The half heart is because people literally either get Pearl down SO WELL or they don't know her at all. You can even tell by the way they draw him. I've gone on about this for like half an hour before I'm Opinionated.

BUT YEAH PEARL. I love her so much. The transmasc butch former metal singer that owns my entire ass <3 My absolute fave whose resting face looks angry but would and has gone above and beyond for strangers just because he could.
