Krist finally got an opportunity to have his OWN SOLO CONCERT, FIRST EVER, as a popular Asian singer and performer he could totally steal the spotlight for hours

but what he did? Immediately reunited three original legendary GMMTV BL couples on the stage (KristSingto, OffGun and TayNew), invited his best friends and both of his on-screen boyfriends (one of whom isn't even in the agency anymore)

while giving opportunity for Gawin to keep performing together because GMM didn't give them new BL or other musical duet promo as they repeatedly both said they wanted.

And all those people and famous respected BL actors were absolutely happy to be on the same stage with him or come to support him, as well as queer friends and especially queer fans. Seriously, it's like half of the industry came to watch Krist's concert, they even made GMMTV CEO dance and vibe!:D

while he himself was absolutely gleeful and happy surrounded by them and even cried few times from overwhelming feelings

That old stupid unfounded rumor of him being homophobic that's been retold in infinite amount of clickbait tweets and tiktok videos out of context simply must cease to exist because if you refuse to listen, see and learn... I have nothing to say. I'll just show.

Thinking about the Mock-Trailer for The Ex-Morning

Pathapi is said to be the Best Reporter of the Year in the beginning. How. I want to know his career accomplishments so badly? I need to know how he got here!

I’ve been considering why Pathapi acts the way he does in the beginning. Has he always been like, since his university days? Or was it perhaps heartbreak and the passage of time that’s made him more like this? 

Aou is being made to play the exasperated best friend in Be My Favorite and the rival with coffee thrown on him in The Ex-Morning. Someone give both characters a raise. And a boyfriend!

I looooove the trope of the arrogant, whiny jerkass in a successful position who gets humbled. And that paired with him rebuilding his reputation with his ex-boyfriend of all people? I am so ready to see Pathapi’s character arc, and the things Tamtawan makes him do in this trailer makes me think he’ll get more in-tune with the spirit of good reporting and why it’s so important.

How does Tamtawan know and decide to come back? Obviously, he wants to help Pathapi and is still in love with him, but why did he leave? WHY DID HE LEAVE? Later in the trailer, when present-day Tamtawan leaves, it’s after he’s told “Tam. You have two options now.” What are the two options? The way Tamtawan leaves and the look on his face makes him look regretful, but what exactly is motivating him trying to leave here? Why did he leave in the first place? Does Pathapi know? His face looks half confused rather than just heartbroken!

What has Tamtawan been up to? I am intrigued.

The SOTUS reference in their university days flashback? I am obsessed. They were so sweet in that one frame, it makes me wonder how they fell in love. How different were they? How much of the same remains in them? How did they fall in love? Oh my god!

The transition from Pathapi being awkward with shirtless only-clothed-in-a-towel Tamtawan to taking his own shirt off and asking if Tamtawan has an ulterior motive to fluster him is hilarious to me. I love how forward Pathapi is here! And Tamtawan getting flustered is amazing. Oh my god, I love this trailer. It balances a comedic tone, angst, tension, etc all in one show. Can’t help but adore it.

“You’re still the same selfish jerk.” I need to know what happened! I said this above and I’m saying it again. I am intrigued.

Uni Tamtawan pulling Pathapi by his tie? I am obsessed.

The umbrella scene is both so very P’Lit and so very much a SOTUS reference, it delights me. I wonder how many SOTUS references we’ll have in the show proper.

I wonder if the car accident will coincide with the climax of the show.

That! Last! Scene! I suppose this is a scene when they’re hooking up but not properly together, seeing as they’re flirting, shirtless, and probably just had sex, but still won’t admit they still like each other. This sounds great to me.

I’ve mostly not talked about the meta elements here, because I feel it’s less about the contents of the actual trailer and more about the nature of the series as such a KristSingto RPF-type plot. Anyway, I love it. Everything about the meta of this series is perfect to me, and exactly what I wanted. This show is SO fun to think about when you know about the lore of KristSingto in real life. I’m half expecting Tamtawan to have hazed Pathapi at this point!

