Just watched the first episode of the ice blade sorcerer and I really don’t know what to think

The intro had me thinking “this show is going to be horrible” but then they introduced the magic system and it seems really interesting and I’m starting to like how the show is carrying itself

Then there are a bunch of gags that I feel like I would normally cringe at by I find myself laughing?

The way the show portrays the mc is kinda icky but beyond that he seems really interesting

And then the show reveals the the Mac knows the grand mage princable and they both used to be in the army?????!!!!!!!!!

Love the “humiliate the bully” scene

The twist at the end has me rolling, I love it

Overall great first episode, but I don’t know what to expect for the reast of the season so I don’t wana get my hopes up

I had a fun time watching the Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World. In many respects, it's a typical magic school anime, but certain character arcs surprised me by how mature they handled them.
