I'm starting a little "journal" of sorts as a way to figure out the way the different races in my world for my original story Second Time's the Charm (STtC for short). The journal is very much inspired by Gravity Falls's journals but mine will be slightly different

This journal will follow the story of a researcher who washes up on the shores of one of the countries and they will wander around taking notes and observing all they see. This person will be from our world/continents and so we'll be able to follow them more easily

Our researcher is named Alberdo A. Wondreberg from England in 1637 (which I'm just pretending translates well into my little world's calendar... the story starts in 1292 Second Age, so we're pretending that this makes sense). He was on his way to research the plants and animals in South America when his ship was caught in a storm. Suddenly he finds himself in a strange world with strange creatures that are far more interesting than what he was going to research originally.
