Remember not to carry a SIG P320 with a round chambered if you don’t use a model with a manual safety (and if it’s a M17/18, keep it on if you’re not immediately about to fire) because there’s a nonzero chance it’ll randomly fire. Even if you have the “voluntary upgrade” it can still fire. If you carry a sidearm for any reason, be a real person and either carry a 1911 or some other kind of actually-capable-of-being-safe sidearm that won’t send a round into your leg because you moved weirdly. If you can’t properly handle your weapon with an empty chamber and the safety on, you don’t need to carry one.
