity, they won’t leave me the hell alone. Constant fan art, edits, long essays about how great they are, topping polls, being in WatchMojo lists, etc. So here are the top five characters I hate, but everyone else seems to love.

RULES: These characters have to have fanbases that greatly outnumber the people who dislike them. If they do have a well know hatedom, that doesn’t count. If they do and they’re on the list, it just means I personally haven’t heard of them.

DISCLAIMER: Despite the title, I’m not here to pick a fight. If a character you like is on this list, that’s kinda the point. Don’t @ me. Don’t get triggered. And most importantly of all, please don’t try to argue with me. If the show they came from couldn’t get me to like these characters, some text on the internet isn’t going to have better luck. That’s their fault. Not yours. I repeat, this list is NOT a personal attack on you. I just need to get this bullshit out of my brain so I don’t keep thinking about it.

5. Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto)

I don’t like it when people are given a free pass for being horrible human beings and I don’t like it in characters either. I haven’t personally heard any rumblings from the Naruto fandom, but I remember back in the day, everyone loved Sasuke. No matter how many times he tried to kill the heroes, they were still more than ready to welcome him back. His heel-face turn was because he didn’t know the meaning of empathy? Give me a break. But everyone gives him a pass because...edgy boys?

First he was a terrible teammate. Then he was a terrible husband. Now he’s a terrible father. He’s just...terrible.

4. Nino Lahiffe (Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir)

No deep meaning for this one. I hate his stupid design. I hate his stupid voice (Diskin!). I hate his stupid actions. I hate that he’s paired with Alya. I just don’t like him. But evidently I’m the only one who has a problem with him.

Just call it personal taste.

3. Tom Lucitor (Star vs the Forces of Evil)

This is a big one for me. Again, I hate it when people give characters a free pass for doing something terrible. Tom wanted to curse his ex-girlfriend Star into loving him (and all that it entails, including sex) without her knowledge, will or consent for the rest of her natural born life and I’m the only one who’s upset about it. And that was plan A. Plan B was to exploit her fears about becoming queen. 

And he still gets her back for 544 days IRL. Too damn long. If someone tried to force you to love them, I bet you’d give them more than just a punch in the shoulder. But no, he gets a free pass because (again) edgy boys. Fuck edgy boys and fuck you for liking them.

2. Tina Belcher (Bob’s Burgers)

This one is just like the Nino one but taken up to eleven. The only other thing I can add to this entry is my confusion. I get that other people wouldn’t have a problem with Nino because he’s relatively harmless, but with Tina, I’m just confused. You all like this? Like, a lot? I don’t get it, and I don’t want to.

Blake Belladona (RWBY)

I don’t like RWBY, but I did love Yang. She was my #1 waifu for a good long time. But then the fanbase shipped her with Blake who is just the worst. She’s whiny. She runs away from all her problems. For the longest time, I couldn’t stand that so many people cosplayed as him. I decided to see what the big deal was since SAO was anime of the year at the time.Seriously people? 

‘Check me out everyone. I’m just your average guy, but all the girls want to have sex with me because I’m so good at video games. Oppai, loli, and everyone in between. They all pine over me because I was a beta tester.’ 

I’ve heard of stupid reasons for a harem, but this tops it. It’s a harem show pretending to be an action show. And pretending is just another word for lying. Luckily as time passes other people has seen how terrible he is, but man that was a trying few years.

1. Katsuki Bakugo (My Hero Academia)

I don’t get it. He’s the biggest asshole in the world. Yet, you all are okay with it. He told the main character to kill himself in the first episode. You all are okay with it. He called Uraraka fuckstick. Yet, you ship him with her. He has the worst attitude. You are all okay with it. You like it. You like this? I guarantee you if anyone treated you this way IRL, you wouldn’t like it.

Pretty much everything up to the end of Shippuden pretty much remained canon, though I had dropped Naruto at some point so there’s huge chunks of the story I don’t know, and I’ve had people fill me in--so secondhand story is just about as effective as a game of telephone. Anyway, directly the end of Naruto, before he leaves Konoha on his ‘redemption journey’ is when it starts getting divergent. It definitely is whenever he returns to Konoha.

