Note: Another one-sitting fiction. I feel like I could’ve expanded this, narration-wise. But I think this is pretty decent, so hope you like it.

‘Ugh, this is gross! Why do people chew gums if they can’t carry out the responsibility to throw it properly?’

‘Ganadaramabasaa hakuna matata! A! Nanana nanananana nananananana.’

‘Shit! Where’s my key? Fuck, don’t tell me I left it upstairs. Arrgh! I hate myself.’

‘Alright, you can do this. You can do this, Minji-ya. You’ll get through the presentation. You’ll do great. Just breathe.’

‘Why does the cat do not meow back to me? This is a sad way to start the week.”

‘BABYYY! YOU’RE MY LADY! Oh? Be my lady? You’re my lady? Nevermind. BABY, YOU ARE MY ANGEEELLL!”

“STOP SINGING SO LOUDLY! YOU’RE SINGING IN YOUR HEAD FOR GOODNESS’ SAKE, HOW COULD YOU BE SO OUT OF TONE? AND STOP THINKING SO LOUDLY ALTOGETHER!” you slam on your table and shout out to everyone within your perimeter. You know today is going to be a tough day simply because you started on your schedule late, meaning that you have to grab your daily latte when the café is already packed with half-alive people.

You’re trying to eat your tuna sandwich on the outdoor table to get away from the crowded buzz of people giving up on life and hanging their hope on caffeine, but the few people outside wouldn’t allow you that. Well, frankly, it’s not them, it’s you. As overused as that sentence is, it’s still the truth. You won’t have to deal with people’s thoughts if you couldn’t read their mind. Yeah, it’s pretty cool, whatever. Try to live with it, though, you’ll see how tiresome it is. People just can’t shut up. That’s why you shouted in the first place. You don’t need people whining, cursing, or singing in your head. You know shouting wouldn’t help your case because you can’t control your ability and again, people just can’t shut up. But this is too much for your Monday morning.

“Thank you very much. That’s better,” you whisper to yourself as the ruckus inside those people’s minds reducing to a calmer ponder of is that lady okay? You take a sip of your hot latte—hazelnut this time—when an inward gasp dominates the string of thoughts in your head.

‘Oh no, the cat’s going to jump for her sandwich.’

You put your cup haphazardly to look at your lunch box—or breakfast box? Does that even make any difference?—where you placed your tuna sandwich to slam your palms on the table. And true to the man’s thought, a millisecond later, there’s a cat leaping to the chair in front of you and ready to spring for your sandwich if only you don’t put it away in a speed of a cheetah. Yeah, cat, you’re in no way a match for a cheetah. You growl at the cat, making it scurried away from your table, which in turn, makes you giggle. Oh, lord, please keep another mind readers away from me. It’s for their best interest, I promise.

Unbeknownst to you, the cat man—the man sitting on the table across from yours who warned you about the stealer cat—has been watching the little interaction you had with the cat. You clear your throat a few times before raising your head to acknowledge his gaze. “Um, thank you! For the warning,” you said with too much excitement for your taste. And although the man’s trying to politely smile at you, his frowning brows and incredulous eyes are pretty obvious, and just a second too late, you understand why.

He didn’t warn you. Well, at least, not vocally. When you shout while looking at the general direction of nowhere like you did after the false note of someone singing triggered your temper minutes earlier, it’s okay. Your earphones still can save you. But now that you address the man specifically, you know you’ve messed up.

“Um, I-I saw your panic expression from my peripheral view, so, you know, I just…” your words trail off with an awkward laugh.

‘Was I that panic, though? I was just—nevermind, where did she get that sandwich anyway, that looks good. It smells good enough to attract the cat, who by the way, didn’t even respond to my series of meow. But he did, though, when she growled at him. Well, he didn’t meow, he basically screeched. He should learn his lesson. But she was more cute than scary, though. Crap! She must’ve noticed I’m staring. Uh, her red cheeks are cute. Crap, Jun, stop it. Look away. Wait, she was talking to me, should I respond? I mean, it made me a little bit sad that the cat wouldn’t respond to me, so, she—ugh. Stop it, Jun. Stop it. AND STOP STARING.’

You clear your throat once more as you lower your hand and progress to close your lunch box, opting to escape the situation at hand as soon as you possibly can and continue your eating in the privacy of your office. But your hand halts when his thought streams into yours yet again.

‘No, no, no, no, she’s packing. Junhui, why are you like this? She must’ve been able to read what your thinking about just from your expression alone. Don’t freak her out like you freaked the cat out, I beg you.’

You almost choked on your saliva when he thought about mind reading, but fortunately, you both are thinking of a different mind reading. “Zero, one, one-zero, one-one, one-zero-zero, one-zero-one, one-one-zero,” you mumble, counting in binary to distract you from the cat man’s—Junhui—incoming wave of thoughts.

