Modern day fic where Madam Lan is alive and LZ and WY get together as teens but the Jiang's kick WY out and he comes to live with the Lans who all love and adore him. Later on LX brings Meng Yao, who he is dating, to met the family. Meng Yao doesn't get a warm reception and gets jealous of how the Lans treat WY. 11. Looking for two fics:

A) The one where wwx explodes a wen’s head because they were going to kill lwj. I remember wwx being injured in this fic and constantly in bed save for sitting at the table working on wards and talismans. He made talismans for lwj to use while he was away fighting. I remember jzx helping wwx change his bandages and helping him to the battle field because he couldn’t walk well. On the battle field wwx sees lwj about to be killed by a wen and makes the wen’s head explode. I think lwj in that scene chose his last view to be the sky instead of his killer’s face but he instead got covered in blood and brain matter. All this takes place in cloud recesses btw.

B) The one where wwx is immortal (i think) and lwj lives in the burial mounds with him and the wen remnants. I’m not sure how they get to this point but they travel to Qinghe to ask for his help with something I think but wwx ends up sending nmj is dying and helps him too. I remember more or less the conversation when wwx met nmj went like “huh this is a bit awkward. Sorry to ask but you DO know you’re dying right?” And nmj responds something like “yes, I’m aware.”

Jiang Cheng then goes back to the past, but the ritual has erased Lan Wangji from existence. Even so, in this new timeline both Lan Xichen & Wei Ying feel that something/someone is missing. 15. I lost a fic! It is pre-WangXian and is told from, I think, alternate POV of LXC and JC (it is not XiCheng, that I remember, it's just from their perspectives). 16. Hello!! I've been trying to find a fic where Lwj doesn't know that the elders told Lsz to stop calling him a-die, and just assumed it was Lsz's choice. It hurt him, but he didn't complain because he wanted it to be Lsz's choice. When Wwx comes back and Lsz is really close with him and starts calling him baba, Lwj starts thinking that Lsz stopped seeing him as a father back then because he was such an awful father that even someone who didn't get to raise him (Wwx) still managed to be a better father in the little time he had. The most unnecessary thing they ever did? -Trusting Vector. I know Yuma trust people like Tokonoske, but with Victor it felt bit much, but that’s my perspective

How do you think they would be as a parent? (and if they are a parent, how do you think they would be if they weren't?) -Probably would try mimicking his dad

How To Write A Comic Relief Character That Doesn’t Suck

So. We all know the comic-relief character trope. The one who doesn’t do much but tags along because of their “loyalty” and falls on their face every now and then for us to laugh at whenever the tension gets too high. But then at the end they have their heroic moment and prove wrong everyone who ever doubted them! Only for them to go back to exactly how they were before in the resolution. Right?

NO! WRONG! THROW IT IN THE GARBAGE! In this post I’m going to give some ideas of how to add comic relief elements to a story without devaluing any of the characters! First of all, let’s start with some examples! I'll explain most of my choices throughout the post. I'm hoping I provided enough examples that everyone can recognize at least one in each category! I’ve also done my best to make direct comparisons.

No Laughing Matter

It’s great to have a character who struggles with clumsiness or feeling incompetent! But what if you tried actually taking those concerns seriously? Instead of the divert-with-comedy-and-never-readdress approach, make your character turn angry or sensitive. (Or the best of both worlds, tsundere!) Really get into their head and explore how that incompetence is affecting them. Bonus points if they actually fail something of consequence! How do they react to this failure? Do they have people supporting them, and if so, how? And if instead the character is on the outs and constantly the butt of jokes, how does that affect their psyche? Maybe they’ll throw themselves into training or practicing to become better, but maybe all they need is a reminder of where their strengths do lie so that they can use them better to their advantage next time! I actually challange you to separate the klutz character from the comic relief character! It may be funny to watch people falling down on Reddit, but it doesn’t make for a compelling character that people will remember! I love Marinette, I really do, but I have to admit that she could be written better because she falls right into this sort of trap.

