I'm a fast writer, I swear. I've only been working on my manuscript for- *checks notes* four years now. Fuck.
#it's gone through so many drafts and reworkings im losing my mind#the issue is that im thinking too large scale right off the bat#im scared that i don't have the writing chops to pull off a queer muslim urban fantasy using void monsters to explain aphobia#and giant shadowy barriers with only one bridge through it as a metaphor for the impermeable gap between cultures i experience#so i keep working away on my baby. while polishing other stuff to hold up first. which i develop way too much as well 😔#writers of tumblr#writers on tumblr