And distracts you it does, for you fail to notice he has risen up from his seat and planted himself on the chair in front of you within your count of zero to six, replacing the cat he was trying to get acquaintance with less than half an hour ago. “One-one-ONE!” you exclaims when you do realize the distance Junhui has cut off by sitting on your table.

“What?! Wh-wh-wh-why? Why? Why? Did you say nine-one-one? What-what happens? I’m-I’m sorry. Did I scare you? I-I-I just—“ Junhui doesn’t finish his sentence. Instead, he stands up—at least halfway—obviously not quite knowing what to do. His eyes are comically wide, and you can’t help but snort when you hear him repeating the words nine-one-one and why over and over again in his head. This is so ridiculous.

“Why, why, now you’re laughing.”

“No, no, no, I’m sorry,” you snort, again, “I’m sorry. This is so funny—so, so funny.”

“What is? Why-why did you yell nine-one-one when I sat down?” he asks, his body still uncomfortably half-standing, weight leaning on his hand on the back of the chair, and eyes still blown wide. You take in his appearance and let out a small scoff. Despite his manly exterior, his eyes give out such an innocent air about him, childlike even.

“You can sit down,” you say, the trace of laughter still very much apparent in your words. “I didn’t yell out nine-one-one. It’s one-one-one. Don’t think too much about that, it’s just what I do. And yeah, you did kinda scare me. Just, uh, a little bit.” You bite your lips to prevent yourself from bursting into another set of laughter as you continue your binary counting, not wanting to hear his answer before he expresses it aloud himself.

Junhui drops himself on the chair, exhaling his much-needed air, head thrown back and eyes tightly closed. “You scared me!”

“What, why?” Now it’s your turn to look at him with wide eyes.

“Nine-one-one! What if someone else thought they heard nine-one-one instead of one-one-one and actually call nine-one-one?”

You chuckle. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to do that. I didn’t see you walking from your table to mine, but you suddenly appear in front of me just like that! Of course, I was surprised. Why did you go over here in the first place?”

“Just because.”

‘You are cute.’

God damn it! Keep your counting, buddy! One-zero-one-one, one-one-zero-zero, one-one-zero-one.

“I thought I might regret it if I don’t introduce myself to you.”—one-one-one-zero, one—

“I think you’re cute, so—“

“ONE-ONE-ONE! DAMN IT! I don’t think he’d actually say that out loud. Oh, no, SHIT! You can hear me. Yeah, you can hear me.” You can see him nodding through your half-ducked head. “Hahahahaha, oh, lord, oh, God, oh, earth would you swallow me, right now, do it and I’ll be grateful for the rest of my life, he, hehe, hehehe, shut up, buddy, shut up, stop rambling,” you murmur. But from Junhui’s laughter, you know that he can definitely hear you.

“You’re cute,” he repeats, as though hearing it the first time wasn’t enough to cause shortage to the wires of your brain.

“Yeah, as cute as a clown can be. Now, if you’d excuse me, I need to go find a new face to replace this one. Apparently, I can’t save it from the burn of my embarrassment.”

“I’m Jun,” he states, but you don’t pause and continue to gather your stuff.

“I know that,” you blurt out, and then, “Shit! No, haha, no, I don’t know that. How could I know? See, gotta go! Need a new face!”

You’ve only walked a few steps away from your tables when Jun caught your arm. “You can read mind, can’t you?”

“What?!”

“Yes, you can. I can’t believe I meet another mind reader!”

“Wait, wait, what? You-you’re a—“

“Nope. My friend is, so don’t ask me how I know that you are, too.” Jun ends his sentence with a little smirk and as you start to wonder the reason why, he let you know.

‘So, you’ve known all along that I think you’re cute.’

“Stop that,” you warn him, but he persists.

‘Ah, so your cheeks were red because you heard me thinking that you’re cute. Is that why, huh? Tell me—wait, what’s your name? Unlike you, I can’t find out someone’s name from reading their minds, you know. “I’m Jun.””I know that.”’

“I didn’t sound like that! And you can speak, you know? Ask my name properly!”

‘Well, I guess I’ll let Minghao meet you and read your mind for me.’

“You can’t do that!”

You know that to the passerby, you look like a mad—or pathetic—person, whisper-shouting your words to a man who doesn’t even bother to reply. You huff and walk away from Jun, throwing your cup of half-empty latte to the trashcan on your way.

“Hey, wait!” he hollers.

You don’t wait. You refuse to wait. You’re a boss. You have your own office. You don’t wait. You make people wait. Wait, that doesn’t sound right.

“Hey, I’m sorry! What’s your name? Wait up!”

You hear his steps behind you, but you only bolt up running, shouting in glee, “I have no name! You won’t recognize the new face I’ll buy! You won’t find me!”

But then you stop short, for Jun repeats your name over and over again in his head. You whirl around only to see Jun holding the cup of coffee you’ve thrown away in his hand.

‘See, I know it’s true when I said to Minghao I don’t need mind reading. I’ll find you again. Miss—uh—one-one-one, is it?’