Himbos Are People, Too

Okay, okay. I know we all need to have our himbos sometimes. And that’s great! A character who’s a bit out of their element can be endearing for a lot of readers! But in order to get there, the character needs other personality traits, too! Comic relief is not a personality. It’s something you can stack onto a personality, but you need to create a whole character first, complete with hobbies and interests! Which means that, yes, you have to let your character be good at something. It doesn’t have to be the same as their interests, though! This is a great opportunity for a reminder that you can still find joy in something even if you’re not very good at it, and just because you're good at something doesn't mean it makes you happy.

And it should really be more than one thing they’re good at! Don’t write the Ron who’s only good at chess or the Lance who’s only (somewhat) good at flirting!

Tell Me What You Want

This also goes for character motivations! Each character needs to have either a clear motive or a clear lack of motive! Bonus points if it’s multiple complex but identifiable motives! Sokka is a perfect example of this! He wants to live up to the legacy of his father, find his place in the Gaang, and maybe pick up a girl (or a guy) along the way. And most importantly, he uses his humor not as a selfish way to avoid his feelings or for plot convenience but rather to lighten the mood as part of the duty he feels to keeping his sister safe and happy! His Voltron doppelgänger, Lance, has no clear motivation… ever, pretty much. He's implied to like Allura, but it's treated as more of a joke. Same with Ron, or Neville, or Luigi, or even Loki. What do they even want? You could say that Ron saw his greatest desire in the Mirror of Erised (to be recognized and respected), but does he ever take steps toward this? Does it ever even get brought up again? Or was it just meant to contrast with Harry’s greatest desire? After all, Ron ends up as some Auror as an adult but doesn’t show any regret or longing for a higher status.

(Another hint: Not dying is not a character motivation!)

However, I did give another option, which was a clear lack of motivation. We see this in Percy, Reki, and Kai at certain points, and they all express that they don’t understand exactly what they want. And that’s perfectly okay, too! I actually really love writing characters like this! That being said, this is typically a temporary thing, and you should have something in mind for the character’s endgame. I want to stress that this is actually the harder one to pull off correctly, so you can’t just use it as a cop-out.

So yeah, there’s your crash course in character creation and development! Maybe I’ll do a separate post for that in more detail!

According to my Calculations…

Yes, I know that can all feel like a lot. But it's no excuse to fall into stereotypes. Especially this one, which is often done as an Asian-American caricature. Going the other route with a conventionally unattractive, glasses-wearing, acne-having white kid is bad, too. It's cringe. It's harmful. Don't do it.

And this goes not just for the stupid-nerd caricature, but also for any other stereotype out there. This one is just the most annoying one I can think of.

The Loyal Lapdog

Another sort of random trope is justifying a bland character by claiming that their virtue is their "loyalty." If you're going to use loyalty as a personality trait, be very careful about it. You have to be committed to upholding that personality trait even if it messes with your plot. You don't want to end up like Ron, who is actually arguably one of the least loyal characters in the series, abandoning his best friends in an apocalyptic situation just because he was jealous and constantly getting in fights with Harry over things out of his control. It is good to test and even break the limits of your character’s loyalty, but if they give up at the slightest inconvenience they’re clearly not actually loyal at all. (I’m sorry I bash Ron so much. It’s not what it sounds like, I actually hate him much more than I’m letting on.)

Comedy Communism

Guess what? You can have more than one character be funny! In fact, why not make all of them funny? Even your dark, serious character can be accidentally hilarious, and Skull is a pristine example of this. And giving a brooding loner character a surprise one-liner can be a great way to mark character development as they become more comfortable in their environment.

Overall, spreading out the role of comic relief across multiple characters is just a plain good idea because it forces you to fully develop each character and makes your comedy less predictable.

Or here’s another idea: make the comic relief character the protagonist! It’s an unexpected move that Percy Jackson pulls off immaculately! It’s also another strategy to help you avoid writing flat comedic relief characters because your protagonist should be the easiest character to fully flesh out.