What inspired you to RP your muse?  

The end of Naruto completely rubbed me the wrong way. No mention of any changes in the system. I created the blog out of sheer spite and loathing for the ending, and my opinion has not changed in the least.

What keeps your inspiration going?

Honestly, my inspiration has been waning, but that’s all irl stuff. It also doesn’t help that most of the Naruto rpers I was following are disappearing. But, I just gotta start thinking about Sasuke, about his past, his motivations, the things he’s gone through. If I have a daily reminder of that, it usually helps.

Oh I know there’re plenty of Sasuke haters out there. I’ve seen complete hate groups for him, come across a few irl and on other sites. I’d say I’m numb to it by now, but that’d kinda be a lie? I’m used to it, but I’ve also learned to keep scrolling.

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors?

Not exactly? I mean yeah, it’d help me improve my writing, but I guess it depends on how they tell me. I’m already aware of a few grammatical errors I tend to make: switching tenses...I also tend to use fragmented sentences a lot. Though that one might be more stylistic writing? idk man.

Do you think you are easy going as a mun?

I’d like to think so! Though I’ve had people tell me I’m intimidating...I swear guys, I’m pretty chill. People have told me(after we finally start talking) that I’m pretty friendly!

If you don't mind me asking why is Sasuke so enraged in your lawyer fic? And why did Sakura just punch Sasuke if she ended up being sensual towards him in the end? I'm just a little confused because I saw an anti-SS talking about how your fic was "an example of how abusive sasusaku is", but I don't believe that one bit because your writing is so respectful towards the couple. :(

Did an anti legit take my AU fic to bash sasusaku? I can’t omg wow that’s so fucking funny.

But as for your questions: 

a) Sasuke in this fic is kind of hilariously all over the place. He’s pissed about his case and having to deal with such an intolerable asshole as a client, pissed that his dad made him take it. He’s then pissed that he has a newbie (or so he thinks) as his opposition, and then later on even more pissed once she proves him wrong (which he hates being wrong) and that humiliates him. And then he’s also ridiculously attracted to her too??? He just has no idea how to deal with his many conflicting feelings. And as many IRL people tend to do when they have no idea what they’re feeling, he reacts with a lot of anger and confusion. While it isn’t healthy to react this way, it is normal. And also far from abusive, if you actually know the fucking definition of abuse in the first place LOL. 

b) Sakura punched him because he legitimately assaulted her with that kiss. I think any woman with half the back bone Sakura has would have reacted the same. Especially if, as is the case in this fic, the guy pretty much blatantly insinuates he only did it to prove you wrong. This, too, isn’t abusive so idk where that anti even got that from (oh wait, I know--it’s because they actually don’t know the definition of abuse). 

That being said, they are both attracted to each other. Sparks flew off from her side too, and just because he was a dick that one time he kissed her to prove her wrong doesn’t mean she can’t catch on later on that he’s just ridiculously attracted to her and they have mad sexual chemistry. He did a stupid thing, which I explicitly expressed him knowing this in the fic because it was a very stupid thing, but that doesn’t have to be the end-all-be-all in a relationship if both parties realize that, well, it was a stupid mistake. 

Like, honestly. As someone who has studied psychology and who takes abuse very seriously, I think you can trust that I’ll never romanticize abuse in any of my pieces. That anti shipper can stay mad all they want, they can’t force that idea being in my fic.

I am still absolutely dying of laughter though that antis now use fanfics of all things to “prove how abusive sasusaku is” as if the fics were canon material from Kishi.

It takes more than a little time to adjust.

And not just to Konoha itself, but...to village life. For over three years, Sasuke hasn’t really had a place to call home. There was Orochimaru’s lair, sure...but that wasn’t a home, or a proper town. It was a maze of rooms and hallways, subterranean, lit only by torches with air both stale and tense. It had been a place to stay. To train. But not to live.

Then he’d killed the snake sannin...or, one piece of him. Sadly, he didn’t finish the job...though he’d had his uses further down the road.