“Hey! I have a name, and you know it! It’s not one-one-one!”

‘Indecisive, I see. You said you have no name, and now you do.’

“SHUT UP!”

‘I ain’t talking, though.’

You turn away from him and stomp your way to the parking lot, determined not to think about the cat man anymore.

“Don’t miss me!” Jun yells out smugly.

Huh, now he’s talking, the audacity.

“Don’t call nine-one-one when you do!”

“SHUT UP, JUNHUI!”

‘Done it, sweetheart.’

God, and you thought he’s innocent.

“Okay Wonwoo, I’m leaving now.”

“Take your time Y/N, I think that’ll be better—“

“Are you saying that to kill you some time?”

“… No.” A half giggle bursts out the both of you, the smiles almost visual through the phone, “I’ve just started preparing.”

“Hm, I’ll grant you the lucky chance Mr. Jeon, I’ll walk extra slowly for you.”

“My saviour-“ Suddenly, rustling comes through the phone, hurting your ears a bit. “Minguk! Please don’t jump on my back, you’re going to get hurt!”

“I can’t wait to see ‘Guk either,” You smile, hearing the babbles and noises from the child.

“It’s strange how energetic he is. He can’t stay still…” Wonwoo whines, and you reassure him with a chuckle and a few wishes to him.

“Tell him I can’t wait to see him-“

Booming through the speaker, a boyish voice comes through. “Hi Y/N!”

“Hi Minguk.” Although you can’t see him, you make wave with your hand. “Is Uncle ‘Woo setting up the table?”

“I’m helping him!”

“Really? Wow! How manly, you’re so cool Minguk!”

Wonwoo’s voice comes back into the scene after a while, “Minguk ran away, I think he got flustered with you saying that.”

“Oh my. Well, I think that’ll be my signal to leave.”

“Look after yourself. You remember the dorm right?”

“Yes, yes I do.”

“Just making sure-“

“And Wonwoo?”

“‘Sup?”

“‘Extra slow’.”

Wonwoo’s lips tug, eyes staring down at the table markings. “Extra slow.”

And Wonwoo is the one to hang up, drumming his fingers on the table, thinking thoroughly to himself. After his small chain of thoughts, he stands up, walking to get utensils before his nephew runs and koala hugs his leg, giggling loudly at Wonwoo’s sour face.

“‘Guk, you’re so hyper, you’re going to get tired later on when Y/N comes along. Here,” He picks Minguk up — After attempts of prying him off his leg — and lets the younger hold the spoons as they set them on the table.

However, the plan goes wrong halfway through as Minguk falls into a heap of giggles, his energy boosting to its peak. He can’t stay still. He also cannot hold his affections to himself, judging by the peppering kisses all over Wonwoo’s cheek and cute actions to get the latter’s attention.

Resisting, Wonwoo shuts his eyes tight, mumbling “Goodness I didn’t ask for another Mingyu in this household… Even your names are alike…”

But Minguk kisses him on the forehead once more which gets him flustered.

When you arrive, things go smoothly.

The food is great (Wonwoo had great food choices), you had time to play with Minguk (who passed out on in the middle of Wonwoo telling the story of Rapunzel — and you too if he did not tap on your shoulder — now peacefully sleeping on the couch), and truthfully, it felt refreshing being with Wonwoo out of work, being free to talk about whatever is on your minds (especially getting lost into Wonwoo’s facial expressions when he starts to mumble).

It came to the point where you lost track of what were you talking about, and just kept a natural flow of what you were discussing, engaging and laughing at embarrassing stories.

For the most part, Wonwoo mentioned stories about his friends a lot, which was interesting in itself.

“Wait, wait hold on. So he liked her, but she couldn’t like him because she liked him?”

“If we’re not adding side stories, then yeah.”

“Oh my god. Sounds crazy.”

“You had to be there to fully understand it, it was almost like living in a drama — Miscommunication and yada yada yada…”

“Would you say it beats your story?”

“Of course not. There’s no ‘almost death’ so it’s barely there,” He jokes and you laugh along, “I mean I think the fighting story is near that level, but that was take during a legal fight.”

“Fair point—“

The door bursts open, scaring you,almost swinging violently if it wasn’t for the ironing board behind it.

“TELL YOUR SHITTY BEST FRIEND WEN JUNHUI TO FUCK OFF-“

A man stomps in, throwing his belongings across the room. By his face and tone, you can tell he clearly wasn’t happy; By Wonwoo’s face, you could tell he was used to the outburst of anger and that he’s clearly tired by it.

Clearing his throat, Wonwoo bluntly replies. “One, you’re my best friend Mingyu, not Jun — I mean he kinda is but I say he is to poke fun at you. Two, can you not?” His finger points to Minguk, followed by Mingyu’s wide eyes.

Noticing the child waking up, Mingyu jumps back. “HE’S HERE OH FUC-“

“Language!” The male’s voice shuts up by your interruption, and looks over to you with squinting eyes as your attention is drawn on the young boy waking up from his nap.