Don’t Ruin the Moment

Using comedy to lighten the mood can be a good thing, but it has a time and a place. I've seen so many truly moving, deeply emotional moments completely gutted by a stupid joke. It's so devastating to see a writer put in all this effort to build up to a big moment, only to ruin it. It’s up to you to decide what counts as a “big moment,” but once you decide, fully commit to it. If you really feel like it’s too much for the reader, you can use a scene break, which will provide relief to the readers with less bleeding over of the lighthearted mood into the serious part.

But it can also be hard to maintain that tension, especially if a comic relief character is involved. Having them tell a joke that falls flat can actually be a great way to further increase the tension while staying in character!

Losing weight. Lately I've been learning a lot. About myself, nutrition, mindset, life. It's really quite simple when we put all our feelings aside and just take action. The feelings and emotions part tho always kicked my ass. But I discovered I do have discipline if I try my best. And the truth is that I never DID MY BEST. I did my ego's best. My ego that's sooo scared of everything. But being uncomfortable is NECESSARY in order to experience growth and real satisfaction. So guess what Ana, it's realness time.

Losing weight is still a journey for me because emotions and mindset are still a journey for me. But that's ok. First step right now is to separate food from emotions, be them positive or negative. That feeling in my stomach, chest, throat, and mouth of emotional hunger gets sometimes "unbearable". But it doesn't really mean I am starving (cause I'm not lol), it actually means I am trying to escape. From myself. Escapiam through food has been a thing for me for a looooong ass time, almost all my life. But I forgive myself for it because I was surviving and doing my best to take care of me. But now I am an adult and it's time to confront myself, my emotions, needs head on.

Actionable steps:

🦋 identify emotional hunger: write it down and explore it through journaling - when was the last time I ate? What is happening right now? What emotions do I feel? What do I need? How can I meet my needs right now? What would bring peace/happiness right now besides food?

🦋 make a tea/coffee/hot bevrage and enjoy it with some enjoyable activity: journaling, youtube, netflix, phone game. Sip it and enjoy it, feel gratitude for it.

🦋 always have a meal plan. Either for the whole week or for the day. Combine the available healthy choices in the fridge for low cal, high density meals, or low carb high protein meals.

🦋 have healthy, low cal, high protein snack ideas ready and available

🦋 continue to fast in the morning, feels really good and it comes easy for me. However, warm soups make for the best low calorie light dinners and I want to stick to those

🦋 physical activity is so important.

➡️ Walk for 30 min in the morning and 30 min in the evening after work.

➡️ Active breaks during the day: stretching, jumping rope, fitness challanges

➡️ Workout multiple times per day for shorter periods of time: maybe 20 min of body weight in the first part of the day and cardio dance workout of 30-45 min after work

➡️ endurance is incredibly important for fitness confidence and the abilty to perform for longer periods of time, like in the case of hiking, dancing, or sex. Fitness challanges like squat challanges are so so helpful in building muscle and endurance fast.

🦋 sleep. Start the night routine early and be grateful for sleep.

Because it’s so soft, so kind, it makes my heart feel cozy. They complete each other in a very simple way, their story is so sweet and so heartbreaking at times...

I think 6, because they found and fell for each other time after time, through many, many challanges, and they grew so much using each other as support and they were strong enough in their love to let go in the end and now I’m sobbing thinking about the finale.

I haven’t rewatched the show because it’s too much lol, and there’s so few fics for them (or for them that aren’t actually Lisa is a bitch/dies and surprise this si actually Destiel) so I kinda gave up.

A/N: This one is for me a really personal one and it felt a bit liberating writing it. I am also working on a novel so I’m sorry if I don’t post as much. Another year, another match. Ravenclaw vs Gryffindor, a match worth going to as the Ravenclaws moped the floor with boasting Gryffindors. Another match, another bad day for James Potter.

“ Cheer up, mate. It was only a game.” Peter tapped him on the shoulder as he sat down next to him for supper.

“Ughh.” he groaned and let his head fall on his arms.

It wasn’t just the game that was bothering James. It was his pride and ego. They both just got bruised because so many people expected him to lead the team to victory as a new captain and the boasting of how he will bring Gryffindor the house cup only made him want to sink into dirt. 

