Ta da!! I drew the Akdow-Mewtons getting ready for the holiday! With stuff like hanging up mistletoe (for the Christmas party) and decorating the tree! Plus a taste of Grems secret present for Nikolai… hehe
Nikolai belongs to @bowlerhatwearer, and the funny cool koala downing a glass of nog belongs to @pinky-the-polar-bear
Fashion designer Loris Azzaro embodied an era. His fashion house, founded in Paris in 1967, was known for visionary silhouettes, slinky silk jerseys, daring cut-outs, and ornate beading and embroidery.
Starting with his wife and muse Michelle, Azzaro (b. Tunisia, 1933; d. Paris, 2003) created clothes for beautiful women – among them Sophia Loren, Raquel Welch, Marisa Berenson, Isabelle Adjani, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard, and Nicole Kidman. His style was seductive and modern, imbued with audacity and Parisian elegance. He created both mens’ and womens’ collections, and became well known for his perfumes.
Filled with interviews with people who knew and worked with Azzaro, this sumptuous new book focuses on themes important to the designer: style, inspiration, contemporaneity, perfumes, and family. The stunning illustrations include photographs from the Azzaro archives by Helmut Newton, Guy Bourdin, and other well-known fashion photographers, as well as magazine covers from Vogue, Elle, and more.

🔺 what was grem's adoptive grandparents like? (his dad's parents)

"Well, Dads parents were Granny Simona and Poppy Alan, and he had two sisters. Poppy Alan was usually off in his mushroom garden (for some reason that was the only thing he grew), so I'd go off in there with him and blab about my day while he listened. Granny Simona always made me tea or hot chocolate, and she'd do puzzles with me. Honestly, they didn't exactly easily understand how Dad is gay-- at least from what he told me-- but they loved their son and his family anyway, and tried to support him when they could.
"Granny Simona died when I was 14, and Poppy Alan when I was 20.
"Pa's parents were Gramma Felicity and Grampa Thomas, and an only child. Felicity was actually Pa's aunt who had adopted him, but don't tell him I know that. He doesn't know in the first place.
"Anyway, Grampa died when I was little and I don't remember him too much. Pa says it was from cancer. I kinda remember being... maybe 3 or 4? At Christmas, and being bounced in his lap while watching a movie. Gramma Felicity lived pretty long though. She loved to travel around and see the world, and always brought us back a souvenir. Pa says she was a little more understanding of him, and apparently bought him a pride flag a week after he came out to her.
"She died when I was like... 30, I think? But she was cool."

My attempts in creating sprites similar to those from the 1st and 2nd Pokémon Generation. Featuring Nikolai Akdow (with and without his disguise) and @pan-fried-autism's Grementine Mewton :-.)