Side note that is not a side note: I LOVE THEIR ACTING! I love their characters!

Is this vers? I’m going to say it’s vers or Top Krist until proven wrong, because that last scene? Well. Let’s put the KristSingto into the KristSingto.

I love the small cast and the focus on KristSingto! I just need to say this. I am so excited for this comeback, in-part because it really is just Tamtawan and Pathapi’s story.

Tamtawan is supposed to mean “follow” and “sun” whereas Pathapi means earth/soil/ground. Coming off of KongArt, where Arthit is obviously “sun,” and KristSingto, who compare themselves to the sun and moon, this seems so definitely meaningful. Aof and Lit, I need to know what you’re cooking! 

The coals scene is sooooo perfect, both for the characters AND KristSingto themselves. Again bringing it back to the meta of it all, but, oh my god? This is perfect? Aof wrote a screenplay that was KristSingto RPF? On that note, I keep thinking about the idea of KristSingto channeling their feelings from the irl work-partner “break up” and it makes me go a little crazy. Especially with Krist talking about all his efforts to bring Singto back, and how he over-thought it when Singto left. And even more so seeing as they say they’re basically playing themselves.

The lyrics of the song used in the trailer are so fitting, I am now looping it and thinking about Pathapi and Tamtawan forever and ever.

I noticed that Tamtawan goes by “Tam” but did I miss it for Pathapi in the trailer, or do we get no indication of his nickname? I’m curious.

The “Begin Again” for the new Peraya Party speaks to both KristSingto and their new characters, and this is again making me go, oh god it’s true they’re just playing themselves.

I said my ideal KristSingto BL was a vers exes-to-lovers that parallels reality. Evidently, I was not alone.

Is it just me, or do the Pathapi + animals and Pathapi + soil degradation water scenes feel a lot like certain episodes of Friendship with KristSingto? Just me? Maybe it’s just Krist. I love him so dearly.

So much is revealed in this trailer, but that somehow makes me more intrigued about what is not being revealed to us?

Krist still goes for the top lip and Singto still goes for the bottom lip when they kiss. This kills me every time. I am so excited to see lovey-dovey Tamtawan and Pathapi!

Common is also "ježišmarjá" (a slurred blend of Jesus and Mary) and when you need to go even more intense you include the whole family - "ježišmarjajosef" (Jesus, Mary and Joseph). When said even more quickly it becomes "šmarjá" or "šmarjájozef"

people also use "jezus" (Jesus but in Polish) and derived variants similar to above

"jezuskote" and "jezusmankote" comes from Jesus and Gott/mein Gott from German

"hergot" from German Herr Gott (dear god), or more intense "himlhergot" (dear god in heaven)

"sakra" and derived "sakryš" and "safra" from Latin "sacrum". can also be used as an intensifying adverb "setsakramentsky"

"kruci" and "krucifix" referring to the cross

KRISTSINGTO ATTENDING INSIDE OUT 2 — KRIST IDENTIFYING WITH ANXIETY

Today, KristSingto attended the premiere of Pixar’s “Inside Out 2,” which introduces some new emotions for Riley.

Afterward, Krist told fans he identified a lot with Anxiety, and that his scenes reflected how he felt before their comeback concert last week. He’s spoken before about attending therapy and managing his mental health issues in the past, but I think this is the first time he’s explicitly used the term “anxiety” as a feeling he relates to.

It’s honestly not a surprise, though; if you hang out in his fandom long enough, you’ll see how much he struggles with saying no to people, or displeasing anyone. That’s why his clapback at the fan who tried to make him choose between Gawin and Singto was such a shock and relief to so many of us.

At the crane game in front of the theater, he also won himself and Singto li’l plushies. EDIT: He got Envy for Singto, but Singto said he relates most to Sadness. In my friend’s words: “When they asked him why, he was like, ‘Humans…’ and then a long pause.”