And to top it all of he just embarassed himself in front of Lilly Evans, the girl he’s been crushing on for seven long years. Of course being Head Boy with her was a chance but so was winning this game and showing what a great leader he is, but it just got flunked. His dreams just got flunked.

“ That game was amazing, Prongs!” cackled Sirius as he walked in with Remus. “One of the best games I have ever been to.” 

“ I think you did just great, James.” comfronted Remus, sitting over to James and squeezing him by the shoulder.

“ Great?!” exclaimed Sirius, sitting down and looking at Remus. “ Did you see how the Bludger knocked him off his broom? Like I need to talk to their Beater. It’s Jones, right?” and with that Sirius was off to the Ravenclaw table.

“ I. am. so. stupid.” he hit his head on the table beetwen every word, letting out a pitiful whine. 

“ Uhm. James?” said Remus as he stared at the mausy haired girl in front of him. 

She was worried and exhausted. Her hair was even in a bigger mess as before and her eyes were completly flooded with worry. “Potter.” she spoke flatly, yet there was a slight crack in her voice as she was about to cry.

He shot his head up as soon as he heard a girl’s voice, hoping that it might have been Lilly’s. “ Max?” he furrowed his eyebrows at the girl.

“ Yeah.” she replied and ran her fingers though her hair few more times as she stood in front of him. “I don’t even know what I’m doing here.” she muttered under her breath as she turned away for a moment before facing him once again. 

“Is there something wrong?” James began to worry, even though he only knew Max by name and her family’s reputation. 

They used to hang out at the birthday parties when they were kids. Her family was alright, not the usual strict pureblood family. They were a wealthy family but they never boasted with their wealth. Her mother was great friends with his own and Max was always the kind of girl who challanged him in a lot of things. She was always like that, always up for a chalange. But when Hogwarts started and she was sorted into Slytherin, there wasn’t much to help but to drift apart. He got his friends and she has hers, it was only a matter of time when the friendship ended.

“Max?” he repeated again.

“ I can’t find her. You know, the girl who yelled at you at the train.” she finally spilled, sitting down next to him.

“ Who? (y/n)?” 

“ I don’t know. I just thought she might have came to you after she appologised and after you asked her on a date.” she continued to speak, her hand running through her greasy hair.

“ No, no. I haven’t seen her since that day she got a letter.” 

“ It’s okay. It was worth asking, you know.” she smiled at James and got up. “ I’ll see you around.” she waved and walked back to her own table, leaving James in a pack of questions.

James pondered today’s supper over and over again. Max was never worried about anything except school and Quidditch. She has always been such a carefree person almost reflecting Sirius. 

And you, well you were stuck on his mind as well. Sweet (y/e/c) and such a wonderful smile. 

‘  I can’t find her. You know, the girl who yelled at you at the train. ‘ her voice kept repeating in his head until a loud growl interrupted him from his thoughts.

Feeling the hunger grow as well as the sound of his growl, he swung his legs over the edge of his bed, put on some slippers and his head boy badge before he finally left for the kitchen. There was a privlage of being a head boy: You were never suspected of anything, so wandering the halls at this late hour surely made him feel invincible.

Tickling the pear, he entered the kitchen and took a big yawn. 

“ More sugar. Definetly more sugar. ” he heard some muttering behind the counter. 

He took a few steps forward, pulling out his wand to discover the intrudor.

“ Choco? That might work too.” he heard another mutter before the intrudor’s head popped up, jumping at the sight of James and covering herself in choco. 

“ (y/n)?” he puzzled as the girl seemed to be quite similar to you, only covered in chocolate powder. 

The girl looked up, sneezing as the powder tickled her nose, and you forced a smile on her lips. “Heeey, James.” you tried to play it cool, placing the choco on the caunter and sliding your hand to cover the mess you’ve made.

“ You know I can see it.” he chuckled and walked over, brushing off the powder from your robes. You stayed quiet, watching as his hand brushed off the powder from your cheeks. “ We’ve been looking for you. “ he looked up in your eyes and moved a strand of hair behnd your ear. “ Max was really worried.” 

“ Max...” you mumbled under your breath and turned your body towards the counter, looking over to the choclate mass you’ve created. “ She must be so pissed. “ you ran your hands down your face. 

