Are y'all ready for a mildly unhinged character comparison?
(It makes sense when you think about it, trust me)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
William Afton and Doctor Morocco. One is an undead serial killer from a mascot horror game. The other is a villain from a cartoon targeted to preschool-age children who doesn't even have a body count (at least, not one that's mentioned on-screen). On the surface, all they have in common are their British accents and general disregard for public welfare. But, these two are actually far more similar than you might think.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First, they are both inventors, and experts in robotics. While it is unclear exactly how many animatronics Afton himself built, we know from Sister Location that he designed the Funtimes by himself, and he worked very closely with Henry Emily for earlier animatronics (not even gonna try researching specific numbers because FNAF). Morocco is shown working on many projects, from submarines to a machine that controls ants, but his most famous invention is the MorBot, a non-sentient transforming robot.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Early in their careers, they both met fellow genius inventors; Afton with Henry Emily, and Morocco with Jules Verne. They became best friends, and began working together on projects. Unfortunately, both of these friendships were more one-sided than they seemed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Admiration of Emily and Verne soon turned to jealousy, leading Afton and Morocco to betray them. Afton, either grieving the loss of his own child(ren), or just at his breaking point depending on what timeline you use, killed Henry's daughter, Charlie. After being gifted a prototype Verne device, Morocco disagreed with Verne on how the technology should be used, and disappeared to develop inventions which fulfilled his own selfish desires. Although they are not equal in magnitude, both betrayals hurt the recipients deeply.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
At some point, both became obsessed with the pursuit of eternal life. This led Afton to continue killing children to harvest remnant from them, even creating the S.C.U.P., better known as the Scooper, to aid remnant extraction. Morocco used his Verne device prototype to create his Chamber of Youth, a glass pod with anti-aging properties. (Picture of Burntrap's charging pod included for comparison with the Chamber of Youth, and because I couldn't find a better place to put it.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
However, time waits for no man. Although Afton "survives" injuries that should be fatal, and Morocco barely looks a day over 40 at 200, neither of their situations are perfect. What's left of Afton is trapped inside an old Spring Bonnie suit, and Morocco must make frequent trips to his Chamber of Youth to avoid aging rapidly and dying.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Eventually, Emily and Verne decide to end their former best friends' reigns of terror. Emily builds a fake pizzeria to trap Afton, and all of the haunted and/or sentient animatronics, and burns them to the ground. Verne takes a (relatively) pacifist approach, erasing Morocco's memories of being evil and bringing him to future Paris, where he will hopefully live out the rest of his days in peace. So goes the ends of two great villains…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
…until SOMEONE decides that the characters are too popular to die, so they're brought back, but it's not really them, it's just viruses that look and talk and act and think like them that were created by the real Afton and Morocco at an undisclosed point in time because why wouldn't they do that? These viruses appear in experimental VR games, Glitchtrap in the Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience, and the Morocco virus in Griffin Rock Element Quest 2.0. They both have the ability to alter the games they originated in, Glitchtrap adding the tapes and Bonnie plush, and Morocco virus creating entirely new levels. They also have the ability to control other machines, and even humans, under the right circumstances.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both viruses manage to transfer themselves into physical bodies, and continue to cause chaos. (For this example, we are assuming that Burntrap is the Mimic infected with the Glitchtrap virus and pretending to be William Afton, NOT Afton himself.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vanessa and Gregory trap the Mimic in an even lower level of the basement, and the rescue team traps Morocco virus in a block of ice. After they are captured and imprisoned, they decide that they should update their character designs at the earliest convenience to be more easily distinguishable from their human designers, sell more merch, and, in Morocco virus' case at least, grow more powerful. Mimic basically just stops cosplaying as Ourple Guy (and starts cosplaying as a circus creature amalgam depending on the ending), but Morocco upgrades to a MorBot, rivaling the Rescue Bots in every physical aspect.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It is unknown whether or not either of these viruses, or their creators, will be threats in the future. With the Morocco virus stuck at the bottom of the ocean, and the doctor himself nowhere to be seen in Rescue Bots Academy, the reign of Morocco has likely come to an end. It seems as though William Afton has finally died, too, being replaced by the Mimic as FNAF's main antagonist. To know the Mimic's fate, we'll have to wait until Secret of the Mimic, or maybe even a game farther in the future.
Aaaaand I think that's it! There are a few smaller details that I didn't mention (i.e. Morocco's shirt button/brooch thing is ourple?!?😱😱😱), but these are all of the big connections between these guys that I saw. I haven't seen anyone else make this comparison (for good reason lol), so I thought it would be nice to share my thoughts. Let me know what y'all think, and feel free to mention things that I missed, or let me know your own mildly unhinged character comparisons. So, uh… yeah. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
Edit: I fixed the typo in the image description for the picture of Morocco and Verne meeting.