Last year, Krist attended the Pixar movie “Elemental” with Gawin, and that inspired the whole theme of his solo concert, so I think it’s safe to say he took something to reflect on this time, too. ♡

BONUS: Manager Yui fixing Kit’s hair. Honestly I can’t believe I watched him bouncing up and down to celebrate winning an Anxiety plush. Cuteness aggression is off the charts, man.

Fantopia 2020 | LOL Fanfest 2022 | The Krist Elements Concert | Peraya Party Begin Again One distinctive feature of Krist-Singto is the dramatic and emotional stages where we hurl intense emotions at each other. Might be hard to believe, but the thing you need to bring to KristSing's concert really is tissue paper. Hard to believe, but it's been that way every time.

summary: Kawi is 30 and lives a shitty life. His father died, he has a low paying but exhausting job, no friends, and Pear, the girl he's liked since his university days, is getting married to their classmate, Pisaeng. When Kawi discovers that he has the ability to travel through time, becoming 20 again, he decides to try and seduce Pear. One problem: Pisaeng is there to get in his way.

pros:

the story is not only pretty original, but very well written. I think everyone can find themselves relating to elements of the show, and I loved the topic of wanting to go back in time to fix things which is something everyone has wished at least once in their life. I also love that we see the characters slowly detach themselves from trying to change & predict the future, but actually enjoy the present, which is a pretty beautiful message to pass. the theme of the show truly makes it so lovable and important in my eyes.

the acting was really good from everyone! my favorites were of course my baes gawin & aye who especially slayed :) krist also really impressed me considering I was obviously skeptical about him acting in bl again.

LOVED LOVED LOVED the pisaeng coming out storyline. it wasn't anything incredibly original, but actually was never done that way in a bl show & made incredibly respectfully and well, especially thanks to fluke gawin's performance!

gawinkrist ate?? the chemistry was mostly really good on & off screen and they really sold pisaengkawi to me.

all of my problems with the show come from the writing, so here you go:

I wish we'd seen kawi's feelings more before he changed his mind from liking pear to wanting to be with pisaeng. I know it was explained as him suddenly realizing it once pisaeng was gone from his life, but I still wish they'd given it slightly more time so we could really feel the weight of kawi's feelings.

I found the pisaengkawi's first time storyline kinda badly executed, even though the sex scene in itself was beautifully acted & filmed. kawi's discomfort with sex is never explored, and he changed his mind without us ever seeing his thought process. I wish we could've gotten a scene where pisaengkawi discussed their relationship with sex & it was made clear that kawi does want to have sex but is just scared, bc without that scene, it feels like kawi doesn't really want it, and the cut from pisaengkawi not getting along great to them having sex was really jarring in the show.

I wanted the side characters to be more developed, and believe there was enough screentime for that. I would've loved to see pear finding herself outside of romantic relationships, kwan finally meeting a man that treats her like she deserves, I wanted max to be more than just activist pride guy (which, SLAY!) and get more screentime & depth bc he's fucking iconic, and even crusty not should've been shown having grown & become a better person after 10 years.

would I rewatch it: absolutely!

If you'd told me Be My Favorite would be one of my favorite shows of the year, I would have laughed at you in the face. In fact, I was the first one doubting this pairing and even the precedent one, but I gotta say... this show really pulled through for me. It is more flawed than I'd like, but still a very touching show about a topic frankly rarely or even never seen in bl. I'm so glad I gave it a chance :)

Sure, these guys became successful: Patapee became a highly popular news reporter who got caught in a controversy, while Tamtawan is a producer who was trained in a foreign country. Like, dude…there's so much angst going on between the two… T o T

As for GMMTV, I hope you're sure about this schedule (read: they're in a pre-prod stage as of late, refining the scripts and stuff), and I wish you'd make this Krist + Singto comeback a memorable one, considering how long they've worked separately after their SOTUS era (and I'm Tee, Me Too, if you consider this title despite being a bromantic comedy). Ridiculous Jen BL 2023 list 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Okay, so I’ve had some MH stuff this year, and a lot of last year, so I’ve done an awful lot more watching this year than I ever normally do. So I wasn’t quite sure how to go about my end of year. I decided to split it into two. Best things I watched that aired in 2023 and best things I watched that did not air in 2023. I’ve also not included currently airings. (I’ll maybe do a little half year list or something including 2023 things that finished in 2024.)

