#the one time ive gotten a role usually relegated for cis men was when i was deeply in the closet #not very many guys auditioned for annie so i . a young and spry and very deeply depressed boy was asked if i was okay with being a guy #of fucking course i was im pretty sure i scared the lady with how enthusiastic i was #that was the first time i wore a suit and i swear to god on stage that was the first time i really felt. like myself because i was a guy #the character i was playing was a guy so people saw me as a guy #but now that im out and dont like being put into female roles i either get shafted to ensamble or dont get in at all #my last two roles were ensamble and very minor character with eight lines of dialogue that was genderswapped to accomodate me #i didnt get into this years musical at all i think which is! really a let down but i dont know what i expected #im a senior though it doesnt matter its not like im ever gonna do this shit again #johnny.pain