And that left him...well, not homeless, but without a place to rest. No walls. No roof. No doors to shut on the world when he wanted. He took to the road with his new team...and never looked back. Transitory, transient, he had no place to tie him down. More often than not, they’d bed down in the trees off the roadside each night of their journey, with only the boughs and the stars over their heads.

He wouldn’t admit it, but...those were some of his favorite times after leaving Konoha behind.

There’s a certain peace in the woods. An isolation, but not loneliness. Surrounded only by sounds of the environment, the animals, the trees. Insects would buzz in the quiet, water would flow, a breeze gently rustling the limbs of the forest.

So, when things just become...too much, Sasuke retreats back to that wood. Back to the silence broken only company he neither sees, nor seeks.

Konoha is still reeling after the war. Politics and politicians are abuzz like a rattled wasp nest. And Sasuke knows things will only get worse once they move in on the council in search of Itachi’s pardon, and the revelation of the Uchiha Massacre’s truth. Only then, with her shadows brought to light, can Konoha begin to heal. Truly, and deeply this time. Never again will they allow those who abuse their power into such positions. He may not be able to change the world...but Sasuke will do his damnedest to change his home.

Into something better.

...but not today.

Today, he hides away in the deeper parts of Hi no Kuni’s forests. Back against a trunk, he keeps one leg flat against the grass, the other bent at the knee to rest his new arm. Even now, he’s still conditioning the regenerated muscles to the strain of use. But for now, all he needs to do is doze in the dappled Spring sunlight that fights its way through boughs to the forest floor.

Birdsong serenades him, dueting with a nearby creek. Insects rattle and hum in a nearby bush, the wind singing softly in the leaves.

...and then...footsteps.

A single dark eye opens, but only just. They’re a ways off yet, not quite in his line of sight. Light and cautious, they’re nonetheless unhidden. Whoever it is, they’re not trying to sneak up on him...or if they are, they’re doing a piss poor job. More than likely, they’ve no idea he’s even here.

Watching idly as ears help place their location, there’s a blink as a growingly-familiar form then steps out from between the trees. Hyūga. The elder main branch sister. Otherwise known as Hinata, though they aren’t exactly on first name terms. Or rather, he isn't. She still calls him Sasuke-kun. He just calls her - and the rest of them - Hyūga. His manners aren’t exactly top form.

She seems to be looking for something. Not moving, he decides to wait and see how long it takes her to notice him. In one hand she clutches a jar, Byakugan active...but not looking his way. A brief consideration leaves him guessing she’s likely looking for an insect for her Aburame teammate. Slowly her head turns, scanning her surroundings before tensing. Eyes flicker in their sockets as she watches, slowly stalking forward...until with a snap, she claps the lid to the rim of the jar. Peering in, her shoulders relax.

Apparently, she got it.

“Konbanwa, Sasuke-kun.”

He blinks. Huh...apparently she did know he was here. Must have seen him earlier in her search. “Hyūga.”

There’s an ever-present sigh. “You really don’t have to call me that, you know. I’m just fine with you using my given name.”

Sasuke doesn’t answer. In truth, he doesn’t feel close enough to her yet to use it. Though...just because he hasn’t yet doesn’t mean he will. Making friends isn’t exactly his priority. And given how closely the Hyūga have been working with him, his brother, and his cousin...he’s not exactly eager to spend any more time with any of them.

...though her company, out of them all, is probably the most tolerable.

Screwing on the hole-peppered lid tightly, she approaches, giving just a hint of a smile. “...enjoying the afternoon…?”

“Taking a break from people.” No sense beating around the bush with her.

“I do the same...it’s so peaceful out here. Though...I guess I’m intruding, aren’t I?”

Rather than answer her question, he dodges by asking her one in turn. “What were you catching?”

“Oh! Well...there’s a beetle Shino-kun has been looking for, so...I thought I’d use a free day to look for one.” She holds out the jar. “It’s a yamatotamamushi.”

A brow perks at the name.