“Who the heck are you…” He tilts his hand, throwing a hand over his mouth to try and hide the smile thats growing. “Oh… OH! MY ROOMMATE WONWOO IS FINALLY GETTING IT ON! I CAN’T BELIEVE—“

Wonwoo throws a tissue roll at Mingyu and hits him perfectly on the head. Soon after, he turns to you, rubbing his eyes to relieve stress. “Ignore him. He’s sometimes like this.”

The focus adverts to the sound of crying coming from the couch. You and Wonwoo forgot he was frightened to loud noises, which Wonwoo’s roommate had a ‘speciality’ in.

“Minguk!” You acclaim simultaneously as Wonwoo says ‘Oh crap!’

He runs to Minguk and picks him up in his arms, rocking him a bit while soothing him with hushes. “It’s okay, Uncle Woo is here now, Uncle Mingyu is just a bit grumpy and needs some time to relax,” He emphasises ‘relax’, “and he’s using very boring words… We don’t like boring words, right ‘Guk?” He asks, obviously referring to the curses that fell from Mingyu’s mouth like a waterfall, receiving a sleepy nod from the little one. “Good, good… Let’s put you in my bed, where it’s quiet this time.”

Before leaving, Wonwoo mouths ‘Sorry’ to you and glares at Mingyu, walking to his room with the door slightly open when he and Minguk enter.

Sheepishly, Mingyu waddles to your destination and picks up a grape and a piece of Wonwoo’s food — at least he had manners — chewing quietly, before throwing another grape in his mouth as if he was going to say something.

“So… The weather’s nice today huh?”

Introduction/Appreciation for SVT

This is going to be an appreciation/introduction try blog into Seventeen.

Seventeen is a 13 member group that debuted in May of 2015, under Pledis Entertainment. Their group name is representative of an equation, 13 members + 3 units +1 team = Seventeen. Their fandom name is ‘Carat’ and their fandoms colours are Rose Quartz and Serenity.

In this blog I will be giving a short description of each of the members just to give a brief overview of these amazing men. I’ve also included a video that I edited to try to help with identifying faces

»» S.Coups is known as SVT’s father, he is possibly one of the most caring leaders I know. 

»» He is a scaredy cat but at the same time you wouldn’t want to make him mad due to his seven years of learning Taekwondo. 

»» In the One Fine Day series, during any games that are being played or any decisions that need to be made, S.Coups get very passionate and competitive. 

»» To explain his stage name, the “S” stands for Sungcheol and Seventeen and Coups means “big success”. 

»» Despite his outward appearance he is quite affectionate and sentimental, he truly cares for his members, a recent example of this is when someone threw their phone onto stage, as S.Coups picked it up to give it to security you could clearly see he was upset.

»» This man’s singing is absurdly incredible. One of his nicknames is Angel, which backed up by his angelic voice (<-okay, sorry that was a bit much, but you get my point), but seriously the nickname comes from his birthday, Oct 4th, 1004, which in Korean is “Cheonsa” which means “Angel”. 

»» Jeonghan will literally nap anywhere he can, he has called himself the weakest member simply because he tires easily. 

»» He may seem quiet but he is not always like that, he can get sassy at times. 

»» Jeonghan is also known as the mother of the group sometimes, he can always be seen helping the Chinese members if they are stuck and do not understand something. 

»» He is a truly valuable member of Seventeen.

»» Joshua

»» Gentleman Josh. He is one of the American members and him, along with Vernon, are mostly in charge of any English translations that are needed. 

»» This man is so dreamy, he can play guitar and sing like there is no limit, I would say that I think his vocals are one of the most under appreciated in the vocal team. 

»» He is extremely caring and can be seen looking after the younger members. He is known as the gentleman because he does not anger easily and he has a soft, gentle voice. 

»» Joshua is a Christian, he used to attend church often when he lived in America and was part of the chaplaincy team, playing guitar for them.

»» One of the gorgeous Chinese members. He has a quiet and mysterious charm about him that is very hard to resist, when in reality he is very extra and can get quite weird. 

»» Jun has quite a bit of confidence in his looks and, from what I remember, ranks himself third best looking. He was/is an actor in China. 

»» Jun is an affectionate member, he can be seen hugging the other members quite often. He isn’t the greatest at Korean but is still a very hardworker. 

»» Jun can be extremely soft and adorable, his smile is so contagious that you can’t help but smile.

»» Where do I even start with Prince Kwon. Well, first off, he is my UB if you haven’t noticed from my profile. I may begin rambling so I apologise in advance. 

»» His stage name Hoshi means ‘star’ in Japanese. 

»» He is one of the most hard working members in the group, he is the performance team leader and he also choreographs many of the group's dances. 

»» You would not want to meet him in a dark alley though, he is a black belt in Taekwondo and he says that many poses in Taekwondo are similar to dancing and that’s how he became interested in dancing. 

