#ooh ok#this issue makes me want to reread the first one with the new context#because the series starts off very vague as to what happened to Levi on his work trip#this issue ends with Levi rejecting letting go of that trauma#and finally accepting his fathers teaching#now he’s fighting against the company he was working for#though I don’t think he knows that yet#I’m liking this approach to character development#where the inciting incident really happens right before the story starts#and the main character is avoiding truly confronting it#and the moment when what happens starts to be revealed to the reader#when he’s forced to relive all that#is when he makes his big change#the issues before this have been him sort of slowly acclimating/wrestling with what he’s become#but not quite articulating it in a way up until now that really cements his commitment#dc#the swamp thing#levi kamei#my posts#comic panels