Frankly, I found this year to be an embarrassment of riches. Lots of things I loved.

Drama that made me feel horrendously single in the best kind of way. Be my favourite

I’m just a complete sucker for these kinds of dramas. The romance is beautiful and extremely well done but that element is also allowed to play seconds to the story of Kawi and Pisaeng’s growth as humans. An element that I wish more dramas would pay attention too. Krist & Gawin’s chemistry was also exceptional.

Drama I didn’t expect to love but did. Naughty Babe

I absolutely hated Cutie Pie. Could not get on with it at all. But this? This was a soapy delight and it played into that so well. Also served me some of my favourite spice scenes in recent years. Hot and loving. Perfect combo.

Drama I will defend till my death. Bed Friend

This drama. I know the edit is interesting, I know the subs are bad but I think what this drama was trying to do and say was so important. Healthy healing through sex and therapy in a Thai BL?! More likely than you think. (Also NetJames are hot like burning. A ridiculously beautiful pairing.)

Drama that gave me more than I expected. Dangerous Romance

PerthChimon were one of my favourite parts of NLMG. I’d had Chim roughly five mins before falling in love. So I was, cautiously, excited for DR. I needn’t have been cautious. The characterisation in this show is superb and, whilst I do think perhaps its story was a touch ambitious for its amount of episodes, I enjoyed and eagerly anticipated every episode. Also shout out to my darling Dangerous Romance moots who made each episode even more fun.

Drama of the year. Moonlight Chicken

It’ll be a long time before this is topped for me. Not only is it beautiful to look at it’s also incredibly well acted and the script is superb. The subtle ways it addresses different generational attitudes to being queer, it’s commentaries on poverty and disability. It’s just perfect.

The Krist Elements Concert - Day 2 [1080p]

I'm a sucker for media preservation and since the performances and reruns have all ended, here's the link for everyone who want to enjoy Krist performing his amazing songs, drumming with cool guests and have fun singing OSTs with Gawin and legendary PEBACA gang (Off, Gun, Tay, New, Singto)

Trust me, I loved every single second of this 4 hours(!) concert – it was fun, hilarious, impressive, emotional, just all spectrum of emotions. Come to listen to Be My Favorite, SOTUS, I'm Tee Me Too OSTs and the catchy Elements song that'll make you want to dance in your room performed by GMMs coolest actors (including Mark, Nanon, Sing, Jan etc) :D So don't miss the chance to watch it!

So I’ve seen some TwitIdiots on Twitter talk about how OffGun needs to retire from BLs and how they’ve had so many, blah blah blah. So now I’m gonna get technical on their asses, because if there’s one thing I love is being an anal retentive jerk with a technicality. Technically, OffGun has only ever done two BLs in their seven years of working together. I know, I know, just follow me for a moment while I explain -

Puppy Honey (2016)/Puppy Honey 2 (2017) - A basic by the numbers het drama, nothing amazing but not terrible either. Unless you count Krist being in the second one as terrible, which I totally do, but I digress. Not a BL, OffGun played the queer side dish that didn’t technically get together until the second season.

Teenage Mom (2017) - Jokey guest roles as a dentist and a dental assistant in episode 5 that are sleeping together, not a BL.

SOUTS S (2017) - Off plays a barely seen side character, Bright. Gun is an unnamed drunk at Bright’s bar, only seen on the DVD version of the series. The entire interaction is negligible but I thought I’d mark it down anyways.

Our Skyy (2018) - Technically a BL, but not an OffGun helmed series. A mini series featuring an ensemble cast of already established gay ships from other shows, OffGun has one episode as PickRome from Puppy Honey.