»» The passion he has while participating in his art whether it be through his singing or dancing is breathtakingly gorgeous, he could make even the coldest person feel warm. 

»» He has the most aegyo I swear, he is so squishy and adorable, watch him at fansigns melts my heart. 

»» One of his nicknames is 10:10 because of the shape of his eyes. 

»» Hoshi is incredibly adorable off stage, looking out for younger members and incredibly rude on stage, but hey, I’m not complaining.

»» He will forever be my favourite SHINee fanboy. His fanboy side is absolutely adorable.

»» Our deep voiced rapper, omg. He may come off as harsh in the beginning due to his sharp features and cold outside but he is honestly a really kind hearted person.

»» In the words of one of my friends “Not only is he cute but he is gorgeous, tall, and has a voice deeper than the pacific ocean”.

»» He works very hard to bring his positive energy to the other members and to Carats. Dk, Seungkwan and Hoshi make the gag trio, known as comedy relief, they aim to bring smiles and happiness into others.

»» Ahhhh Housewife Ming, he is so  adorable. Mingyu is known for being the visual of the group, as is evident by his amazingly good looks.

»» He is the member who eats the most, he can be seen eating in the background of pretty much any videos of SVT.

»» He is both the tallest and the loudest members out of the group. Many of the members have said that he is a lot different from their original thoughts of him. As one of my other friends said, his looks is contrasted by his personality, he looks like a chic and cool guy but honestly he is a giant adorable puppy.

»» Mingyu is known as Housewife Ming because he is good with his hands, he cooks and cleans, he is also able to repair things.

»» His rapping is absolutely amazing and could make the angels weep, I love his voice so much.

»» Gorgeous, gorgeous Minghao, this human being is absolutely adorable. He is so fluffy and gorgeously shy, this is due to his inability to understand Korean at times.

»» His singing and dancing are both amazing, being hypnotized by him is extremely easy while watching him dance. He is in charge of ‘b-boying’ in the group and will often be seen doing a fancy flip, like in Don’t Wanna Cry.

»» He has been practising the art of Wushu (chinese martial arts) since he was five years old. On their most recent Weekly Idol appearance he exhibits his skills. He also won a prize at the National Children’s martial arts competition.

»» Minghao is exceedingly hardworking, he is not great at Korean, yet he still perseveres in learning and growing.

»» If you ever have spare time you should definitely have a look at some of his fancams, he is an incredible dancer.

»» Baby DiCaprio. Vernon is well known for looking quite similar to Leonardo DiCaprio.

»» His rapping is simply jaw-dropping. The iconic lines that he has in them middle of his raps are unforgettable. My favourite is “You’re so ice ice baby”, not sure why, I just always get excited to hear it.

»» Memesol, of course, is another  adorable aspect of Vernon. I can never get enough of the random screenshots I’ve found of him pulling the weirdest faces.

»» His dancing should be illegal, and he needs to learn how to keep his tongue in his mouth. I’m signing a petition to make Vernon’s dancing illegal.

»» When he imitates the others singing, I can’t help but smile, especially when he tries to do Seungkwan’s parts. But in reality he has quite a lovely singing voice.

»» His friendship with Seungkwan never fails to make me smile.

»» And I also love his love for his family, he cares so much for his parents and his sister, you can tell he misses them a lot.

»» Our adorable Maknae. Dino is so adorable and always gets teased for being the youngest.

»» He admires Michael Jackson so much, his covers of Apink’s nonono and EXID’s up and down with a Michael Jackson twist is absolutely endearing.

»» His stage name is an abbreviation of Dinosaur because he wishes to dominate the stage.

»» As he is part of the performance team, he is an incredible dancer. Despite his age he is advanced in his art form and it is simply amazing to watch his dance.

»» His laugh and smile are both amazingly contagious, can never help but smile with him.

»» He is always reluctant to agree that his is Jeonghan’s baby but we all know that he will always be the baby.

»» Dino’s rapping is also an extraordinary aspect to our little maknae.