“ So that’s where you’ve been. In the kitchen... cooking.” he quirked an eyebrow and dipped his finger in the bowl, tasting the chocolae mass. “ You should add more flour.”

“ Baking.” you corrected him. “ And yeah... it takes my mind of things.” you spoke glumly, avoiding his eyes before tasting the mass yourself. “ Maybe a bit vanilla aroma too.” you smiled and looked over to James.

He sat on the table, swinging his legs as he watched you continue with the mass. Both of you stayed quiet for a moment but James couldn’t help himself to interfere. “ I’m sorry but I need to ask. What was in the letter?” 

You stopped mixing the mass, glancing over at him as the words of your sister repeated itself in your head. “ What letter?” 

“Don’t play daft. Yesterday you got a letter and ran off with Max, you have dark circles around your eyes which meant you haven’t been sleeping for at least two days, your voice is raspy and you have been missing for a whole day.” he rambled on as he jumped back on his feet, walking over and taking your hands. “ You can trust me. I won’t tell anybody.” 

His warm hands left tingles on yours, his thumbs carresing the back of your hand as his eyes were kept on you. “ There’s nothing to tell.” you kept your eyes away from his. “ My sister left and so did my mom. I got mom’s letter this morning, while my sister sent one yesterday.” you forced a laugh and tried to stay put togehter. “ I mean it’s not like I care or anything.” you finally looked up at his eyes, pulling your hands away from his. “ My mom probably left with that guy she’s been seeing behind my dad’s back and my sister is probably at her ex’s place. It’s not like I planned the whole summer with her only to find out it will be spent in that apartment with my dad.” you continued to ramble on as he carefully listened. “ Maybe it won’t be that bad living with him. Maybe he’ll change.” you told yourself, completly blind to the tears that have been faling for the past conversation. “ But I’ll be fine, totally fine.” you forced another smile, looking at the boy who only squeezed you in a hug.

It was a different kind of hug though. Of course you weren’t much of a hugger but every single hug was completly the same except for this one. This one was different. It was warm and it felt good, it felt better. 

“I’m sorry.” he whispered and put his hand on your head as you laid it on his chest. His warm, musceled chest that gave a feeling of safety and comfort. 

“ I’m fine.” you tried to stay strong but he only pulled away and cupped your cheeks. 

“You don’t need to be right now. Let go.” 

And you did. Fat tears started rolling down your cheeks as you cried in his embrace. You cried all the tears that you held in for the past nine years. It was at age ten you realized crying only makes things worse. The thought of how you needed to stay strong for your sister became the reason you never cried. But letting it go felt liberating and you felt something you haven’t felt in years. You felt light. No more burdain, no more weight on your chest which squeezed the life out of you. It was all out, everything. Every pain, every bad memory... finally let free.

Honestly Snow.  I do like how he doesn’t deny the blood on his hands.. He also Did keep his promise to Katniss to not Lie to each other...  But he kept enough to himself so his own people Capitol wouldn’t turn on him tho... Like he didn’t let all of panam know That once victors win if they don’t do as he says he will kill everyone you love. He also didn’t make it public of how he killed people... ( Besides the Hunger Games). Tho everything Comes with a Price like the Tesserae you sign up for more food for yourself and add more names in for everyone in your family to be added more times into the hunger games at the reapting ( But really its a way to say you districts have no control) It was clear that the names in the Bowls are not by chance they are totally picked out before the reaping...  ( the only thing against those is the volunteering tho). Anyways so  snow made it also at the districts disadvantage that the Districts have no choice but to listen of what snow says  or he would have no problem Destorying them like District 13...  he made things in such a convincing way to everyone until Peeta caught his bluff.    it was Snows way or no way..... Everyone knew this isn’t right but agree to it to live... Until it was challanged....  for the most part up until Katniss and Peeta some how he was able to take control back to him.  As much as the other Victors/ Districts tried it always failed. Maybe for more Peacekeepers Stricter Rules. ect... Since Katniss and Peeta were Both allowed to live because they are “:madly in love”.  and the fact that the Districts are not believing it. That it was a rebel act...  it toally bull.  And having the nerve to shake your head everything Katniss did on the victory tour wasn’t enough too.  They were doing and saying what they were allowed too( Set up to fail)

 On another note Honey there acting in love ( more in katniss’s case since peeta wasn’t acting) was more real then whatever you had with Lucy Gray... 

