hello! i’m ciela, from the legend of zelda: phantom hourglass, and i’m looking for anybody (yes, even you linebeck)! i’m pretty sure i already know who the other spirits from my canon are, but you can still interact!! i’d really like to talk to link, tetra/zelda, and grandpa (oshus) again! if it helps i remember me and the other two spirits having human forms, and have even made picrews of them!

i decide to replay the legend of zelda: phantom hourglass, i am immediately hit in the face with why i kin ciela, i put it down, repeat until i beat the game, do it all again a few months later

Linebeck Headcanons (Legend of Zelda, Phantom Hourglass)

Every man in his family is named Linebeck. he doesn't know where the name comes from, and as far as he knows, neither do any of his predecessors.

He's lactose intolerant, and what he drinks at the milk bar is various milk alternatives. It's a secret only the bartender is aware of.

Post game, with his repaired boat, Linebeck will occasionally "accidentally" run into Tetra, Link, and the rest of their crew while they're adventuring to step in and act like a hero even, when it's completely unnecessary.

No one can get him to shut up about everything he and Link got up to. No one. He is often a nuisance at the milk bar and will tell the same stories over and over.

He will even tell those stories to people who were present for them, most prominently Tetra and Link. Tetra doesn't tolerate it, but Link sometimes humors him and listens like he's never heard it before.

Linebeck gets less greedy, though he never completely loses interest in treasure hunting. But when he does go looking for treasure, he's much more interested in the actual adventuring aspect than he was before.

Linebeck really hates touching fish with his hands. He thinks they're slimy and weird feeling and will use any excuse he can to not handle them directly when he goes fishing.

When Link is adventuring far away from wherever Linebeck is, they send each other letters. Linebeck gets really into wax seals and puts arguably way too much effort into each one he puts on the letters. Link saves them all.
