Oh yeah! Since I have no clue if/when I'm ever finishing these and I've had them laying around for forever by now- here's the adult IT metaverse outfits I've made! They're all based on their ultimate personas and the concept of heros! Since these were made for an aged up p4 cast, these aren't quite what I'd put their during p4 time selves in- some changing more then others- but if you wanna follow me into design details, that'll all be under the cut!

First off to get em out of the way- Teddie is very largely the same as his p4 time metaverse outfit I made for him back here . The design is still meant to be inspired by magical girls, but the biggest change is that while the old one was meant to look like a magical girl protagonists outfit, this one I tried to lean a bit more into the older/more experienced cast member of the magical girl group type design. Overall a pretty minor change (and I will admit, largely because I'm still incredibly happy with that old design) but it felt fitting!

Chie and Yukiko were, as always when I work on them, designed to match. Their masks specifically mirror eachother with the opposites sides sticking out, and they both have a golden dragon pattern on their clothes as a reference to the twin dragons move! Chie was... honestly one where I had to sacrifice my goals a bit. Like mentioned before, these were meant specifically for an aged up cast. And while p4 era Chie I would absolutely imagine in a kung fu Chung-Li type outfit, we know what a more mature version of her action hero dreams look like; the police! And I.... really did not want to put her in a cop outfit, Ill be real. Instead I just tried focusing on making the outfit look more mature. Also tried to combine a practical and strong look with a more feminine aesthetic, since she struggles pretty badly with her femininity in p4 and I like to think she'd grow more comfortable with her own brand of it over time!

Yukiko is perhaps one of the most drastic one for changes compared to her younger self- if you asked me to design a p4 era outfit for her, it would look nothing like this, hah. Anyways, she's definitely inspired by onna-musha! Compared to Tomoe who was a full on commander of an army going out there, for Yukiko the idea was more the women taking up arms to protect their home when the battle comes their way. Fully having embraced the role she has as the next owner of the Amagi Inn and the responsibility and want to protect it, it's meant to be somewhat of an outing of that!

Fun fact: She has two color schemes! Because uhh I did not know what to go for at all. Her ultimate persona is like a single solid color and I kind of panicked and just ended up winging the colorscheme. One is more red since, y'know, thats her color! The other is more white gold to match her actual persona better. Included at the end of this post for the curious

Rise was based on a greek goddess- though not any particular one, moreso how they're commonly depicteed in art and old statues. Pretty, holy, someone you'd go to for advice and help (someone just out of reach from the general public) It just felt like a good combination of something she'd like to be seen as and percieved as as well. She gets two outfits- for scan and fight mode! Kouzeon has no canon fight mode, thats just for Himiko, but man it exists in my heart. The transistion between the two is literally just her throwing off the long overskirt, hah.

How does her mask work? Excellent question. The p5 idea of having it there when vibing but gone when the persona is out feels a little awkward when her persona's whole thing is putting a visor over her face. Quite frankly I have no idea. Sorry folks. Have all concept sketches for the outfits I've done as compensation with a bonus Noot in there that I never continued on and finished.

237th edit and Lord this one took so long, but here it is XD. Ariel and her sisters, from birth order highest form of power/royalty a woman can be. From Goddess, empress, queen, duchess, ambassador, a kinght-ed woman, to a widowed lady of high social status. Yes, I went even further to EXCLUDE princess as I am that stressful on myself. XP I swear some of these ladies colorschemes were so harder to mirror in the outfits, yet if I had say the hardest one was hands down Andrina. I mean She has dark pinks, meanwhile Alana had violet plus lighter pinks. Please comment which one is your personal favorite and can, please explain why. I am torn Attina and Aquata as my personal favorites. Happy early Halloween!

UPDATE/ change one thing I give Aquata dark blues as opposed black, as her and Alana’s outfits would have looked too similar.

Shared two oc inspiration boards on twt and some friends wanted to know a bit more but i didn't want to make a long ass thread so here we are :3

Bit of background info, this story is basically a revamp of an older one I had along with a mix and match of various ocs I had throughout the years. At this point in time, I feel this project is the most sound it's been and it starts to form itself. Not that i have written too far but it feels manageable for me, so that's good. Another thing, I haven't drawn all the characters in their most updated form but that's where these boards come in. They're not the most definitive version, more or so for the fun of it and the convenience to make changes.