Choi Seungcheol aka S.coups (cheolie) - OKAY AH since he’s your bias I’ll write extra thingsssss!! The faithful general leader and rap boyyy scoops! So this lil bun I thought for a while when I first followed them like oh he’s probably the most normal like he’s level headed and stuff but NOPE NOPE NOPE! SEUNGCHEOL IS ACTUALLY THE BIGGEST CUTIE DORK IN THE WORLD he is afraid of like a lot of things which is too funny bc he’s acts all manly and all the members see him that way and I cannot believe~ like he’s afraid of killing fish and and fireworks and being in front of the camera alone and chopping firewood and doing something that doesn’t get a reaction?? Whenever he does any sort of charm he tells the members to be sure to have a good reaction and BOYY IF THEY DONT he goes off on them I stg… but in all seriousness he is so so so hardworking (he trained for 6 years oh my god) like he always tries to take pressure off his members and he cares for his babies so much and they even call him appa sometimes and they look up to him so much it is the cutest thing like they always rate him so high in looks and I cry love him plz. But he is an actual puppy like w his long eyelashes and pouty face like oh my god and he is getting cuter everyday???? Like actually tho he’s doing it on purpose and I can’t handle it?? Wen Junhui/Moon Junhui(kor) aka Jun - so jun is ½ of china line and ¼ foreign line. A dancing noodle from southeast China wow (I say noodle bc he is a skinny bean and also v flexible bc he does martial arts things wow) he did Kung Fu in china for a long as heck time and does a lot of kicky things and flips and he’s super cool ALSO FUN FACT: HIS NAME IS JUN AND HE WAS BORN IN JUNE WOOHOO a lot of people assume he’s like sly/greasy but that’s mostly him in like interviewy shows?? But in reality shows and vlives he is actually just such a cute sweet bean and he loves the members so much! He was a child actor in china and was p famous I think for a while?? But he learned Korean p well before he joined pledis (their label btw idk if you know or not lol) BUT EVEN FROM DEBUT HIS PRONUNCIATION HAS KEPT IMPROVING IM SO PROUD a lot of people cal him the true visual of svt (tbh I don’t like that bc they’re all beautiful don’t put anyone down ah) BUT HE IS SO HANDSOME LIKE DAMN BOY HE’S GOT SUCH NICE FEATURES AND HE IS THE CUTEST BEAN IN THE WORLD Alsoooo several of the members have dubbed him svt’s mother bc he’s super encouraging and “endless positivity jun” and he pays special attention to minghao they have the purest friendship!! (plz give him lines)Kwon Soonyoung aka Hoshi (HOSH) - DANCE MASTER AND PERF TEAM LEADER OF SEVENTEEN LIKE OKAY ALL OF PERF TEAM IS SO TALENTED I CAN’T BELIEVE BUT SOONYOUNG IS SO INCREDIBLE HE CAN CREATE DANCES ANYTIME ANYWHERE AND HE EXECUTES THEM SO WELL?? His stage name Hoshi means star in Japanese bc he shines in stage! And he knows Japanese pretty well I don’t think he’s fluent but he cute cute cute!! Anyway people rec him to go on hit the stage (WHICH I AM SO HERE FOR (but also let him rest he needs a break dear god they all do)) he creates all of svt’s dances wow (w help from perf team ofc) but he is actually the squishiest sweetest boy off stage but then on stage he completely transforms into whatever concept like he can take on anything?? He goes by 10:10 bc his eyes are like the hands of a clock at 10:10 wowie and EYE SMILES FOR DAYS~ just a sweet lil bab w a pure heart honestlyJeon Wonwoo (wonu aka the loml) - goddammit I hate jeon wonwoo JKJK OKAY SO JEON WONWOO IS MY ULT BIAS IMMA DO MY BEST TO KEEP THIS CONCISE BUT IDK HOW IT’S GONNA GO I HAVE A LOT TO SAY! jeon frickin wonwoo has the deepest voice in svt and is known for his deep, smooth rap style wow (his rap style is really unique like if you listen to it it sort of ebbs and flows w the music and he drags out notes sometimes it’s so nice fuck) he sings all the time it’s so great and the members always ask him to read things bc (he’s good at reading generally and) he has his nice deep voice ahh~ JEON FRICKIN WONWOO IS THE BIGGEST DORK IN THE WHOLE WORLD jeon wonwoo enjoys making bad puns and reading books (esp romance ones I hate him). The other members act like they hate his jokes but they always laugh at what he says and when he was gone (rip he was sick for a couple months from end of may ish to july ish) they mentioned that they missed his dumb jokes (and so did I). He considers himself to be the best looking (what a ho) and he is naturally skinny which a lot of the members are jealous of (but tbh this could be partially because he has a lot of health issues and allergies I just want to care for him and make him food and feed him forever so he gets fat and happy help me) On one fine day he was dubbed the garden fairy and also jeon wonwoo bag of luck oh my god I am so embarrassed by him (jk I love him w the entirety of my heart in case you couldn’t tell) Some of my favorite things abt wonwoo are his little nose crinkles when he smiles and his glasses that look just so cute on him and when he wears big sweaters and then he has sweater paws and he looks so cuddly and soft. He is also so boastful like he is always the first one to support himself it’s so funny but he doesn’t exactly brag it’s more confidence idk but he’s also rlly smart and good at acrostic poems bc he reads so much:) He also always cheers for other members when they want him to i.e. seungkwan when he cheers for himself. He seems shy when he’s on talk shows but I think he just wants to let other people talk but on vlives he always whispers to other members aND I JUST WANT HIM TO SPEAK UP! It’s so heartbreaking tho if you ever want to cry and cough up your lungs bc of sobs then watch SVT Project where he talks abt how he feels so much pressure and feels like their success or failure is riding on him bc he writes all their music and will determine if they will be any good:(((( BUT OBVIOUSLY THEY ARE A BIG HIT BC JIHOONIE IS SUPER TALENTED AND MAKES THE BEST UPBEAT FUNKY FRESH POP TUNES OF THE CENTURY~ he is one of (if not the) shortest male idols at the moment at a staggering 165cm/5'4"! But it’s so great bc he doesn’t try to hide his heigh and he is considered and “inspiration to short men” according to one fashion report. The members always say he is rlly manly but on camera he acts cute and 10/10 appreciate it bc he is the cutest ever but only subtly… like he embarrassingly/shyly covers his face so cutely and gets angry so adorably where he just glares aw (he has also confirmed that he considers himself to be more cute than scary) woozi is a abbreviation of “our jihoon” which is the cutest asjkdhskl. He is also seventeen’s grandpa bc he is rlly not too hip at all but they try to help him out anyway! He also winks 24/7 lol. His voice is rlly clear and piercing like he often sings parts of the chorus and his voice draws you in idk it’s nice:) he trained for the second longest amount after scoops (5 years) so they’re super close bc they were together longer than the other membersLee Seokmin aka Dokyeom/DK - an actual ray of sunshine w the most incredible vocals like wow! He is svt’s “happy virus” and boy does he own it!! He is always smiling and laughing and making jokes he is the cutest I stg… He also has a more built figure physically and it’s hot as heck tbh. He, seungkwannie and soonyoung make up the “booseoksoon” trio which is basically the extra/mc/always laughing squad and they are such close friends it’s the cutest ever boo and hosh think he’s the funniest person in the world I love it!! Seokmin also puts a lot of pressure on himself bc he’s main vocal and I feel like he’s super underrated???? But he went on King of Masked Singer and I think he made it through two or three rounds? Anyway he did rlly rlly good (even tho honestly think he has way more potential than what he showed) and I hope it boosted his confidence bc he is incredible!! The judges assumed he was from an older group bc his voice was so mature eeeee!! HE IS SO LOUD OH MY GOD one time they said that the CEO could hear him practicing from the 4th floor while he was in the basement I- He is always the first person to make fun of himself and he doesn’t mind being the brunt of a joke as long as he gets people to laugh it’s adorable:)) He always brings up the mood and helps out the members whenever there is awkwardness w being filmed and such JUST SUPPORT THIS SUNNY BOY HE HAS SO MUCH LOVE AND JOY IN HIS HEART!!Kim Mingyu - the tallest bean on the block and svt’s “visual tree” at a staggering 190cm/6'1" (correct me if I’m wrong I didn’t look this up) but I’m p sure he has grown recently bc he is getting taller everyday I swear? He’s got some good rap mhmm~ But he is such a clumsy pup and the members always make fun of him but it’s okay bc he can take it (he has the best reaction so that’s why they do it) He is dropping things and tripping 25/8 and it’s the cutest thing! But “housewife ming” can legit do anything like he is a true man of many talents damn i.e. cooking, hairstyling, acting, cleaning… But he is so so pretty like who the heck allowed him to be this attractive?? Gyu goes from super visual savior to fluffy pup on the daily and it’s too much to handle… Idk he seems like he might be super cool and chic when you first see him but he is actually just a giggly fool always having a hard time… Mingyu is the only one in svt that I would call the “visual” (only bc he is officially the visual i think they are literally gorgeous okay!!) but he is actually rlly insecure abt it and only calls himself “aspiring visual” and it’s mostly bc of his dark complexion WHICH IS COMPLETELY FLAWLESS AND SO BEAUTIFUL STOP WHITEWASHING KIM MINGYU PLZ but i rlly commend him for being visual despite common opinions/standards on skin color in korea. A lot of people (okay most people) ship him and wonwoo (aka meanie) and I do too, don’t get me wrong, but my all time favorite ship is mingyu and minghao (aka gyuhao) bc same age, they act like they hate each other but are actually super supportive (one of my fave tropes blah) and idk they’re both just confused pups help me and w that transition…

