#the idea of veronica speaking portuguese just does things to me

Brazilian Veronica headcanons because I said so:

•Her dad is from Brazil and then moved to the US with his family when he was a teen but he still passes down the customs to his daughter

•He was born in Rio and her grandparents were from Minas Gerais (because that's where everyone's grandparents come from!)

•She's very casual about football unless it's the world cup or something, then she goes crazy, I'm talking green and blue face paint, yellow shirt, stadium horn and lots of curse words and screams.

•When she's really pissed, she prefers to swear in portuguese because she feels like the english curse words just aren't strong enough to convey her anger.

•She has a huge extended family, and she's close to all of them. They're all very loud and euphoric, and she can't help but act like that when she's around them because their cheerfulness is contagious.

•She invites the heathers to her birthday one time and they agree thinking it's going to be just them and Veronica's parents, but once they get there they're shocked to see over 30 people. Veronica is all like "oh and that's not even half of my family"

•She likes mpb music and brazilian rock music, especially the oldies like Chico Buarque, Elis Regina, Legião Urbana and Paralamas do Sucesso.

•Lots of hand gestures

• During summer she has the very "carioca" way of wearing flips flops literally everywhere.