Regarding the story itself, there is an overarching plot, a murder mystery the main character (Kleo) has been hired to solve, and smaller murders that she also works on and that introduce different characters each time (kinda like ace attorney in a sense, those smaller cases aren't too complicated and are quite short but bring things to the story and the development of the characters).

and lastly, some boards are smaller than others and i may have less things to say about some ocs as well, this is an inroduction basically.

ok so first up Kleo: She works at a detective agency as a detective/investigator that takes on the mysteries of the town. On top of that she is hired by Mia (more on her later) to solve that bigger murder case. She's basically Mia's assistant or agent if you will and runs various errands for her, not just investigating. She's themed after the moon and stars so that's a bit important. I'll leave the character development stuff for the story when i write it eventually or whenever I want to post about that too idk, but basically she's a bit of a loner and that's the starting point of her arc.

Characters that remind me of her are Klavier and Jolyne, her attitude/personality has similar energy to theirs. Also i'm inspired by their arcs to write something in the same vein for her. This part of the boards isn't too deep, I don't intend to mirror those characters but it's fun to see the combinations that'll come up (it's also based mostly simply on vibes tbh)

Next, Mia. This lady this lady... I don't want to spoil too much about her so this will be pretty short. She's Kleo's boss and veeeery mysterious. Personality wise she's pretty calm and confident and mysterious and a tiny bit mischevious. just a tiny bit. She has my favorite design and colorscheme so far, she's inspired by the sun and nature, in a "life" sort of sense. Her and Kleo's dynamic is very interesting and complex but also funny and goofy at times.

Fun fact about her she lives alone on her island, good for her. She has the Lisa lisa energy but definitely more mischievous. The other lady in the board is Amalia from a comedy drama series in the early 00's, she's pretty iconic at that and also has a very special role in the show, Mia's role is of the same importance. As I'm writing this I realized I didn't put Minda from Twilight princess on the board who is a huge inspiration :( anyway

one thing about her that I'm excited for is the artistic department. I've thought a lot of cool ways to draw her. that's it for her for now

Agape: She's a costume designer in a film studio where the first case takes place and is a witness/suspect to the crime. Agape is one of Kleo's very very few friends and the closest at that. She doesn't have a very complex character arc in the beginning, mainly bcs of her role in the case, but her relationship with Kleo is a subject present from the very beginning. We will step into wlw territory with those too yes yes :3 She's the only person Kleo lets to get so close with her and Agape knows and appreciates that. They will also be working a lot together the two of them. I would like to talk about their dynamic and their relationship both platonic and romantic more but this is not the post for that so maybe another time.

Design wise, she's themed after hearts duh. There are a lot of red and pink accents as well as designer/seamstress themed details. She went to the Daphne Blake school of serving so there's that.

Leon: He's the hothead, overly confident and cocky yet popular with the civilians and media coworker of kleo. He's Kleo's rival at the agency who constantly gets all the good cases and the positive coverage from the media. He is in fact very good at his job but it has blown up his head. He and Kleo are polar opposites yet have more similarities than they'd might think. Throughout the story we do see his redeeming traits and his development into being a better person.

He's themed after the sun and his signature color is orange-yellow, warm and vivid colors in general

some guy with no name yet: This guy ik people would love lmao. He owns a small machanic/repair shop though you will rarely see him *actually working*.Well he just doesn't do the fixing, more managing and running the whole thing is his job. He has mentor figure vibes as well being a bit childish for his age. I don't blame him though silliness has no age. He also seems to know much information about people, more than he lets on, hmm. Mia and him know each other as well.

and finally Max: I've drawn him once but i'm not satisfied with how he looked. Max works at the repair shop I mentioned. That being said he's the only employee there :) it's just Max and the guy above, two silly guys at their pathetic bussiness (affectionate). Their dynamic is basically max doing all the repairing and the guy (i really should name him soon oh lord) doing the management ect ect. Those two are also the main comedic duo, like imagine your boss being absolutely incompetent at the main task of his job so you basically take it on by yourself, leaving him in charge of everything else which also doesn't suit him resulting to the bussiness running on your boss' pure charisma and luck. Anyway, Max is a very sweet lil guy and is always willing to help.

