This is their second encounter and it's be a couple of month after their first meeting. It was sometime past dusk and and after a day of work and it was finally time to clock out and go home. The night was pleasent despite being somewhat cloudy and there were still people on the streets. Lilah walked to the nearest bus stop with phone in hand talking with a relative. She walked into a part of the city where there were slightly less people on around but kept going her way until a little further on, a familiar red mass caught her eye from the other side of the street, it was the Sir from last time! Same hat and coat. Promising to call later to who sh was speaking to she made her to say hello to the man in red who had his back at her. He became aware of her presence by her loud "Hi!" being shouted at him, gazing to the source to see the same lady he met a few months ago

He acknowledged her with a court nod and Lilah barrage him with questions of "how have you been?", "are you doing well?" and "where'd you disappear off all of a sudden that night"?. She noticed him not taking his sight off the abandoned building in front of them. Gazing at the posters and sign, she saw it was a worn down movie store that he was looking at and almost dejectedly at that. With a little bit of asking and small talk, he made it known it was one of the places he frequented occasionally years ago. The little abandoned shop was a favorite spot for him to drop by every now and then. After some moments of silence between the two the man turned and began leaving, however Lilah stopped him before he was out of sight, telling him he can still find movies online tho he madevit known he didn't use the internet that often (ngl, he doesn't at all). It took a bit of brainstorming for her to remember movie rental machines still are around tho not that common anymore. Proposing to take him to the nearest one if he wanted to. The red man didn't seem to give indication he was interested but he eventually nodded and let her lead the way. Lilah honestly didn't know where was one of those machines but thanks to online maps, they were able to find one quite a few streets away from where they where initially outside a farmacy. On their way there, there's a few things she noted from the man, he's a fan of movies, he's not that much of a talker and there's a faint smell of iron around him. But the second one became to slightly improve and he began talking slightly more than at first, so progress! After quite some time of walking they finally made it to their destination.

Lilah was ecstatic to have found it and the male looked quite curious at the green bright box before him. He asked incredulous if this contraption sold movies. She corrected with "rents out" movies and you have to return them the next day. Tho not keen to having to return again to return a movie, he gave it agreed just for once and approached the machine and just stood there looking at the board with movie selections. After some browsing he turned to her asking what would she recommend as he didn't recognize any of the films but some looked intriguing and after explaining a bit of some of the films he ended up selecting three.

Lilah had to tutor him to use the machine as he looked confused with the touch screen and different options to press on. And after finally finishing, Lilah realized how late it had gotten and had probably missed the bus and opted to call a cab. The man had decided to stay with with her chatting while the ride. After while of chitchat the cab finally arrived they waved goodbye and went their separate ways. It was an entertaining night and little did she know she'd see the tall, red man again, soon. When she arrives at her residence, does she realize she forgot to ask for his name and feels like kicking herself for that 😆