I can't stop thinking about Prime and Rescue Bots sharing a universe. Like what all did the Rescue Bots know about during the war. Do they know about Unicron, Team Prime's base getting destroyed, do they even know Smokescreen exists? Same goes for Team Prime. When did each member find out about the Rescue Bots (if they found out), how often did Optimus think about just letting his Dino-bot side out during a battle, did they worry about M.E.C.H. finding out about them? This universe makes me absolutely feral with things like this and I love it.
Honestly I'm pretty sure they didn't even register Unicron happening because disasters are just the natural state of griffin rock. "Oh another earthquake? Yeah okay, let's go fellas, we got work."
They likely didnt know about the base being destroyed until after they relocated just with how often the bots try to get a hold of team prime and reach nobody until whichever fiasco is happening is over.
They definitely know about most of team prime just with how much they knew about Bumblebee alone, but they likely only learned about Smokescreen if Blades and Bumblebee talk outside of necessary-for-work comms.
Honestly I'm pretty sure all of team prime knows about griffin rock even if they don't get an episode there. If it's restricted information to, say, Arcee and Bulkhead, then its a bit confusing that Optimus would freely reveal it to Bumblebee when he ranks lower. And we know Ratchet is aware of them since he had to help find a cure for the paralytic virus in the first bumblebee episode. I'd guess he debriefed the others on the new bots and the griffin rock project right after they touched down to earth for the first time.
I truly, genuinely, honestly believe Optimus should've gone dinobot mode at some point during prime but either that episode came out after the show already ended or they just did not have the budget to model a full t rex mode. But in the timeline where things lined up just the right way to allow it to happen, please imagine with me: dinobot Optimus vs predaking. T rex vs a dragon. Somewhere in the multiverse, beast wars Megatron is weeping.
As for MECH's involvement, I think it's actually implied Morocco has been selling them tech. There's a nonzero chance Nemesis Prime used a Morbot as a base and they modified it from there after they learned enough about cybertronian anatomy to make a copy of prime.
All in all the Ramifications of these shows being so deeply intertwined has me FUCKED UP and I want to see the two teams hanging out so so so badly. Boulder, Graham and Bulkhead all getting to talking and finding out about Bulkhead's construction experience and being like legitimately hyped that they have that in common, and then Bulkhead having a full on out of body experience because hey wait why are the smart guys treating him like he's One of Them and not calling him dumb? Arcee and Heatwave shooting the shit about how frustrating the people they live with can be, but they still love their teams to death. Both of them snarking at Kade. Blades and Bumblebee being Gay on Main alnd Jack, Raf and Miko clamoring for DETAILS while Dani cheers them on. Ratchet being miserable because by Primus why are there so many humans, three of them is already exhausting, until Cody starts talking to him and he conveniently forgets his plan to go hide out in his room. Chase being out of his depth around Miko, aka Chaos Personified. Optimus, June, Fowler and Charlie just slowwwly forming a Tired Parents Club in the corner.
In conclusion your honor I liek when the funni robot shows crossover :]

After African countries struggled to get testing kits during the COVID-19 pandemic, officials vowed to make the continent less dependent on imported medical supplies. Now, in a first for Africa, a Moroccan company is filling orders for mpox tests as an outbreak continues. Moroccan startup Moldiag began developing mpox tests after the World Health Organization declared the virus a global emergency in August. Africa’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has reported more than 59,000 mpox cases and 1,164 deaths in 20 countries this year.

I'm just gonna say it.
Doctor Morocco is basically William Afton.
Association with Color Purple, no qualms about murdering children, robotics Genius, "I always come back", keeps popping up no matter how many times the protagonists think they got rid of him, obsessed with living robots,
And biggest of all
Eventually returns as a Computer Virus hidden inside a videogame and brainwashes somebody.
Doctor Morocco is basically William Afton.