 ( Can i just say how i love how they are convincing no one the way it was done in the movie. Like after District 11. they are on autopilot mode...   ( that’s because its not coming from them.) They are still however convincing the districts the Captiol is bad... tho ..) 

The 75th Games... at that point he pretty much lost all the Districts and some of The Capitol too..  It literally added fire to the war he was trying to stop from happening... The Districts are beyond pissed at him... Now I do beileve he had a hinch that its gonna happen soon. Pehaps he had an inch feeling that some how more then one will come outta this arena again...  Once Katniss Blew up the arena. He was shocked.   That damn its real welcome to the second Revoultion. 

I honestly could go on and on about Snow using Peeta as a Pawn and Coin Using Katniss as Pawn. Waiting for someone to king me... but  That would take forever....  But I will touch on this.. How dare you Hijack Peeta. I think i threw my book across the room when i first read that.  But heres the thing.... Snow knew that the rebels would never allow Peeta to Kill her, they are smart enough to not let her reunion to be alone... ( And after the fact that it was pretty easy to get Peeta outta there) ( As the book said if they rebels didn’t make a move to get him out he prob would have been delivered thee by the Capitol.) So he did it knowing and hoping it would break Katniss  and try to see if the Mockingjay would loose her voice...

Now Onto TBOSAS. Basically this Book made me throw  everything I said bad about him out the window to only go and get it again. I will admit I felt bad for the guy. Being Poor but here is my thing. Loosing both of his Parents. Him not being treated fairly by the Dean of the school.. Pretty much the outcast.... Now he knows  about being poor... why let the districts suffer... He even Cheated in the Games... ( I’ll leave it at that in case no one has yet to read this book). and he had the audacity to be on Katniss/ Peeta/ Haymitch’s case about Cheating there way to win...  ( I will do a review on this book one day but I want to reread it before that)

Now He Played his game very well all his cards right until Someone was brave enough to say oh hell no this isn’t right. Even those who attemped failed he had a way too take the rains back until Katniss and Peeta... 

So Why not Coin. Personally I wouldn’t trust either with my life but Coin Deny’s  the things she did. I could go on and on about this but it would take forever to write it all down..

Felicity’s depression storyline in Time for a story

Tonight is Arrow Night, so there won’t be another chapter today, but I would like to take the time to say a few things about the depression storyline I am currently writing and you are currently reading. 

Why using the prenatal depression storyline again?

I am almost a little surprised that nobody asked about it, but then I know that my readers are just too smart for them to feel the need to ask. I’d like to say a few things about why I chose to write it anyway. 

The first reason is probably just my love for the first time this storyline was introduced in the chapters 52 to 58. Having Sunshine Felicity turn into someone who is suffering so much just was a huge step and I was so amazed with the wonderul response this storyline received. It made me truly happy. Really, when I am asked about my favorite chapters of this monster of a fic, I always mention this storyline.

A second reason is just that it is so real. Prenatal depression happens to people. It’s not just a story. It is reality. I was surprised by how many people wrote me and told me that they have been going through something like that and how real the story felt to them. I have done a lot of research on this fic and I know that a lot of women experience a pregnancy-related depression more than once. I know this is a fic, but why not use opportunities to make readers aware of the existence of such things because being pregnant even if in a happy marriage is not always the wonderful thing people try to make it out to be. 

(Regarding the spreading of awareness maybe a short digression: I don’t think people have to read the storyline as a medical article on prenatal depression. I think you can very well just read it for fun, too. I started writing a Forced Marriage AU that does in a way include some social criticism, but at the same time you can read it just for entertainment. It’s the same with books like The Hunger Games or The Divergent Series. All dystopian stories include some social criticism. It’s up to the reader if they want to read it like that.)