Theory of Love (2018) - OffGun’s first real BL, they were the main characters and it was a full blown BL series, complete with special episode follow up in 2020. The special episode is not a separate series, it is all part of the Theory of Love universe.

Love from Outta Space (2019) - Not a series but a twenty minute long commercial for a lipstick. Off plays himself, Gun plays an alien who looks like Gun. Heavily implied that Off loves Gun, which is why the alien took on his appearance. Does not count as a BL or even a series, it is a commercial that was cashing in on the pairings growing popularity at the time.

The Shipper (2020) - Guest roles as a couple outside a restaurant in episode 12, while the series itself is a BL, OffGun were background, blink and you’ll miss them, unnamed guest stars.

I’m Tee, Me Too (2020) - A comedy ensemble ‘bromance’ about the importance of platonic friendship. We all see what you were saying GMMtv and we still shipped the OffGun characters, you can’t teach us shit! But still, it’s not a BL and their characters were not a couple.

Not Me (2021) - OffGun’s second official BL, they were the main characters and it was a full blown series. No special episode as of yet, most likely won’t be one.

Club Sapan Fine 2 (2022) - BL elements, a massive ensemble cast. OffGun’s characters don’t even interact or know of one another, Off’s in episode one and Gun is in episode eight.

Cooking Crush (2023) - OffGun’s third official BL series, they play the main characters and it is a proper BL. Air date as of now is unknown, looks to be your standard rom-com set up.

So as you can see, over seven years and eleven series, they’ve only ever to this date actually headlined two BL series with their third on its way.

Gun had done BL’s before being branded with Off, such as The Blue Hour, Love Love You (he replaced Mild for just this one movie out of the trilogy) and Playboy and the Gang of Cherry. Whereas up until Puppy Honey, Off had never played a gay/bi/questioning character before or done a full blown BL series.

I love that GMMTV seems to have some policy (unspoken or explicit) that their actors shouldn't mention previous onscreen partners, and Krist just flat-out doesn't seem to care. I've seen other former partners just pretend they never met, but I knew Krist wouldn't do that to Gawin. <3

I think Krist already told a fan in either October or November that he's not supposed to talk about Gawin anymore because of Gawin's upcoming project, but I love that he's only following the spirit, not the letter.

It could be partly because Krist promised Gawin at the Elements concert that nothing would change between them even though they're not promoting work together anymore, and sure enough, neither of them is pretending they're not friends and that they don't spend time together. :')

Like, Gawin borrowed Krist's guitar and used a fanmade pick based on the pick in Be My Favorite for his solo performance in Indonesia.

And he went up to Krist's music festival last month with Krist's university friend group, because they've actually accepted Gawin as one of them. Like, Gawin's part of Krist's inner circle now! That's such a wild thing to me! Krist is twenty-eight, and I'm pretty sure he's had that same inner circle for the past ten years???

One series with Gawin, and they adopted him as a new member of the gang.

Krist was proudly watching and recording Gawin's sound check for Starlympics:

And they got to have a li'l dance and hug during the performance itself!

Then, after Krist came back to Thailand from his trip to Japan earlier this month, Gawin went over to Krist's house to hang out with the whole friend group, including Singto.

Like, man, I just love not only that Gawin and Krist are genuine friends, but that Krist is proud of Gawin and happy to talk about him whenever he likes, whatever the company policy may be.

After all, Singto leaving GMMTV entirely didn't change a thing between him and Krist. So why would Krist treat Gawin any differently?

This past summer, some of Gawin's rudest and least pleasant fans were openly counting down to the end of BMF because they made hating Krist part of their personality and were convinced that the Monster Krist they'd invented would drop Gawin and erase him from his life entirely.

Kinda shows how little they were paying attention to the bond Gawin and Krist have built and how little they care about Gawin as a person if they think he'd be happier losing someone who believes in him and cares about him so ferrvently. (And that's why I'm liberal about blocking people. \:D/)

Long live the Precious Buddies. <3

It doesn't matter if they work together because at the end of the day, they're still each other's safe zone.