“They’re a very pretty green color, with red stripes!” Coming a bit closer, she crouches and offers the glass. “He wants one for a terrarium he’s making.”

Not exactly a fan of insects (though also not repulsed), Sasuke gives her a glance before gingerly accepting it. Within, marching along the bottom, is the very bug she described. Turning the jar, its color shifts and shimmers.

“Huh...guess it’s sort of pretty.”

“I thought so!” Hinata chirps in reply. “Hopefully he likes it - he’s on a mission today, so...I can’t show him until tomorrow. But it should make for a n-nice surprise.” Carefully, she tucks the little jar into the pouch clipped to her thigh.

Silence falls.

“...well, I guess I should give you your privacy back, ne?” Hinata straightens her legs, stretching a bit. “It’s such a pretty day...I’m glad I didn’t end up with an assignment. And Neji-nīsan is training Hanabi this afternoon. That left me with a rather open schedule, though...I guess now that I caught the beetle, I should probably head back.”

“Not going to stay and enjoy the weather?”

Looking to him, a tinge of surprise alights her face. “...well, I don’t want to interrupt…”

“It’s not like you’re out here making a ruckus.” Much like either of his teammates would be, were they here. “Pretty sure you know better than most of our year how to just sit and be quiet.”

There’s a blink, and then Hinata giggles into the cuff of a sleeve. “Well...most, but not all.” Pale eyes glance around. “...well, I...suppose I can stay for a bit.”

“Have at it.”

After a brief pause, she takes a few steps to another nearby trunk, settling against it facing opposite her new companion. Arms hug her knees to her chest, staring up into the limbs above her.

Sasuke watches her for a moment before settling back with a sigh, eye closing.

...maybe some company won’t hurt.

     Whoops, another late night! Today was very busy irl, and tomorrow likely will be too...but hey, I got things done!      It took me longer than it should have that wood doesn't have to mean a PIECE of wood, but...woodS, too xD Hence having a little tranquil moment with Sasuke and Hinata both. He honestly never thought he’d make it this far.

As a child, he’d declared his intentions to restore his clan. Of course, back then, he’d not been fully aware of how precisely to go about it. At twelve he knew the basics of family-making. The A to B of it. But he’d had no plan - no one who meant enough to him to consider making his - eugh - wife. He’d simply assumed that, when the time came, something would work out.

Then everything began to go awry.

Sasuke’s detour into Orochimaru’s tutelage hadn’t been expected. Nearly three years of his life spent after abandoning Konoha alone, save for the other underlings the serpent sannin had acquired.  And when he was no longer useful, Orochimaru was tossed aside, and new sources of power taken up. Hebi - later Taka - was...a difficult thing to put into words. They weren’t his team from Konoha. Nor did he really want them to be. He had a mission, and they were to be tools to accomplish it. Yet despite his best intentions, they still grew to be a cohesive squad...and though he would never admit to it, they grew to mean something to him. But nothing like what he needed for a clan. Karin and her infatuation were...off-putting. He could never picture them as a couple, so he disregarded her.

Reuniting with Sakura after the war was...awkward. It was clear she viewed him in a different light. Not that he could blame her after everything he did. She tread on eggshells despite insisting she was still in love with him. The whole thing seemed far too contradictory, so she too was scratched off his imaginary list.

...though at that point, he really wasn’t sure why he had one anymore. He felt...different. Everything he’d gone through - everything he’d done - made him question if such a normal life would ever be possible. He’d done terrible things in the name of what he thought was right...when in the end, he was largely wrong.

True, the shinobi world had much to atone for - much to change. But he’d gone about it all wrong.

For a time, he’d buried himself in missions, thinking that the high-ranking assignments would help him feel...useful. Like he was making up for his mistakes and helping create the better world he wanted for his - for...future generations. But even that seemed empty.

So instead, he rebuilt the police force. Rebranded it, and called upon his Hyūga allies. Together, the wielders of the village’s most powerful eyes kept watch from within, while his brother and the ANBU did so beyond the walls. He began to reconnect with people again. They grew familiar to him, and he in turn to them. Trust slowly built between the remnants of the Uchiha, and the people of Konoha.

