#the mdzs fandom is so unsufferable#especially with how it seems like now that folks are losing the#‘everyone is morally gray!’ argument#from just the book canon#they’re now tryna argue that ‘mxtx said so!’#knowing full goddamn well she ain’t said no such thing#somehow y’all read interviews enough to know that she said wen chao and jin zixun are flat antagonists#but not enough to see where she said that wangxian are the moral ideals we are meant to strive towards#‘everyone is equally bad!’ says someone who thinks that#wwx stating he could easily kill a character if he wants but he does not want to#is equal to characters actually verifiably murdering people#out of a sense of superiority and misplaced aggression#go to hell
