After finishing the 12 days of cinemagraph-mas I wanted to do more cinemagraph but was lacking inspiration on what to do.

I eventually decided to try and do a Tarot card. I didn't know which one to do so I decided to do all the Major Arcana.

Then I decided to just do all of them and post them all at the same time.

so we all know i'm horrible at posting consistently on any social media but its especially worse on tumblr and for that i apologize Dx

but ive been reworking all my tarot prints lately to incorporate the new border that i used on the Lovers card! these might be blurry bc i had to resize them for the internet to be happy but i promise the prints are high quality haha

i've been posting a lot more on my instagram (@henriheffronstudio) because im selling stickers on my etsy and i have more traffic there than here, which is really my own fault bc i never post here but anyway

The Lovers: Lumity and Raeda

Upright: Love, unions, partnerships, relationships, romance, choice, balance, unity, harmony, shared values, communication

Reversed: Disharmony, imbalance, relationship issues, conflict, detachment, indecision, disconnection, miscommunication

For the card of love, relationships, and unity, the show’s two most ‘major’ romantic ships were obvious choices. Both relationships have their ups and downs, but Luz and Amity’s relationship is primarily very healthy, balanced, and harmonious. They bring out the best in each other, and communicate their concerns when they encounter conflict or setbacks. It might be young love, but it’s real love. They consistently choose each other over and over again, approaching everything life (the plot) has thrown at them as a team.

Raeda is the other side of the romance coin; more mature and bittersweet, full of tension and baggage. While it’s clear that Raine and Eda care deeply for each other, a lack of communication due to their respective issues and trauma (Eda’s fear of hurting Raine due to her curse, Raine’s decision to join a coven despite Eda’s dislike for the system) created disharmony between them, eventually leading to a separation that lasted many years. Even so, time heals all wounds, and these two were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to reconnect and reestablish the love they’ve always carried for each other.

Tarot: The Lover & The Devil

The Lover (VI) and the Devil (XV) represent the duality of the Number 6. In Numerology, Life Path 6 is the path of the caregiver, the nurturer, and the healer. It's a path of unity and service to others (partnerships, etc.) alongside desire and temptation.

Under the right conditions, the Devil can easily become the Lover, and the Lover into the Devil.

At first glance, the Lovers and the Devil look almost indistinguishable; however, if you look closely you may notice there are some key contrasts. Something I think that’s interesting is that regardless of whether you’re looking at the Lover or the Devil, the two subjects are never alone. They always have each other.