And one person he found himself unable to avoid was Hinata.

No longer heiress, she instead focused on her shinobi career. A jōnin not long after the war’s end, her own tasks grew higher in rank. But with her clan becoming a significant part of the village’s safety, she eventually decided to give it a try.

As chief, it was his task to initiate her. And she did well - far better, admittedly, than he expected. So she too joined the ranks of the force’s officers. Curious, though he would never admit it, he took a few tasks alongside her, just to see how she would do.

Her compassion yet sturdy morals made for a perfect policewoman. Understanding to those who needed help, and unforgiving to those suspected of wrongdoing. The line she drew between the two was well kept.

It impressed him.

But more so was her ability to see him just...as a person. No one special. She treated him with respect for his rank, but nothing else. There were no sidelong glances, as though wondering if he were going to suddenly snap. Though not intimately trusting off the bat, she grew to work with him well, and soon the pair could read one another’s movements and react fluidly, like extensions of the other.

It was that, more than anything, that caught his attention.

He asked to spend some time with her outside a shift. She agreed. It’d been a quiet afternoon, but still speckled with conversation. They quickly discovered parallels in their pasts and paths. Sasuke found himself eager to know more, and she seemed just as curious.

Neither could say exactly when it happened, but it wasn’t long before friendship bloomed into something...different.

And it was then Sasuke knew that - maybe, just maybe - he’d changed enough to give the future he’d imagined as a child another chance.

To everyone’s surprise, their courtship was rather short. They’d grown so accustomed to one another, it seemed pointless to wait. So a mere four years after the war, and less than two since becoming comrades under the police force banner, Uchiha Sasuke married Hyūga Hinata.

And it was only a few months after that, they discovered she was with child.

It had seemed almost...surreal. A child’s naive dreaming over a decade ago was becoming a reality. The clan was growing again. Scarcely able to believe it, he was hit with even more surprising news at a later checkup.

They were having twins.

Agreeing to let the sexes be a surprise, both seemed almost unbelieving. True, her father had been a twin, but Hinata hadn’t expected to have them herself. It would be the second pair in her husband’s clan now.

And it’s now that Sasuke holds his wife’s hand, taking every bone-breaking grip as she works to bring them at last to the world beyond her womb.

The white-haired medic wastes no time or effort, helping speed along the process until two wailing voices filled the birthing suite.

One boy, and one girl. Both with feathery wisps of dark hair...and mismatched eyes, mirrored gazes.

Unprepared for names, the pair decide to wait and think. Once the babes are cleaned and returned to their mother, Sasuke stares with an intense, one-eyed gaze as his hitai-ate covers the Rinnegan. He hadn’t even taken time to change from his gear upon hearing Hinata had been admitted.

“...which do you want to hold first?”

Flickering between them, he wordlessly takes up the boy. A dark eye sits in the left socket, and a pale in the right: opposite his sister. He’d wondered how the bloodlines would interact, but...he’d never expected this.

Letting her daughter nurse, Hinata watches him with a soft, warm smile. Sweat-soaked bangs cling to her brow, dark circles beneath her eyes. As soon as the pair have had their fill, it’s clear she’ll need her rest. “...what are you thinking, Sasuke…?”

His head slowly shakes. “...I can’t...begin to tell you.”

“...are you happy?”

“...more than I could ever say.” Looking up, his expression is so unguarded, he almost looks as childlike as he did when still a genin, eyes alight with both wonder...and perhaps a bit of fear. “...it hasn’t really...sunk in yet. But…” He looks back to his son. “...it’s like...the empty spaces in my chest are...full again.”

His wife softens. “...I’m glad.”

“...thank you...Hinata…”

Is Sakura “super heroic”? Maybe that’s a bit of an overstatement, but all she ever wanted was to save her friend from his hatred, that doesn’t make her a bad person.

If any of you would just for once, actually try to learn the definition of feminism, you’d see how silly you look when you try to use this ideology against Sakura - Nothing she has ever done goes against feminism.