Why did roman just make virgil a human with some god powers

Well, it’s.. p complicated? Well like, I guess not to Roman but, hm. I’m assuming you mean’t ‘did’ and not ‘didn’t’ to answer this and it wasn’t a typo, for one.

(Bc Virgil, for all intents and purposes, is technically just a human with some very minor god powers)

But okay. Imagine you’re in charge, you are like, the head honcho of the world. You can flick your hand and a flame can spark from your hand with little effort, you can mend broken furniture without touching it, you can heal human wounds in minutes. Sunlight is the source of your power, and keeps the kingdoms all around the world that you manage safe from the darker gods who want to disrupt or at least have a little fun terrorizing said kingdoms. There's more to it than that, of course, but the baseline is. Your existence is born from the sun, and whatever the sun’s light touches is generally safe from whatever malicious gods you’ve banished from being in it, and now you realize that your sun’s light cannot protect one side of the world that will always be plunged into darkness as the earth rotates. So you make a mirror, it is gigantic enough to help earth in many ways, and it is a large task.

But, as You control the Sun, and your Brother does the Earth, you need an entity to latch it to, to keep the moon in sync with a guide.

What you don’t realize is that you have never made a god for a new entity before, with no idea the powers it needs. It shouldn’t need any, you think, It just needs to follow the path of night where your sun cannot directly shine, and let the Moon reflect the Sun’s light. It will be a disciple of the Sun, the guide of the Moon, from now on. It will be immortal, it will not age, and stand vigilant against the Shadowed Gods that spite you.

You make him in the image of a human representation of the moon, skin and eyes as pale as the moonlight it promises to bring, hair dark as coal to reflect the night sky, a deep purple cape to complete the unassuming colorscheme. This god, who is not quite a god, will lead the moon from now on. You do not think about the fact that this endless cycle is something they will do forever, that you do not make the moon move on it’s own. Why would you? This God, who is not quite a god, not quite even a person yet, has only one purpose: Lead the Moon.

You don’t know that one day he will begin to think, that he will blink and suddenly see the world with consciousness. You do not know that his un-aging body, though gifted with an immortally beating heart, will eventually feel exhaustion. For you have never had to deal with the exhaustion of walking endlessly, why would you when Sunlight is your constant powersource? Sure, this is a strong body you’ve built, you are sure of that, and your disciple doesn’t feel it for months, but once the bone deep exhaustion sets in, he has no way to combat it. And yet, he continues to walk, and tells you nothing about it. He has one purpose. Lead the Moon.

You do not yet know, when you make him, that the shadowed gods will take so great of an offence to his creation that they begin to accost him constantly the moment he is outside of your kingdoms or the Sky Temple of Worship. You continue to not know, as each day passes and you see not the bruises and cuts that heal sluggishly for a god, but inhumanly fast for a human, that he gains from these tormenting scuffles. You do not hear about the damage, you do not know, he doesn’t tell you. He continues to Lead the Moon.

You do not know that he would need abilities to fight, he shouldn’t. You do not know that the deity you made is now exhausted and weak, that it has nightly battles to defend the sunlight. You do not know that this deity needs help, for you rest when the sun is not above the Temple, and do not see him during the day. He continues to Lead the Moon.

You do not know something is wrong, because despite the exhaustion, the pain, the Deity gets back up and marches on, because his body will not die, not to them, not when it is made of your light. He continues to Lead the Moon.

You do not know anything is wrong until Dusk watches him collapse infront of the temple, and the moon’s light in the night sky becomes obscured, when Dusk wakes you and Dawn emerges for the morning. You don’t see the damage or the exhaustion or the sadness, because you are Angry.

You believed that your creation had been perfect.

You were wrong.

But you come to understand something, by the time this not quite a god becomes the true God of the Moon.

