gonna be so mad if the supreme court takes up rent control and guts it for what are almost guaranteed to be exactly the wrong reasons. worst person you know, etc
#notebook#if rent control has a million haters I am one of them &c#for context: I am a renter! I would like rents to go down! rent control does not do that and in fact tends to exacerbate the problem#the hope is that if rent control is off the table city govts will be forced to resort to less popular but more effective strategies#i.e. upzoning; public housing; etc
