Took these screenshots from the last seconds of the video, but in motion it's even worse. I was worried about the animated photos -that still look bad- but I wasn't prepared for this.

I'm glad any person with functioning eyeballs is currently trying to pop them out of their sockets and slamming Queen Productions in the comments of everything, this is HIDEOUS.

1. Could've paid actual artists instead of a dude with a keyboard (artist specialised in AI my big ass, this sucks even for being AI), Beatles have been making beautiful animated videos for years and got lots of praise.

2. Could've done like the A Kind of Magic video and gather fanarts from fans literally for free and it would've looked gorgeous.

Btw for sure we'll get a video for Mad the Swine as well. Don't let them do this again, Queen music deserves better.

New Mix of “The Night Comes Down” Announces Queen I Collector’s Edition

Queen’s “Night” has never been so bright.

The 2024 mix of “The Night Comes Down” announces the Oct. 25 arrival of Queen I Collector’s Edition, a remixed and expanded edition of the band’s debut album with 63 tracks, including remixes, studio outtakes and live performances.

“Queen I is the debut album we always dreamed of bringing to you,” Brian May and Roger Taylor said in a statement.

The new “Night” sounds more like a remaster than a remix, with much improved fidelity but no immediately apparent aural Easter eggs. It’s the sound of Queen finding its signature, with May hinting at his unique guitar style and the band flirting with the falsetto backgrounds that would become its trademark.

Lucy was high and so was I, Freddie Mercury sings, the lyrics befitting a debut LP and only hinting at how Queen’s reign would unfold.

Check out the brand new official music video for “The Night Comes Down”, a timeless track from their debut album.

“The Night Comes Down” is the first single taken from Queen I, a remastered, remixed, expanded 6-disc box set of the band’s ground-breaking debut album, Queen, and one of the earliest of the band’s recordings to ever appear on an official release.

The track is released physically on 7” October 4 , shortly ahead of the anticipated Queen I box set release on October 25.

Among the band’s legendary tracks, Brian May’s tenderly nostalgic confessional pointed gracefully towards Queen’s future. The glinting guitars of the opening herald a display of Brian’s innovative and layered style, set to become a key element of Queen’s dramatic, grandiose, and orchestrated sound.

Between Freddie Mercury’s exquisite falsetto, John Deacon’s rippling bass, Roger Taylor’s attentive percussion and Brian’s deeply sensitive playing, the young band were here discovering a voice all of their own.

Physical 7” single for release 4 October. Available for pre-order 11th September from Queen Online store ahead October 25 Queen I box set release.

The video features classic images of Queen from the early 1970s, but following a collaboration with an artist specialising in AI, some of those images have been given a whole new dimension. Hopefully, the end result is a sense of what it was like being around the band as their extraordinary journey began.