Trump's Policy: An Overview of Key Domestic and Foreign Policies
Donald Trump’s presidency (2017-2021) was marked by a mix of conservative, populist, and nationalist policies that aimed to reshape both domestic governance and international relations. His administration focused on deregulation, tax cuts, immigration restrictions, and an "America First" foreign policy. This article explores some of the key policies implemented during his tenure.
Domestic Policies
1. Economic Policies: Tax Cuts and Deregulation
Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) in 2017, which reduced corporate tax rates from 35% to 21% and lowered income tax rates for individuals. The goal was to stimulate economic growth by encouraging investment and job creation. Additionally, his administration pursued extensive deregulation, rolling back environmental and business regulations to boost industries like manufacturing and energy.
2. Immigration: Border Security and Travel Bans
Immigration was a cornerstone of Trump's platform. His administration enacted policies such as:
The Border Wall: Construction of a border wall along the U.S.-Mexico border was a major priority. While parts of the wall were built, funding and legal challenges prevented full completion.
Family Separation Policy: The "zero tolerance" policy led to the separation of migrant families at the border, sparking controversy.
Travel Ban: A ban on travel from several predominantly Muslim countries was implemented early in his presidency, citing national security concerns.
3. Healthcare: Attempts to Repeal Obamacare
Trump and congressional Republicans attempted to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA), commonly known as Obamacare. Although a full repeal was unsuccessful, his administration weakened the ACA by eliminating the individual mandate penalty, which required Americans to have health insurance.
4. Criminal Justice and Policing
Trump signed the First Step Act, a bipartisan criminal justice reform bill that aimed to reduce sentencing for nonviolent offenders and improve prison conditions. However, his administration was also criticized for its response to racial justice protests and calls for police reform.
5. COVID-19 Response
Trump’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic was highly debated. While his administration accelerated vaccine development through Operation Warp Speed, critics argued that his initial downplaying of the virus and inconsistent messaging contributed to the severity of the outbreak in the U.S.
Foreign Policy: America First Approach
1. Trade and Tariffs
Trump sought to reduce trade deficits and bring manufacturing jobs back to the U.S.:
Trade War with China: His administration imposed tariffs on Chinese goods, leading to retaliatory tariffs. The Phase One trade deal in 2020 sought to rebalance trade but had limited impact.
USMCA: Trump renegotiated NAFTA into the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), which introduced new labor and environmental provisions.
2. Relations with Allies and NATO
Trump frequently criticized NATO allies for not meeting their defense spending commitments. His administration pushed for a more transactional approach to alliances, emphasizing U.S. interests over multilateral cooperation.
3. Middle East Policy
Israel and the Abraham Accords: His administration brokered historic agreements between Israel and several Arab nations (UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco), normalizing diplomatic relations.
Iran: Trump withdrew from the Iran Nuclear Deal (JCPOA) and reimposed sanctions, arguing the agreement was too lenient.
Afghanistan: He initiated peace talks with the Taliban and negotiated a withdrawal plan for U.S. troops, which was later carried out under President Biden.
4. North Korea Diplomacy
Trump engaged in unprecedented direct diplomacy with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, meeting him three times. However, talks ultimately stalled, and North Korea continued its missile tests.
Conclusion
Trump's policies reflected his "America First" philosophy, prioritizing domestic economic growth, national security, and a shift away from multilateral agreements. While his administration saw economic gains and deregulatory successes, it also faced criticism for its handling of immigration, racial tensions, and the pandemic. His legacy remains highly debated, influencing political discourse even after his presidency.

More OC story time, please? Pretty please?
Hello! Umm should I go on a rant about their respective backstorys?
Ok, so Lielle comes from a small village in what are world calls Africa. I couldn't pinpoint a specific country that I wanted her to come from, so I settled on Morocco. btw um the culture isn't the same in this world because I just took the region because I wanted her to be from a place where caracals live. (Because she's a Caracal person) And She's Jewish-Moroccan so the culture is different for her village, then the rest of the region, being that Morocco is an Arab nation.
Her village is quite small, because Caracals tend to live alone, but for the sake of the human side, they form small community's ranging anywhere from 60 to 200 people total. Like I said, very small. When the children get old enough, they basically get kicked out, encouraged to start their own families and shit. Usually they don't get fully kicked out, they're still welcomed back when they need it, but they more get sent on their way to like college or something. They mostly do this to ensure that they don't become dependent on their families.
So Lielle got kicked out when she turned 20, and she decided to go to college, to try and get a degree in biology. She always had an interest in science, as she grew up doing more physical things, such as catching birds without harming them, harvesting plants, cooking, farming, ect. She also wants to make a difference in the world. And biology would open up several windows into medical fields, and she would be able to help find cures for deadly illness.
Now, Maxine. Max grew up in the big city. She's selfish, snarky and impulsive. They rarely see the bigger picture, and tend to only think about the present. She's a human-human which is rare in this world. It doesn't make them special in any way, it just makes them a minority, that's it. Which doesn't really matter. As in this world, there isn't really much racism, homophobia, transphobia or other. Bigotry doesn't really exist. Because I said so.
Aight so there was a small outbreak in the area where Max lives. A deadly virus that essentially spreads through the bloodstream, spreading rot and decay through the organs and blood. Causing a slow, painful death. I won't go into much detail, but one first symptoms is excessive coughing. The next sign is coughing up sour blood, usually mixed with black. By now, it's too late for you. The virus in fairly new, and the reported cases of people who were infected is small, so there hasn't really been to much funding towards a cure.
Ok so back to Max, She was in a relationship with Lielle, when they found out she got infected. ( Unrelated, but They were majoring in psychology, mind you, failing)
Max not wanting to die, urged Lielle to find a cure. Lielle managed to come up with something that *might* work, though it obviously needed thorough testing before it would be safe to use. Which is something they didn't have the money or connections for. Max managed to convince Lielle to use the cure anyway, and with enough pressure she did.
The cure worked! Sorta. It affectively stopped the virus from spreading to the vital organs, and it flushed the virus to less important areas of the body, and it stopped spreading! Exept, that the cure ended up mutating Max's arms into heavy tentacles made of slime, that they are unavailable to move... At all. And a lot of her blood was still black, and her eyes also turned into black slime, along with her mouth... Still, at least they're alive!
Anyway, Max is a pissy baby and dumps Lielle for mutating her.
And that's it for now! Thank you for the ask!
