I may…have gotten into the Akademiya! I passed the entrence exams and got excepted into Ksharewar following in Uncles footsteps!

…the only thing is i havent told anyone except for the students who know me…i wanna keep a low profile from them and also not disappoint dad and father basically leaving my forest ranger background and i dont want to scare uncle with the fear i may turn out like him and go into debt after i graduate eventually

I was thinking of getting into the Amurta darshan of the Akademiya next year! But only next year, because I need to be super-duper smart to even keep up with everyone! It's kinda stressful, but I'm sure you'll do amazing!

The Ksharewar Darshan is really cool! I'm sure no matter what darshan you choose, everyone would be sooo proud of you! And, from what the Tighnari from my dimension always told me...it was mostly the problem with his mindset, not the fact he was an architect.

I think Surya could explain it better...do you know him? He's already in the Spantamand darshan, he could help you adjust there!

He's failing a bit too....but that isn't important!

Niloutpala was walking along the grassy forest, when it overheard Collei and lumine having a conversation. With its very selective hearing, it pouted once it heard Collei was going away.

She stomped towards Collei, crossing her arms at her.

“Collei…Collei no allowed to leave!”

Collei hadn’t seen much of Pala today, which usually meant she was scheming. She assumed it wouldn’t be anything bad, as Nilout would never do anything without good intentions, but it did make her curious.

Eventually, when Collei was least suspecting it, she felt a small tap on her leg. She almost squealed once she saw it.

Nilout was in a makeshift version of her shawl, and had a green wig, mimicking Collei.

“Nara Collei! I’m you!! F-forest ranger Collei, r-reporting for duties..?”

Nilout tried to say her signature line when Collei was greeting newcomers. Nilout looked up to her, smiling innocently.

And a shade she knew very well at that.

Oh, um, Madam Faruzan! Hello there! I…didn’t expect you to be in the Avidya Forest! What are you doing here?

Normally, she wouldn't want anyone to feel the need to address her like so, outside of work at the very least. Still, since she is in the middle of business, Faruzan is going to let this slide.

''Oh, you know, work. Haven't seen you in some time, you look well'', that much the Matra Captain can take reassurance of.

''But things haven't been too much for you, i hope?'', between ranger duties and studying to get in the Akademiya, is what the older woman means.

Collei walked through the streets of Sumeru, wrapped Pita Pocket in hand, to Kaveh and Alhaitham’s house.

She glanced up at the sky for the thousanth time, making sure she wasn’t late.

Kaveh always invited her on the same day every week to come over. They usually either went shopping, got something to eat or stayed in while Kaveh did her hair or tried to show her how to sketch.

She truly held every moment on the most precious place in her heart.

Collei walked up to their house and knocked.

It’s me!

And with that, the door opened.

Ah, Collei! It's wonderful to see you again, as punctual as ever too.. Kaveh happily steps aside to let the trainee forest ranger step inside. Though today things seemed to be a little bit messier around the house, likely because he was cleaning or something of the sort.

Don't mind the mess, kiddo. I've lost an entire box of charcoal and it's a long, ..likely boring story..

He chuckles and shakes his head, though he could see where the insinuation came from given his attire. ❝   𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞.   ❞   The young man crosses both his arms over his chest. “Although I know wherein the confusions lie, but I’m nothing more but a wanderer..a vagabond if you will. Although meeting someone aspiring to be a forest ranger so young is rather astonishing, how far along are you in your training?"

Collei stood to the back of the theater’s stage, watching Nilou’s movements from the shadows.

Nilou really admired Nilou’s form of art, just like Kaveh’s architecture and sketches and drawings.

She was transported with the movement of her friend.

That’s…Nilou, that’s so beautiful! Is it a new set of moves?

Nilou noticed Collei towards the back of the theater. She smiled and waved as she paused her set, motioning for Collei to come closer.

Collei walked the halls of the Akademiya, on a little stroll around Sumeru. She came much earlier than usual today since she and Kaveh had planned for a sleepover today.