You may be the God of the Sun, very powerful and capable of creation, but, You are Not immune to making Mistakes.

In learning that, you can finally begin fixing them.

day 2 - nonbinary refinery

for day 2 of @enbymagicianweek about clothes and appearance

style, cut, color, pattern; all of these things matter when putting together an outfit. but the most important thing is being able to choose what you wear.

“Stop fidgeting, Saria, you’re making this far more difficult than it needs to be!”

Saria stood in front of a mirror in their room, their mother’s delicate hands adjusting a ribbon on their dress. They wore a sour expression on their face, glaring at the ruffles and bows with all of the passion a four year old could muster. Their tiny hands were balled into fists at their side, and they flinched whenever their mother touched them.

“Honestly, I don’t see why you’re so against dresses,” their mother remarked, tightening the sash around their waist. “This one looks adorable on you! It’s the latest style for young children.”

Saria said nothing, only frowning even more.

“And pink looks fantastic on you as well,” their mother continued, either incognizant of their fury or willfully ignoring it. 

“I hate it,” Saria replied. “It makes me look girly.”

Their mother sighed. “How many times do I have to tell you that you are a girl?”

Saria remained silent. Their mother furrowed her brow, then stood. “Come along. We need to do your hair before the party.”

“Don’t put more bows in it!” Saria complained. “I hate them!”

“It doesn’t matter how you feel about them,” their mother stated plainly. “You need to look presentable; the Countess herself is going to be here, and I can’t have you embarrassing us!”

Their mother took their hand firmly and led them towards the vanity in their room. She sat Saria on the stool, then took a nearby brush and roughly brushed out their hair. She pulled it up into a bun (though some stubborn strands popped out immediately) and tied a bright pink ribbon around it, finishing the look with a large bow.

“There,” she said. “Now don’t you look lovely?”

Saria looked in the mirror at themself; the bow looked like some kind of brain-sucking monster to them. “No.”

Their mother rolled her eyes. “Even if you don’t think so, you do.” She stood and beckoned for Saria to follow her as she left the room. Obediently, Saria followed; they knew there was no point in resisting. Once their mother started on something, there was nothing that could convince her to stop.

They were planning on tearing the bow out later that night, anyway.

“I’ve been meaning to ask you something, Saria.”

The sun was lazily making its way across the sky as Saria and Lucio sat on the veranda together. A tea set of white porcelain and gold trim sat between them, alongside a towering tray of cookies and other sweets. Mercedes and Melchior sat at their feet, napping in the afternoon sunlight.

Saria blinked, putting their teacup down on a saucer in front of them. “What’s that?”

“You wear that outfit a lot,” Lucio said, gesturing broadly to Saria’s attire. “Is there, like, a reason why?”

Saria looked down at their outfit. It was their usual wear; a long, sleeveless white coat over a white tube top with a sweetheart neckline, a vibrant yellow corset, golden leggings, and intricately patterned white and gold boots. “Does it look bad on me?” they asked, looking back up at Lucio quizzically.

“Nothing could look bad on you, babe,” Lucio replied with a wink. “I’m just curious, is all.”

Saria rolled their eyes. “Thanks, love.” They crossed one leg over the other, careful not to hit the sleeping dog next to them. “This is a variation of the uniform of the academy I studied at. Lots of alumni still wear them in order to recognize each other on sight.”

“I see,” Lucio replied. “Well, whoever designed the uniform knew what they were doing. It’s very cute on you, and the colorscheme is quite nice.”

“You’re just saying that because we match.” Saria took a sip of their tea, then sighed contentedly. “But thank you; everyone’s uniform is different, so we pretty much design them ourselves.”

Lucio grinned. “Impeccable taste as always, my dear.” He reached down to give a pat to Mercedes, who yawned and blinked sleepily at him. “Out of curiosity, if you didn’t wear that, what would you wear?”

Saria thought for a moment to themself, only breaking their contemplation to acknowledge Melchior’s desire for pets. “I’m not sure,” they finally said, looking back at Lucio across the table. “Probably something similar. No skirts, though.”