Xu Minghao/Seo Myungho(kor) aka The8 (i never call him the8 ever srry b i don’t like it idk ah) - our “cool cutie” from northeast(i think) China with the most killer bboying skills i’ve ever seen in kpop! He now introduces himself as “The8 with infinite possibilities” and he has been growing more and more as an artist and a person I’m so proud of him!! He trained for the shortest amount of time (~1year+2months i believe) and he really struggled w Korean when he first started. Even after debut he was very quiet but he has been talking more and more lately and he has been doing so well!! Minghao is cute as heck but he is also (along w hannie) svt’s Resident Savage™ and the main usage of his Korean improvement has gone into calling out the other members w his incredible comebacks. Two of his favorite targets seem to be soonyoung and mingyu but he rlly doesn’t hold back on anyone (except maybe jun bc they are such good buddies bc china line and jun helps him w his korean asjkklfjls) But anyway he is an incredible dancer and singer and also rapper!! (give him more lines plz plz plz) vernon has been helping him w his korean rapping but he is already one lit mandarin rapper like damn… But minghao is the most supportive member of svt (hear me out) whenever they do broadcasts or radio shows minghao always gives thumbs ups/supportive smiles/high fives it is the purest thing and part of the reason I love him sm!!! He’s also super cuddly and is always touching/hugging the other members asjkltfasd. Sometimes he doesn’t quite understand a question and the other members help explain it to him it’s my favorite concept (it’s usually soonyoung or seungcheol but i’ve seen p much all of them do it) lately he has been getting more meme-y and idk how to feel but as long as he’s getting out of his comfort zone I am immensely proud of him:))