In terms of their actual relationship, neither Sasuke nor Sakura have suffered any physical mistreatment from the other, so why do some of you constantly bring up this “domestic violence” and “abuse” drivel as if that can even be applied to their relationship? Unless you want to tell me you think that little girls will try to liken their already established relationships to that of two people fighting on opposite sides of a war.

For you to call Sasuke a “bad boy” already tells me all I need to know regarding your understanding of his character.

When exactly has Sasuke’s smirk ever served as a “thank you”? You wanna know what Sasuke says when he wants to thank someone?

And guess what, those are the only two canonical instances where Sasuke has thanked someone. And look who he was talking to on both occasions…

Try rereading the manga and getting a better grasp of the story before you try to relate it to your standards of reality, because the plot is rife with examples of people going to wholly unrealistic lengths in order to save someone, with Naruto himself being by far the biggest advocate of this, but I wonder where his hate is?

Why Do I Ship BoruSara

WARNING: Pro-BoruSara, if you are an anti/hater and you still read this then don’t blame me if you get triggered. I already warned you, not my fault. Learn to stay in your lane, mofos.

First of all I want to say sorry anon. I know you’ve been like “WTH Jacq! I’ve seen you online and posting some shit why the fuck are you not answering my question!?!” I know okay? I’m sorry.

The reason why I keep on delaying my answer to this is because I cannot decide whether I’m gonna answer this short or if I’m gonna make a detailed blog about it. Finally, after contemplating for days, I decided to just make it short. I think if I make a detailed blog, it will be long as fuck and never ending since I love the ship so much lmao. No one reads my long ass boring af blogs and try hard short stories anyway (which I make to accompany my drawings sometimes) FeelsBadMan

So what made me ship BoruSara in the first place? I think my answer can be found in most of my previous blogs about them and I will say it again here. The reason I started shipping BoruSara is because I wanted a different approach in romance in the story.

The main ships in first gen was basically: Girl finds the boy cool, falls for him and girl saved by the boy, eventually develops deeper feelings for him. I know they were puppy love at first which grew into real love at the end. I mean I ain’t complaining about that especially my first OTP was one of them, SS. It’s just that I want to move on with this kind of romantic development. We’re in the next generation now! Time for something new!!!

That’s why when I first saw Boruto and Sarada in Chapter 700, I fell in love and shipped them right away. The chemistry was so overflowing I just can’t. I know antis and haters are just blind to see that or just in denial lmao. 

“Why Boruto?! You shipped SS in the first gen. Sasuke was the stoic, mysterious, silent, bad boy type. Boruto is the opposite!!! You should’ve ship Sarada with someone else!!! Our princess doesn’t deserve this annoying loud piece of shit”

Like when I read shoujo mangas before, sometimes I’m all in for the jerk male lead but there will also be times when I fall for the second male lead who is a nice guy. Same goes for here. Again, we’re in the next gen, time for change mofos!

What I also like about him is that he aint some dumb shit. Boruto is smart, he studies well (thanks to his mother) and he is a prodigy. Yeah he was rebellious at first but after the Momoshiki fight, he stopped being a whiny bitch about his dad which I really appreciate a lot. I mean he was just a kid and his dad rarely goes home what do you fucking expect? He’ll understand right away? Even in real life we all know how kids act rebelliously and go emotional whenever they don’t receive enough attention from their parents so I don’t get why people can’t understand that? I mean are we all living in the same planet or what seriously.

The hate about Boruto being super strong and a prodigy is weird as well. First he is the fucking protagonist whether you or I like it or not. Of course he will be the OP one just like in other shounen anime/manga. Second, Boruto is the fucking son of Naruto and Hinata, nephew of Neji, grand son of Minato and Kushina. WHAT DO YOU FUCKING EXPECT FROM THEIR GENES?! WHY ON EARTH WILL THEY PRODUCE A WEAKLING!?! OF COURSE HE’S GONNA BE FUCKING OP. It’s not like it’s Boruto’s fault that he came from a super strong family. He is born this way smh.