“Well, whatever you wear, you’re sure to look absolutely stunning,” Lucio replied, flashing a signature grin at Saria. “Well, unless you dress like Asra.”

“Hey, the technicolor dreamcoat look works for them!”

2) what is their sexual/romantic orientation and gender? 

Guinevere is biromantic/bisexual, and is cis (she uses she/her pronouns).

3) what is their villain name? why did they choose it?

Her villain name is Enchantress. Why? Well, if I was going to keep with the Arthurian names (Guinevere and Vivien [her puppet… aka the Lady of the lake] are both from Arthurian legends), then her villain name had to be that too! The original Welsh spelling of Guinevere is Gwenhwyfar (or Gwenhwyvar), which is similar to the Irish Findabair, which is translated to “The White Enchantress” or “The White Ghost”. I almost went with Ghost, but I felt like Enchantress fit better with her being a telepath, because she can “enchant” people to do what she wants. That’s the reason why Guinevere went with it too!

4) what does their villain armor look like? what is their typical style of dress?

This description is slightly edited from the game text but: Enchantress’ suit is a shadow with a mirror for a face, revealing nothing. In its left hand, the suit has a neutered colony of nanovores functionally similar to having a disintergration touch that can be summoned and released at will, as well as being equipped with enhanced strength and telepathic boosters. The cape is sleek and can be detached at the slightest touch if needed.

Basically: very sleek, sort of exoskeleton-y looking? Honestly, the description of the outfit sort of reminds me of Mysterio from Spiderman: Far From Home with a less ridiculous helmet and a black/cyan colorscheme.

Their typical style of dress is casual, but fashionable. And VERY cozy! Big turtleneck sweaters over jeans with boots is Guinevere’s typical style. Sometimes overalls over flannels or turtlenecks if she’s feeling fancy. Because turtlenecks are adorable, okay.

19) what scarred them the most about the heartbreak incident?

Not being in control. Realizing she was fallible. She has a lot of emotions regarding that, most she doesn’t want to acknowledge. 

30) what is their love life like?

Makuta Gali

I’ve been rereading bionicle Chronicles novels and noticing some interesting tidbits that led me to an au/headcanon that Gali is not just a Toa of Water.

Gali seems to have intriguing abilities that make her stand apart from her brothers.

She has telepathy/mind reading abilities (link with Takua, Kopaka feels unease around Gali and under her gaze, expressing that it feels like she can see through him, Onua notices that she “can all but read others’ thoughts at times”),

She claims she has incredible amount of power (”Toa, if the Great Beings see fit to restore my energies to me . . . I may one day show you what power really is.” Gali to Tahu, Chronicles #4 “Tales of the Masks”),

Krika says "You would have made a good Makuta, Gali. You are far too clever to be a Toa." ,

In a Dark Mirror dimension she oversees reeducation center with Karzahni (seems like an odd combo at first glance but maybe there’s more to it).

That led me to multiple interpretations of Gali being something more than mere Toa, which include:

Gali as The Great Being

Gali as something other/eldritch

Gali as Makuta (only instead of Shadow she still has water)

Gali as actually Toa of Psionics (And all her Water ‘bending’ is just her using telekinesis)

Gali as fusion of Toa of Water and Psionics

My design tries to capture/apply to at least a few of these interpretations. She wears Golden Armor, which grants her all 42 kraata powers, and changes her overall colorscheme to match what Toa of Psionics or a fusion of Water and Psionics Toa might look like. I also added octopus tentacles and manta ray ‘skirt’ to make her appear as either more ‘other’ or closer to what a Makuta might look like.

A Whole New World

Summary: What if… they weren’t always characters? (Light Host/Dr. Iplier) Enjoy~

Dr. Edward Ibbot was a phenomenal surgeon and doctor, and he prided himself on this. He worked hard for his degree, and was constantly trying to learn ways to improve his practice. Every false diagnosis was a learning experience. Every failure was a new beginning. He was a sweet, kind man who kept to himself most days. Tall, slender, not muscular with dazzling green eyes and a stellar smile. He was perfect.