Boo Seungkwan (boo) - the other main vocal in svt and just generally the loudest and usually mc for the group. Boo has some of the most incredible vocals i’ve seen in my life and he sings probably my favorite cover duet of all time (the high note around 3:05 makes me emotional every time istg also their reactions are me) He’s so talented and his voice is so clear and nice and his RANGE! I could go on forever… To describe seungkwan in two words would be sweet and sassy… He is part of maknae/baby line but he’s always calling people out and bossing them around it’s hilarious. (he is generally hilarious tbh) Also he’s a huge volleyball program nerd it’s great (and possibly haikyuu!! but not confirmed) He’s commonly referred to as divaboo and the video just seungkwan things captures all his divaness perfectly 10/10 would rec! He’s also super english-y all the time probably bc he spends so much time w vernon which is great for us international fans whoop whoop. But back to him being sweet- even though he is definitely his own biggest fan (in the most adorable way omg) he is also svt’s biggest fan he always cheers on his members it’s so cute he’s so soft and good! He cares so much for the fans and he’s head of the Seventeen Fan Cafe (i think) and he’s great abt interacting w carats and all that fanservicey stuff:) He is also super underappreciated honestly support him bc he supports everyone else even tho he’s rlly insecure abt his looks and body even tho he is the most beautiful boo w THE BEST CHEEKBONES IN THE UNIVERSE HAVE YOU SEEN THOSE THINGS DAMN BOY

Hansol Vernon Chwe/Choi Hansol(kor) aka Vernon (bernonie) - One of the most well-known members of svt bc he’s half white and was also a child actor. He has some of the most lit raps tbh and i’m p sure every single one (or almost) has english in it lol. His mom is white and American and his dad is from Korea. Technically he was born in New York, USA BUT BUT BUT he moved to korea when he was five so he doesn’t remember it like at all and every host ever asks him abt it and he always has to say he is basically korean and JUST LET HIM LIVE but since his mom speaks english he is fluent in it (but he has said he is better at korean) He is super super visual and he gets more attractive every day like who the heckkk. Hansol is one of the more popular members so a lot of people would expect him to be outgoing (or even douchey bc he’s half white which is dumb yet it happens) but he is one of the quietest members and usually doesn’t speak up in interviews and such bc he’s kinda shy! BUT THIS DOES NOT I REPEAT DOES NOT MEAN HE IS NOT A MEME!! VERNON IS CONFIRMED THE MEMEIST MEMBER OF SVT ALONG W JOSHUA DON’T FIGHT ME. At this point he has even been dubbed “memesol” bc he makes the best reaction faces in recorded history dear god. He also finds literally everything so hilarious and definitely laughs the most whenever the other members do anything. But honestly he is a super cute, sweet pup who deserves a whole lotta love!! also kinda unrelated but one of my favorite posts of all time is dedicated to him i don’t even know…

Lee Chan aka Dino (MY SON) - I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START W THIS LIL BAB! Lee Chan is svt’s “small giant” maknae who is Michael Jackson’s #1 Fan™ and literal dancing machineeee! He has grown so much since debut i cannot believe and he is getting more confident MY BOY! Honestly his glow up should be some kinda world record bc oh my god it hasn’t even been two years?? AND HIS RAP HAS IMPROVED SO MUCH LIKE EVEN FROM JAM JAM TO OMG Vernon rapped most of jam jam but then in omg chan rapped all of it by himself!!!! ALSO EVEN FROM OMG TO HIGHLIGHT NOW HE TRANSITIONS FROM RAPPING STRAIGHT INTO SINGING WITH THE SAME BREATH I CANNOT BELIEVE!! But he is so creative and funny and full of energy!! He helps hoshi w most of the dances (i think he did most of the choreo for jam jam) and his stage name is dino bc when he steps on the stage he takes it over and becomes a big presence like a dinosaur which is so creative??? he also graduated high school a while back and then just too his entrance exams!! I’m so proud!! But he tries so hard to keep improving and he’s just so pure and has a complete heart of gold♥ He also aspires to be an mc and he works rlly hard to improve his skills on that front too! Chan is so incredibly talented, but again not a whole lot of people bias him which is crazy???? Bc he is so hansome and also my son?? also lowkey savage af But all the members love him a whole lot and he is their baby, even though he is now “an adult” but srry bun no one will probably ever stop calling him baby (esp jeonghan)