The third reason is just that I think it is always a challenge to write about real-life issues. Every angst storyline is always a kind of challange, but these kind of stories the most. And who doesn’t like a good challange?

Why now?

When Time for a story turned more into a real multi-chapter fic than a one-shot series, the first thing I planned was Tommy and basically while I was writing about the pregnancy, I was already planning Millie and Baby #4. Of course not in details yet, but the idea of having the happy pregnancy with Millie and then a forth more troubled pregnancy again has been there since November 2015. 

The thing is that I knew I wanted them to have a really wonderful pregnancy with Baby #3 because we haven’t seen much of the pregnancy with Emmy and the pregnancy with Tommy included a lot of drama. I also knew I wanted this last surprising pregnancy that Oliver and Felicity wouldn’t have thought about or expected and that really hit them surprisingly. So this is why we are having this now.

I had one person comment that adding another pregnancy is a little boring because a) we had Felicity pregnant twice (or thrice with Emmy though we didn’t explore that much) and b) the last pregnancy only added a few chapters ago. I have to say that I thought about that before, too, and it made me reconsider this storyline for a moment, but I am trying to add something different to each pregnancy, so I hope I am not making it too boring.

Will it be the same like last time?

Like I just said, I am trying to add something new to each pregnancy, so I also knew I wanted to add something new when reintroducing this storyline. Given that the situation itself is different because rationally Oliver and Felicity know what they are dealing with, that gives me the chance to write the storyline different this way. 

Different how?

Felicity’s symptoms will be different. While the first time around Felicity was closing herself off from Oliver a lot, this won’t happen as much this time. Felicity isn’t caught in a vicious circle of sadness, anger and guilt all the time. She knows that she is sick and that it is okay to be sick. Well, at least she knows that most of the time. The main symptoms Felicity will experience are tiredness, exhaustion and the absence of feeling joy. We will have two mini-storylines (around the chapters 207/208 and 214/215) that will focus on two other symptoms, though. 

The perspective will be different. The last time the storyline was almost completely written from Oliver’s point of view because it was written as a bit of a mystery what was going on with Felicity. This time I am trying to explore both point of views. I doubt that it will be 50/50. I am writing the way I feel it makes sense and by that I am trying to tell both of their point of views.

The length of the storyline will be different. While the last time it was only a few chapters, we will have a lot more this time. It’s going to take until chapter 219 for her to start getting better and even then Felicity will still have days that she feels dragged back. It’s a lot of up and down before. It’s just not that linear because I guess that is a lot realer to life.

Will it all be angst?

I’d say there is a lot of angst. There is a lot of drama in response to what is going on with Felicity and how she tries to handle it and how Oliver tries to make it easier for her. They are trying very hard to make it work, but it’s just not that easy. They will make mistakes (no cheating!) and they will stumble, but bottomline is that they love each other a lot and they are trying to make it work.

It also won’t only be about Oliver and Felicity and their relationship with each other. We will definitely explore more of Felicity’s relationship with Millie. We will also have to address William’s place in the family once more.

A little something at the end

The kids are still small or unborn in case of Baby #4 (he/she has a name, but I am not going to tell!), but I have so many plans for their futures.

I know about their jobs.

I know about their love lives. 

I know if they end up married.

Of course those plans might change, but I have ideas for where we are standing right now, some of those are clearer than others. Some of them are already written in The adventures of parenting teenagers.

Aaaaaaand I wouldn’t mind receiving questions about their futures that I could maybe turn into some mini-fics in the form of My brain tells me bedtime stories like these: x x x x x

They are all the best quality you can get so don't judge a book by it's cover Yes certain weapons can dismember more than others but dont you want to keep that dog elope innside the monster? Make what ever you want You can get added to the updates during playtesting, please keep things realistic, anyone and everyone can join your side as a republic of sorts A fast kill time doesnt count for squat when an army drunk on your blood is spilling into your little village If you dont have fun achieving it then its not worth playing and you should try harder Like any animals, each person comes with a varying ammount of cunning bred into them You want the choas x chariot even though people are bashing it for its skills Mikhail I say forget them This is REAL power right here!