The doctor had been listening to soft guitar music while looking over patient records when his office door opened. Thanks to the night, it was harder to see the person move. All he had was his desk lamp, which barely shined bright enough for him to see the records. “Hello?” He asked quietly. “Who’s there?”

The figure flipped on the overhead switch, and Dr. Ibbot jumped to his feet. He gaped at the man, a generous term in his in opinion, for what stood in front of him looked hellish. Completely gray skin, with a flickering red and blue aura surrounding him. He cracked his neck, and Dr. Ibbot winced at the noise.

“That’s not natural!” Dr. Ibbot’s fear turned to worry. “Are you okay? What’s wrong with you? Can I help you?”

The man chuckled, the noise layered and unsettling. “You can help me by holding still.” He said flatly.

Before Dr. Ibbot could ask what he meant, the room was engulfed in a monochromatic colorscheme, and the furniture disappeared. It was just the man and the doctor. Dr. Ibbot didn’t get the chance to run. The man, no, the demon began to tear at his skin, at his face, organs, all of it. Changing him. Molding him.

Dr. Ibbot screamed, and screamed louder as the demon reached into his throat, changing how he sounded. He didn’t understand. How could he?

“You’re still too tall.” The demon hissed, and Dr. Ibbot felt his body compress on itself. “Your name is Dr. Iplier, do you understand?” Ibbot, now Iplier, didn’t have a choice. He nodded. “Good. Now, Dr. Iplier, tend to your practice.”

Then everything went black for the good doctor.

Dr. Iplier was a joke of a doctor. Wrong, no helpful insights, nothing. He was a joke. The others laughed at him, constantly telling them they were dying when he actually wanted to say Ed had high blood sugar or Bim was at risk for anemia, if he didn’t have it. But he couldn’t say it. What came out of his mouth was rubbish.

Dr. Iplier looked at his face in a hand mirror he had once again. He remembered everything, he remembered who he’d been before. He remembered who he was. He wondered if the others did.

He jumped at a knock on his door. Dr. Iplier put away the hand mirror. “Come in.”

“The Host opens the door and walks in. He closes the door before walking to sit in the chair next to Dr. Iplier.”

Aaand here he is!  His name is Heishimon, and he’s as hard as…well, steel!

The good thing about doing this guy: FINALLY, a guy with a consistent aesthetic.  While there are significant differences between the lines, they actually all have a pretty similar aesthetic (besides maybe Sakkakumon…so okay only Mercurymon and AncientWisetmon have the same aesthetic) and all three of them pretty much have the exact same colorscheme.

The bad thing about doing this guy: remember how I said I cant draw humans in Faemon’s post? yeah well I cant draw machines worse.  As in I can try with humans, but machines? I dont even know where to start.

But I tried and…you know what?  I’m INCREDIBLY pleased with the result.  I love this little bean, I wanna hug him and protect him forever even if he’s probably not very cuddly.

Like I said before, the colorscheme wasn’t a struggle because all three forms have the exact same colorscheme.  Heishimon takes most from Mercurymon because…I dont even know where to begin with Sakkakumon and AncientWisetmon LOL.  But I simplified whatever I struggled drawing, which looked good for Heishimon because he’s SUPPOSED to be simpler.  I shrunk down some things, like I made Mercurymon’s shields into smaller mirrors and the thing he had around his waist is now a ring around a ball (which, by the way, has the symbol of metal on it).  He also has Mercurymon’s stupid elf shoes and cone head.  The eye is pretty much the only reference to Sakkakumon, but I mean…Sakkakumon is only eyes, so.  Heishimon doesn’t reflect a whole lot in AncientWisetmon that isn’t also present in Mercurymon, but both hold up the intricate gold details, the mirrors, and Heishimon’s scarf is partially inspired by AncientWisetmon’s robes.  The kneecaps are largely random but Mercurymon’s knees dont agree with my art style, so…I had to do something.

(PS: am I the only one who feels like this line is more like the Warrior of Mirrors than the Warrior of Steel? besides Sakkakumon, which also doesn’t have anything to do with Steel but DOES have to do with eyes which is kind of similar to mirrors, all of the stages put a heavy emphasis on mirrors, so…)