I don’t really get this “Sarada is mean to Boruto”. As far as I know, she’s always concern about him. Even from the beginning when Boruto was fighting with Iwabe, it was clear that she was worried, Chou Chou even noticed it. Whenever Boruto gets hurt, Sarada is always the one tending his wounds (ex: during their Mist village field trip and during their first mission as team 7 where she pulled the bandages tighter because she knew Boruto was lying that he was not hurt.) 

Sarada always checks on Boruto, not only because she doesn’t want their team to encounter some trouble but because she doesn’t want Boruto to do something reckless (remember when she nominated him as class field trip leader so she can keep an eye on him). If she’s fucking mean to him and doesn’t give a shit about him, I don’t think she will give a damn to do these things. If this is what being mean is to you then I don’t know what kind of comprehension you guys have lmao.

Alright about Sarada’s words and action towards Boruto. Sarada scolds Boruto obviously because we all know that Boruto is hard headed (still we also know that even if she scolds him or whoever it is, he will still go on his way just like his dad lol) And it’s not like she’s insulting him or saying hurtful words. Most of the time they’re just arguing and I don’t think there is something wrong with that. It’s normal to argue specially when your ideas clash with each other.

How about when she hits Boruto? I don’t know but in real life when we play fight or tease with our friends, we tend to punch or slap each other. BUT of course not as hard as shown in anime because bruh of course in anime it will be super exaggerated for the comedy. Same when for example our friend is about to do something stupid or has done something wrong, sometimes we be like “Bruh why you did that!” then we hit them on the head (again not as hard as shown in the anime cuz we irl) Therefore I just think it’s nothing serious.

Don’t start me with “No Sarada is violent with Boruto!!” Again, this is anime, and that “hitting” is just part of the comedy. If you still gonna go with this stupid reason then what about Temari? She hits both of Shikamaru and Shikadai even with her fucking weapon. Does she SERIOUSLY wanted to hurt or kill them? Of course not, why would she do that to his husband and child. This is all just fucking exaggeration to show how pissed the character is. All animes/mangas do this ffs.

You wanna know what’s more cliche? The fucking male protagonist of the shounen manga/anime falls for that female character who is

Usually weak at the beginning, then will just grow stronger at the end.

The ideal type for most men: The girly girl, shy type with big tits. If you act rough, or you’re boyish with a flat chest, you’re out.

In love with him or already has feelings for him right from the start because he is the coolest guy she ever met or she regards him as her hero.

Sounds familiar? Sounds like Na-ru-to *cough* Fai-ry-Ta-il *cough* Ble-ach *cough* <insert other shounen anime/manga with same shit> 

Hold up your horses! Before you flame and send me hate, I just want to be fucking clear. I am not saying that this kind of romance structure in shounen anime/manga is wrong. I understand that shounen animes/mangas target the male audience that’s why anime/manga creators tend to choose this path most of the time. If you guys like it too that way (in every shounen) it’s fine, we’re cool. It’s just that for me, it gets boring once in a while. Also I am not hating on this type of characters. That’s how the author/creator wanted them to be, I can’t do anything about it.

Why can’t the male protagonist of the shounen manga/anime fall for the female character who is:

Already strong right from the beginning. I don’t get why their female love interests have to be this meek character at the beginning who usually will encounter some kind of trouble where the male lead will save her then only from that time she will realize or be inspired that she needs to be strong to not burden the male lead.

Bold, brave and has a strong personality. I am not saying she has to be necessarily boyish. What I am trying to say is that why is the love interest would always be that shy and timid type? Can’t it be the confident type this time? The one who can fight for herself and what she believes in. The one who is tough, can be rough sometimes but still ladylike all throughout.

Worthy to be called as his rival, on par on his skills and strength. Damsel in distress is so old fashioned! Princess being saved by a prince is nice but come on guys, ain’t it cooler to have a princess who can also fight beside you right from the start?!?!

These are the reasons why I ship BoruSara and why I want them to happen, they just complement each other so perfectly. In addition, I am also a huge sucker for rivals turned into lovers type of love story. I strongly believe that it is waaaaaaaaay better than the plain old love at first sight and boy saves girl shit.