As she meandered quietly, barely anyone looking at her though she had some confidence in her step, she ran into someone.

And, quite literally at that.

As Collei quickly looking up, she gasped lightly, blushing.

Alhaitham! Oh- oh, Archons! I'm so sorry!

I'm just walking around here for a bit until I head to your house!

Collei inwardly cringed at herself, even though she knew Alhaitham would be as kind as usual about it.

Not that this was a normal thing that happened!

Alhaitham turned to face the other, his glare a mix of nonchalance and annoyance. He uttered a quiet groan, alongside a huff, that was quickly replaced with a soft smile as he realized who it was.

walking along a path through the avidya forest was a bard, waving a hand in his face to keep himself cool in the very humid environment that was a rainforest. the gust of a gentle spring breeze following him as he was seemingly having a simple stroll and visiting the lands of sumeru. “ argh.. I did not recall sumeru being this humid.” he remarked to himself. a tiny mushroom creature invisible to most people followed the bard curiously as it was fully aware of his true nature and venti did not mind the company whilst he walked along the large tree trunk.

though he would soon attract a lot of anemo elementals native to this region. “ haha! as much as I love an audience, I am afraid that I am currently off the stage today.” he mused as he looked among the fungi whilst the little aranara hid behind him. he would then let out a huff, placing hands on hips as the fungi didn’t move even an inch away from him, “ and you didn’t even bring proper payment! not a single apple or mora among you! how’s a beggar supposed to make a living this way? hmm?” he raised a brow at the anemo fungi.

he very well could summon his bow and make quick work of this group of fun guys fungi but upon the wind he could hear voices and footsteps thus upping to merely stall until who he assumed to be forest rangers came to the rescue. anddd.. once he knew that the forest ranger(s) could see and hear him, venti changed his tune and pretended to be afraid for his life. dramatically placing a hand over his head and the other on his chest, “ oh, woe is me! one so fragile and petite as I! ahhh! if only a brave soul could save me!” he cried out before pretending to have a fainting fit whilst the aranara seemed to confusingly follow his lead- walking over and plopping itself down next to the bard once he had collapsed.

“ nara venti- NARA VENTI!!” it ‘cried’ as it gently shook him despite the fact that the forest rangers would be unable to see it. this aranara just seemed to enjoy partaking in venti’s theatric antics.

Collei stood next to her uncle Kaveh and waved her fathers off.

They were going on a trip for research for a few days, although Collei had whispered to her favorite Uncle that she thought they were also going to have “kissy time” which had made Kaveh smile and laugh.

Collei looked far up at Kaveh then, lightly tugging on his cape even though he was already looking down at her.

I saw some cool ones there yesterday, but Dad told me to show you when you were here to watch me.

Collei smiled, a toothy grin.

She tried to push the sides of her hair back, out of her face, not used to it being grown so long.

Of course, kiddo... Kaveh answers happily before he takes note of Collei's slight struggle with her hair, kneeling down to her level. But first.. come here real' quick, let me handle that for you, little sprout. he gently pulls her hair back, taking the hair clip that was holding the feather in his hair out. gingerly using it to pin back one side of her hair.

Is that too bothersome for you? Making sure before I pin the other side...

Collei was in her and her parent’s hut in Gandharva Ville, on the couch, slowly going through reports by the other rangers.

Okay, that one goes in that pile…ooh, I’m not quite sure what animal they’re talking about…huh.

Collei quietly murmured to herself as she did so. Nilotpala was hanging around somewhere doing her own thing.

Suddenly, she heard a knock at the door.

Who is it? I’ll be right there!

Collei called out for the person since the door was only made of leaves. She set her project to the side and got up.

Collei opened the leaves and was greeted by a face she was happy to see.

Oh, Thérèse! It’s you! Hi, there!

Collei smiled, backing up so she could enter.

What’s up? Coming over for a chat or do you need help with something?
